This thesis aims at analysing on the potentiality of Korea-PRC trade and Gunsan Port, especially centering on establishing Industrial Basis of Gunsan city Recently. the Communist China revised its closed policy that he had pursuered for long years and at last tied up with Free World for cooperation. Since it opened the door, he has had trade relations with many countries. The Red China is giving economic ties with U.S.A, Japan and the other Free Countries to which Korea terms has preponderance. Howeuer, these new trading factors must must be carefully studied before dirct trade for the over-all indirect trade between both countries. So that, Guwnsan Port is very important position because it is very near to China in the means of its geopolitics. Historically, The Guumsan Port has been developled with rice export to Japan and its industrial commodities imports from her since the open of the port in 1899, although the japanese withdrawed from here in 1945. Korea's facing trade policy problems are that Gunsan Port can be developed by the rationalization and efficiency of its functions through the modernization of the port, furthermore, it is presented as a very important task for the balanced development of export and import and import in the national economy or in this regional development of the Chunbook Province. In order to solve these important problems steadily, the following purposes to be analyzed are set up. (1) The Gunsan Port's specialization as an international trade port must be enough analyzed with emprical survey of trade relation by which is made the changes in structure of export and import and in trading pattern being performed by economic growth. (2) The Gunsan Port as a strategical trade port must be aims at analyzing verious factors of the export of industrial commodities by calculating productivities and patterns standing to each industrialization in this regional development. (3) The Gunsan Port as an export port must be attempted to has played the most important port in the foreign sector The important role of the Gunsan Port has proven in this thesis by historical research materials including field servey and experimental datas. Since 1960(??) woods has emerged as the main products of export in the Gunsan Port. To constructing the new port and the Industrial Estates are to enhance very good chance the development of the port in recently. At that time, Korea and Red china's trading potentiality must be carefully looked before direct trade for the indirect trade between both countries efficiently, the following methods to be studied are erected. (1) Indirect trade of Korea and PRC must be activated to make a cooperative environment through the trade relation of U.S.A, Japan and the Red China. (2) Our cooperatiion with foreign multinational enterprise can be presented to make joint corperation and to give inderstrial local foundation. (3) Indirect trade of both countries must be enhanced by joint company in Hongkong and Singapore. (4) Indirect trading patterns must be tried by the Chinese brethren residing in abroad (5) Indirect trading methods must be induced by the Korean brethren residing in abroad. (6) Indirect negotiation must be attepted through the foreign enterprise in Korea. (7) Indirect export must be increased through the foreign brokers in abroad.

Marine transportation is very important not only in economic function but also in enhancing the national glory. It contributes to the facilitation of the international trade, stable supply of the important raw materials and improvement of the internati-onal revenue and expenditure. It also has been a means of helping to keep the role of the national defence in operation during an emergency situation since proclaiming the British Navigation Acts. For that reason, almost every country today enforces many supporting policies for the development of the shipping industry. Especially, Korea is surrounded by the sea on the three sides and blocked by the cease-fire line on the North, therefore We have no choice but to depend on shipping for foreign trade. After the 1960's the result of successful performance of the export-drive policy in Korean economy called for increase in import and export quantity, so the role of shipping as a means of transportation has been more empohasized in Korean ecomony to transport the rapidly increasing export goods efficiently. This thesis aims at drawing some possible new methods for strengthening the intern-ational competitive power of Korean shipping industry through analizing the present status quo and examining the present problems of Korean shipping industry. To strengthen the international competitive power of the shipping industry, the foll-owing methods should be discussed; 1) Expanding tonnage 2) Balanced development of shipping and shipbuilding 3) Establishment of the special financial agency for shipping promotion 4) Exempting from taxation 5) specialization and containerization of ocean going ships 6) Expanding and modernizing the harbors 7) strengthening the discrimitive policy of the flag 8) Expanding the sea routes 9) Training and education of seamen

한국 IT 벤처산업의 해외진출 확대방안에 관한 연구

한국의 IT벤처산업은 1990년대 이래 신속한 발전을 하면서 국민경제에 중요한 역할을 해왔다. 아이디어와 기술에 근거한 IT산업은 부존자원이 부족한 한국과 같은 나라에서는 적극 지원할 만 한 미래지향적인 산업이다. 한국의IT산업은 좁은 국내시장의 성장한계성으로 인하여 해외시장으로 진출이 확대되어질 수밖에 없는 과정에서 마케팅과 자금 면에서 많은 애로를 겪고 있으므로 정부 측에서 해외시장진입장벽을 극복하려는 IT 벤처기업의 노력을 적극 지원해야 할 것이다. 이런 관점에서 본 연구는 해외의 IT산업의 현황과 장래 시장전개를 개관하고 그에 의해 해외 시장으로의 효과적인 침투방안을 제시하고 있다. The Korean IT venture industry has grown rapidly and played an important role in the national economy since the 1990's. The IT industry based on idea and technology is future-oriented one worth supporting positively in such a country as Korea which is lacking in survival resources. The Korean IT industry, with the growth limit in the narrow domestic market, should be extended to overseas market. However, it has so many troubles in marketing and finance that from the government side, the active assistance for the IT venture firm's efforts to overcome the overseas market entry barriers is required. In this viewpoint, this study aims to overview the current situation and future market evolution of the IT industry abroad, thereby suggest its effective penetration into overseas market.

중국은 1980년대에 외부세계에 문호를 개방하고 개혁을 추구한 이래 엄청난 경제발전을 이루었다. 그러나 중국 동부에 집중된 투자는 동서부간에 극심한 경제 불균형을 초래하였다. 따라서 중국 정부는 지역 불균형을 좁히려는데 목적을 둔 서부 대 개발전략이라는 거대한 프로젝트를 내놓았다. 서부지역은 중국 영토의 71.4%를 차지하고 국가자원의 60%이상을 점유하고 있다. 그러므로 중국정부는 중국서부의 인프라 구축과 경제개발을 위해 외국투자가들에게 각종 인센티브와 세금혜택을 제공하고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 그 지역에 대한 투자에는 많은 장애가 상존하고 있다. 즉, 비능률적인 행정은 공무의 진행을 더 복잡하게 하고 숙련 노동자와 고품질의 인력자원은 극히 부족한 실정이다. 또한 도로와 철도를 포함한 수송체계는 아직도 열악한 상태에 있다. 따라서 중국 정부는 늘어나는 외국투자를 유치하기 위하여 현재의 열악한 경영환경을 개선하여야 한다. 한국기업이 그곳에 진출하기 위해서는 그 지역에 대한 철저한 연구를 하고 장기적인 전망으로 구체적인 계획을 수립할 필요가 있다. China has achieved enormous progress in economy since it opened its door to the outside world and pursued reforms in the 1980s. However, Investment centered on the Eastern part of China caused a severe economic disparity between East and West. Accordingly. the Chinese government launched a huge project named the Great Western Development Strategy aimed at narrowing the regional disparity. Western area comprises 71,4% of the Chinese territory and holds over 60% of its national resources. So the Chinese government offers a variety of incentives and tax benefits to foreign investors for the establishment of infrastructure and economic development in west China. Nonetheless, a lot of obstructions to investment in the area still remain. That is, Inefficient administration makes the processes in public offices more complicated, skilled workers and high quality human resources are short in number and transportation systems including roads and railways are still in weak state. Therefore, the Chinese government should improve the current poor business environment to attract increased foreign investment . For Korean firms to make way there, they need to conduct in-depth research in the area and set up concrete plans with a long term prospect.
