        경북 풍기인견산업산지의 가치사슬 특성과 발전방안

        본 연구는 경북 풍기인견산업산지의 가치사슬의 특성을 분석하고, 이를 기초로 가치사슬 고도화를 중심으로 한 발전방안을 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 가치사슬의 특성은 제도적 기반과 구조, 영역성, 거버넌스를 중심으로 분석하였고, 이를 기초로 가치사슬 고도화 관점에서 공정 및 유통과정의 효율성 제고와 제품 및 마케팅 고도화, 활동간 조합 변화로 발전 방안을 모색하였다. 풍기인견산업산지는 중앙정부 차원의 규제적 성격의 제도들이 산지 내 가치사슬 체계의 확장이라는 측면에서 부정적 영향을 끼쳤지만, ‘지역연고산업진흥사업’ 등의 지원정책과 ‘풍기인견발전협의회’ 같은 자생적 조직은 부가가치의 지역내 순환 강화와 사회적 자본 축적에 크게 기여하는 등 가치사슬 형성에 직・간접적인 영향을 미쳤다. 풍기인견산업산지의 가치사슬은 원사 구매와 준비공정, 제직, 염색가공, 디자인・봉제, 유통・판매 및 홍보・마케팅 활동으로 구성된다. 2000년대 재활성화기에 진입하면서 산지 내 가치사슬체계가 확장됨과 동시에 지리적 공간 스케일이 확대되어 영역성이 크게 변화하는 동시에 산지 상업 자본이 가치사슬의 체계 조정자 역할을 수행하는 구매자 주도의 거버넌스로 전환되었다. 풍기인견산업산지가 더욱 발전하기 위해서는 지원기관은 물론 외주업체, 도・소매업체들과 협력적 네트워크를 구축하고, 가치사슬을 다변화해 부가가치의 지역 내 순환을 강화하는 등 풍기지역이 가지는 혁신 잠재력의 극대화를 전제로 한 가치사슬 고도화 전략이 지역에 뿌리내릴 수 있도록 해야 한다. This study is aimed at analyzing the value chain of the viscose rayon industry district and suggesting the development directions in Punggi region, Gyeongbuk province. In order to investigate the value chain, four subjects i.e. structure of the value chain, territoriality (spatiality), governance and institutional frameworks were systematically analyzed. Based on the value-chain analysis we can suggest the upgrading strategies of the value chain itself. The value chain of the district of viscose rayon industry in Punggi region is composed of purchasing thread, preparation process, weaving, dyeing, design and sewing, distribution and sales, and promotion and marketing activities. Due to increasing demands for the viscose rayon since 2000, the value chain system within the district has consistently expanded through restructuring and functionalizing. At the same time, roles of actors performing each activity within the value chain have changed. Commercial capitals led by distribution & sales firms have been playing the role of value chain system organizer within the district. The governance of value chain has been converted into buyer-driven governance. In order to develop Punggi region The value-chain actors, such as the local government, related institutions and organizations, enterprises, and so on, should build an open and horizontal governance. Under this governance social capital could be accumulated while strengthening cooperative partnership. Diversifying the value chain and stimulating circulation of value-added inside the region should occur through nurturing firms specializing in design and sewing within the district and by supporting firms that produce high value-added products such as natural dyeing. Policy alternatives for institutional thickness which helps the regional embeddedness on the upgrading strategies of the viscose rayon industry in Punggi region should be provided.

