        합성조건이 제올라이트 SUZ-4의 물성에 미치는 영향

        빠른 교반 조건에서 구조주형화합물인 TEAOH(Tetraethyl ammonium hydroxide)를 이용하여 제올라이트 SUZ-4를 성공적으로 합성하였다. 교반속도 250 rpm 이상에서 결정성의 제올라이트 SUZ-4를 얻을 수 있었다. 이것은 교반이 재현성있는 합성에 결정적인 역할을 한다는 것을 의미한다. 사용한 물의 양$(H_2O/Al_2O_3)$의 차이에 의하여 SUZ-4 결정형태 조절이 가능하였다. XRD, BET 및 암모니아 TPD에 의해 SUZ-4의 물리화학적 성질 및 증기처리에 의한 열적 안정성이 조사되었다. Zeolite SUZ-4 was successfully synthesized with TEAOH (Tetraethyl ammonium hydroxide) as structure directing agent under a vigorous stirring condition. Well-defined zeolite SUZ-4 structure was only obtained under stirring of 250 rpm or more. The results imply that stirring plays a pivotal role for reproducible synthesis. Morphology of SUZ-4 crystal was controlled by adjustment of water concentrations. The physicochemical characterization of SUZ-4 and its hydrothermal stability using a steam treatment were investigated by using XRD, BET, and $NH_3-TPD$.

        In-situ SiN 박막을 이용하여 성장한 GaN 박막 및 LED 소자 특성 연구

        We have grown GaN layers with in-situ SiN mask by metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) and study the physical properties of the GaN layer. We have also fabricate PN junction light emitting diode (LED) to investigate the effect of the SiN mask on its optical property By inserting a SiN mask, (102) the full width at half maximum (FWHM) decreased from 480 arcsec to 409 arcsec and threading dislocation (TD) density decreased from $3.21{\times}10^9\;cm^{-2}$ to $9.7{\times}10^8\;cm^{-2}$. The output power of the LED with a SiN mask increased from 198 mcd to 392 mcd at 20 mA. We have thus shown that the SiN mask improved significantly the physical and optical properties of the GaN layer.

        니코틴과 PDGF-AB가 배양인체 치은섬유모세포 및 치주인대세포의 활성에 미치는 영향

        The ability of fibroblasts attached to teeth is paramount important in reestablishing the lost connective tissue attachment after periodontal therapy. The migration and proliferation of periodontal ligament cells are desired goal of periodontal regeneration therapy. PDGF is well known to regulate the cell activity of mesenchymal origin cell. Tobacco contains a complex mixture of substance including nicotine, various nitrosamines, trace elements, and variety of poorly characterized substances. Human gingival fibroblasts and periodontal ligament cells were cultured from extracted tooth for non-periodontal reason. Cultured human gingival fibroblasts and periodontal ligament cells in vitro were treated with PDGF, nicotine in time dependent manner. Cellular activities were determined by MTT assay. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of Nicotine and PDGF, respectively and the effect of PDGF presence of nicotine on human gingival fibroblasts and periodontal ligament cells. The results were as follows : 1. In the cell activities of human gingival fibroblasts and periodontal ligament cells were similar or decreased to control value at 1st day. At 2nd day, cellular activities of both group were increased to control value. At 3rd day, cellular activities of both group were returned to the control value. 2. In the cell activities of PDGF on human gingival fibroblasts and periodontal ligament cells, cell activities significantly increase from control group on periodontal ligament cells compared to gingival fibroblast group at 3rd day. 3. In the cell activities of PDGF and nicotine combined application on human gingival fibroblasts and periodontal ligament cells, it seems likely that the nicotinic effect of gingival fibroblasts were higher than periodontal ligament cells and the PDGF effect of periodontal ligament cells were higher than gingival fibroblasts. This results suggested that PDGF might stimulate the selective growth on periodontal ligament cells.

