        호스피스 자원봉사자의 직무 스트레스와 감성지능 간의 관계

        목적: 본 연구는 호스피스 자원봉사자의 직무 스트레스 정도를 파악하고 직무 스트레스와 감성지능의 관계를 확인함으로써 호스피스 자원봉사자의 스트레스 감소를 위한 중재 프로그램 개발에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 시행되었다. 방법: 본 연구는 B 광역시에 소재하는 2개의 상급종합병원과 4개의 종합병원에서 6개월 이상 호스피스 자원봉사자로 근무하고 있는 봉사자 중 연구에 대한 설명을 듣고, 서면으로 동의한 봉사자 158명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구대상자의 일반적 특성, 자원봉사활동 특성, 직무 스트레스, 감성지능을 조사하였다. 자료는 IBM SPSS 18.0을 이용하여 기술통계, t-검정, ANOVA 및 Pearson correlation coefficients를 이용하여 분석하였다. 결과: 직무 스트레스는 2.16점이고 감성지능은 4.65점으로 측정되었다. 호스피스 자원봉사자의 직무 스트레스와 감성지능은 교육수준과 월수입에 따라 차이가 있었다(r=-0.196, P=0.013). 결론: 호스피스 자원봉사자의 직무 스트레스는 교육수준, 월수입과 감성지능에 따라 차이를 보였다. 따라서 호스피스 자원봉사자가 환자와 가족에게 돌봄을 제공하고 팀의 일원으로 활동할 수 있도록 정기적인 교육을 제공하고 정서적 지지를 제공할 수 있는 지지체계가 마련되어야 할 것이다. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the level of occupational stress and emotional intelligence in hospice volunteers. Methods: Participants were 158 hospice volunteers at hospitals in B city. Occupational stress, emotional intelligence, and general characteristics of hospice volunteers were measured. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficients. Results: The mean score for occupational stress was 2.16 points out of 4 and 4.65 out of 7 for emotional intelligence. The scores for occupational stress and emotional intelligence were significantly different by educational level and monthly income in hospice volunteers. Occupational stress was negatively correlated with emotional intelligence (r=-0.196, P=0.013). Conclusion: A continuous educational program is needed to offer volunteers with new hospice-related trends. To ensure quality care for patients and their families, it should be helpful to encourage hospice volunteers to build a social network to enhance their emotional intelligence.

        유아교사의 완벽주의 군집유형에 따른 교사효능감과 소진

        Objective: The purpose of this study was to classify early childhood educators’ perfectionism types and to identify differences in teacher self-efficacy and teachers burnout according to the types of perfectionism. Methods: The participants of this study were 309 teachers working at early childhood education centers in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Daejeon, Se-jong, Kim-Cheon, and Hong-Sung, South Korea. Early childhood educators were surveyed regarding perfectionism, teacher self-efficacy and teacher burnout. The collected data were analyzed using K-means cluster analyses and analysis of covariance. Results: Cluster analyses with self-oriented perfectionism and other-oriented perfectionism as cluster variables resulted in three types of perfectionism among early childhood educators; ‘self-other directed perfectionism(33.0%)’, ‘other directed perfectionism(35.0%)’ and ‘non perfectionism(32.0%)’. Educators with self-other directed perfectionism reported higher teacher self-efficacy and lower teacher burnout than educators with other directed perfectionism or with non perfectionism. Conclusion/Implications: Early childhood educators’ perfectionism may be a significant personality trait linked to quality of education and care in real education settings.

        한국 아동패널 2008-2012 자료를 활용한 자녀 출산 후 5년간의 부부의 결혼만족도 변화궤적

        Objective: This study aimed to explore marital satisfaction changes of married couples from childbirth to 5 years postpartum using the data from the Panel Study of Korean Children 2008. 2012. Methods: A total of 2,072 coupes were followed longitudinally during the first 5 years after childbirth. Their repeatedly measured marital satisfaction were analyzed with growth modeling analyses. Results: Husbands and wives had different marital satisfaction trajectories regarding the rate of change and initial marital satisfaction scores. Further, the facets of postpartum marital satisfactions change varied depending on the couples’ first, second, and third (or more) birth(s). Conclusion: In general, Korean married couples’ marital satisfaction has a decreasing tendency after childbirth. Fathers’ marital satisfaction is generally higher but more rapidly decreases compared to mothers’ marital satisfaction. Also, couples after first child birth experience a faster decline of marital satisfaction compared to couples after second or third (or more) birth(s).

      • 여성 퇴행성관절염 환자의 비만과 관절기능상태와의 관계

        Purpose: This study was done to identify obesity and functional status of joint and to examine the relationship between obesity and functional status of joint in women patients with osteoarthritis. Method: Data were collected from questionnaires of 120 community osteoarthritis patients in D metropolitan city in Korea, from Oct. 3rd to Nov. 20th, 2011. Obesity was measured body mass index(BMI) and waist to hip ratio(WHR). Korean-Western Ontario and McMaster Universities(K-WOMAC) was used as a functional status of joint. Result: The mean item score of BMI was 24.64 and obese group(BMI ≥ 25kg/㎡) was the most common. 72.5% were abdomen obese group(WHR ≥ 0.85), the average score of WHR was 0.89. There were significant differences between BMI and K-WOMAC subscale{pain(r= .321, p= .017), stiffness(r= .373, p= .005), difficult of ADL(r= .420, p= .001)}, K-WOMAC total score(r= .413, p= .002). There were significant differences WHR and K-WOMAC subscale{stiffness(r= .334, p= .002), difficult of ADL(r= .246, p= .021)}, K-WOMAC total score(r= .233, p= .030). Conclusion: Obesity had significant correlation with functional status of joint of osteoarthritis patients. Interventions designed to promote weight loss and exercise in obese people who have osteoarthritis have demonstrated clinically significant improvement in symptoms and disease risk factor.

