        The wormwood is one of the plants which occur widely throughout the world. Though the precise data on the entire chemical composition of mugwort leaves are not available, the major principles which have been found so far include inulin, alkaloid, thujon, sesquiterpene and several vitamins. Santonin, a parasiticide, is one of the glucosides extracted from the limited species of wormwood. It has long been known in herb medicine that the plants of this family has not only strong hemostatic, analgesic and parasiticidal actions but also therapeutic effects for diarrhea, stomachache and asthma. In recent pharmaceutical botany the wormwood is introduced to have antipyretic and astringent actions also. The mugwort(Artemisia asiatica Nakai) is the most common species of wormwood that occurs in Korea. The usage of this edible leaves of mugwort is rather various. It is used not only for wormwood bath but also as forage, moxa and medicinal agents. Recently Kim et al reported from their study on the effect of mugwort on the motility of isolated intestine of rabbits that tonus and motility were markedly enhanced by mugwort but this effect of mugwort on intestinal motility was almost completely blocked by atropine suggesting that activity of mugwort was exerted through its cholinergic effect. It was the findings of Kim et al that prompted the authors to do the present experiment. The present study was undertaken to investigate effects of mugwort(Artemisia asiatica Nakai) juice on the respiration and blood pressure in cats. And also studied was the mechanism of depressor action of Artemisia asiatica Nakai Juice (AAJ). The results obtained are as follows; 1) It was observed that mean arterial blood pressure and heart rate were decreased markedly by AAJ. Following administration of 0.15 ml/kg and 0.3 ml/kg AAJ into cats the maximum depressor responses observed were $77.5{\pm}2.2\;mmHg$ and $94.0{\pm}3.7\;mmHg$ respectively. 2) Depressor responses to AAJ were blocked markedly by atropine whereas the responses were not affected by propranolol and dibenamine. Therefore it is strongly inferred that depressor action of AAJ results mainly from its cholinergic effect. This inference was further substantiated by the fact that heart rate change which invariably accompanies depressor responses to AAJ was almost completely abolished by atropinization. 3) After administration of AAJ into cats frequency of respiration was markedly increased while depth of respiration decreased during first 2-3 seconds.

        죽상혈전성 허혈성 뇌경색증 환자의 뇌혈관 변화를 간접적으로 나타내주는 망막 세동맥 변화

        Purpose: Retinal blood vessels and cerebral small vessels possess similar characteristics anatomically, physiologically and embryologically. We studied the availability of abnormal fundus findings of patients who had an atherothrombotic ischemic stroke and who have the risk factors. Methods: Fundus photographs and brain images were taken in patients who had a first-ever symptomatic ischemic stroke of large artery atherosclerosis (LAA) or small vessel occlusion (SVO) from March 2004 to February 2005. We analyzed the association between fundus abnormalities and ischemic stroke subtypes. Results: Based on brain MRI and MRA, a total of 47 patients were classified into SVO and LAA groups. The SVO group consisted of 27 patients (mean age: 69.7 years), and the LAA group consisted of 20 patients (mean age: 65.4 years). The control group comprised 15 patients (mean age: 64.9 years). The baseline characteristics were similar among the three groups. The severity of the retinal arteriolar narrowing and sclerosis were associated with hypertension. Compared to the control group, both the SVO and LAA groups showed more severe arteriolar sclerosis, the SVO group showed more severe arteriolar narrowing and the LAA group showed more frequent AV crossing and retinal exudate. Conclusions: Retinal arteriolar abnormalities such as arteriolar narrowing and sclerosis are more severe in atherothrombotic ischemic stroke patients. Indirectly, retinal microvascular changes may indicate the status of the cerebral vasculature. Thus, analysis of fundus findings is useful for predicting an atherothrombotic ischemic stroke and planning follow-up examinations.

