        PDA를 기반으로 한 GPS의 유저 인터페이스 개발에 관한 연구

        사용자 인터페이스는 사용자의 관점에서 효율적인 커뮤니케이션이 이루어질 수 있는 형태로 제작되어야 함에도 불구하고 시스템의 제한된 기능과 범위 때문에 개발자 위주로 설계, 제작됨을 자주 볼 수 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서는 시스템 개발에 있어서 개발자와 인터페이스 디자이너가 초기 단계에서부터 참여하여 사용자가 요구하는 시스템의 기능적 구조 디자인과 컴퓨터와의 커뮤니케이션에 필요한 요소의 디자인 개발이 동시에 이루어져야 한다. 특히 기능적 구조 디자인의 경우 사용자가 시스템에서 요구할 수 있는 기능들을 이미지화 시키고, 시스템 운영의 결과물로서 화면에 디스플레이되는 정보를 사용자가 손쉽게 이해하고 판단할 수 있게 디자인되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 UI에 대한 이론을 선행 분석한 후 GPS 시스템의 기본적 구조와 기능 명세를 통하여 사용자의 요구 사항을 이미지화시키고 구현에 필요한 네비게이션, 다이알로그 버튼 및 박스, 이미지, 출력 화면 등을 조직화한 후 통합된 화면 레이아웃으로 제안하였다. User Interface is often designed and manufactured from a perspective of a developer because of the system`s limited functions and extent despite the fact that it should be manufactured in a way that it can promote efficient communication from a user`s perspective. To solve this problem, the developer and the interface designer should cooperate at the very initial stage of the system development and onwards, engendering the concurrent development of the functional system structure design desired by a user and of the components design necessary for communication with a computer. In particular, the functional structure design should take on the direction in which it can turn the functions a user may demand in the system into images and a user can easily understand and interpret the information that is displayed on the screen as the product of the system operation. In this study, the theories of UI were first analyzed, and the user`s demands were turned into images based on the fundamental structure and functions specification of the GPS system. Then the navigation, the dialogue button and box, images, and displays were organized to produce an integrated screen layout, which was suggested.

        자가 골연골 이식술을 이용한 Freiberg 병의 치료(1예 보고)

        Freiberg disease is a osteochondrosis of the lesser metatarsal heads. Various surgical treatment have been recommanded including joint debridement and metatarsal head reshaping, metatarsal dorsal wedge osteotomy, metatarsal head excision and joint arthroplasty. Autogenous osteochondral graft for the treatment of Freiberg disease is an effective restorative procedure that provides early range of motion exercise, weight bearing, and reduces other morbidity. We report a case of late stage Freiberg disease treated with arthrotomy, removal of loose body and autogenous osteochondral graft.

        Krackow 봉합술을 이용한 아킬레스 건 급성 파열의 치료

        Purpose: We try to evaluate the clinical results of the acute Achilles tendon rupture treated with Krackow suture technique. Materials and Methods: We reviewed 27 patients with acute Achilles tendon rupture treated between October 2005 and September 2007. There were 26 complete ruptures and 1 incomplete rupture. All were ruptured at tendinous area. There were 21 men and 6 women, and mean age was 38 years. We repaired ruptured Achilles tendon with Krackow suture technique. The results were evaluated with Arner-Lindholm scale for patients' satisfaction, strength of calf muscle power, calf circumference, and ankle motion. The average follow-up was 29 months. Results: The patients' subjective clinical results was excellent in 25 cases and good in 2 cases. There were 15 cases of less than 1 cm, 6 cases of 1${\sim}$3 cm, and 1 case of more than 3 cm in the calf circumference difference between the normal and affected leg. There were 20 cases of less than 5 degrees, and 2 cases of more 5 degrees in the difference of range of motion between the normal and affected ankle. We had an experience of postoperative deep infection in one diabetic patient. Conclusion: We had a good clinical result for acute Achilles tendon rupture treated with Krackow suture method. So we recommand Krackow suture technique for acute Achilles tendon rupture.

        Value of Ultrasound for Stability Assessment of Isolated Lateral Malleolar Fractures Compared to Stress Radiography and Arthroscopy

        Background: This study was performed to evaluate the value of using ultrasound for stability assessment of isolated lateral malleolar fractures compared to simple X-ray, stress radiography, and arthroscopy. Methods: This is a prospective cohort study with 25 consecutive patients who underwent an arthroscopic examination and subsequent surgery for isolated lateral malleolar ankle fractures. Before operation, simple and external rotation stress radiographs were obtained. Ultrasound was performed to assess the medial deltoid ligament prior to operation. Arthroscopic findings were used as reference standards. Sensitivity, specificity, and positive and negative predictability were calculated and compared using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis for simple radiography, stress radiography, and ultrasound examination. Results: The sensitivity and specificity of ultrasound for tears of the deep deltoid ligament were 94.74% and 66.67%, respectively. But, they were both 100% for complete tears of the ligament. ROC curve analysis showed that the ultrasound examination was significantly more accurate than simple and stress radiography. Conclusions: Ultrasound could be used to assess the instability of isolated lateral malleolar fractures. Commonly used stress radiography appears to overrate the need for operative treatment.

