경험적 법률가 연구의 발전을 위하여 - 이호선의 「법과 정책연구」 글에 대한 검토와 제언

이 글은 이호선 교수가 < 법과 정책연구 > 제15집 제4호에 게재한 "한국 로스쿨 체제, 과연 사법시험의 대안인가?"라는 글을 비판적으로 검토한다. 첫째, 이호선의 글은 연구목적이 불분명하며, 연구문제가 부재하며, 결론을 정당화하기 위한 방법과 결과가 충분하지 않은 등 경험적 학술논문으로서의 기본요건을 갖추지 못하고 있다. 특히 이호선의 글을 선의로 해석해서 이재협 등의 연구에 대한 재현연구를 시도한 것으로 보더라도 연구의 재현성 여부를 평가할 수 있는 필수적인 방법론을 제시하지 않고 있으며, 재현연구가 갖추어야 할 최소한의 방법론적 기초를 구비하지 않고 있다. 둘째, 이호선의 글은 표집이론, 모집단, 표집틀 등 사회과학적 표본조사 연구에 사용되는 기본적인 개념을 혼동하고 있으며, 모집단과 표본 간의 상위성에 대해 오해를 보인다. 셋째, 이호선의 글에는 이재협 등의 연구에 대한 해석적 오해를 담고 있다. 특히 사법연수원 출신 법률가와 로스쿨 졸업 법률가 간 가구소득의 차이를 비교함에 있어서 비교시점을 상이하게 설정하는 등 오류를 범한다. 결론적으로 이 글은 법학교육제도와 법률직역의 구조가 급격히 변화하고 있는 상황에서 경험적 자료축적을 통한 실증연구가 필요함을 주장하며, 향후 법학과 인접학문이 공동연구를 활성화해야 함을 제안한다. This article critically reviews the paper written by Professor Lee Ho-Sun, "Korean Law School System, Is it really an alternative to Judicial Exam?", which was published in the Law and Policy Review, Vol. 15, Nov. 4. First, Lee Ho-Sun``s paper lacks basic requirements for an empirical scholarly article: (1) the research purpose is unclear, (2) the research questions are not provided, and (3) the methods and outcomes do not sufficiently support conclusions. Even if Lee Ho-Sun``s paper can be regarded as a replication study of Jae-Hyup Lee et. al.``s research, it does not provide necessary methods to assess its replicability. In addition, the paper is not equipped with minimum methodological foundations. Second, Lee Ho-Sun``s paper confuses basic concepts in social scientific sampling studies (e.g., sampling theory, population, sampling frame), and does not correctly interpret the difference between parameters and statistics. Third, Lee Ho-Sun``s paper contains many interpretive misunderstandings of Jae-Hyup Lee et. al.``s research. For example, in interpreting the household income differences between the graduates of the Judicial Research and Training Institute and the graduates of law schools, Lee Ho-Sun sets a different time frame than that used in Jae-Hyup Lee``s research. This article advocates that more empirical studies are needed to adequately assess the rapid changes in the legal educational system and the structure of the legal profession in Korea, and to that end, that more interdisciplinary research collaboration is necessary.

2016년 3월 31일부터 7월 31일까지 서울특별시 서초구 서초동에 위치한 서울고등학교 교정 일대를 서울고등학교 환경생물부 부원들이 채집 조사한 결과 20과 43속 53종의 거미가 조사 연구되어 이에 보고하는 바이다. From March 31st to July 31st in 2016, members of an environmental biology club at Seoul High School located in Seocho-gu, Seoul, Dae-Hee Kim, Dong-Woo Park, Jae-Woong Seo and Hyun-woo Lee, collected 20 families 43 genera 53 species of spiders and report the result of the study here.

Todays, the bill counter is being upgraded to an intelligent banking machine involving various functions such as bill type recognition, counterfeit detection, automatic summation as well as automatic binding. In order to make these possible, we need an efficient number recognition algorithm just for bill counter. This paper explains proposed algorithm and shows that this algorithm makes it possible to recognize the bill types while the bill counter counts in superhigh speed.

