        금속 및 섬유 선재 혼합을 이용한 선 표현법

        This is a study that suggests ways to eliminate the range of limited line shape, material and color expression and to enable the expression of various lines while maintaining the material properties of metal wires with elasticity and strength in using metal wire itself through the mixing of metal wire and fiber wire. The meaning of a material in molding is not a simple form of expression but a direct and positive means of expressing the inner side of the artist. In particular, a line of the molding elements is a means of expressing aesthetic elements by itself, and can draw rich expressions with minimum efforts. In metal molding, a wire rod is a material with its own elasticity and strength and plays a role not only to express the shape of the sculpture but also to maintain its shape. It is also a tool to express various flow lines by changing various shapes and texture of the line itself and I think that active experiment is valuable because the means of expression of molding work can be broadened by experimenting with wire material itself and other materials to give various line properties by combining the wire rod with other materials. Through iterative winding technique with a centrifugal force machine by selecting a thread, a material that can express freely due to its high adhesion on metal wire, this study presents the possibility of various shapes, textures and color expressions and also presents data of each experiment so that it can be utilized positively as a molding material through various experiments on it. Through the experiments, it was found that the joining of metal wire and fiber wire is an effective way of expressing various lines while maintaining the inherent properties of metal wire and it was also found that a method to extend wire freely and combine it in various directions through the extension method using cold joint without applying soldering or welding in joining processing of metal wire can be applied in various ways from ornaments to installation sculptures, so the method is very useful. Through this study to propose the practical application through various experiments on these materials, it is to provide a guideline for more various molding materials to those and students who are doing molding work. 본 연구는 금속 선재와 섬유 재료의 혼합을 통해 금속 선재 자체만으로 사용하는 데 있어 선의 형상, 재질 그리고 색 표현의 범위가 제한적이었던 부분을 해소하고 탄성과 강도를 가진 금속 선재의 재료적 특성을 유지하면서 다양한 선의 표현을 가능하게 할 수 있는 활용 방안을 제안하는 연구이다. 조형에 있어 재료가 가지는 의미는 단순한 형태 표현의 재료에 머무르는 것이 아니라 작가의 내면을 표출하는 직접적이고 적극적인 수단이 된다. 특히 조형 요소 중 선은 그 자체로 미적 요소를 나타내는 표현 수단으로 최소한의 노력으로 풍부한 표현을 이끌어 낼 수 있다. 금속조형에서 선재는 자체적 탄성과 강도를 가진 재료로 조형물의 외형과 형태를 유지하는 역할 뿐 아니라 선 자체의 다양한 형태와 재질감의 변화를 통해 다양한 흐름선을 표현하는 도구로 사용된다. 이러한 금속 선재를 타 재료와 접목한 다양한 선 표현 방법에 대한 실험은 조형의 표현 수단을 폭넓게 할 수 있기에, 이에 대한 적극적 실험은 그 가치가 있다고 생각한다. 본 연구는 굵기와 탄성이 다른 세 가지 금속 선재와 밀착성이 높아 세밀한 표현이 자유로운 재료인 실을 선택하여 원심운동을 이용한 반복감기 기법을 통해 다양한 형태, 질감 그리고 색 표현의 가능성을 확인하고, 이에 대한 각 실험의 결과를 정리하여 조형재료로 활용할 수 있도록 제시하고 있다. 이 실험을 통해 금속 선재와 타 재료인 실의 접목은 금속 선재의 자체적인 성질을 그대로 유지하면서 다양한 선을 표현하는데 효과적인 방법임을 확인 할 수 있었고, 또한 금속 선재의 접합가공에 있어 땜이나 용접 등의 방법을 적용하지 않고 콜드 조인트(cold joint)를 이용한 연장방법을 통해 가공된 선을 다양한 방식으로 장신구에서부터 설치 조형물까지 적용될 수 있기에 그 활용성이 매우 높다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 조형 재료에 대한 실질적 활용방안을 제안함으로써 조형 작업자와 후학들에게 조형재료와 기법에 대한 하나의 길라잡이 역할을 하고자 한다.