        관광분야 가치사슬모델의 연구에 관한 고찰

        본 논문은 최근 활발하게 연구가 진행되고 있는 관광가치사슬에 대한 문헌분석을 통해 당면한 문제와 향후 연구방향을 제시하는 데 그 연구목적을 두었다. 문헌분석을 위한 논문들은 웹어브사이언스(Web of Science) 데이터베이스로부터 수집되었다. 수집된 자료는 관광경영자 가치사슬, 관광공급자 가치사슬, 관광객 가치사슬 그리고 관광가치시스템의 그룹으로 분류하였다. 그룹별로 분류된 각 논문들은 연구목적, 연구대상, 연구결과, 연구지역 등에 대하여 고찰하였다. 이후 그룹별 가치사슬에 관하여 연구 방향, 문제점, 제안사항을 포함하는 시사점을 도출하였다. 결론에서는 웹어브사이언스에서 제공하는 통계분석과 관광가치사슬의 그룹별 시사점을 종합하여 향후 연구 방향을 다음과 같이 제시하였다. 첫째, 관광산업 내 가치사슬의 연구는 외식관광과 농촌관광에 집중되어 있다. 하지만 관련된 가치사슬을 통합하는 하나의 관광가치시스템을 구축하기 위해서는 연구영역을 문화관광 가치사슬과 도시관광가치사슬로 확대할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 최근 관광가치사슬에 관한 연구는 관광경영자 가치사슬과 관광공급자 가치사슬에 집중되어 있다. 관광산업에는 지자체와 지역사회의 참여가 중요하다고 볼 때, 관광객과 관광지의 가치사슬에 관한 연구가 매우 중요하다. 셋째, 관광산업의 활성화 차원에서 관광주체자 간 그리고 관광 가치사슬 간 공유 및 전략적 제휴에 관한 연구가 필요하다. 관광가치사슬의 공유는 사업상 수평적 관계와 수직적 관계에서 동시에 수행될 것이 권장된다. 마지막으로, 관광의 특성과 트렌드에 맞추어 관광산업에 적합한 가치사슬모형의 개발이 요구된다. 초기 가치사슬모형이 제조업을 기반으로 발전되었기 때문에 생산과 소비과정이 혼재된 서비스의 특성을 반영하여 관광가치사슬모형을 연구하는 것이 중요하다. This study aims at analyzing tourism value chain literature and suggesting problems and future direction of its research. Articles for literature analysis were collected from the Web of Science database. The collected articles were categorized into 4: tourism managers’ value chain, tourism suppliers’ value chain, tourists’ value chain, and tourism value system. Next, an in-depth analysis on each article was conducted in terms of research goals, objects of study, research results, research regions. Thereafter the trends and problems of current research and recommendations for future research were summurized. In conclusion, while the current value chain models are focused on research relating to food tourism and rural tourism, studies on the value chains of cultural tourism and city tourism are needed to construct a wholesome tourism value framework. Second, recent studies of tourism value chains are likely to focus on the tourism managers’ value chain and tourism suppliers’ value chain. However, given that local government and public societies are significantly involved in the tourism business in present times, the importance of research on destinations’ value chain and tourists’ value chain are growing. Third, to activate tourism businesses, tourism stakeholders are needed to co-operate and their tourism value chains should be shared. Sharing two or more value chains among stakeholders can be occurred both in the horizontal and vertical business relations. Finally, future research on the tourism value chain model should consider typical tourism characteristics and trends such as virtual, mobile and online tourism. The initial value chain model has been developed for manufacturing and there are difficulties to apply the original value chain model to tourism. As most tourism products are to be produced and consumed simultaneously, tourism value chain models need to be developed in consideration of specific tourism procedures.