        공심법에 의한 $BaTiO_3$ 분말제조

        $BaTiO_3$ ceramics powder was prepared by coprecipitation method either in oxalic acid solution or in potassium hydroxide solution. Thermal decomposition of coprecipitated $BaTiO(C_2O_4)_2$.$4H_2O$ powder in oxalic acid solution was investigated by means of Themogravimetry Differential Thermal Analysis and X-ray Diffraction Analysis. Low temperature decomposition of coprecipitated $BaTiO(C_2O_4)_2$.$4H_2O$ caused narrow particle size distribution whereas high temperature decomposition caused fairly wide particle size distribution by partial sintering. As the reaction time increased the average particle size of coprecipitated $BaTiO_3$ powder in KOH solution was increased. The most narrow paticle size distribution was obtained when the coprecipi-tates were ripened for 4hrs.

        저온 Cu/Ag-Ag/Cu 본딩에서의 Ag 나노막 효과

        차세대 반도체 기술은 이종소자 집적화(heterogeneous integration)를 이용한 시스템-인-패키징(system-inpackage, SIP) 기술로 발전하고 있고, 저온 Cu 본딩은 SIP 구조의 성능 향상과 미세 피치 배선을 위해서 매우 중요한 기술이라 하겠다. 본 연구에서는 porous한 Ag 나노막을 이용하여 Cu 표면의 산화 방지 효과와 저온 Cu 본딩의 가능성을 조사하였다. 100℃에서 200℃의 저온 영역에서 Ag가 Cu로 확산되는 것보다 Cu가 Ag로 확산되는 것이 빠르게 관찰되었고, 이는 저온에서 Ag를 이용한 Cu간의 고상 확산 본딩이 가능함을 나타내었다. 따라서 Ag 나노막을 이용한 Cu 본딩을 200℃에서 진행하였고, 본딩 계면의 전단 강도는 23.27 MPa로 측정되었다. System-in-package (SIP) technology using heterogeneous integration is becoming the key of next-generation semiconductor packaging technology, and the development of low temperature Cu bonding is very important for high-performance and fine-pitch SIP interconnects. In this study the low temperature Cu bonding and the anti-oxidation effect of copper using porous Ag nanolayer were investigated. It has been found that Cu diffuses into Ag faster than Ag diffuses into Cu at the temperatures from 100℃ to 200℃, indicating that solid state diffusion bonding of copper is possible at low temperatures. Cu bonding using Ag nanolayer was carried out at 200℃, and the shear strength after bonding was measured to be 23.27 MPa.

        Type Object Class에 의한 Type Object 디자인 패턴의 런타임 클래스 참조문제의 해결

        Type Object 디자인 패턴은 하나의 클래스가 수많은 하위 클래스를 갖거나, 그 하위 클래스의 개수를 소프트웨어 개발시에 예측할 수 없는 상황을 해결하고자 제시된 패턴이다. 그러나, 이 패턴은 적용력과 여러 장점에도 불구하고 인스턴스를 생성하는 클래스와 그 인스턴스의 실제적 클래스가 분리되어 있고 또한 객체 레퍼런스에 의해서 서로 연관되어 있으므로 이에 대한 관리를 위한 메커니즘과 패턴의 이해에 있어서 많은 복잡성을 갖는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 Type Object Class의 설계와 구현을 제시한다. 즉, Type Object 패턴의 Type Class와 Object Class로부터 Type Object Class를 설정하고, 이를 런타임에 생성되고 사용되게 함으로써, 인스턴스들이 객체 지향프로그래밍 언어에서 제공하는 고유의 클래스를 참조하게 되어 별도의 클래스 참조 메커니즘을 가질 필요가 없도록 하였다. 따라서, 별도의 클래스 참조 메커니즘을 개발하는 부담과 이 메커니즘의 동작으로 인한 실행 상의 성능 저하의 문제가 개선되는 효과가 있다. The Type Object Design Pattern is proposed to provide a solution on the situation in the case that one class has too many subclasses or the number of subclasses are undefined. Although this pattern has many advantages in terms of applicability and dynamic object behavior, it has a weak point in runtime pattern operation that it has to build and maintain a class reference mechanism in runtime to reference the class (de facto 'object') of instances. To solve that problem, this paper addresses the solution of the runtime class reference problem of Type Object Pattern. it defines a new class of Type Object Class (TOC) from Type Class and Object Class in Type Object pattern and presents the methods of creating, compiling, and memory-loading the TOC. It depends on built-in class reference mechanism of object-oriented programming language, and is not necessary to fit with the additional mechanism. Consequently, we need not to set up the additional class reference mechanism and system performance is enhanced due to it.

