        건축 파사드의 디지털 패턴 디자인 유형에 대한 인구 통계적 특성별 감성 특성

        This study extends the research on the sensibility characteristics of the digital pattern design types of architectural façades, as classified by Ben Pell, in order to determine the sensibility characteristics most associated with the demographic characteristics-: gender, age, academic background, occupation, and career-. This study, as a follow-up to existing research, first briefly summarizes definitions for digitized pattern design types of architectural facades, survey targets, and methods, followed by reviewing previous research on demographic characteristics and analysis methods. Second, based on existing research, this study proposes a method for deriving sensibility characteristics from demographic characteristics. By this method, bipolar-sensibility words are selected for validity and reliability by SPSS’s factor analysis and reliability analysis, and the sensibility values of the extracted vocabularies calculated by using SPSS’s t-Test, as mean values, are derived. A significant difference with these derived bipolar-sensibility words are identified. Between the two derived sensibility vocabularies of the selected bipolar-sensibility words, the sensibility characteristics for each demographic characteristic of the pattern type are derived by using the bipolar-sensibility words with the highest sensibility values. Finally, the sensibility characteristics associated with the obtained demographic characteristics and pattern types are compared to earlier results and integrated with them. The sensibility characteristics found in this study were applied, perforated, layered, and cast pattern types. First, by gender, men were associated with “asymmetry” and women with “irregularity.” The sensibility characteristic for perforated pattern types was "irregularity," and the sensibility characteristic for layered and cast pattern types was “regular regularity” for both men and women. Second, age-specific sensibility characteristics were “discontinuity at the same time as continuity” and “asymmetry” in respondents aged 21 to 30 years, and “regularity” and “irregularity” in the age group of 31 to 45 years; characteristic for layered and cast pattern types was “regularity” for all age groups. Third, by academic background, sensibility characteristics were “asymmetry,” “discontinuity,” and “fluctuation” in university students and graduates, and “irregularity,” “irregularity,” and “regularity” in those with post-graduate education; “regularity” was the characteristic for cast pattern types for all academic background groups. Fourth, by occupation, sensibility characteristics were “asymmetry,” “irregularity,” and “regularity” in architecture and interior design-related occupations, and “regularity,” “irregularity,” and “continuity” in other workplaces. Cast pattern type was associated with “regularity” for all occupations. Fifth, by experience, sensibility characteristics were “irregularity” and “irregularity” for those with less than 1 to 10 years of experience, and “irregularity at the same time to be regularity” and “regularity” among those reporting no-career. Layered and cast pattern types were derived from “regular regularity” for respondents in all careers.

      • Knitwear Consumers' Demographic Characteristics and Evaluation Criteria

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of demographic characteristics and general buying characteristics of knitwear consumers on evaluation criteria and information source searching. In this study, a self-administered questionnaire was distributed to young career women and female undergraduate students. Of 580 questionnaires, 496 were used in the following analysis. The data was analyzed with the SPSS package. The research method used factor and reliability analysis to segment consumers by their knitwear evaluation criteria. T-test, one-way ANOVA and χ²were used to characterize the impact of characteristics of the consumer on knitwear evaluation criteria and information source searching in buying knitwear. The results of this study were as follows. First, the information sources of consumers were significantly different depending on their demographic characteristics(age). According to the difference in relationship between the age of consumers and information sources, the younger the consumer, the more information in fashion magazine, the older, in fashion advertisement on catalog. Second, the knitwear evaluation criteria of consumers was classified according to six characteristics - quality, price, aesthetic, situation, self-expression and external. Their knitwear evaluation criteria were significantly different depending on demographic characteristics(job, age, education, marital status) and the general buying characteristics of knitwear(annual knitwear/clothing buying expense and frequency). Career women and married women placed significant importance on practical aspects like quality and price characteristics, while undergraduate students and single women placed significant importance on aesthetic and self-expression characteristics. Also, a group with higher annual knitwear/clothing buying expense and frequency considered aesthetic and self-expression characteristics more important. The lower the annual knitwear/clothing buying expense and frequency, the higher a group considered quality and price characteristics more important.