        웹기반 강좌 선택의 방해요인과 사전 경험 정도에 따른 영향 분석 : A Factor-Analytic Study

        웹기반 강좌는 이제 원격 교육의 새로운 형태로 발전하고 있다. 많은 원격 대학들이 기존 매체와 함께 혹은 단독으로 웹기반 강좌를 개설, 운영하고 있고, 최근 설립되는 원격대학들은 대부분의 강좌를 웹을 통하여 제공하고 있으며, 일반 대학에서도 웹기반 강좌를 도입하고 있다. 이러한 추세 속에서 논의되고 있는 중요한 주제 중의 하나가 원격 학습자들이 실제 웹기반 강좌를 선택하는 데 있어서 가질 수 있는 방해요인들에 관한 것이다. 본 연구에서는 웹기반 강좌의 선택 기회를 가졌던 원격 대학의 성인 학습자 412명을 대상으로 학습자가 인지하는 웹기반 강좌 선택의 기회를 감소시키는 방해요인을 밝혀내고, 학습자의 웹기반 강좌의 수강 경험 정도에 따른 방해요인의 차이를 탐색해보고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 학습자가 웹기반 강좌의 선택을 고려할 때 인식하는 주요한 방해요인으로 < 전자학습방식의 비선호> , < 정보공개 및 해킹에 대한 우려> , < 내용 및 운영상의 질에 대한 우려 > , < 상호작용 시 장애에 대한 우려> , < 관련 기술 부족> 등 5개의 요인이 도출되었고, 웹기반 강좌의 경험 정도에 따라 방해 요인의 정도에 대한 차이가 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. Web-based Instruction(WBI) as a communication and education medium has several advantages and much educational potential force in distance learning environment. In WBI, two-way asynchronous interactions and multimedia utilization can be integrated and encouraged in a self-directed and independent distance learning situation. WBI is now becoming an important mode of education both in conventional schools and distance teaching institutions. In many cases, it is not a supplementary method for face-to-face instruction any more. It is rather considered as a more advanced method of education. We observe changes in reasons for learners' selecting or participating in WBI over face-to-face instruction or conventional distance education which uses printed materials or broadcasting media. In the past, learners who could not attend on-campus schools chose distance education as an alternative. Nowadays, students who do not have any obstacles or barriers to go to on-campus schools tend to choose WBI. However, new barriers in participating in WBI are emerging. This study thus aims to examine perceived barriers of students to the selection of WBI and to identify differences in those barriers according to the level of students' experiences in prior participation in WBI. It is assumed in the study that those barriers would be different from those of the students who chose to select conventional distance learning mode. The barriers identified through this study will help educators in general or designers of WBI in particular develop and implement learner-centered web-based learning environment. A survey instrument, either in printed or electronic format, was provided to 412 respondents who had an opportunity to choose a mode of learning either from web-based or conventional prints and broadcasting media-based. 211 responses were included in the final analysis of the study. Through a factor analysis, five barriers to students' participation in WBI are identified. The most influential barrier is found to be "Non-preference of Electronic Learning Mode". The least influential barrier is found to be "Lack of Technical Skills". The other three factors include "Concerns about the Quality of Course Contents and Design", "Concerns about Obstacles of Interactive Communications", and "Concerns about Disclose of Personal Opinions and Hacking". It is also found that barriers to the participation in WBI are different depending on the levels of students' prior experiences with WBI. Students who had more experiences with WBI show less concerns for technical skills and obstacles of interactive communications. The findings of this study indicate that web technology itself is not a critical barrier to the participation in WBI and proper design of web-based learning environment is more important in helping students participate in WBI with confidence. However, further studies are needed to elaborate more detailed barriers to the selection of and participation in WBI.

        대학교육에서의 공공언어 인식과 함양 필요성 따른 조명

        In this article, based on the definition of public language, as a producer of public language, We try to discuss the need and awareness of public language as education in liberal arts education for university [college] students. The starting point of this recognition is that public language education and learning during university [college], which is a transitional period for entering the real world, will be practical and useful enough to apply when entering society. In the survey on the period of public language education to public officials, who are representative public language speakers, they picked university [college] days as the first. Considering that 74.6% of those who have had less than one year of work experience in public institutions account for this, the need for public language that they directly felt in society can be seen as a more urgent education. Public language emphasizes the importance of communication and suggests 'publicity, informationality, and ease'. Publicity presents the conditions that producers of public language must abide by. This is to use dignified language in a changing society. In addition, it is to refrain from authoritative, high-pressure and discriminatory expressions, and to grant smooth communication with the people. This allows information to be presented ‘using easy and familiar terms and tone’ so that a large number of people can share it. The communicativeness of this public language, if implemented in a specialized or advanced course of Korean language education in university education, will help to be utilized as the most necessary and smooth communication tool in society.

      • 고분자속의 액정에 대한 상분리 특성

        Polymer dispersed liquid crystals (PDLCs) are new optoelectonic materials which have many applications. There are three kinds of methods for fabrication of PDLCs. In this report, the samples were made by using thermally induced phase separation method, and the phase separation characteristics were measured by a polarization microscope and a suitable setup of optical instruments. We used mixtures of 5CB and PMMA or PVFM etc. The phase separation phenomena depending on the various temperature cooling rates were observed by polarization microscope, and the appropriate optical setup was designed for the quantitative analysis. The phase separation temperature for the weight percent of 90% of 5CB was measured in the high temperature of about 100℃.
