Nowadays, remodeling cases for some apartment like Hyundai through the support of government are reported. Conventionally, balcony and aisle are extended for additional private area or balcony which is supported by new frame is extended. In extension work at site, dowel bar is conventionally inserted in old concrete slab for connection with old and new slab, however, an examination for structural safety is rarely performed prior to construction, if ever, vertical load is only considered for structural analysis. When conventionally connected structures are exposed to earthquake, the old and new structures have individual earthquake behavior with different mode, which may lead the elimination of resistance to earthquake in new structures. As of this reason, new detailing connection system which can have light weight and sufficient ductility performance is developed for application to domestic extension works. The purpose of this research is to develop a detailing connection system for joint members which are designed for additional extension work of plan, providing modified resistance to earthquake.

In everyday life, people continue to live with various physical interactions with the environment, such as walking, opening the door, drinking water, talking on the phone, and sitting down. Various studies on such interactions are being conducted. The physical interaction starts with contact, and interaction operations may be classified according to the contact portion of the person. Despite this importance, most studies have focused on interactive contact posture or behavioral induction, and studies on determining whether or not to contact a physical object have been lacking. To overcome this situation, we propose a method for detecting hand contact states where the most frequent contact occurs in physical interactions. The proposed method consists of a bidirectional LSTM based feature vector generation part and a contact detection part. In addition, the contact detection part has a learning structure in which the left and right hands are divided. We perform model learning using the collected motion data, and the test results of the learned model shows 93.9% accuracy.

The image as amedia has changed consistently since it was first introduced. According to these changes, the image has been reproduced in different fields and contexts. Thus, the paradigm on the production and the consumption of the image has been changed and recycled rapidly. The relation between the production and the consumption of the image also has changed accordingly, allowing quite ambiguous distinction between the producer and the consumer. The transformation through the transfer of the image among different fields opens up a new potential that these reproduced images could be used as an aesthetically expressive tool, rather than merely leaving images to remain royal to its original function as a sign. The thesis is to explore the potential that the topographical lines have beyond its function as a sign age. During the reproduction of the image, the process actively invites the spectator or the consumer to participate in the formation of the image, which promotes a new relation between the producer and the consumer. Instead, the process encourages the consumers to be active producers as well. As a result, the topographical lines do not merely remain as a sign that demarcates the height of the topography, and new images are constantly reproduced from the active participants. This project questions the fixed idea on the sign as a communicative tool, and suggests a new potential for the sign, especially, the topographical lines.
