        친환경적 국내 꽃축제 개최방안 연구 -관광산업 목적을 중심으로-

        Local festivals in Korea achieved rapid quantitative growth due to the influence of the local autonomy system in 1995. There are 1,129 local festivals in Korea that have been held or are scheduled to be held in 2023, of which 173 are flower-themed festivals, accounting for about 15% of all local festivals. In the case of the domestic flower festival “Jinhae Gunhangje Festival,” which was held in 2023 as regulations caused by COVID-19 were eased, 4.5 million visitors visited for 10 days. As such, the local flower festival for the purpose of the tourism industry is attracting many visitors and is expected to be activated in the future. Despite this positive trend, the currently held flower festival is vulnerable to environmental problems such as carbon and waste, so there is a limit to becoming a future-oriented festival. Although the flower festival organizers did not disclose specific figures on this, considering the number of visitors, it is expected that a large amount of trash and carbon were emitted. From this point of view, most domestic flower festivals are insensitive to environmental problems that abuse disposable products. The purpose of this study is to find the possibility of a flower festival where humans and nature coexist through an eco-friendly approach. First, the function and value of plants were found through literature research using domestic books, academic research, and statistical data. In addition, statistics on festival waste emissions monitored by some flower festival operating institutions and associations were used. At this time, the scope of the study was limited to Korean flower festivals, and as an example for eco-friendly flower festivals, we focused on two overseas flower festivals and flower festivals held in Suncheonman Bay in Korea. Despite the increase in visitors and social interest, the domestic flower festival currently being held lacks many eco-friendly elements. In the case of flower festivals that welcome a large number of visitors in nature, it is thought that eco-friendly awareness will be more strongly required. However, both organizers and visitors currently recognize participation in the flower festival as part of entertainment and do not make environmental approaches or efforts in this regard. In order to hold an eco-friendly flower festival, two aspects are required: first, developing programs related to the flower festival, and second, changing the perception of the festival organizers and visitors. Flower festival programs can be divided into two types: practical programs to increase green areas and improve the environment, and educational programs to raise awareness of flower festivals. I think practical programs that realize carbon reduction and green space increase can develop flower festivals in an eco-friendly direction. However, the fact that most host local governments and institutions that hold flower festivals do not show quantitative indicators of carbon emissions and waste is something that needs to be improved. It was also found that many visitors perceive the flower festival as simply an object of leisure. It is the trend of the times related to the natural environment that the environment should not be negatively affected for human play. In order for the flower festival to develop into a sustainable form of content that leads to future generations, it is judged that changes in perception through practical action and education are necessary. At a time when interest and importance in the environment are emerging around the world, I think it is time for interest in holding an environmentally friendly flower festival suitable for it to continue. 우리나라의 지역축제는 1995년 실시된 지방자치제의 영향으로 급속한 양적 성장을 이루었다. 2023년 개최했거나예정인 국내 지역축제는 1,129개이며, 이 중 꽃을 주제로 하는 축제는 173개로 전체 지역축제의 약 15%를 차지하고 있다. 2023년 코로나19로 인한 규제가 완화되면서 개최된 국내 꽃축제 <진해군항제>의 경우 10일간 450만 명의방문객이 다녀간 것으로 집계되었다. 이처럼 관광산업 목적의 지역 꽃축제는 많은 관람객을 유치하고 있으며 향후에도 활성화될 것으로 보인다. 이 같은 긍정적 흐름에도 불구하고 현재 개최되는 꽃축제는 발생하는 탄소와 쓰레기등 환경 문제에 취약해 미래지향적 축제가 되기에는 한계가 있다고 볼 수 있다. 꽃축제 주최 측에서 이에 대한 구체적인 수치를 공개하지 않았지만, 방문객의 수로 미루어볼 때 다량의 쓰레기와 탄소가 배출되었을 것으로 예측된다. 이 같은 관점에서 대부분의 국내 꽃축제는 일회용품을 남용하는 환경 문제에 둔감한 양상을 나타내고 있다. 이연구는 친환경적 접근을 통해 인간과 자연이 공존하는 꽃축제의 가능성을 찾아보는 것에 목적이 있다. 먼저 국내단행본과 학술연구, 통계자료 등을 이용한 문헌 연구를 통해 식물의 기능과 가치를 찾아보았다. 또한 일부 꽃축제운영 기관 및 협회가 모니터링 한 축제 쓰레기 배출량 통계자료를 사용하였다. 이때 연구 대상의 범위는 한국의 꽃축제로 한정하였으며, 친환경 꽃축제를 위한 사례로 해외의 두 가지 꽃축제와 국내의 순천만에서 개최되는 꽃축제를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 현재 개최 중인 국내 꽃축제는 방문객의 증가와 사회적인 관심에도 불구하고 친환경적인요소가 많이 결여된 것으로 나타났다. 자연 속에서 다수의 방문객을 맞이하는 꽃축제의 경우 친환경적 인식이 더강하게 요구될 것으로 생각된다. 그러나 현재 주최 측이나 방문객 양측 모두 꽃축제 참여를 오락의 일부로 인식할뿐 이와 관련한 환경적인 접근이나 노력은 하지 않는 것으로 파악됐다. 친환경 꽃축제 개최를 위해서는 첫째, 꽃축제 관련 프로그램 개발과 둘째, 축제 주최 측과 방문객의 인식변화 두 가지 측면이 요구된다고 할 수 있다. 꽃축제프로그램은 녹지 증가와 환경 개선을 위한 실천적 프로그램과 꽃축제에 대한 인식을 제고하는 교육적인 프로그램두 가지로 나눠 볼 수 있다. 탄소 저감과 녹지 증가를 실현하는 실천적 프로그램은 친환경적인 방향으로 꽃축제를발전시킬 수 있다고 생각한다. 그러나 꽃축제를 개최하는 대부분의 주최 지자체나 기관 등에서 탄소배출과 쓰레기의 정량적인 지표를 보여주지 않는 것은 개선되어야 할 부분이다. 또한 많은 방문객이 꽃축제를 단순히 여가의 대상으로 인식하고 있음이 나타났다. 인간의 유희를 위해 환경에 부정적인 영향을 주어서는 안 된다는 것이 자연환경과 관련된 시대적 흐름이다. 꽃축제가 미래세대로 이어지는 지속 가능한 형태의 콘텐츠로 발전하기 위해서는 실천적 행동과 교육에 따른 인식변화가 필요할 것으로 판단한다. 전 세계적으로 환경에 관한 관심과 중요성이 대두되는상황에서 그에 적합한 환경친화적 꽃축제 개최에 관한 관심이 계속되어야 할 시점이라 생각한다.

