      • Propylthiouracil에 의한 중증 급성간염 1예

        PTU에 의한 간염의 발생은 매우 드물게 발생하는 것으로 알려져 있으나 저자들은 Graves씨 병으로 진단 받고 propylthiouracil 투여를 받고있던 환자에서 중증의 급성 간염이 발생한 1예를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. Propylthiouracil is widely used to treat patients with hyperthyroidism. This drug has been associated with severe hepatotoxicity rarely. We presented the case of jaundice and profound liver dysfunction from a 23-year old woman treated with propylthiouracil for hyperthyroidism. Viral, metabolic, and autoimmune liver disease could be excluded and liver biopsy revealed a pattern of acute hepatitis. After discontinuing the drug, there was a progressive resolution of hepatic symptoms and decrease in biochemical data of the liver. Despite propylthiouracil induced hepatitis in rare case, patients receiving propylthiouracil are exposed to develope severe hepatotoxicity. Therefore it might be advisable to monitor level of the transaminase on regular base from patients receiving propylthiouracil.

        한국인 성인형 치주염의 실험실 표식자 개발에 관한 연구

        The significance of plaque bacteria and its toxin in the etiology of various periodontal diseases has been well established. The purpose of this study is to develop laboratory marker in adult periodontitis. Five patients with adult periodontitis were examined. Bacterial morphotype was observed by phase contrast microscope. Microflora was isolated by selective and nonselective media. Data was analysed between healthy sites and disease sites by paired T-test. Wolinella recta in the disease sites was isolated more frequently than that of healthy sites and the proportion of Actinomyces in the healthy sites were higher than that in the disease sites. These results suggested that Wolinella recta in the disease sites and Actinomyces in the healthy sites might be the marker of adult periodontitis in Koreans. Further study is needed to clarify the in vitro virulence of Wolinella recta.

      • 전형적인 DISIDA scan 소견의 Rotor 증후군 1예

        만성의 비용혈성 직접형 고빌리루빈혈증은 Rotor 증후군과 Dubin-Johnson 증후군의 특징적인 소견으로, Rotor 증후군은 드문 양성 유전성 질환이며, Dubin-Johnson 증후군과 감별을 필요로 한다. 본 저자들은 황달을 주소로 내원한 26세 남자 환자에서 고빌리루빈혈증에 대한 검사를 시행하여 담도폐쇄 소견없이 간담도 스캔상 전형적인 Rotor 증후군의 소견 즉, 강한 심장 배후방사능이 지속되면서, 간담도계의 조영은 지연 촬영에서도 관찰되지 않으며 신장으로의 배설이 계속 관찰되는 특징적인 소견과 정상 간조직 검사 결과로 Rotor 증후군으로 진단한 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Chronic nonhemolytic conjugated hyperbilirubinemia characterizes both Rotor and Dubin-Johnson syndromes. Rotor syndrome is a rare, benign familial disorder and needs to be differentiated from Dubin-Johnson syndrome. Cholescintigraphy is a simple and informative procedure for the diagnosis, which can differentiate Rotor syndrome from Dubin-Johnson syndrome. A 26-year-old man was admitted due to asymptomatic persistent jaundice. Physical examination revealed icteric sclera without hepatosplenomegaly. Laboratory findings showed increased serum bilirubin with direct bilirubinemia. Markedly decreased hepatic uptake and poor visualization of the gallbladder and biliary tract were shown in ^(99m)Tc-DISIDA scan. Histology of the liver showed no diagnostic abnormality without pigmentation. But, we report a case of Rotor syndrome that showed characteristic cholescintigraphic findings with normal urinary total coproporphyrin excretion.

        Characterization of Fiber Direction Influence in CFRP Composites Using Advanced NDE Techniques

        A nondestructive technique would be very useful. Advanced NDE T-ray (terahertz ray) techniques of technology and instrumentation has provided a probing field on the electromagnetic spectrum. However, the T-ray is limited in order to penetrate a conducting material to some degree. Here, the T-ray would not go through easily the CFRP composite laminates since carbon fibers are electrically conducting while the epoxy matrix is not. So, investigation of terahertz time domain spectroscopy (THz TDS) was made and reflection and transmission configurations were studied for a 48-ply thermoplastic PPS(poly-phenylene sulfide)-based CFRP solid laminate. It is found that the electrical conductivity of CFRP composites depends on the direction of unidirectional fibers.