        공정 압력에 따라 스퍼터된 Al 도핑 ZnO 박막의 광학적, 전기적 특성

        We have studied structural, optical, and electrical properties of the Al-doped ZnO (AZO) thin films using RF magnetron sputtering with various working pressure. To find optimal properties of AZO for transparent conducting oxides, the working pressure in sputtering process was varied as 0.07 Torr, 0.02 Torr, and 0.007 Torr, respectively. As working pressure increased, the crystallinity of AZO thin film was improved, the surface roughness of AZO thin film decreased. The transmittance of the film was over 80% in the visible light range regardless of the changes in working pressure. In case of 0.007 Torr, best electrical properties was shown due to the reduction of oxygen absorption by decreasing surface roughness. RF 마그네트론 스퍼터링법을 이용하여 Al 도핑 ZnO 박막을 공정 압력에 따라 증착하고 박막의 구조적, 광학적, 전기적 특성을 연구하였다. 공정 압력 의 최적화를 위해 공정압력을 0.07 Torr, 0.02 Torr, 그리고 0.007 Torr로 변화하였다. 공정압력이 감소하면서, Al 도핑 ZnO 박막의 결정성은 향상되었고 표면 거칠기도 감소하였다. 모든 Al 도핑 ZnO 박막은 가시광선 영역(400~800 nm)에서 80% 이상 투과도를 보였다. 0.007 Torr의 공정 압력에서 가장 좋은 전기적 특성을 보였는데 이는 표면거칠기 감소에 따른 산소 흡착이 감소하여 나타난 현상으로 판단된다.

        RF 마그네트론 스퍼터링법으로 제조한 GZO 박막의 Ar 유량에 따른 특성

        In this study, ZnO:Ga thin films were fabricated on a glass substrate using various Ar flows by an RF magnetron sputter system at room temperature. The dependencies of Ar flow on different properties were investigated. An appropriate control over the Ar flow led to the formation of a high-quality thin film. The ZnO:Ga films were formed as a hexagonal wurtzite structure with high (002) preferential orientation. The films exhibited a typical columnar microstructure and a smooth top face. The average transmittance was 85~89% within the visible area. By decreasing the Ar flow, the sheet resistance was decreased due to an increase in the grain size and a decrease in the root mean square roughness. The lowest sheet resistance of 86 Ω/□ was obtained at room temperature for the 40 sccm Ar flow.

        A self-inflating bag resuscitator is universally used to ventilate patients during cardiopulmonary resuscitation and transfer. This device can be reused after sterilization and reassembly, and the mis-assembly of a resuscitator can possibly happen. We report here on a case of mis-assembly of a resuscitator valve that resulted to barotrauma and instability of a patient. (Korean J Anesthesiol 2008; 55: 731~5)

        지역사회개발을 통한 베트남 선교

        필자는 선교 초기에 지역개발 선교에 관심이 없었다. 영혼구원을 위한 선교와 교회설립이 모든 것인 줄 알았다. 그러다가 베트남 상황이 전통적인 방법의 선교를 할 수 있는 상황이 아닌 것을 깨닫고 그 이유가 기독교에 대한 혐오감인 것을 보았다. 그래서 가톨릭의 식민주의(프랑스)와 개신교의 제국주의(미국)로 인해 기독교가 그 땅에서 행한 잘못과 이유야 어찌 되었든 한국인이 그 땅에서 베트남전쟁 때 피 흘린 잘못을 회개하기 시작했다. 그리고 회개에 합당한 열매 맺음은 지극히 작은 자 하나를 섬기는 것이라 믿고 지역사회를 섬기기 시작했다. ‘식탁에서 시중드는 자’라는 디아코니아를 실천함으로 그들을 섬기는 일이 마땅하다는 마음을 가지고 베트남에서 NGO 단체로 등록한 한아봉사회를 통해 섬겨왔다. 그래서 지역사회개발 사역을 하게 되었고, 그 결과 필자를 경계하던 시선이 달라지고 교회에 대한 악감이 호감으로 바뀌며 믿지 않는 자나 타종교인까지도 디아코니아 선교에 협력하는 것을 보았다. 비단 베트남이라는 현장만이 아니라 교회의 위상이 떨어져 가는 한국교회와 열방 모든 나라에 디아코니아를 통한 지역사회개발 선교가 이 시대 선교의 대안 중의 하나라 믿고 있다. The author once firmly believed that the traditional way of mission, sharing the Words and planting churches, was the only way to lead people to Jesus; however, the author have discovered that such method was not applicable in Vietnam due to their strong hatred and discomfort underneath their very soul towards Christianity, caused by long suffered colonization (France) and imperialism (U.S.A.) practiced by Christian nations. Regardless of whom to be blamed, the author, as a Christian, started to repent on behalf of all Christian societies and Korean soldiers who mercilessly persecuted the Vietnamese during the war times. In addition, the author have come to believe that serving the needy was the acceptable fruit of repentance. As the results of practicing Diakonia (which has a meaning of ‘waiter’) with an NGO called KSSA(Korean Society for Service in Asia) and Korean churches, the local community loosened up their tension against the author and began to display hospitality and interests towards churches and the Gospel. The author even witnessed unbelievers and other religious leaders willingly cooperating with the mission. It is author’s strong belief that Diakonia, mission through community development, is a powerful yet effective tool to evangelize not only in Vietnam but in all around the world and that it can be a promising alternative to traditional way of mission in present time.