        후속출산계획의 영향요인에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 한국의 영아기 자녀를 둔 가구를 중심으로 후속출산계획에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대하여 영아자녀 가구의 사회인구학적 특성과 어머니의 자녀 가치관 및 양육지원을 중심으로 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 육아정책연구소 한국아동패널연구 1차년도 데이터를 활용하였으며 총 1,283가구가 최종적으로 분석에 사용되었다. 어머니를 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였으며, 수집된 자료에 대해서는 빈도분석과 교차검증(chi-square test), 차이 검증(t-test)을 실시하고, Pearson의 적률상관계수를 산출하였으며, 영아자녀 가구의 사회인구학적 특성과 어머니의 자녀 가치관 및 양육 지원이 후속출산계획에 미치는 영향력을 알아보기 위해 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 가구의 사회인구학적 특성 중 영아의 성별, 출생순위, 어머니 연령, 영아 양육 지출과 어머니의 자녀 가치관 하위변인 중 도구적 가치, 이상 자녀수, 양육 지원 하위변인 중 아버지의 양육참여와 사회적 지원이 후속출산계획에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of socio-demographic characteristics, mothers’ value of children, and parenting support on additional birth plan. In this study, the subjects were 1,283 mothers of infants using data of the 2008 Panel Study on Korean Children(PSKC). Mothers were subjected to mother-report and interview questionnaires which included on topics on additional birth plan, socio-demographic characteristics, mothers’ value of children, and parenting support. To analyze the data, descriptive statistics, chi-square test, t-test, Pearson’s correlation and logistic regression analysis were performed. The results of this study are summarized as follows; First, there was significant difference in mothers’ additional birth plan according to socio-demographic characteristics, the level of mothers’ value of children, and parenting support. In the aspect of socio-demographic characteristics, infants’ birth order, mothers’ age, and expenditure for a new baby showed difference in child birth plan significantly. Also, the more mothers’ value of children and parenting support were higher, the more probability for additional birth plan was increased. Second, socio-demographic characteristics, mothers’ value of children, and parenting support were significantly related to additional birth plan. In terms of relative relevance, infants’ birth order and mothers’ age were the most significant variables. Third, effects of socio-demographic characteristics, mothers’ value of children, and parenting support on additional birth plan was examined in several phases. Socio-demographic characteristics showed the most powerful as well as independent affecting additional birth plan. In conclusion, it should be considered that value of children and parenting support would be also important factors to determine additional birth plan besides socio-demographic characteristics. Thus, for encouraging child birth, it would be wiser to investigate more about mothers’ recognition and acknowledgment about child birth and find ways to improve the condition of both mothers’ micro and macro environment simultaneously.

        An analysis of user behaviors on the search engine results pages based on the demographic characteristics

        The purpose of this survey-based study is to make an analysis of search engine users’ behaviors on the Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs) based on the three demographic characteristics gender, age, and program studying. In this study, a questionnaire was designed with 12 closed-ended questions. Remaining questions other than the demographic characteristic related ones were about “tab”, “advertisement”, “spelling suggestion”, “related query suggestion”, “instant search suggestion”, “video result”, “image result”, “pagination” and the amount of clicking results. The questionnaire was used and the data collected were analyzed with the descriptive statistics as well as the inferential statistics. 84.2% of the study population was reached. Some of the major results are as follows: Most of each demographic characteristic category (i.e. female, male, under-20, 20-24, above-24, English computer engineering, Turkish computer engineering, software engineering) have rarely or more click for tab, spelling suggestion, related query suggestion, instant search suggestion, video result, image result, and pagination. More than 50.0% of female category click advertisement rarely; however, for the others, 50.0% or more never click advertisement. For every demographic characteristic category, between 78.0% and 85.4% click 10 or fewer results. This study would be the first attempt with its complete content and design. Search engine providers and researchers would gain knowledge to user behaviors about the usage of the SERPs based on the demographic characteristics.