      • 신안군의 꽃 축제 종류, 장소 및 운영 실태에 관한 연구

        In the face of growing concerns about population decline and rural extinction, Shinan-gun in Jeollanam-do of Korea is drawing attention as a successful case by holding theme-based flower festivals that utilize the islands resources. In response to this, this study was conducted to investigate and analyze the types, dates, periods, locations, flowers used, number of opening rounds, and number of visitors to related programs of flower festivals held in Shinan-gun in 2023. There were 11 flower festivals, and the total festival period, including overlapping periods between festivals was 219 days. The flower festival locations were held in 2 towns and 7 districts, utilizing 64.3% of the countys 14 town and district administrative districts. Three of the festival locations were islands that required the use of ferries. The number of opening rounds for flower festivals was 3 or less for 72.8% of them. The main flowers used in the flower festivals were 11 species: daffodil, tulip, rapeseed, orchid, lavender, scutellaria barbata, hydrangea, hibiscus, daylily, marigold, and camellia japonica. Flower festival-related programs included the sale of seeds, pots, and other products of the flowers featured in the festival. Ten of the flower festivals had fewer than 100,000 visitors, but the total number of visitors exceeded 350,000. Therefore, the flower festivals in Sinan County were analyzed to have contributed to the regional tourism activation by serving as a model for local festivals that promote regional balance through decentralized hosting, monopolize the promotional issue of flowers throughout the year through year-round hosting and expand the range of choices for tourists.

        지역축제의 만족도, 충성도, 효과 간 인과관계 분석 : 부천시 봄꽃축제를 대상으로

        This study analyzed the causal relationship between festival satisfaction, festival loyalty, and festival effects through the survey of visitors of Bucheon Spring Flower Festival. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on a total of 900 visitors including 300 people at Wonmisan mountain, 302 people at Dodangsan mountain, and 298 people at Chunduksan mountain. First of all, the festival satisfaction, an independent variable, was set as the factors of program, convenience, and operation management. Festival effect, the dependent variable, consisted of socio-cultural effects and urban brand effects, and festival loyalty was set as a parameter. The results show that the program has an impact of 0.550 on social and cultural effects and 0.592 on urban brand effects. Operations management had a 0.257 impact on socio-cultural effects and a 0.238 impact urban brand effects. Loyalty then influenced 0.679 on socio-cultural effects and 0.577 on urban brand effects. Lastly, socio-cultural effects had a 0.322 impact on urban brands.