        The Globalization and Business Performance of Corporate Value Chain

        Purpose - This paper empirically investigates the relationship between the corporate value chain and performance of non- financial businesses of South Korean stock market companies. It aims to explore the evidence that can be used to infer the relationship between value chains and corporate performance in the case of firms forming a value chain with other companies with the means of an equity investment or a special business relationship. Design/methodology - Non-financial corporations listed from 2011 to 2017 on the securities market of South Korea are analyzed. The data used for analysis are found for transactions with the related party by year for all the corporations of non-financial industries in the securities market. Multiple analysis attempts are conducted including the relationship between the value chain and productivity, corporate value, risk-adjusted corporate value, and mediation effects of productivity. The empirical model employs sixteen variables including the value chain index which identifies its impact on various aspects of business performances. Findings - The results of this study clearly supports the phenomenon that corporate productivity and value are enhanced when the corporation expands its value chain established with domestic related firms and overseas companies. Such a positive effect is statistically significant even after the possible risk factors that accompany the expansion of value chain were considered, and productivity plays the role as a medicating variable in the effect of the value chain on the corporation values. Originality/value - The findings of this study confirms that domestic companies’ expansion of their value chain centered on the related firms overseas that helped them in terms of the maximization of their productivity and corporate values. This study shows that Korean government’s policy on expanding the corporate GVC can enhance the productivity and value of firms. The expansion of value chain and its impact on business performance has not been explored thoroughly, although it is getting more and more important in the global trade operation.

        ICT 기반 다중 가치사슬의 동적 플랫폼에서의 공존 모형

        The development of ICT has leaded the diversification and changes of supplies and demands in markets. It also caused the creations of a variety of values which are differentiated from those in the existing market. Therefore, a new-type market is created, which can include multi-value chains which are from ICT-based created markets as well as the existing markets. We defined the platform as the new-type market. In the platform, the multi-value chains can be coexisted with multi-values. In true market, when a new-type value chain entered into an existing market, it is general that it can be conflicted with the existing value chain in the market. The conflicted problem among multi-value chains in a market is caused by the sharing of limited market resources like suppliers, consumers, services or products among the value chains. In other words, if there are multi-value chains in the platform, then it is possible to have conflictions, overlapping, creations or losses of values among the value chains. To solve the problem, we introduce coexistence factors to reduce the conflictions to reach market equilibrium in the platform. In the other hand, it is possible to lead the creations of differentiated values from the existing market and to augment the total market values in the platform. In the early era of ICT development, ICT was introduced for improvement of efficiency and effectiveness of the value chains in the existing market. However, according to the changed role of ICT from the supporter to the promotor of the market, ICT became to lead the variations of the value chains and creations of various values in the markets. For instance, Uber Taxi created a new value chain with ICT-based new-type service or products with new resources like new suppliers and consumers. When Uber and Traditional Taxi services are playing at the same time in Taxi service platform, it is possible to create values or make conflictions among values between the new and old value chains. In this research, like Uber and traditional taxi services, if there are conflictions among the multi-value chains, then it is necessary to minimize the conflictions in the platform for the coexistence of multi-value chains which can create the value-added values in the platform. So, it is important to predict and discuss the possible conflicted problems between new and old value chains. The confliction should be solved to reach market equilibrium with multi-value chains in the platform. That is, we discuss the possibility of the coexistence of multi-value chains in the platform which are comprised of a variety of suppliers and customers. To do this, especially we are focusing on the healthcare markets. Nowadays healthcare markets are popularized in global market as well as domestic. Therefore, there are a lot of and a variety of healthcare services like Traditional-, Tele-, or Intelligent- healthcare services and so on. It shows that there are multi-suppliers, -consumers and -services as components of each different value chain in the same platform. The platform can be shared by different values that are created or overlapped by confliction and loss of values in the value chains. In this research, as was said, we focused on the healthcare services to show if a platform can be shared by different value chains like traditional-, tele-healthcare and intelligent-healthcare services and products. Additionally, we try to show if it is possible to increase the value of each value chain as well as the total value of the platform. As the result, it is possible to increase of each value of each value chain as well as the total value in the platform. Finally, we propose a coexistence model to overcome such problems and showed the possibility of coexistence between the value chains through experimentation.

