        저온탄화처리 폐가구재로 제조한 재생보드의 물성

        This study was carried for recycling laminated PB and MDF of disused furniture. PB and MDF particles taken from disused furniture were heat-treated at 250℃ and four levels of treatment time, 2, 4, 6 and 8 hours. The recycled boards were made with heat-treated particles after milling and screening with 100 mesh. The bending strength of the recycled boards were lower than that of virgin boards while their anti-swelling efficiency were much improved. Their formaldehyde emissivity were very low. Thus it was concluded that the recylcled boards are prospective environment-friendly material for interial consturction.

        혈장접착제를 이용한 생활목질폐잔재로부터 제조된 흑탄 보드의 성질

        This study was carried out to manufacture black charcoal board from domestic wood waste by using serum protein adhesive which is natural, environment-friendly and human-friendly. For the preparation of the serum protein adhesive, pig blood from slaughterhouse was centrifuged and serum was separated from corpuscles and concentrated to 30% by dry weight basis. The particle size of charcoal from domestic wood waste for this study was #6-60. Hot pressing schedule was 170℃ and 40㎏f/㎠ (1 min)-10㎏f/㎠ (2.5 min)-40㎏f/㎠ (5 min). The black charcoal board made by the addition of 13% serum protein adhesive on dry weight basis gave 41.76㎏f/㎠ of bending strength, 8.12kgf/㎠ of internal bonding strength, and excellent gas adsorption and workability.

        폐 MDF 폭쇄 섬유로부터의 MDF제조

        This study was carried out to displace traditional virgin wood fiber by exploded MDF-waste fiber for the manufacture of medium density fiberboard. MDF waste was exploded in condition of $215^{\circ}C,20$ minutes. The higher the mixing ratio of exploded MDF-waste fiber, the lower the MOR and IB of MDF. There was no difference of formaldehyde emission by desiccator method between virgin wood fiber and exploded MDF-waste fiber. Adding $25^{\circ}C$ of exploded MDF-waste fiber met the KS of MDF 15 type.

        폐MDF의 해리와 고해처리를 통한 고밀도 Fiber Board제조

        This study was carried out to resplace traditional virgin wood fiber by recycled MDF-waste fiber for the manufacture of high density fiberboard. For the recycling, MDF waste was disintegrated for 10 minutes and beaten for 15 minutes. There was no difference in formaldehyde emission by desiccator method between virgin wood fiber and disintergrated and beaten MDF-waste fiber. Fiberboard which was maded from 100% of disintergrated and beaten MDF-waste fiber showed similar physical and mechanical properties to those of virgin fiber. The yield of recycled fiber from MDF waste was 85%.

      • 병원녹농균(病院綠膿菌)의 동종균접합(同種菌接合)에 의한 다제내성(多劑耐性)의 전달(傳達)

        Two hundred and ninety-five strains of Peudomonas aeruginosa isolated from clinical sources were tested for drug resistance and demonstration of R plasmids by intraspecies conjugation system. Sixty strains were found highly resistant to two or more of drugs. The rate of resistant strains were 38.9% to kanamycin(km), 33.2% to streptomydn(sm), 22.7% to sulfisomidine(Sa), 14.2% to chloramphenicol(Cp), 13.8% to tetracycline(Tc), 3.0% to carbenicillin(Cb), and to gentamicin(Gm), respectively. But no strains was resistant to nalidixic acid and colistine. They were resistant to per milliliter to more than $400{\mu}g$ per ml. of Tc, $800{\mu}g$ per ml of Cp and of Sm, $6,400{\mu}g$ per ml. of Sa, $200{\mu}g$ per ml. of Cb, $100{\mu}g$ per ml. of Gm, and $25{\mu}g$ per ml. of colistine. Forty-three strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa could be transferred their resistance to Pseudomonas aeruginosa 2-70, 1005 rifampin resistant FP-auxotrophic mutant. Of sixty multiple resistant strains, forty-three(71.6%) demonstrated R plasmids; nineteen carried resistance to(Tc Cp Sm Sa), six to(Tc Cp Sm), three to(Tc Cp Sa), and Cp, five to(Tc Sm Sa), two to(Tc Sa), (Cp Sm) and Tc, and one to(Cp Sm Sa). Degree of resistance of recipients recieving R plasmids from donors were almost the same level of resistance as the donor in regardless of mating temperature at $25^{\circ}C$ and $37^{\circ}C$. Resistance to Tc, Sm, and Sa were transferred to a very few of recipient cells at five minutes after mating with donor and recipient cells but resistance to Cp were transferred to the majority of recipient cells. The transfer frequency of Tc, Cp, Sm, and Sa resistance from donors to recipients were from $1.0^{-1.4}\;to\;1.0^{-3.5}$ at $25^{\circ}C$ for 18 hours of incubation and were from $1.0^{-1.5}\;to\;1.0^{-3.5}$ at $37^{\circ}C$ for 18 hours of incubation.