국부 마모 부품을 위한 레이저 표면강화 열처리에 관한 연구

두께 10mn 일반기계구조용강재를 사용하여 레이저 종류에 따른 표면경화 열처리특성에 관하여 알아보았다. 경화층의 형성은 레이저의 종류에 크게 영향을 받았는데, 표면경화 열처리를 위해서는 파장이 짧은 Nd-YAG 레이저를 사용하는 것이 유리하였다. 경화층의 최고경도는 700Hv 가량으로 높게 나타났으며, 레이저 표면경화 열처리는 상온에서 사용되는 부품의 내마모성 향상 특히 국부 마모를 겪는 부품에 효과적일 것으로 판단되었다.

人蔘이 닭의 血中葡萄糖 및 遊離脂肪酸濃度에 미치는 影響

Effect of Panax Ginseng on the plasma glucose and free fatty acid levels of the normal chicken and experimentally induced-hyperglycemic chicken, and on the release of glucose and glycogen contents in the chicken liver slices was investigated. 1) Plasma glucose levels was not influenced, but plasma FFA level decreased significantly by intravenous administration of Panax Ginseng in the normal chicken. 2) Epinephrine-induced hyperglycemic and hyperlipemic response and hyperglycemia induced by pancreatic ligation were inhibited by Panax Ginseng, and in the glucose tolerance test, Ginseng shortened the recovery time to normal glucose level. 3) In the chicken liver slices, Panax Ginseng inhibited the release of glucose from the specimen, but did not affect glycogen contents of the tissue.

고순도 투광성 알루미나 Yarn Guide의 제조 및 특성

High purity translucent alumina yam guides were fabricated by injection molding. The green density was 54% of the theoretical after injection molding and debinding. Heat treatment in an argon atmosphere at 1750℃ for 5h to obtain translucency resulted in huge grain sizes in the specimens. Therefore, isostatical hot pressing was necessary for translucency and fine microstructure. After presintering in an oxygen atmosphere at 1550℃ for 5h followed by isostatical hot pressing at 1600℃ for 1h, the translucent alumina was highly dense, over 99.9% of the theoretical, and had 5 to 10㎛ size grains with a high hardness of 14.1GPa. The color was slightly dark due to the carbon atmosphere in the hot isostatic press, however, it would not affect the performance as yarn guides. Owing to the ultra high density, high hardness and fine microstructure, the isostatically hot pressed yarn guides would satisfy the requirements for the application in the high-speed textile machine.

다단계 분류화기와 적응적 고속 영역탐색을 이용한 프랙탈 영상압축

본 논문에서는 프랙탈 영상 압축과정에 있어서, 영상의 크기와 영상의 영역 활동도에 따른 가변적 블록 분할 및 시각 특성을 이용한 다단계 영역별 분류화기를 설정함으로서, 각 영상에 따라 변환되는 블록의 수를 줄여 압축률 및 부호화 시간을 개선하였다. 또한, 부호화 하고자 하는 영상을, 각기 다른 해상도를 지니는 다단계의 계층적 영상 영역에서 탐색을 함으로서 탐색 시간의 효과적인 감소와 더불어 더욱 신뢰성 있는 프랙탈 변환식을 찾을 수 있게 되었다. 기존의 영상 공간 영역 상에서의 MSE(Mean Square Error)를 이용한 블록 탐색 방법과는 달리, DTC(Discrete Consine Transform)변환식의 계수를 이용한 주파수 영역에서의 3차원 분류화기를 설계하여 변환영역에서 고속의 블록 탐색 알고리듬을 제안하였다. 또한 복원된 영상의 블록화 현상에 따른 화질 저하를 개선하기 위하여 복원 필터를 설계하였다. 본 논문에서는 에지(edge)의 방향성과 시각 특성을 고려한 영상 영역의 클래스 속성에 따른 분류와 트랜스폼 영역에서의 고속 블록 탐색을 수행하였다. 본 논문에서는 Ramamurthi와 Gersho^1) 에 의해 제안된 공간 영역에서의 분류와, 기존의 공간 영역에서의 광범위한 블록탐색에 비하여 빠른 코딩 속도 및 낮은 비트율과 상대적으로 우수한 화질개선을 이루었다.