        Developing value added service of cold chain logistics between China and Korea

        Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to elaborate value-added service of cold chain logistics between China and Korea. The covering strategy for developing the cold chain value-added service between the two countries is proposed. Design/methodology/approach – The author expounds the driving power for developing cold chain logistics between the two countries basing on the trade data of agricultural exports and imports, the tariff liberalization agreement of China–Korea FTA and the short distance between the two countries. It analyzes the value-added service of cold chain logistics with exemplary cases from four aspects (customized service, integrated service, consultation/solution and strategic alliance service), and its value-added mechanism for the enhancement of core competences of the entire cold chain. Then, by considering the drawbacks of the current cold chain logistics practices, between the two countries, the author proposes certain measures for fostering the cold chain value-added services between them. Findings – There are apparent mutual benefits in developing cold chain value-added service between the two countries, but there exists some shortcomings which impede the sound development of the cold chain logistics, such as low circulation rate and insufficient cold chain facility in China, shortage of integrated and compatible information platform between the two countries, few integrated cold chain service and strategic alliance service and occurrence of some trade frictions. Originality/value – The enforcement of China–Korea FTA will greatly reduce the tariff and increase the import and export volumes between the two countries; with the proximity between them, development of cold chain logistics between the two countries holds tremendous potential. This paper thoroughly discusses the mechanism of the value-added service of the cold chain logistics, and brings into focus the development of the value-added service in the two countries.

        개도국 농업발전을 위한 농산물 가치사슬 개선 전략 캄보디아 사례를 중심으로

        Purpose Value chain in agriculture refers to direct and indirect activities related to value-added process from raw materials to final products in agricultural industries. In recent years, value chain analysis has become more important in the area of agricultural development. This article reviews the concept and importance of value chain analysis in the context of agricultural development and attempts to suggest improvement strategies. Research design, data, methodology A literature survey was conducted for value chain analysis for agricultural development. The case of agro-value chain in Cambodia was deeply analyzed based upon interviews with government officers and related experts. Results It seems that agro-value chain in developing countries are not well developed and does not carry out appropriate functions, compared to developed countries. Because value adding facilities, such as storage, processing and packing plants, milling plants, and etc. are not sufficiently constructed, the quality of agricultural products is low. Especially developing countries may loose opportunities to increase value of their product by exporting their agricultural products as raw materials to neighboring countries . Value adding process is also mainly controlled by traders in local markets or wholesale markets in urban areas. Farmers therefore can get lower share of final value of agricultural products compared to the shares paid to traders. Lastly it is argued that governments of developing countries do not play an active role in developing value chains and do not carry out coordinating functions in an effective and efficient manner. Conclusions The first step to improve agro-value chain in developing countries is to identify and analyze value chain structure of agricultural products and to make development strategies and implementation programs. For improving value chain of agricultural products in developing countries, it is required to provide not only plans for constructing hardwares, such as wholesale markets, storage facilities, processing and packing plants, and etc., but also plans for improving softwares, such as measures for improving product quality and safety, setting up grade and standard, providing market information, and nurturing producer cooperatives.

