공간 연산자 중 위상 연산자는 공간 객체의 위상 관계를 구하는 연산자이다. 이러한 위상 연산자를 설계하기 위해서는 위상 관계에 대한 정의가 선행되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 위상 결정 트리를 수정해서 위상 관계를 보다 세분화하여 정의한다. 또한 다양한 위상 연산자를 지원하기 위해 질의 유형에 따라 위상 연산자를 세가지 유형으로 구분하여 설계한다.
드레인 정규화 감지회로를 이용한 차동 PLL 설계 및 차동 공정보상기법

본 논문은 공정변화를 검출하여 회로에 반영 및 보상하는 드레인 정규화 검출 (regulated drain detection) 방식과 차동 VCO에 적용하는 기법을 제안하였으며, 제안된 방식과 기법을 검증하기 위하여 저 전압 차동 PLL을 제작하여 그 성능을 검증하였다. 제안된 드레인 정규화 검출 방식과 이를 차동적으로 응용하여 설계된 저-지터 차동 PLL은 실제로 $0.18{\mu}m$ 1-폴리 3-메탈 공정으로 제작되었으며 공정변화에 따른 여러 가지 공정 코너 (corner)에 대한 VCO의 동작을 다양한 모의실험을 통하여 검증하였다. 제작된 PLL은 80MHz - 240MHz의 동작범위를 가지며 전체 die size는 내부 루르필터를 포함하여 $330{\mu}m\;{\times}\;380{\mu}m$이다. 1.8V 공급전압 일때 모든 동작주파수에 대한 트랙킹 지터 특성은 150psec peak-to-peak 이하로 안정적인 성능을 보였다. A process variation compensation method called 'regulated drain detection' is proposed. This paper also shows the how this newly invented method is applied to a typical differential PLL. The proposed RDD(regulated drain detection) and its PLL application has been designed and tested in a $0.18{\mu}m$ 1-poly 3-metal plain digital process so that its stable performance and higher yield can be proven. The implemented PLL aimed to the operation range of 80MHz - 240MHz and the total die size is only $0.18{\mu}m$ including the internal loop filter. The tracking jitter characteristics is measured to less than 150 peak-to-peak under l.8V supply rail.
PRML신호용 고성능 Viterbi Decoder의 병렬구조

In this paper, we applied new analog viterbi decoder to decode PR(1,2,2,1) signal for DVD and analyze the specific and signal characteristics. We implemented the parallel analog viterbi decoder and the convolution digital viterbi decoder(the digital PRML) utilizing the technology of analog parallel processing circuits. The proposed analog viterbi decoder can replace the conventional digital viterbi decoder by a new one. Our circuits design the low distortion and the high accuracy over the previous implementation. Through the parallel structure of the proposed viterbi decoder, we got the achievement of the decoding speed by the multiple times.
Self-biased Super MOS 복합회로를 응용한 공정검출회로

A new process detection circuit is proposed. The proposed process detection circuit compares a long channel MOS TR (L > 0.4um) to a short channel MOS TR which uses lowest feature size of the process. The circuit generates the differential current proportional to the deviation of carrier mobilities according to the process variation. This method keep the two TR's drain voltage same by implementing the feedback using a high gain OPAMP. This paper also shows the new design of the simple high gain self-biased rail-to-rail OPAMP using a proposed self-biased super MOS composite circuit. The gain of designed OPAMP is measured over 100dB with 0.2~1.6V wide range CMR in single stage. Finally, the proposed process detection circuit is applied to a differential VCO. The VCO showed that the proposed process detection circuit compensates the process corners successfully and ensures the wide rage operation.
결명자 추출물의 난알부민 감작으로 천식이 유발된 마우스에서의 개선 효과

Objectives : In this study, we investigated the effect of Cassia obtusifolia Linne (Cassiae Semen; CS) extract on ovalbumin (OVA)-induced allergic asthma in mice. Methods : CR was extracted with 70% ethanol. For in vitro study, HMC-1, human mast cells were treated with CS extract at 0.2 and 0.5 ㎎/㎖for 1 h, and then stimulated with compound (C) 48/80 for 30 min. Primary spleenocytes were isolated from the spleen of mice, treated with CS extract for 1 h, and then stimulated with ConA for 24 h. For in vivo study, mice were sensitized at day 0, 7 and 14 with 0.2% OVA and then airway challenged using neublizer at day 21, 23, 25, and 27 to induced allergic asthma. CS extract at doses of 100 and 300 mg/kg body weight was orally administered during OVA challenge once per a day. The levels of allergic mediators such as histamine, OVA-specific IgE, IL-4, and IFN-γ were measured in the sera of mice or culture supernatants by EIA and ELISA, respectively. The expression of IL-4 and IFN-γ gene was determined by RT-PCR. The histopathological change of lung tissues was observed with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) and Periodic acid Schiff (PAS) staining. Results : The treatment of CS extract in HMC-1 cells significantly inhibited C48/80-induced degranulation, and histamine release. The treatment of CS extract in spleenocytes suppressed the expression of IL-4 and IFN-γ mRNA. The administration of CS extract in OVA-induced asthmatic mice significantly decreased the levels of OVA-specific IgE, and IL-4 in a dose-dependent manner with OVA-control group. In addition, CS extract inhibited the infiltration of inflammatory cells and bronchiolar damage with epithelial thickening in lung tissues of OVA-induced asthma mice, and also mucin accumulation. Conclusions : These results indicate that CS extract prevents asthmatic damage through regulating the allergic immune response.