        항공기 비정상 자세, 고도 및 속도 회복을 위한 자동회복장치 설계 및 검증에 관한 연구

        Relaxed Static Stability(RSS) has been applied to improve flight performance of modem version supersonic jet fighters. Flight control systems are necessary to stabilize an unstable aircraft and to provide adequate handling qualities. Also, flight control systems of modem aircraft employ many safety measure to cope with emergency situations such as a pilot unknown attitude flight conditions of an aircraft in night flight-testing. This situation is dangerous because the aircraft can lose if the pilot not take recognizance of situation. The system called the "Pilot Activated Recovery System" or PARS, provided a pilot initiated automatic maneuver capable of an aircraft recoveries in situations of unusual attitudes, speed and altitude. This paper addresses the concept of PARS with AARS(Automatic Attitude Recovery System), ATCS(Automatic Thrust Control System) and MARES(Minimum Altitude Recovery Estimation System), and this control law is designed by nonlinear control law design process based on model of supersonic jet trainer. And, this control law is verified by real-time pilot evaluation using an HQS(Handling Quality Simulator). The result of evaluation reveals that the these systems support recovery of an aircraft unusual attitude and speed, and improve a safety of an aircraft.

        TERPROM 기반의 저고도 지형추적시스템 개발

        A flight capability to take a terrain following flight near the ground is required to reduce the probability that a fighter aircraft can be detected by foe’s radar fence in the battlefield. The success rate for mission flight has increased by adopting TFS (Terrain Following System) to enable the modern advanced fighter to fly safely near the ground at the low altitude. This system has applied to the state-of-the-art fighter and bomber, such as B-1, F-111, F-16 E/F and F-15, since the research begins from 1960’s. In this paper, the terrain following system and GCAS (Ground Collision Avoidance System) was developed, based on a digital database with UTAS’s TERPRROM (TERrain PROfile Matching) equipment. This system calculates the relative location of the aircraft in the terrain database by using the aircraft status information provided by the radar altimeter and the INS (Inertial Navigation System), based on the digital terrain database loaded previously in the DTC (Data Transfer Cartridge), and figures out terrain features around. And, the system is a manual terrain following system which makes a steering command cue refer to flight path marker, on the HUD (Head Up Display), for vertical acceleration essential for terrain following flight and enables a pilot to follow it. The cue is based on the recognized terrain features and TCH (Target Clearance Height) set by a pilot in advance. The developed terrain following system was verified in the real-time pilot evaluation in FA-50 HQS (Handling Quality Simulator) environment.

        실시간 시뮬레이터 환경에서 항공기 데이터베이스 적용을 위한 DIP 개발 및 검증에 관한 연구

        본 논문에서는 항공기 데이터베이스를 효율적으로 사용하여 시뮬레이션 기능을 향상시키기 위한 DIP(Database Interface Program)의 설계, 개발 및 평가 결과를 제시한다. 주요 설계 관점은 계산 과정에서 시간 지연의 최소화, 메모리 적재 공간의 효율성, 데이터의 연속성 및 신뢰성을 고려하여 내삽 및 외삽과 같은 다양한 알고리즘을 적용하였다. 설계된 DIP를 비실시간 환경 및 Solaris 환경의 실시간 시뮬레이터에 적용하여 최종적으로 평가하였다. 비실시간 평가 환경에서 트림(trim) 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 수행속도와 데이터의 정확도를 평가하였으며, 실시간 환경에서는 대표적인 비행영역에서 여러 가지 기동 (maneuver)을 수행하여 데이터의 신뢰성 및 비행능력을 평가하였다. 평가결과, 계산 속도와 데이터 정확도는 개발요구도를 만족할 수 있었으며, 비행능력은 실시간 시뮬레이터 환경에서의 개발요구도를 만족할 수 있었다. In this paper, design, development and evaluation of DIP(Database Interface Program) are presented. The main purpose of this study is to improve the simulation quality to get more realistic response of target system. The designed and developed major function is composed of flexible memory structure, efficient arithmetic database language and high speed interpolation/extrapolation algorithm. To evaluate the operation speed and accuracy of returned data, trim simulation is performed based on in-house software and, Dll’ is applied to existing real-time simulator such as engineering HQS(Handling Quality Simulator) to evaluate reliability and performance. The result of evlaution reveals that calculation speed and data accuracy are satisfied, and flight performance is satisfied in the real-time simulator environments.

        중력 가속도로 인한 의식상실 감지 및 자동 회복 시스템 개발

        For many years, many pilots lost their lives and aircrafts due to GLOC(Gravity-induced Loss Of Consciousness). Due to the emergence of high-gravity maneuvering aircraft such as the F-16, F-15 and T-50, the automatic GLOC detection and recovery systems are necessary to increase the aircraft safeties even when the pilot loses his consciousness due to high-G maneuvering. This paper addresses the design of GLOC detection, warning and recovery algorithm based on a model of supersonic jet trainer. The system is solely controlled by the pilot"s control input(i.e., control stick force) and aircraft status such as attitude, airspeed, altitude, altitude and so forth. And, moreover, it does not depend upon any pilot physiological condition. The test evaluation results show that the developed system supports the recovery of an aircraft from the unusual aircraft attitude and imporves the aircraft safeties even when the pilot loses his consciousness due to high-G maneuvering.