        제조국가별 국가연구시설장비 구축 현황에 따른 국산연구장비 산업 활성화 정책 제언: 기초·분석과학 분야 중심으로

        본 연구의 목적은 과거 14년간 한국 정부가 투자한 연구시설 · 장비의 구축정보를 기반으로 제조국가별로 기초 · 분석과학 분야의 연구시설 · 장비 구축 수와 구축금액 차이를 비교 분석하여 국산연구장비의 시장규모와 시장점유의 수준을 알아보고자 하였다. 2019년 1월 1일을 기준으로 2005년부터 2018년까지 국내에 구축되고, 기초 · 분석과학 분야에 활용되는 연구시설 · 장비(구축금액이 3천만원 이상인 주장비 기준) 20,687점의 구성, 장비표준분류, 구축 수, 그리고 구축금액을 제조국가별로 분석하였다. 제조국가별 연구시설 · 장비 구축 수 차이를 비교 분석하기 위하여 단일표본 카이제곱검정 방법을, 구축금액 차이를 비교 분석하기 위하여 일요인 분산분석 방법과 본페로니 사후검정 분석을 사용하였다. 본 연구 결과, 각 제조국가별로 연구시설 · 장비 구축 수(p <.001)와 구축금액(p <.05)은 통계학적으로 유의하게 차이가 있었으며 특히, 장비표준분류에 따라 국내 기업의 연구시설 · 장비 점유 규모가 통계학적으로 유의하게 상이하였다(p <.05). 따라서 기초 · 분석과학 분야에 대한 연구장비 국산화 정책 지원 시, 장비유형 및 구축금액별로 정부의 차별화된 전략과 함께 상이한 정책연구 기획이 필요할 것으로 사료된다. The purpose of the current study was to investigate the level of market size and market share of domestic research equipments for analyzing the difference of the number and amount of construction by the manufacturing countries in the basic and analytical science fields based on the information of the research equipment invested by the Korean government for the past 14 years. As of January 1 2019, from 2005 to 2018, 20,687 research facilities & equipments (main equipment with a construction cost of 30 million won or more) built in the basic and analytical science fields were selected for this study and their components, standard classification, number of construction, and amount of construction by country of manufacture were analyzed. Differences of the number and amount of construction among manufacturing countries were tested using a single sample chi-square test and one-way analysis of variance, followed by Bonferroni’s post-hoc test. As a result of this study, the number of construction (p <.001) and construction amount (p <.05) were statistically different for each manufacturing country. The level of market size and market share was significantly different according to the equipment standard classification (p <.05). Therefore, differentiated strategies of the government and policy research projects will be required for each type of equipment and amount in order to support the policy for the localization of research equipment.

        고령자에서 고인슐린혈성 저혈당을 나타낸 nesidioblastosis 1예

        Nesidioblastosis is characterized by a diffuse proliferation of islet cells arising from pancreatic ducts and is the most common cause of hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemia in newborns and infantile. It is exceedingly rare in adults and no concensus regarding its diagnosis and management is available. We herein describe an elderly man with fasting hypoglycemia, inappropriate insulin hypersecre- tion. And pathologic examination of his pancreas revealed the characteristic finding of nesidioblastosis confirmed by immunohistochemical stain. (J Kor Soc Endocrinol 12:485-490, 1997)

        Patients with acromegaly have a reduced life expectancy rnainly due to cardiovascular, respiratory or cerebrovascular diseas-. Malignancy also seems to occur with greater than the expected incidence. In particular, the published retrospective or prospective studies have suggested a strong association of colonic neoplasia with acromegaly. But, there were a few reports of thyroid cancer in acrornegaly. We report a case of thyroid papillary cancer derived from diffuse goiter in acromegaly, sugge- sting the possible carcinogenic role of growth hormone(J Kor Soc Endocrinol 11:311-317, 1996)
