「廣開土王碑文」과 <宋書>로 본 倭의 加耶認識과 ‘任那日本府’
남재우 부경역사연구소 2014 지역과 역사 Vol.- No.35
I have researched on the relationship between ancient Japan and Gaya and relation between Allagaya and Imnailbonbu by examining extracts from epitaph of king Gwanggaeto of Goguryeo and annals of Song dynasty of china especially relating to ancient Japanese kingdom. The theory of Imnailbonbu has been brought up by japanese scholars based on a paragraph of a year of Sinmyo(391AD) inscribed in the monument of Gwanggaeto and chinese officiary title names of ancient japanese five kings written in the annals’s of Song China. However, these bases could not be enough to support the theory. In three kingdoms period of korean peninsula, japanese kingdoms, called Wae, had tried to fight with Goguryeo and Silla and get officiary tittles of chinese Song dynasty to embrace advanced technologies via Gaya. In this process, Japan prefered Gaya than weakened Baekjae. So, they attacked Silla, located in border region of Gaya, who always tried to unify Gaya region to protect their gates to get advanced culture. There were two reason that Wae’s five rulers were eager to get political tittles of Song dynasty of china. Their utmost purpose was to put Goguryeo in check by relationship with china. Second purpose was to handle the domestic unrests through advanced foreign civilization accepted by “tributary trade”. Moreover, they included names of countries in the southern part of korean peninsula to their officiary tittles to unify domestic power at an one point. As a result, the truth of Imnailbonbu was a party of japanese envoys in Allagaya who had been dispatched to korean peninsula to adopt advanced civilizations of korea and China.