        최고경영자의 특성이 기업의 사회적 책임활동에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 CEO의 인구통계학적 특성이 CSR에 영향을 미치는지 분석하고 CEO의 특성과 CSR간 관련성에 TMT의 인구통계학적 특성 및 CEO의 소유구조가 조절적 영향을 미치는지 검증하였다. 기업의 최고 의사결정권자라 할 수 있는 CEO는 CSR과 같은 기업의 전략을 수립하는 책임자이며 핵심적 의사결정자의 개인적 특성은 CSR에 실질적인 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인이 될 수 있다(Waldman et al., 2006a). 본 연구는 2010년말 현재 유가증권시장 상장 기업을 대상으로 하여 CSR을 종속변수로 하는 다중회귀분석을 수행하였다. CEO와 TMT의 인구통계학적 특성으로는 나이와 교육수준 및 교육과정을 이용하였으며, 모형 내 포함되는 상호작용항으로 인한 다중공선성 문제를 통제하기 위하여 mean-centering 후의 회귀분석으로 가설을 검증하였다. 분석결과, CEO의 교육수준이 높은 기업일수록 적극적인 CSR을 수행하는 것으로 확인되었다. 그리고 CEO의 나이와 TMT구성원의 나이는 상호작용을 통하여 CSR에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 CEO의 전공이 자연과학/공학계열이면서 TMT구성원이 사회과학계열을 전공한 기업의 경우 CSR 수준이 증가한다는 사실을 발견하였다. 그러나 CEO의 소유지분율과 관련하여 유의적인 결과는 발견되지 않았다. 본 연구는 CEO와 TMT의 특성이 전략적 의사결정에 상호보완적인 역할을 수행한다는 사실을 시사하고 있다. CEO의 나이와 교육적 배경은 TMT의 나이와 교육적 배경에 의해 보완되어질 수 있으며 이러한 상호작용이 CSR 수준을 향상시킬 수 있다는 사실을 발견함으로써 CEO와 TMT 구성원의 다양성이 기업의 전략적 선택 상황에서 균형잡힌 시각으로 표출될 수 있다는 함의를 도출한다. This paper attempts to examine managerial attributes affecting corporate social responsibilities(CSR). This study explores the relationship between CEO demographic characteristics and CSR. I also investigated whether TMT demographic characteristics and CEO ownership ratio moderate the relationship between CEO demographic characteristics and CSR. The key decision-maker"s predominant attributes and personal qualities that tend to have the most pronounced effect upon a firm"s CSR as a strategic choice(Waldman et al., 2006a). I perform the multiple regression analysis using korean listing companies after mean-centering to control multicollinearity in the model including interaction variable. The results indicate that CEO education level is shown to affect corporate social responsibilities. In addition, young CEOs perform socially responsible activities when they work with old top management team members. And CEOs who major in natural science or engineering increase investment in corporate social responsibility when they work with top management team members who major in social science. However, there"s no evidence about interaction effect of CEO ownership and CEO characteristics. The results are expected to understand the role of leadership in CSR and encouraging for supporting the diversity of CEO and top management team members can be lead better and balanced decision making in CSR as a strategic choice.