          The Purpose of this study is to suggest on the basic material of problems and development plans for the Ninth Icheon Sansuyu Flower Festival through the research of satisfaction degree for participations.<BR>  According to this research, participators of 70.3% consists of Kyonggido residents, visiting prtterns are mainly made up one day tour(89.0%) and family trip(53.8%). The expenses of stay is highly made of below 50,000 won(64.8%). Marred women and housewife are highly interested in festival rather than a single and man. Therefore it must be planed for increasing program of a long stay and considered of women and family trip.<BR>  The satisfaction variable that influences in the discrimination of other festivals consists of convenience facilities quality, program quality, information & guidance quality. It is suggested that program satisfaction variable most highly influences than any other festival. Development factor of tourist resources influences extremely much for revisiting decision.

        文體記憶與文化記憶的協奏 ——梁修《花埭百花首詩》用典藝術初探

        The Poems about the Blossom Dyke (also called The Poems of One Hundred Flowers of Blossom Dyke), composed by LiangXiu in Blossom Dyke’s Ren xiang garden of Guangzhou in 1885, was specially wrote for the festival of lanterns. In this volume, LiangXiu depicted about one hundred kinds of flowers. However, he did not only satisfied on delineating the appearance but the inside spirit of blossom, with the methods of using well- known ancient tales and history affairs or telling his own ambition in the poems, such as to described the sweetly shape of follows or satirized the ways of the world or comment on history by virtue of follows or recorded the customs and etc, which made the anthology has particular enchantment besides pass judgments on follows. In deeper significance, it showed the talent and outstanding technique of Poets in LingNan and reflected the festival atmosphere and interest in the custom of enjoying flowers in the Blossom Dyke.

        무궁화 축제의 현황과 발전방안 연구

        Festivals have a sociocultural function of promoting social integration and solidifying the existing order. This is in correspondence with the purpose fulfilled by the nation`s symbol for the sake of the country`s perpetuity. The national flower of Korea is the rose of Sharon. The Festival of Rose of Sharon is the one and only festival which is themed with the nation`s symbol. Although the festival has little history so far and its conditions do not meet the standard of a festival, it is decided that such business is essential both in terms of our cultural identity and national dimension. The development scheme for the festival of Rose of Sharon, the national flower, is as follows. The purpose of holding the festival should be oriented to consumers not suppliers, and the body of the festival should be a voluntary private organization. In addition, it should be based on a specific regional area and provide spectacles as well as programs to visitors such as a hill of Rose of Sharon in a massive scale that go beyond their daily experience. The adequate period to hold the festival is considered to be around the time of Liberation Day, in the period of which flowers blossom and social interests are high on national affection. However, the Arbor Day can also be a consideration to facilitate more people involvement. In order to draw out voluntary participation, which is regarded as a critical factor in festivals, some illusionary outcomes different from reality should be acquired through the play of festival, and more attention should be paid to the nature of the festival, that is, its role as a social integration of a community.

        Assessment of Visitors’ Satisfaction and Intention to Revisit of Bukcheon Iceland Poppy Festival in Hadong County, South Korea

        This study was conducted to analyze the characteristics of visitors to Hadong Bukcheon Iceland Poppy (BIP) Festival in order to sustain and enhance local flower festivals as a garden tourism. A questionnaire was distributed to BIP Festival visitors from May 18 to 27, 2018. A total of 167 responses were subject to be analyzed. Descriptive statistics analysis was mainly used and focused on describing the results in direct to explain the BIP Festival as a garden tourism. The number of female visitors and those in their 40s and 50s was high. Most of the visitors were found to live in other cities or counties near the area where BIP Festival was held and to prefer festivals held on the theme of nature and local features. The revisit rate and awareness of BIP Festival were 52.1% and 72.5% respectively. They mainly obtained the information on BIP Festival from people around them including family members, friends and colleagues, or from the Internet. Most answered that BIP festival was the most important destination on their trip. The major motives of BIP Festival visit included “spending quality time with family or friends (34.1%)”, “appreciating Iceland poppy and gardens (25.6%)”, and “enjoying oneself (tranquility, mental rest, etc.; 21.3%). As a companion, family and friends/colleagues accounted for 62.3% and 26.3% respectively. Most were found to spend 1-2 hours on visiting BIP festival and stay in Hadong county for a quarter of a day. In satisfaction of BIP Festival itself, “display and maintenance of Iceland poppy (3.76)” and “easiness of viewing (places arrangement, path, etc.) (3.57)” were high. In satisfaction of public relation and information, “service and hospitality of guides and desk clerks (3.66)” was high. The intention to revisit BIP Festival was nearly affirmative (3.73-3.80).