        중소기업의 기술혁신 지원을 위한 전문가(Project-Specialist)제도 도입 방안

        IT중소기업(Small and Medium-size Enterprises)의 기술개발은 대학, 출연연구소 및 대기업의 기술 개발과는 달리 인력, 재원, 규모 둥에서 환경이 매우 열악하다. 중소기업들이 열악한 환경은 정부가 지원하는 기술개발 출연사업에 대한 과열경쟁을 불러오고, 기술개발 규모는 과제당 3억원 내외로 적은 예산을 다수의 기업에 나누어 지원하는 현상이 발생하고 있다. 다수 소액과제를 지원관리하면서 연구개발 내용보다는 기업의 부실화 둥 기술개발 외적인 관리에 치중하게 된다. 따라서 실태조사 등 불필요한 현장 감사가 진행될 수밖에 없는데, 감독목적의 실태조사보다 기술개발을 주관하는 중소기업의 기술애로 해소 및 상업화 등 노하우 지원이 시급한 실정이다. 따라서 중소기업의 실질적인 기술개발 지원을 위해서 대학이나 연구소 등에 근무하는 기술개발 및 상용화 전문가들을 중소기업의 기술개발 지원 전문가로 활용하는 방안을 제안한다. Small and Medium-size Enterprises's R & D Program progress is hard than the university, government R & D agency and big enterprises. this environment make heat competition among the small and medium-size enterprises and subsidies little budget for many enterprises. from the management agency of the Institute of Information Technology Assessment(IITA)'s most of the activities focusing to the enterprises management not R & D Program. so, this paper suggestion an adaption on the project specialist system for the small and mediumlTenterprises'stechnologyinnovation'.

        초등수학 교과서 표현의 학습자 이해 가능성 분석

        The purpose of this study is to analyze expressions in the first and second grade math textbooks in elementary school in the aspect of possibilities of learners' understanding and propose proper directions for expressions in math textbooks to increase the possibilities of their understanding. The findings show that there were four types of expression errors and five types of mathematical errors in the aspects of expression method and content, respectively.

        Z-소스 인버터의 병렬운전 특성 개선

        본 논문에서는 연료전지 시스템을 위한 Z-소스 인버터로 구성된 병렬운전 연료전지 시스템의 순환전류 감쇄 방안을 검토하였다. PWM 방식으로는 Carrier phase shifted SPWM을 적용하였으며, 이 방식은 출력 전류의 고조파 성분을 줄일 수 있는 장점을 갖는다. 그러나 이 기법을 Z-소스 인버터로 구성된 병렬운전 시스템에 적용하는 경우 추가적으로 순환전류가 발생한다. Z-소스 인버터로 구성된 병렬운전 시스템이 동작 시 발생하는 순환전류를 감소시키며, 부하전류에 낮은 고조파 성분을 가질 수 있도록 커플링된 순환전류 리액터를 사용하였다. 순환전류 리액터를 상호 커플링시킴으로써 순환전류를 추가적으로 감소시킬 수 있다. 이에 대한 적합성을 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통해 입증하였다. In this paper, a circulating current reduction approach for the parallel operation of fuelcell systems with Z-source inverters is investigated. The carrier phase shifted SPWM(Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation) is used as a modulation method since it has an advantage in reducing output current harmonics. However, when this technique is applied to the parallel operation of Z-source inverters, it additionally produces circulating currents. A coupled circulating current reactor is used to reduce circulating current generated by the parallel operation of Z-source inverters and to reduce output current harmonics. The proposed circulating current reduction approach using coupled circulating current reactors is verified through simulation and experiment.