        본 연구는 최근까지 학위논문 및 학술지 논문 중 실증논문에 대한 심사과정에서 인구통계적 특성의 통제방법에 대한 심사자들 간의 논쟁에 주목하였다. 구체적으로 인구통계적 특성이 명목변수이거나 서열변수이기 때문에 더미변수화하여야 한다는 주장과 비록 명목변수이거나 서열변수이지만 구체적인 비교가 아닌 응답자 간의 일반화를 위한 목적인 경우에는 그대로 투입해도 무방하다는 논쟁은 지금까지도 많은 연구자들과 학위취득을 위한 학생들에게 혼란스러운 이슈이기 때문이다. 이를 위해 학위논문 및 학술지 게재논문 14편을 연구자의 동의를 얻어 인구통계적 특성을 통제하지 않았을 때, 더미변수화하여 통제하였을 때, 명목변수를 그대로 투입하여 통제하였을 때의 비표준화계수와 표준화계수를 대응표본 t-검정을 통해 비교하였다. 분석 결과 인구통계적 특성을 통제하는 것이 바람직하며, 특성에 대한 차이를 정교화하기 위한 목적이 아닌 경우에는 명목변수를 그대로 투입하여 통제하여도 큰 차이가 없는 것으로 결론내릴 수 있었다. 그러나 분석대상 논문 편수가 너무 작고 수리통계적 관점에서의 접근이 이루어지지 않은 점에 대해서는 추후 보완할 필요가 있다. This study focused on disputes about controls of demographic characteristics among judges, in the examination of empirical theses among master s theses and treatises. In particular, one argument that demographic characteristics are nominal or ordinal variables, so they should be turned into dummy variables and the other one that although they are nominal or ordinal ones, they can be input as it is, only for generalization among responders, not for a specific comparison are chaotic issues so far for researchers and students with academic degrees. In order to resolve this problem, this study acquired demographic characteristics from 14 master s theses and publicized treatises by gaining researcher s approval, and compared standardized and non-standardized coefficients by using a paired t-test, when they were not controlled, when they were controlled by turning them into dummy variables and when they were controlled by inputting nominal ones as they are. The findings show that it is desirable to control demographic characteristics and there are no significant differences, even when they are controlled by inputting nominal ones as they are, not for articulating differences in characteristics. However, it will be necessary to compensate too low number of theses and current approach that is not derived from the perspective of mathematical statistics.

        의복 재활용에 대한 인식 및 사장의복 실태 분석

        This study analyzed the perceptions related to recycling clothing and the actual conditions of unused clothing based on demographic characteristics to help reduce environmental pollution. A total of 833 questionnaires were used in data analysis for this survey study. The subjects consisted of men and women in their 20s to 50s who resided in Gyeongnam and Ulsan, Korea. The data were analyzed by χ2-test using SPSS. The results obtained were as follows. The intention to recycle others’ clothing was significantly different for all the demographic characteristics. Overall, the response “I have an intention to recycle others’ clothing” was reported by a relatively high proportion of the respondents. The analysis of the motivation to others’ clothing showed a significant difference in all demographic characteristics except gender. The main motivation for recycling clothing was because “I wanted to recycle the clothing”. The factors hindering recycling others’ clothing showed significant differences according to gender, marital status, and occupation. The main hindrance factor was reported as “feeling uncomfortable”. The causes of occurrence of unused T-shirts significantly different for all demographic characteristics. The causes of occurrence of unused trousers and skirts was significantly different for all demographic characteristics except monthly income. The cause of undisposed, unused clothing was related to all demographic characteristics Overall, the response “reluctant to dispose of” was reported by a relatively high proportion of the respondents.

      • Consumer Dissatisfaction Factors and Purchase Behaviors of Backpacks

        The purposes of the present study were to investigate the factors of consumer dissatisfaction with backpacks and to examine if the levels of dissatisfaction with the factors differ significantly among the groups determined by demographic characteristics and purchase behaviors. The differences in the purchase behaviors of backpacks were also tested among the groups determined by demographic characteristics. Data collection was consisted of two pilot tests and the final test. The questionnaire was distributed to 450 students of universities in Seoul from July 1 to 13 in 2000 and 351 were usable. Data were analyzed by factor analysis, t-test, χ²analysis, MANOVA, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range tests using SPSS PC+ Program. Five factors were formulated: durability, ease-of-care/color fastness, dimensional stability, wearability and design. Subjects were most dissatisfied with the dimensional stability of backpacks. Different demographic characteristics and purchase behaviors resulted in significantly different levels of dissatisfaction with selected factors. Significant differences were also found in selected selection criteria and purchase behaviors among groups determined by some demographic characteristics. v

