CD64 Expression Is Increased in Patients with Severe Acute Pancreatitis: Clinical Significance

( Hao Zhang ),( Xian Long Ling ),( Yu Yun Wu ),( Mu Han Lu ),( Hong Guo ),( Peng Bin Zhang ),( Xiao Yan Zhao ),( Shi Ming Yang ) 대한소화기학회 2014 Gut and Liver Vol.8 No.4

Background/Aims: Upregulated CD64 expression on neutrophils is the most useful marker for acute bacterial infections and systemic inflammation. However, it is unknown whether CD64 is involved in the pathogenesis of acute pancreatitis (AP). This study was designed to determine whether CD64 is implicated in severe acute pancreatitis (SAP), and thus, is a suitable marker for SAP. Methods: SAP was induced in rats with an intraperitoneal injection of L-arginine. CD64 expression in the rat pancreas was determined by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) and immunohistochemistry. Additionally, the CD64 mRNA expression in peripheral blood leukocytes from 21 patients with mild acute pancreatitis (MAP) and 10 patients with SAP was investigated at the time of admission and during remission by qRT-PCR. Results: CD64 mRNA and protein expression in the pancreas was significantly higher in rats with SAP, compared to the controls. The CD64 expression was higher in the patients with SAP than in the patients with MAP. During remission, CD64 mRNA decreased in both the MAP and SAP patients. The area under the curve of CD64 expression for the detection of SAP was superior to both the Ranson and the Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation II scores. Conclusions: The CD64 level was significantly increased in correlation with the disease severity in SAP and may act as a useful marker for predicting the development of SAP. Codelivery of hydrophilic and hydrophobic drugs in a microneedle patch for the treatment of skin pigmentation

Li Qin Zhang,Xiao Peng Zhang,Yu Ying Hao,Bao Li Zhang,Xin Dong Guo 한국공업화학회 2020 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.88 No.-

When overexposed to ultraviolet B (UVB) irradiation, skin can cause a series of abnormal reactions, suchas excessive pigmentation and solar elastosis. In order to better treat the skin after overexposed to UVB,we designed a dissolving microneedles (MNs) loading hydrophilic ascorbic acid and hydrophobic vitaminA palmitate to achieve codelivery. Here, we confirmed that MNs had enough mechanical strength toinsert the skin and two drugs were delivered subcutaneously in sequence in vitro. In white guinea pigs, surface observation and histological observation results confirmed that two drugs by MNs transdermaldelivery were better than topical administration in the treatment of UVB-damaged skin. The MNs providea method of loading different drugs into the needles and advance the development of transdermal drugdelivery.

        A pressure-transient model for a fractured-vuggy carbonate reservoir with large-scale cave

        Peng Chen,Xinhai Wang,Hong Liu,Yongmei Huang,Hao Zhang 한국자원공학회 2016 Geosystem engineering Vol.19 No.2

In the development process of fractured-vuggy carbonate reservoir with large-scale caves, the location and size of cave affect the development program. This paper takes the large-scale cave as equipotential body, treats matrix and fracture as double porous media, and establishes the flow model. Laplace transform is used to simplify the model, and then the model is solved using boundary element method. Considering the wellbore storage effect and skin effect, the bottomhole pressure-transient curve is obtained using Stefest numerical inversion method. Comparing the results of analytical solution and boundary element method in the dual porosity medium illustrate the accuracy of this model. The sensitivity of cave parameters is analyzed. It shows that the larger the cave radius is, the stronger the convex and concave of curve is. The convex is earlier and concave is sooner when cave is closer to the well. The segment of convex keeps longer and the concave margin is greater with the larger compressibility ratio. Finally, as an application example, actual test data from a large-scale cave reservoir is analyzed using this model, and the location and size of cave are obtained. It has a certain significance for the reserve evaluation and well test in this reservoir.

      • CUSTOMER VALUE ANTICIPATION, PRODUCT INNOVATIVENESS, AND CUSTOMER LIFETIME VALUE: THE MODERATING ROLE OF ADVERTISING STRATEGY

        Hao Zhang,Xiaoning Liang,Xiao Yu Zhao,Zhong Peng Cao 글로벌지식마케팅경영학회 2014 Global Marketing Conference Vol.2014 No.7

Customers are regarded as the key intangible assets of a company. It is necessary to have the capability to anticipate customer value. The study discusses the relationship among customer value anticipation, product innovativeness, and customer lifetime value from customer perspective. 178 MBA students were surveyed by questionnaire in this study. The results show that customer perceived customer value anticipation can significantly influence product innovativeness. Product innovativeness not only positively affects customer lifetime value, but also plays a partial mediating role between customer value anticipation and customer lifetime value. Both functional and emotional advertising can play a moderating role on the relationship between product innovativeness and customer lifetime value. At the end, managerial implications are discussed.