        제주자생 꽃 콘텐츠를 활용한 패션문화상품 개발 - 왕벚꽃, 유채꽃, 참꽃을 중심으로 -

        본 연구의 목적은 관광효과를 극대화하고 제주지역의 경제 활성화를 모색하고자 자원식물을 이용한 연중 축제 프로그램 중 대표적인 제주왕벚꽃축제, 제주유채꽃큰잔치와 제주참꽃나무축제를 소재로 텍스타일 패턴 디자인 및 패션문화상품을 개발하여 제시하였다. 이를 위해 일차적으로는 왕벚꽃, 유채꽃과 참꽃의 조형적 이미지와 상징적 의미를 유추한 결과를 근거로 꽃 콘텐츠를 구축한 후 표현기법에 따라 다양하게 활용할 수 있도록 양식화한 콘텐츠적 모티브를 추출하였다. 이를 토대로 사실형, 양식형, 추상형의 리피트를 구성한 후 리피트별 2가지 컬러배색을 통해 텍스타일 패턴을 개발하였다. 이차적으로는 개발한 텍스타일 패턴을 패션문화상품에 활용할 수 있는지를 규명하기 위해 가방디자인에 텍스타일 패턴의 디자인 맵핑을 추가로 실시하였고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 디자인 의도에 따라 선택한 텍스타일 패턴을 DTP로 출력한 소재(캔버스, 옥스퍼드지)로 패션문화상품을 실제로 제작하여 제시함으로써 지역문화와 지역경제의 활성화를 모색할 수 있을 것이라 기대된다. 텍스타일 패턴화 작업을 위한 제작도구로는 Adobe CS5 및 TexPro 디자인 캐드를 사용하였다. The purpose of this study was to develop the textile pattern designs and fashion cultural products using Jeju native flower contents (Cherry Blossom with Jeju Cherry Blossom Festival, Canola flower with Jeju Canola Flower Festival and Weyrichii with Jeju Rhododendron Festival), to revive regional economy and maximize tourism effects as kind of local culture strategy. To achieve this, first, it established flower contents based on the conclusion that analogized the formative image and symbolic meaning on Cherry Blossom, Canola flower and Weyrichii. Second, it abstracted the stylized motives from the flower contents so that can be used in various expressive techniques. After it composed one repeat of reality type, style type and abstract type based on content motives, developed the textile patterns as 2 color matching by each repeat. Third, by practicing additionally design mapping, it investigated whether the development of textile patterns can be used in fashion cultural products. Finally, it produced various bags with fabrics using canvas and oxford printed the textile patterns by DTP. For design manufacturing tools, Adobe CS5(Photoshop & Illustrator) and TexPro design CAD were used. In conclusion, as the study developed and suggested a textile pattern design of Jeju native flower contents to revive regional economy and maximize tourism effects. Furthermore, it is expected that textile pattern developed based on regional cultural prototype could be applied to th development of various fashion cultural products.

      • 대만화훼전시회 방문자 특성에 관한 연구

        Taiwan flower exhibition is an international accredited exhibition. Breeding techniques, cultivation techniques and marketing are important in floricultural industry. Thus, floricultural industry is in agricultural sector that gives more meanings in aesthetics and uniqueness rather than production per unit. Flower exhibition is the one satisfied in this respect. Taiwanese younger age tended to visit exhibitions many times. The purpose of exhibition is for avocation overwhelmingly. However, the group who had intention to attend the International Flower festival were more interested in watching new varieties and acquiring new technologies than the group who had no intention. Moreover, they had more interested in view of the future than the floating group. Hence, Taiwanese who have intention to visit flower exhibition have more interested in the future horticulture industry and the new varieties.
