The data of 9 oceanographic stations in the coastal sea of Samyang area are compiled in terms COD, BOD, silicate, nitrate and phasphate to analyze the chemical characteristics in this region. This work was carried out from Feburary to November, 1983. The highest values of COD and BOD appeared in August as compared to relatively Iow values in the examined period except August. The highest values were 4ppm in COD. which was over the legal environment standard value. and 7ppm in BOD, respectively. The high concentration of silicate were 10~20㎍-at/ℓ from the surface waters of Samyang and Shinchon. The lowest and highest concentration of nitrates were measured in June (0.5~1.5 ㎍-at/ℓ) and November (4.0~8.0㎍-at/ℓ). The concentrations of phosphates appeared relatively even distribution in the seasonal variation, but a core containing high concentration of phosphates was found from 10~20m layer in depth in April and June.
The purpose of this study is to survey of dress and personal adornments of young Korean people from 1980 to 1992. This study is applied of the thoughts of culture of B. Malinowski and related to social and cultural background. The materials of clothes have had higher quality and the colors varied. And sports were has popularized even for a daywear as people have concerned of the health a lot. Big look and unisex mode in casual wear have been also popular, Underwears and jeans became fashionable. Pants and skirts have been getting shorter and they reached to the mini length. And reformed-Korean traditional clothes has developed. Ecology has been appeared as a whole in fashion. The dress and personal adornments gave satisfaction to modern people who pursuit of healthy and convenience of life and want to creat the individuality and intend to develop of traditional culture and want to express themselves as perfection of self. As shown above, the dress and personal adornments are an element of culture which is the reflection of the social phenomenon. It is a instrumental reality that satisfied with the needs of social members.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between clothing values and factors of clothing selection. The obtained data of 325 randomly selected college women in Taejeon city showed following results. (1) Aesthetic clothing value was positively related to the individuality of clothing. (2) Sensory clothing value was positively related to the practicality of clothing. (3) No correlation was found between economic clothing value and the economy of clothing. (4) Religious clothing value was postively related to the modesty of clothing. (5) Social clothing value was positively related to the conformity of clothing. (6) Freshmen were higher interest in the practicality and modesty of clothing while seniors were higher interest in the economy of clothing. (7) The group of nonhome economics course was higher interest in the practicality and modesty of clothing than the group of home economics course.
The Photocatalytic activity was investigated with the increase of flow rate in a UV/TiO2 packed-bed system. The rate of phenol degradation over UV/TiO2 (dia.=5 mm) was increased up to 300 mL/min and reached a plateau beyond 400 mL/min. The bead photocatalysts did not exhibit a distinct difference of the phenol degradation rate irrespective of corrosion rates of glass beads and TiO2 coating amounts. Degussa P25 exhibited a higher photocatalytic activity in comparison to other TiO2 sols (Ishihara & N). The performance (activity and durability) of UV/TiO2 packed-bed system can be enhanced by the use of TiO2-coated glass beads instead of granular types that is easily attrited by the shearing force of flowing fluids. 입상형/비드형(직경=5 mm) 광촉매가 충진된 고정상 반응기에서 유량별 광산화 반응속도를 고찰한 결과 유량이 400 mL/min 이상에서 페놀의 분해속도가 더 이상 증가하지 않았다. 비드형 광촉매의 경우에는 부식율과 코팅량의 증가에 따른 뚜렷한 광산화 반응속도의 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 광촉매의 종류별 페놀의 분해능을 비교한 결과 Degussa P25가 STS-02(Ishihaha사)와 TiO2(N사)에 비해 높은 광산화 활성을 나타내 주었다. 유체의 전단력에 의한 표면의 마모가 쉽게 일어날 수 있는 입상형 광촉매보다 TiO2가 코팅된 비드형 광촉매를 사용함으로써 광촉매 활성을 오래 동안 유지할 수 있는 광산화 시스템의 개발이 가능하다.