        인구통계학적 특성에 따른 스키니 진의 선호도 및 추구이미지의 차이분석

        This study aims to draw the factors about the desired image of skinny jeans and to analyze the difference desired image, preference, and wearing satisfaction according to demographic characteristics. The data for this study were collected from men and women in their from 10s to 40s. This study used SPSS 20.0 for windows and factor analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA were used to perform the statistical analysis on the survey data. The result showed that the desired image of skinny jeans was five. The difference results of skinny jeans according to demographic characteristics showed the significant difference in the comfortable and stylish image, the thin and long image, and the active image according to gender, in the bold and sensual image according to marital status, in the bold, comfortable, stylish, and sensual image according to age, in the bold image according to monthly income, and in the bold, thin, and sensual image according to occupation. The difference results about the preference of skinny jeans according to demographic characteristics showed that the groups of women, teenager, five millions won and over to six millions won in monthly income, owner-operators, service and production workers, office workers, middle and highschool students, and university students have the higher preference than the other groups. The difference analysis results about the wearing satisfaction of skinny jeans according to demographic characteristics showed that the groups of women, teenager, five millions won and over to six millions won in monthly income have higher wearing satisfaction than the other groups.

        초등교원의 사회·인구학적 특성이 저출산 및 고령화 인식에 미치는 영향

        This study set out to investigate elementary school teachers' perceptions and values to hugely influence the fertility- and the elderly-friendly perceptions and values of elementary school students and to secure basic data for the directions of in-service teacher training about low fertility and aging. For those purposes, three research questions were set: first, what are elementary school teachers' general perceptions and values of low fertility and aging? Second, is there any difference in their perceptions according to their social and demographic characteristics? And third, what are the factors to affect their principal values? And using convenience sampling, 274 elementary school teachers across the nation were surveyed. The research findings were as follows : the elementary school teachers did not have a good idea about the current state, causes, problems, need for value education and solutions of low fertility and aging. There were big differences in their perceptions of the issues according to their social and demographic characteristics. In addition, their social experiences and the variables of their living and cultural environments had positive or negative influences on their principal values regarding low fertility and aging. The educational authorities should recognize the urgency of converting the teachers' perceptions into positive ones in value education in preparation for low fertility and aging society and plan in-service training programs by fully considering the differences in their perceptions according to their social and demographic characteristics and the impacts of the concerned variables on their values. 본 연구는 초등학생의 출산 친화 및 노인 친화적 가치관 정립에 지대한 영향을 미치고 있는 초등학교 교사의 인식과 가치관을 살펴봄으로써 앞으로 전개될 저출산·고령화 관련 교사연수의 방향설정에 필요한 기초자료를 확보하는 데 목적이 있다. 이러한 취지하에 전국의 현직 초등학교 교사 274명을 대상으로 저출산 및 고령화에 대한 일반적 인식과 가치관에 관한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석한 결과 초등학교 교사들은 우리나라 저출산·고령화의 현황, 원인, 문제점, 가치교육의 필요성, 해결방안 등 사안의 전반에 대해서 잘 모르고 있었으며, 그들의 사회․인구학적 특성에 따라 상당한 인식의 차이를 보였다. 또 교사들의 사회적 경험과 생활 문화적 환경 변인들은 그들의 저출산·고령화 관련 주요가치관에 긍정적 또는 부정적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 향후 교육당국에서는 저출산·고령화 사회를 대비한 가치교육에서 무엇보다 초등학교 교사들의 긍정적인 인식전환이 시급함을 인지하고, 그들의 사회·인구학적 특성에 따른 인식의 차이와 관련 변인들이 가치관에 미치는 영향을 충분히 고려한 교사연수 프로그램을 계획해야 할 것이다.
