Backgrounds: Singihwan is used “to strengthen inborn energy” and we suspected a protective effect on brain neuron cells. Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of Singihwan (SGH) on traumatic brain injury-induced delayed apoptosis in rat hippocampal dentate gyrus. Methods: For a surgical induction of traumatic brain injury (TBI), a 5 mm diameter stainless rod was used to make traumatic attack from the surface of the brain used by an impactor. The protective effect of the aqueous extract of SGH against TBI in the rat hippocampal dentate gyrus was investigated by using step-down avoidance task, terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT)-mediated dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL) assay, Bax immunohistochemistry, and 5-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine (BrdU) immunohistochemistry. Results: The aqueous extract of SGH suppressed the TBI-induced increase in apoptosis and cell proliferation in the hippocampal dentate gyrus. Conclusions: It is possible that the aqueous extract of SGH has a neuroprotective effect on TBI-induced neuronal cell death. 퇴직금, 퇴직연금이 재산분할의 대상이 되는지 여부 -서울가정법원 2011. 8. 25. 선고 2010드합10979, 10986판결 : 확정-

Even though almost 20 years have passed since the division of property was adopted, there is still on-going much debate whether the pension should be the object of claim for division of property. The Korean Supreme Court does not admit that pension should be the object of division of property because the pension is not yet materialized when the claimant and the claimee divorce. On the other hand,the importance of pensionable right is growing rapidly, as it is an effective way to provide for old ages in recession and lengthened lifespan. It is obvious that the pension must be the object of division as following the dominant principle that the property which was enriched during the marriage should be divided. If the pension is ruled out of division claim, we will encounter to unjust conclusion that only the claimee would enjoy rich old life whereas the claimant lives a life of distress. This would be significant especially in the case that the pension is the only property. Nevertheless, The Korean Supreme Court used to rule out the pension from the object of division of property even in the case that the claimee started to receive the pension. The district court’s decision, the subject of this research, ruled that pension should be the object of division of property. This case is noticeable because this decision is the first decision which included the receiving the pension in the object of division of property by showing the enthusiastic attitude to get rid of unjust conclusion we have discussed above. Although it is only district court’s decision, it seems that it would be good precedent case to show how we should approach to pension as the object of division in similar cases. 이혼 시 퇴직연금이 재산분할의 대상이 되는지에 관하여는 재산분할제도가 도입된 지 20년이 지났음에도 아직 논의의 여지가 많다. 법원에서는 전통적으로 장래 지급받을 퇴직연금은 이혼 당시 그 재산적 가치가 현재화되지 못하여 불확실하다는 이유로 재산분할 대상성을 인정하지 않고 있다. 반면에, 경기불황의 장기화와 인구고령화가 가속화됨에 따라 연금수급권은 중요한 노후대책의 하나로 자리매김하고 있다. 부부가 혼인 중에 공동으로 이룩한 재산은 적절하게 청산되어야 하므로 부부가 공동으로 형성한 재산인 퇴직연금 또한 재산분할의 대상이 되어야 하는 것은 당연하다. 연금수급권을 재산분할 대상에서 제외하면, 특히 퇴직연금 외 별다른 재산이 없는 경우에 이혼 후 일방 당사자는 경제적 여유를 누리는 데 반하여 다른 일방은 궁핍한 생활을 면치 못하는 불합리한 결과를 초래한다. 그런데도 대법원이 이미 수령이 개시된 퇴직연금조차 분할대상성을 부정한 것에 대하여는 비판적인 지적이 있어 왔다. 대상판결은 대법원 판결과 같은 사례에서 장래 지급받을 퇴직연금의 재산분할 대상성을 인정하고 종신까지 분할지급을 명하였다. 이는 지급이 개시된 미수령 퇴직연금의 분할대상성을 인정한 우리나라 최초의 판결이라는 점에서 그 의의가 자못 크고, 퇴직연금의 분할대상성을 부정함에서 비롯되는 이혼 당사자 사이의 불합리한 결과를 제거하는데 법원이 적극적인 자세를 보였다는 점에서 높이 평가할 수 있다. 나아가 하급심 판결이기는 하지만 다른 판결의 선례가 될 것으로 믿는다.

Objectives: The aim of this study is to investigate chiropractic spinal manipulation and internal diseases in articles. Methods: It was investigated how many articles had been searched for spinal manipulation applied to internal disease in Pubmed Database Results: 1. There are 19 articles of chiropractic spinal manipulation and internal diseases were investigated. 2. It was reported that there are improvements of spinal manipulative therapy on asthma, injury of the optic nerve, hypertension, vertigo, tinnitus, hearing loss, etc. Conclusions: There are several reports on effectiveness of spinal manipulative therapy on asthma, injury of the optic nerve, hypertension, vertigo, tinnitus, hearing loss, etc. And It is considered that spinal manipulative therapy shows improvement on the internal diseases.

웨이브렛 변환과 사면체 분할을 이용한 볼륨 데이저 모델링

Volume data modeling is concerned with finding a mathematical function which represents the relationship implied by the 3D data. Modeling a volume data geometrically can visualize a volume data using surface graphic without voxelization. It has many merits in that it is fast and requires little memory. We proposes, a method based on wavelet transformation and tetrahedrization. We implemented a prototype system based on the proposed method. Last, we evaluated the proposed method comparing it with marching cube algorithm. The evaluation results show that though the proposed method uses only 13% of the volume data, the images generated is as good as the images generated by the marching cubes algorithm.
