Objectives : This case study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of Complex Korean Medicine Treatment on cervical dystonia. Methods : Complex Korean medicine treatments were conducted on patients with cervical dystonia. To measure and follow up the degree of cervical rotation and side bending malposition, we analyzed X-ray images filmed at the Atlas open mouth view and C-spine AP view every 2 weeks. Range of motion test was conducted every week to evaluate the functional level of cervical spine. Moreover, outcome estimates were performed using the Tsui rating score, numeric rating scale, and pain disability index. Results : After complex treatment, the degree of cervical rotation and right lateral flexion malposition improved. Pain on cervical spine decreased and functional activities of daily living improved. Conclusions : Our study reveals that Complex Korean Medicine Treatment may improve cervical dystonia. In the future, research with a high level of evidence should be conducted to confirm the effectiveness of chuna manual therapy and Korean Medicine Treatment. Our study is expected to be a theorical and clinical background.

본 연구는 이질적인 속성을 가진 학문분야들을 통합하여 하나의 교육과정으로 운영하는 프로젝트 중심 교육과정 에 대한 운영 방안을 제안하고 있다. 통합교과의 의미는 게임 현장에서처럼 게임 기획, 프로그램, 그래픽과 같은 이 질적인 분야의 학습자들을 대상으로 실제적인 하나의 결과물을 만들어낼 수 있도록 하는 것을 의미한다. 본 연구에 서 제시되는 프로젝트 중심의 교육과정에 대한 운영방안은 국내에서 2008년도부터 A 교육기관에서 진행해온 게임 프로젝트 교육과정을 토대로 실증 및 분석을 하였다. 본 연구의 결과로는 통합교과를 기반으로 하는 프로젝트 교육 과정에 대한 운영 방안의 기준을 제시하고 있으며, 크게 두 가지 형태로 내용을 분류하여 구성하고 있다. 첫 번째는 학생들이 교육과정을 통해 “책임감” 및 “협업 능력”과 같이 학습되어지는 내용들에 대한 부분들을 정리하고 있으며, 두 번째로는 성공적인 프로젝트 교육과정을 운영하기 위해 단계별로 진행되는 팀 구성, 프로젝트 계획, 팀 운영 및 협업, 중간 및 기말 발표, 그리고 평가 부분에 대한 운영 방법론을 제시하고 있다. 이러한 제안된 운영방안이 통합 교과로서의 프로젝트 교육과정을 운영하는데 있어서 하나의 밑거름 및 가이드라인이 될 것으로 기대한다. The purpose of this study is to suggest an curriculum model of teaching scheme which performs team project learning based on Integrated project with different fields. To address this goal, the present study suggests a practical game project model under the same game-making circumstances as game industry by consisting of real case of convergence parts( game graphic, game design, game program). This project-based learning case has been conducting Integrated project education since 2008 in A educational Institute in Korea. The results of study suggest a standard of Integrated-based curriculum model and it is constructed with two parts. The first part is what students learned during project processing, such as responsibility, communication. The other part is how to construct the educational environment for integrated project. It explains how to organize and build teams, plan of integrated project, rule the role of team task, perform collaborative task, present interim/final presentation, evaluate grade. This study is expected to be utilized as a framework for the instructional design and the guideline for improving learner competency in team project learning.

The entrance of influenza virus into host cells is facili-tated by the attachment of the globular region of viral hemagglutinin to the sialic acid receptors on host cell surfaces. In this study, we have cloned the cDNA fragment encoding the entire globular region (residues 101-257) of hemagglutinin of the H9N2 type avian influenza virus (A/ck/Korea/ ms96/96). The protein segment (denoted as the H9 peptide), which was expressed and purified in E. coli, was used for the immunization of BALB/c mice to obtain the anti-H9 antiserum. To identify specific DNA aptamers with high affinity to H9 peptide, we conducted the SELEX method; 19 aptamers were newly isolated. A random mixture of these aptamers showed an increased level of binding affinity to the H9 peptide. The sequence alignment analysis of these aptamers revealed that 6 aptamers have highly conserved consensus sequences. Among these, aptamer C7 showed the highest similarity to the consensus sequences. Therefore, based on the C7 aptamer, we synthesized a new modified aptamer designated as C7-35M. This new aptamer showed strong binding capability to the viral particles. Furthermore, it could prevent MDCK cells from viral infection by strong binding to the viral particles. These results suggest that our aptamers can recognize the hemagglutinin protein of avian influenza virus and inhibit the binding of the virus to target receptors required for the penetration of host cells.