        변형된 장 족무지 굴건 이전술을 이용한 진구성 아킬레스 건 파열의 치료

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical results of the old Achilles tendon rupture treated with modified flexor hallucis longus (FHL) tendon transfer. Materials and Methods: Seventeen patients with old Achilles tendon rupture treated with modified FHL tendon transfer between March 2004 and February 2008 were enrolled in this study. Technically FHL was pass through the distal portion of the ruptured tendon instead of the drilled hole made on the calcaneus. The mean age of the patients was 37 years (range, 22~67 years), mean follow-up period was 28 months (range, 12~30 months). Patients' subjective satisfaction, calf circumferential diameter, range of motion of ankle and AOFAS ankle-hind foot score and Arner-Lidholm score was evaluated. Results: The average gap between the ruptured tendon was 52 mm (range, 47~56 mm). The AOFAS score improved from 47 pre-operatively to 91 points at the last follow-up. Sixteen patients were satisfied with the result free from discomfort, a patient had mild discomfort who had DM. fourteen patients had decreased range of motion less than 5 degrees while 2 patients had more than 7 degrees decrease compared to the intact side but had no discomfort in daily activities. Nine patients had less than 1 cm calf circumferential diameter difference and 7 patients had 1 to 3 cm diameter difference compared to the intact side. One who had more than 3 cm diameter difference had deteriorated muscle strength. Conclusion: Modified FHL tendon transfer can be a useful technique for the treatment of old Achilles tendon rupture when the gap is with large gap placed too proximal.

        Performance Evaluation of the JEOL BioMajesty JCA-BM6010/C Automated Clinical Chemistry Analyzer

        Background: JEOL BioMajesty JCA-BM6010/C (JCA-BM6010/C, JEOL Ltd., Japan) is a recently developed ultra-compact automated clinical chemistry analyzer with a throughput of 1,200 tests per hour. Here, we present the first performance evaluation of JCA-BM6010/C. Methods: We evaluated the precision, linearity, correlation, accuracy, and carryover of 11 analytes (ALP, ALT, AST, calcium, creatinine, GGT, glucose, LDH, total bilirubin, total protein, and uric acid) using the JEOL closed reagent (JEOL Ltd.) according to the guidelines of the Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute. Linearity was further evaluated for ALT, AST, and GGT using open reagents by Sekisui (Japan). The performance of JCA-BM6010/C was compared to that of the Roche-Hitachi Cobas 8000 c702 chemistry autoanalyzer (Cobas 8000, Roche Diagnostics, Switzerland). Its performance using open reagents from Denka Seiken (Japan), Roche, and Sekisui was also evaluated. Results: The total coefficients of variation (CV) for all analytes were 1.0–2.7%. Linearity was observed for all analytes over the entire tested analytical range (R2≥0.99). The results of JCA-BM6010/C strongly correlated (r≥0.988) with those of Cobas 8000 for all evaluated analytes except LDH (r=0.963), as well as for all open reagents. Recovery rates for creatinine, glucose, calcium, and uric acid were 96.6–101.5% and 98.7–109.3% with the JEOL exclusive and open reagents, respectively. Sample carryover was less than 0.34%. Conclusions: JCA-BM6010/C showed acceptable performance in the precision, linearity, correlation, accuracy, and sample carryover analyses and in the method comparison. Therefore, it could be a useful routine laboratory medical analyzer.

        Synovial chondromatosis is an uncommon disorder characterized by cartilaginous proliferation in the synovium. The cartilaginous nodules occur in the synovial membrane of a joint, bursa, or tendon sheath. It frequents large joints including knee, hip, and elbow. Synovial chondromatosis originating from the first metatarsal is extremely rare. We report a case of 37-year-old man with synovial chondromatosis of the first metatarsal.

        전향성 골수내 K-강선을 이용한 중족골 두 및 경부 골절의 비관혈적 정복 및 고정술(6예 보고)

        Metatarsal head and neck fractures are injuries that often result from a direct blow of a heavy objects to the metatarsal head. The head is often impacted or displaced to the plantar aspect that if not treated may cause malunion which later induces painful plantar calluses. If the fracture fragment is large enough, closed reduction may be successfully performed, but when the fragment is small or closed reduction is unsuccessful, open reduction is needed. We present our reduction and fixation technique for the metatarsal head and neck fractures using antegrade intramedullary Kirschner wire (K-wire) without opening the fracture site or infringing the metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint which allows immediate motion of the joint and partial weight bearing in a stiff soled shoe.

        전시 공간에서의 디지털 미디어 표현 특성 분석

        본 연구는 전시공간에 적용된 디지털미디어의 공간 활용 사례를 통해 디지털미디어 표현 특성의 흐름을 분석해보고자 하였다. 전시공간에 적용된 디지털미디어의 표현 특성으로는 상호 작용성, 하이퍼링크, 가상성, 유희성, 유연성 등이 도출되었다. 디지털미디어는 공간표현영역에 있어서 발상의 광범위한 전환과 시각적인 유혹의 차원을 넘어서서 지속 가능한 정보의 순환과 교환의 측면 공간의 물리적인 요소들의 변화를 최소화 할 수 있는 대안이 될 수 있으며 이를 통하여 제품과 사용자와의 상호작용적인 커뮤니케이션을 통해 보다 적극적으로 소비자의 구매 욕구를 자극하고 능동적인 피드백을 통해 기업의 이익 찾층에 많은 기여를 할 수 있음을 파악 할 수 있다. Accordingly the following studies to extract the expression types and flow of the utilized characteristics through examples of the space utilization of digital media applied to exhibition space. Through the expression characteristic of digital media that is applied to digital space, mutual applicability, hyperlink, virtual features, amusing features, flexibility has been extracted. Digital media can be an alternative in the continuous circulation and exchange of information that goes beyond the broad transmission of thoughts and visual attractions and can minimize the changes in physical factors of space.