        가상현실 미디어 체험이 가치사슬구조형성에 미치는 영향 연구 VR-AR 수단-목적 사슬이론 적용 중심으로

        본 연구는 VR-AR 체험(Experiential Uses) 행위과정에 나타난 가치단계 요인을 분석(속성, 기능적 혜택, 심리적 혜택, 사용가치), 이용자의 체험 과정에 나타난 욕구와 이용행위 간의 ‘가치단계도(HVM : Hierarchical Value Map)’에 관한 모형을 구성하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 ‘수단-목적 사슬 이론(means-end chain theory)’를 적용, 개인적 VR-AR 경험에 나타난 가치사슬을 측정하였다. 본 연구문제를 해결하기 위하여 1차로 AR-VR 콘텐츠 적합도 측정과 2차로 APT래더링을 활용한 구조화 된 설문지를 통하여 135명의 자료를 분석하여 VR-AR 관련 미디어 이용 선택의 ‘속성’- ‘기능적 혜택’- ‘심리적 혜택’- ‘이용 가치’에 이르는 수단-목적 가치사슬 구조를 파악한 후 가치단계도(HVM)로 VR-AR체험 가치 관계를 실증할 수 있었다. 연구결과, VR 이용자들은 새로운 가상현실 시청각 요소를 통해 현실이탈, 체험의 생생함, 유행선도를 통하여 새로운 성취감, 재미와 즐거움을 통하여 사회생활을 원활히 하고자 하였다. AR이 가지는 생생함과 주변 상호작용을 통하여 자아실현, 타인과 상호작용에 가치를 두고 있으며,‘주변인’의 영향이 크게 작용하였고 이들과의 상호작용이 중요한 선택 목적이었다. 이용자들의 VR-AR 선택의 중요 가치는 타인과 상호작용 증진이며 성취감, 행복과 우호적인 가치 속성도 중요하게 고려되었다. This research explores a value chain structure of VR-AR media including user’s perception, uses, and evaluation. The purpose of this research focused on factor analysis and the relationship among user's VR-AR adoption motivations and utilities. This research explores correlation between personal value and using motivation. This study was to identify the value structure of respondent on VR-AR usages based on means-end chain theory. The research used structured APT laddering questions and 251 data was analysed. Through such analysis, category difference by stage and relationship difference were identified and hierarchical value map was compared. There are four different value ladders: first is attributes, functional consequences, psychological consequences, and final value. This study is based on the analysis of the value chain structure factors that affect VR and AR use behavior (attributes, functional benefits, psychological benefits, use value), 'Hierarchical Value Map' between users' The purpose of the model is to construct a model. For this, 'means-end chain theory' was applied to measure the causal relationship between personal value and VR related use behavior. In order to solve this research problem, 135 people were analyzed through the structured questionnaire using the AR and VR content fitness measure and the second APT laddering, and the use of VR-AR : 1) Functional benefits; 2) Psychological benefits; 3) Means to reach value, 4) Objective value chain structure was identified. The results show that VR users tried to smooth the social life through the new virtual reality audiovisual element, the newness of experience, fun, and pleasure through the departure of reality, vividness of experience, and leading fashion. The AR fitness was a game and a new program, and the value of interacting with other people and the value of 'periwinkle' played an important role through the vividness and peripheral interaction of AR, It was an important choice. The important basic values of users' VR and AR selection were correlated with psychological attributes of interaction with others, achievement, happiness and favorable values.

      • The Quality Costs Assessment in the Aspect of Value Added Chain

        Purpose - The dynamism and chaos of organizational environment has been stated by the analytics of organizational performance. In order to survive in such rapidly changing environment, organizations have to adapt and be able to anticipate changes, to forecast probable activity scenarios that could provide maximum expected benefit. Acknowledging this, many innovative organizations have been involved in management and improvement activities consider the value chain which is based on interaction between the businesses processes functions and management activities. The managerial benefits of value chain analysis has been recognized many scientists still acknowledge that value chain management is inseparable from the investment that is directed towards quality and reduction of the loss that is as well as associated with quality. According to Campanella (1999) and Wood (2013) the assessment of the investment that is directed towards quality and the loss that is associated with quality can be made through application of the analysis of quality cost. However, it should be noted that quality costs aren□t analysed with the value chain activities in order to increase added value. This paper aim focus on the quality costs influence direction and intensity on the added value in the aspect of value chain. Methodology/approach - The article is based on a nomothetic point of view that includes three modules: conceptual, hypothetical - deductive and inductive methods. To formulate theoretical aspects of quality costs evaluation, comparative and chronological analysis of scientific literature is used. Empirical results of the research are obtained by applying method of expert evaluation. Findings - During expert evaluation procedure is identified and selected significant quality costs elements. It is a useful tool to identify quality costs thought value chain processes. Created model of quality costs assessment in the aspect of value added chain is based on identification and classification of quality costs elements and allows to measure and to evaluate influence of quality costs, its direction and intensity on added value. Research limitations/implications - The formulated model of quality costs assessment in the aspect of value added chain is assigned to the models that “are oriented towards the situation”, i.e. diverted towards organizational analyses. Originality/value - The paper complementing the gap between theoretical and practical framework of determining influence of quality costs on added value and proving importance of the assessment of quality costs elements in the aspect of added value chain.

