Halogeno Benzothiazolyl Sulfonamide 誘導體의 合成과 抗菌作用에 關한 硏究

Four benzothiazolyl sulfonamide derivatives have been newly synthesized by reacting 2-aminobenzothiazole or 2-amino-6-halogenobenzothiazole with acetamidobenzenesulfonylchloride, respectively. The structures of these compounds were determined by the elementary analysis, melting point and IR spectrophotometry. These compounds exhibited antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli in concentration of 100㎍/ml, showing stronger activity against Staphylococcus aureus(Gram positive)than that against Escherichia coli (Gram negative). The difference in the antibacterial activity according to the substituted group(chloro, bromo, fluoro) was also noted. The chloro substituted compound exhibited more potent growth-inhibitory activity against above two strains than any other compound.

The insecticidal activity of six lately synthesized carbamate derivatives of furfural oxime N-methylcarbamate (I), 5-methyljural oxime N-methylcarbamate(II), methyl p-(methylcarbamoyl) oxybenzoate (IV), ethyl p-(methylcarbamoyl) oxybenzoat(V), n-propyl p-(methyl carbamoyl)oxybenzoate(VI)and n-butyl p-(methyl carbamoyl)oxybenzoate (VII) and of benz(e)-N-methyl-1,3-oxazadihydroine-2,4-dione(III) was examined using 0.2w/v% acetone solutions of each compound. Among them, alkyl p-(methyl carbamoyl) oxybenzoates exerted slightly insecticidal effects on Sogata furcifera HORVATH, Delphacodes stria striatella FALLEN, whereas no significant effects were observed on Nilaparvata Iugens STAL, Inazuma dorsalis MOISCHIULSKY, and Nephotettix apicalis cincticeps UHLER.
N-6-Halo-2-benzothiazolyl-N'-(o, p, m)-chlorophenylurea類의 合成과 그 抗菌力에 關한 硏究

Eight kinds of N-6-Halo-2-bensothiagolyl-N'-(o, m, p)-chlorophenyl ureas have been newly synthesized. All of these urea derivatives exhibited weak antibacterial activities on Staphylo-coccus αureus APPC 65389, Sarcina luteα APCC 9341 (Gram positive bacteria) at the concentration of 250-500㎍/㎖ in general. On the other hand, most of these urea derivatives except compound Ⅷ exhibited strong antibacterial activity on Escherichia coli APCC 25922, Shigella flexneri NIH, Salmonella typhi H 901 (Gram negative bacteria) at concentration of 100-250㎍/㎖. Especially, strong antibacterial activity was observed on compounds Ⅱ and Ⅳ.

Most offshore structures including offshore wind turbines and ships, etc. suffer from the impulsive pressure loads in rough waves. Effects of elasticity on such slamming loads are investigated through results from free drop tests of several wedges which is made of steel. The cumulative deformation by consecutive free drops from 1,500mm in height is measured in the water tank.
Cholinesterase活性에 미치는 Carbamate化合物의 影響

Four kinds of alkyl p-(methylcarbamoyl) oxybenzoates, and carbamates of furfural oxime and 5-methylfurfural oxime have been newly synthesized. In addition, when alkyl or aryl salicylate instead of alkyl p-hydroxybenzbenzoates reacted with isocyanate, benz(e)-N-methyl-1, 3-oxazadihydroine-2, 4-dione, a heterocyclic compound, was obtained probably due to decomposition of the unstable N-methyl-carbamoyl salicylates followed by ring formation of the residual side chains. In vitro test, cholinesterase activity was inhibited in serum by furfural oxime N-methylc-arbamate, 5-methylfurfural oxime N-methylcarbamate and bonz(e)-N-methyl-1, 3-oxazadihy-droine-2, 4-dione at the concetration of 1.7×10-4 mg/ml but methyl, ethyl, n-propyl and n-butyl p-(methylcarbamoyl) oxybenzoate does not inhibit cholinesterase activity in serum. On the other hand, brain and liver cholinesterase activity was not effected on the carbamate derivatives.