Investigation on the interactions of scutellarin and scutellarein with bovine serum albumin using spectroscopic and molecular docking techniques

        Hao Tang,Nian-Guang Li,Zhi-Hao Shi,Yu-Ping Tang,Qian-Ping Shi,Ze-Xi Dong,Peng-Xuan Zhang,Jin-ao Duan 대한약학회 2015 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.38 No.10

The binding abilities of scutellarin (Scu) andscutellarein (Scue) with bovine serum albumin (BSA) wereinvestigated using equilibrium dialysis, high performanceliquid chromatography, fluorescence spectroscopy, competitivesite marker and molecular docking. The resultsshowed that the average protein binding ratios of Scu andScue with BSA were (79.85 ± 1.83) and (85.49 ± 1.21) %respectively. Under simulated physiological conditions, thefluorescence data indicated that Scu and Scue bound withBSA through a static mechanism. The thermodynamicparameters indicated that the interactions of Scu-BSA andScue-BSA mainly occurred by van der Waals forces andhydrogen bonds and it was easier for Scue to bind withBSA than Scu, indicating that the glucuronic acid moleculein Scu decreased the binding affinity. Site competitivemarker experiments showed that the binding sites of Scuand Scue mainly located within the sub-domain IIA ofBSA. Furthermore, molecular docking studies indicatedthat one BSA could bind three Scue, while one BSA couldcarry only two Scu. All these results clearly indicated theinteractions of Scu and Scue with BSA, which will lay thefoundation for further research to determine the pharmacologyand pharmacodynamics of Scu and Scue for treatingischemic cerebrovascular disease.

      • Inhibitory Effects of Syk Transfection on Lung Cancer Cell Invasion

Peng, Chuan-Liang,Zhang, Ying,Sun, Qi-Feng,Zhao, Yun-Peng,Hao, Ying-Tao,Zhao, Xiao-Gang,Cong, Bo Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2013 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.14 No.5

Objective: Spleen tyrosine kinase (Syk) is closely related to tumor invasion and metastasis, and has been shown to have potential inhibitory effects in tumors. In this study, we constructed a eukaryotic expression vector for Syk and analyzed its effects on invasive ability of the A549 non-small cell lung cancer cell line in vitro. Methods: A fragment of Syk was obtained by RT-PCR from human lung cancer cells and cloned into the expression vector pLNCXSyk. After restriction endonuclease digestion, PCR and DNA sequencing confirmation, the recombinant Syk expression plasmid was transfected into A549 human lung cancer cells using lipofectamine protocols. After selection, the cells stably expressed Syk. Detection of Syk expression of the cells by RT-PCR, and invasive ability were examined. Results: The eukaryotic expression plamid pLNCXSyk was constructed and expressed stably in the A549 human lung cancer cells. The RT-PCR results showed that Syk mRNA expression was upregulated significantly (P<0.05). Lower invasion through a basal membrane were apparent after transfection (P<0.05). Conclusions: A eukaryotic expression plasmid to cause Syk expression in lung cancer cells can obviously inhibit their invasive ability in vitro.

Reliability analysis of nuclear safety-class DCS based on T-S fuzzy fault tree and Bayesian network

        Zhang Xu,Deng Zhiguang,Jian Yifan,Huang Qichang,Peng Hao,Ma Quan 한국원자력학회 2023 Nuclear Engineering and Technology Vol.55 No.5

The safety-class (1E) digital control system (DCS) of nuclear power plant characterized structural multiple redundancies, therefore, it is important to quantitatively evaluate the reliability of DCS in different degree of backup loss. In this paper, a reliability evaluation model based on T-S fuzzy fault tree (FT) is proposed for 1E DCS of nuclear power plant, in which the connection relationship between components is described by T-S fuzzy gates. Specifically, an output rejection control system is chosen as an example, based on the T-S fuzzy FT model, the key indicators such as probabilistic importance are calculated, and for a further discussion, the T-S fuzzy FT model is transformed into Bayesian Network(BN) equivalently, and the fault diagnosis based on probabilistic analysis is accomplished. Combined with the analysis of actual objects, the effectiveness of proposed method is proved

Effects of Cesium Salts on the Electrical Conductivity of the Weakly Ionized Gas in a Hypersonic MHD Channel

        Hao Li,Peng Lu,Hulin Huang,Yining Zhang,Chenyuan Liu 한국항공우주학회 2023 International Journal of Aeronautical and Space Sc Vol.24 No.5

To adequately utilize the high enthalpy of the weakly ionized gas and improve the performance of the magnetohydrodynamic generator (MHDG) in a hypersonic channel, cesium salts are homogeneously injected into the gas at the entrance of the MHD channel for elevating the gas electrical conductivity. The finite rate chemical dynamics and multi-species electrical conductivity model for seven-species (N2, O2, N, O, NO, NO+, e−) were adopted to simulate the electrical conductivity of the weakly ionized gas under different magnetic fields. The results demonstrate that the electrical conductivity of the weakly ionized gas with cesium salts is significantly higher than that without cesium salts due to two positive contributions of cesium salts, one is that a portion cesium atom ionize much more electrons, and the second is that cesium salts reduce the activation energy of N + O <-> NO + e− by 3.5 times, which accelerates the production rate of electrons. The electrical conductivity of the gas with cesium salts is decreased monotonically along the flow direction, which is contrary to the trend of that without cesium salts. The variation of the collision frequency plays a crucial role in the electrical conductivity of the gas without cesium salts, nevertheless, this effect is marginal on the gas with cesium salts. The magnetic fields have negative impacts on the electrical conductivity of the gas with/without cesium salts. Additionally, the MHDG power generation efficiency is augmented with B for the gas with cesium salts, whereas the trend is reversed for that without cesium salts.