        A Review of Global Value Chain Research in Humanities and Social Sciences based on Knowledge Mapping

        21세기 이후 국가 간 연결고리는 점점 더 밀접해지면서 이전에는 볼 수 없었던 국가간 무역 네트워크는 세계 곳곳으로 확대되었다. 글로벌가치사슬이 통신 및 물류 기술의 발전으로 확대됨에 따라 전통적인 완제품 무역은 점차 가공 무역으로 대체되고, 각 국가가 참여하는 생산네트워크는 국제무역의 핵심이 되었다. Poter(1985)가 가치사슬의 개념을 처음 제안한 이후 글로벌가치사슬 이론은 거의 40년 동안 발전을 거듭해와 각종 문헌을 통해 산업 클러스터, 부가가치 무역, 글로벌가치사슬 분업, 글로벌가치사슬 지배구조 등에 대한 수많은 연구를 수행하였다. 그러나 글로벌가치사슬에 대한 다양한 연구에도 불구하고, 글로벌가치사슬에 대한 객관화된 자료분석을 기초로 최근까지의 포괄적인 연구동향과 미래 방향성에 관한 체계적인 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구는 사회네트워크 분석과 과학적 프런티어 이론에 기반한 CiteSpace 5.8.R3 시 각화 소프트웨어를 활용하여 글로벌가치사슬에 관한 총 3,441편의 논문들을 정량적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 분석자료를 통해 글로벌가치사슬이론의 핵심 연구 동향과 연구 이슈를 정리한 결과, 글로벌가치사슬의 해외 연구는 부가가치획득, 업그레이드, 가치사슬의 역할 배분 및 지배구조에 집중되어 있었으며, 중국내 연구자들은 생산성과해외직접투자, 산업클러스터링 효과에 대한 연구에 한층 집중하는 경향을 보였다. Since the 21st century, countries have become more and more closely connected, and the once unattainable transoceanic and transcontinental trade has now become commonplace, and trade networks have invisibly penetrated all corners of the world. With the gradual improvement of communication and logistics technology, the traditional trade of finished products is gradually replaced by processing trade, and the production chain of trade goods in which each country participates constitutes the main body of the current international trade, and the production chain is known as the global value chain. Since Poter(1985) first proposed the concept of value chains, the theory of global value chains has been developed for nearly 40 years. From the existing literature, scholars at home and abroad have conducted a large number of studies on industrial clusters, value-added trade, global value chain division of labor, global value chain governance, etc. However, comprehensive literature review and classification studies are relatively lacking, and systematic studied on the current research hot spots and frontier trends of global value chains are still lacking. Based on the above problems, this paper quantitatively analyzed a total of 3,441 papers on global value chains by using CiteSpace 5.8.R3 visualization software based on social network analysis and scientific frontier theory. It provided a theoretical reference for promoting the research work and future development in the field of humanities and social sciences of global value chains.

        Value Chain Analysis: A Brief Review

        Value chain analysis has been applied in various fields, from the time the concept of “value chain” was introduced by Porter in 1985. Several frameworks have emerged and have been used to study individual firms, entire industries, industry clusters, as well as global production networks. The purpose of this paper is to provide a brief review of these frameworks, identify factors that influence the performance of value chains, and suggest areas for future research. Since there is a wide range of value chain literature, this paper focuses on a selective set of earlier works within the value chain model as conceptualized by Porter. The study takes note of the many dimensions and applications of value chain analysis, and shows that value chain analysis is an effective way to examine the interaction among different players in a given industry. The study further points out the shortcomings of the traditional or Porter view of value chain analysis.