      • 예비유아교사의 국가수준 유아교육과정 건강생활영역 교수역량 자기 평가

        본 연구는 현장에서 국가수준 유아교육과정을 적용하고 가르쳐야 하는 두 예비교사 집단인 유아교육과 학생들과 유아특수교육과 학생들의 제 7차 국가수준 유치원 교육과정의 건강생활영역 교수 역량의 자기평가를 탐구하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 충청, 경기 지역의 3개 대학 유아교육학과 에 재학하는 학생 85명과 충청 지역의 대학의 유아특수교육학과에 재학하는 학생 75명이다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비유아교사들은 건강생활관련 영역의 교수 역량지각을 보통보다 약간 높은 정도로 지각하였다. 유아를 지속적으로 관찰/평가하고 건강 생활 영역의 목표와 내용에 맞는 적절한 지원을 하는 역량의 평균이 가장 높았으며, 다양한 상호작용을 할 수 있도록 격려 하고, 건강 생활영역의 목표와 내용에 맞는 질문을 하여 창의적 사고를 유도하는 역량의 평균이 가장 낮았다. 둘째, 유아교육학과에 재학하는 예비교사들보다 유아특수교육과에 재학하는 예비교사들의 건강생활에 대한 교수 역량지각이 더 높았다. 마지막으로, 건강생활관련 과목수강 및 만족도는 영역별 교수 역량지각에 이렇다 할 기여를 하지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 현재 대학교육과정에 포함된 건강생활 영역관련 과목들이 과연 유치원교육과정에 명시된 내용과 목표를 구체적이고 현장적응이 가능하도록 다루고 있는지 살펴보아야 함을 시사한다. Among the five constructs of the 7th National Preschool Curriculum, the importance Health Life Area cannot be overemphasized. Young children`s health and safety are the precursors of overall development and growth. This study was designed to explore the profiles of Korean pre-service teachers` instructional competencies in Health Life Area. Also, it was examined if participants` characteristics(majors, years of study, general knowledge of national curriculum, and experiences with children) were associated with their instructional competencies. The participants of this study were 160 university students who were majoring in early childhood education or early childhood special education. According to the results of this study, variables which had been regarded as having relationships with teachers` self efficacy such as experiences with children, majors, and education levels(years of study in universities) were associated with pre-service teachers` instructional competencies in Health Life Area education. Pre-service teachers majoring in early childhood special education had higher levels of competencies than pre-service teachers majoring in early childhood education. This may reflect curriculum differences between two majors (early childhood education and early childhood special education). Course credits taken by participants about health education or satisfaction with the courses were not associated with instructional competencies. It suggests that the effectiveness of courses for health education in teacher preparation programs should be re-examined.

        중고령자의 통증과 우울에 관한 연구: 잠재프로파일분석(Latent Profile Analysis)을 중심으로

        Purpose: This study attempted to classify the potential layer for pain in the middle-aged and elderly based on the seventh Aging Research Panel Survey (2018) data and to identify the degree of depression by potential layer. Methods: This study used data from the 2018 Aging Research Panel Survey, whose participants included 6,890 middle-aged and elderly people. The data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 22.0 and M-plus 8.0 for latent profile analysis. Results: In the study, Type 1 was a “general pain group”, Type 2 was the “high back pain group”, Type 3 was the “lower body pain group”, Type 4 was the “shoulder pain group”, and Type 5 was the pain-free group, which included those who answered that there was no pain. Second, it was found that the variables such as gender, age, education, or not alone were statistically significant (p<.001). Third, the difference in income, subjective health conditions, depression according to the pain site type group were confirmed. Depression was significantly higher in the back pain group, lower body pain group, and shoulder pain group compared to the pain-free group. Conclusion: Developing integrative interventions is necessary to reduce depression using the pain coping skills in middle-aged and Elderly.

        대학병원 임상간호사의 직무수행에 따른 안전보건 실행정도

        This study is to measure the levels of performance with safety and health in nursing activities and to understand the factors affected among hospital nurses. It consists of 120 hospital nurses in 3 general university hospitals located in Seoul, Korea. The tool used in this study was 5 pointed Likert scaled questionnaire which was designed with 44 items followed by in-depth interviews with 8 clinical nurses. Statistical analysis was performed by using PASW 19.0. The reliability of this questionnaire had Cronbach’s a .88. Nine factors were extracted in the Eigen value of 1.2 and cumulative % in 63.39. These factors were named in to ‘Hazardous environment exposure’, ‘Supportive organizational system’, ‘Tight nursing schedule’, ‘Work station’, ‘Physical symptoms’, ‘Safety precaution’, ‘Medical device management’, ‘Physical workload’, and ‘Working stress management’. There were significant differences between practice level with the out-patient department and the ward department of ‘Hazardous environment exposure’, ‘Supportive organizational system’, ‘Tight nursing schedule’, ‘Work station’, and ‘Physical workload’. ‘Tight nursing schedule’ had positive correlations with ‘Hazardous environment exposure’, ‘Physical workload’, ‘Physical symptoms’, ‘Safety precaution’ with significant Pearson correlation coefficients and could be explained with overtime work. Thus, safety and health educational program in managing ‘Hazardous environment exposure’ would be desirable to focus on the work schedule management including overtime work for ward department nurse. It would also be effective in using ‘Supportive organizational system’ for out patient department nurse.
