Chitosan acetate was prepared by the acetylation of chitosan with acetic anhydride and perchloric acid. Chitosan acetate films were cast from 5~10% yarn polymer solutions in 90% aqueous forulic acid. Fibers were wet-spun from the above solutions. From the IR spectra and ISC- NMR, we conjecture that the amino group in chitosan with formic acid upon dissolving the chitosan forms quaternary ammonium salt. The degree of acetylation increases with reaction time of chitosan, but we found that the acetylation is accompanied by chain scission. Chitosan was regenerated from the chitosan acetate by treating with sodium methoxide. The results of mechanical test of regenerated chitosan, the tensile strength and initial modulus increase and the elongation decreases with the relative humidity.

The tension-temperature coefficient and the isothermal stress-strain behavior and thermal behavior have been measured for dicumylperoxide crosslinked TOR rubber. The elastic equation of state has been used in order to convent the thermodynamic data obtained at constant pressure into the corresponding data at constant volume. From the experimental results, the existence of the inversion point in the stress-temperature curves is shown to be due solely to ordinary volume thermal expansion and may be eliminated by correcting this thermal expansion. And at low extension ratio, linear thermal expansion coefficient is shown to be positive value because the component of volume expansion as internal energy contribution term is larger than that of thermoelastic retractive force as entropy contribution term. But at the higher extension ratio, the component of thermolastic retractive force become larger than that of volume expansion.

Chitin is associated with other polysaccharides in fungal cell walls, while in animal forms chitin is associated with proteins. Chitin is a naturally occurring polysaccharide consituted of N-acetylglucosamine units, and also known is that when isolated, about one out of every six acetylamino groups in chitin is in free amine form. Chitin was separated in clean form form crab shell by acid and alkali treatment and acetyl chitin of different degree of acetylation were prepared to investigate the fiber properties. Chitosan acetate(acetlated chitin) was prepared by the acetylation of chitin in the presence of perchloride acid(70%) wiyth calculated amount of acetic anhydride(98%) at 0℃ for 4hours. Chitosan acetate exhibited increased solubility in formic acid compared with chitin and chitosan was easily soluble even in 90% aquous formic acid chitosan acetate fiber was obtained from a chitosan-formic acid solution which was found to be spinnable. Chitosan acetate fibers were success fully prepared from formic acid solution and thus obtained chitosan acetate solution was spun into first coagulation bath through a platinum nozzle at pressure 3.0-3.5kg Cm² X-ray diffraction analysis for chitosan acetate fiber was also investigated.
질문지법과 문화기술적 방법에 의한 초등학교의 과학적 태도에 대한 비교 분석

For a profound understanding about the elementary students' scientific attitude, I have performed this study based on the students' opinion by the ethnographic interview and participant observation of science classes. I have analyzed the data by qualitative data analyzing method, and compared the analyzed results with analyzed results by the Likert's scaled as a questionnaire method. To perform this study, I selected one elementary school located in an agricultural village in Choong-Buk Province in Korea and studied four 5th grade students. Here, I present results of this study as follows. First, in ethnographic interview, all informants represented positive reaction to scientific curiosity. But, It is appeared that there are external curiosity and internal curiosity. Internal curiosity is more closely and positively related to problem solving skills. Second, all informants represented positive open-mindness expressing their own opinions actively and accepting other students' opinions. Students who had positive critical-mindness and voluntariness recorded high scores in science achievement. Third, scientific attitude analyzed by ethnographic methods didn't correspond with scientific attitude measured by Likert's scale in all cases. I presumed this discrepant result could come from subjects' different tendency on replying to questionnaire and students' own criterion.

A new wafer level packaging scheme is presented as an alternative to MEMS package. The proof-of-concept structure is fabricated and evaluated to confirm the feasibility of the idea for MEMS wafer level packaging. The scheme of this work is developed using an electroplated tin (Sn) solder. The critical difference over conventional ones is that wafers are laterally bonded by solder reflow after LEGO-like assembly. This lateral bonding scheme has merits basically in morphological insensitivity and its better bonding strength over conventional ones and also enables not only the hermetic sealing but also its electrical interconnection solving an open-circuit problem by notching through via-hole. The bonding strength of the lateral bonding is over 30 Mpa as evaluated under shear and the hermeticity of the encapsulation is 2.0$\times10^{-9}$mbar.$l$/sec as examined by pressurized Helium leak rate. Results show that the new scheme is feasible and could be an alternative method for high yield wafer level packaging.
