A temperature control system was developed to save energy in freeze dryer. The objective part in the freeze dryer was a shelf with an electrical heater and cooling compressor. The shelf was a fluid circulation heat exchanger. The temperature control of the shelf is generally a feedback control by present and set values of the shelf temperature only, whereas in new control algorithm the circulating fluid temperature and fluid circulating speed were included as well. The control algorithm was based on a concept of refraining the heater and cooler from being in operation if unnecessary. Actuators in use were mainly thyristor for heater, relay for cooling compressor, inverter for fluid circulating pump, etc. Type of Interfaces were RS232C, and digital-analog converter and digital-output converter. Program language was Visual Basic 6.0. Finally, control performance by the new algorithm could be improved in terms of energy saving and accuracy.

A holography technique optically reconstructs a three-dimensional object in space to provide a natural sense of depth and volume to the observer, thereby providing an ultimate 3D image capable of solving the problem of "vergence-accommodation conflict" occurring in a conventional stereoscopic imaging system. In this paper, we present a technical framework for measuring the performance and evaluating the quality of a holographic display, which enables a quantitative measurement of the optical and physical properties that affect the performance and quality of a holographic display. In addition, we provide the trend regarding standardization related to holographic display measurements. Although this trend has barely started, research activities related to holographic display measurements and quality evaluations are expected to grow in the near future.

동결건조기의 에너지 소모원으로 응축기, 선반의 가열 및 냉각기, 진공펌프를 들 수 있는데 본 연구에서는 유체순환식 선반의 가열 및 냉각기의 에너지 소모를 줄이고자 새로운 제어시스템을 개발하였다. 일반적인 유체순환식 선반의 온도제어방식은 선반온도를 측정하여 설정온도와의 편차에 의한 feedback 제어로 이루어지고 있으나, 본 제어방식에서는 선반온도 뿐만 아니라 순환유체의 온도도 측정 변수로 동시에 고려하고, 조절 대상으로 히터와 냉각기 뿐만 아니라 유체순환속도를 포함시켰다. 주된 제어 하드웨어로 히터에는 thyristor, 냉각기 compressor에는 relay, 순환펌프에는 inverter를 연결하였으며, 소프트웨어는 Visual Basic 6.0을 도구로 하여 프로그래밍 하였다. 데이터 수집은 동결건조기에 내장된 RS232C 통신보드, 제어 출력은 digital-analog, digital-output 변환기를 통하였다. 성능 평가로부터 선반온도의 설정온도로의 정확성이 증가하며, 히터와 냉각기의 불필요한 가동이 억제되어 에너지 절약 효과가 개선되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. In this study, we investigate the trends and prospects of spatial light modulation (SLM) technology that enables full complex modulation as a next-generation SLM. Current SLM technology, which is used as a key element in holography, augmented reality (AR), XR, and realistic displays, has performance limits that modulate only amplitude or phase. Notably, SLM capable of full complex modulation does not produce diffraction noise, unlike DC and twin image, and thus has a high-efficiency performance. In the future, the application field of next-generation SLM, which can be full-complex modulated, is expected to cover a wide range of holography-AR and-XR devices, optical artificial intelligence, and 6G free space optics communications, which will greatly contribute to the development of a super-realistic metaverse platform and service.
건축물 연면적에 따른 노상·노외 주차수요 산정 모형 구축

최근 충분한 주차공간 확보의 어려움으로 심각한 주차문제가 발생하고 있으며 또 다른 교 통문제나 사회문제로 이어지기도 한다. 일정 범위 이상의 지역·지구에서 발생하는 주차문제를 해결하기 위해서는 지역특성을 반영한 노상 및 노외주차장에 대한 연구가 필요하며 본 연구에 서는 지역·지구의 특성을 고려한 노상 및 노외주차 공급 정책을 수립하는데 기초 연구로 활용 하기 위한 주차수요 산정모형을 구축하였다. 연구수행을 위해 대구광역시 동구를 행정동으로 구분하여 주차시설, 주차수요를 조사하였다. 조사시간은 평일에 주간과 야간으로 구분하였으 며 차종은 승용차 소형트럭·버스, 대형트럭·버스 3종으로 구분하였다. 주차수요 산정을 위한 설명변수로 단독주택, 공동주택, 근린생활시설, 문화·집회시설, 업무시설, 판매시설 등 6가지의 용도별 건축물 연면적을 사용하였다. 상관분석 결과 6가지 설명변수 중 근린생활시설의 연면 적이 노상 및 노외 주차수요와 유의미한 상관관계를 나타내었다. 근린생활시설의 연면적을 설 명변수로 하여 회귀분석 모형을 구축하였고 통계적으로 유의미한 결과를 얻었다. Recently, serious parking problems are occurring due to the difficulty of securing sufficient parking space, and it may lead to other traffic or social problems. In order to solve the parking problem in areas and districts beyond a certain range, a study on-roads and off-street parking lots reflecting regional characteristics is necessary. Therefore, this study establishing a parking demand calculation model for use as a basic study in establishing on-road and off-road characteristics. In order to conduct the study, Dong-fu, Daegu Metropolitan City was divided into dongs, and parking facilities and parking demand were investigated. The survey time was divided into daytime and nighttime on weekdays, and the types of vehicles were divided into three types: passenger car, small trucks and buses, large trucks and buses. As explanatory variables for calculating parking demand, the total floor area of buildings for each of six purposes was used, including detached houses, apartment houses, neighborhood living facilities, cultural and assembly facilities, business facilities, and sales facilities. As a result of the correlation analysis, among the six explanatory variables, the total area of neighborhood living facilities showed a significant correlation with on- and off-street parking demand. A regression analysis model was constructed using the total area of neighborhood living facilities as an explanatory variable, and statistically significant results were obtained.
