        This study is to understand how fluidity and natural features of Art Nouveau style are reflected in hair style of Art Nouveau age and Modern age and be a help to the trend analysis of hair style in the future. The study is conducted with the research on Art Nouveau expression in hair style and analysis of hair-show, trend presentation, documents related with hair style, TV drama, theses, journals and internet etc through advance research for Art Nouveau and Hair. The result of the analysis on Art Nouveau pattern in hair design is presented as below. First, it shows rounded, winding, flowing and thick-waved style of Art Nouveau pattern in modern long and short hair style. It also shows the beauty of long, bending and flexible lines, waving liveness and thin and slim lines and this is the Art Nouveau pattern that is also applied to other fields. In terms of decoration, it does not use tree vines, leaves and petals that are expressed in paintings of Art Nouveau age. Second, it shows natural up-style by lifting hair up with waved long hair that is one pattern of Art Nouveau and expresses hair style with feathers of birds, tree vines, leaves and petals etc for more decoration in animal pattern to make cute, romantic and elegant style in hair style.

        Hair Art 정의와 분류에 관한 연구

        This thesis aimed to give a definition and classification of hair art based on general art and fashion art`s theories. This will solve the problems of confusing definition and classification of hair art made by few basis. The results of this thesis are as belows. 1. The category of hair art enlarged from applied art to fine art. 2. The definition and classification of hair art are as belows. 1) unwearable hair art : It`s a field of fine art. It`s unwearable on human head and hair but related only motif and inspiration with head and hair. 2) wearable hair art : It`s a field of applied art. It`s wearable on human head and hair. It is divided two categories according to practicality of daily uses. (1) aesthetic wearable hair art : It`s a field of applied art near to fine art. It can be wearable but not pragmatic for daily use. It only stress on hair designer`s aesthetic sensibility. It can directly lead creating a new hair styles. (2) pragmatic wearable hair art : It`s a field of applied art. It can be wearable and pragmatic for daily use. It has relations with hair industry, hair fashion trend, hair design, and cooperative system with hair designers and customers. 3. Hair art definition concludes fine arctic & applied arctic ones. So traditional definition of hair art must be revised. 4 The previous researches of hair art definition, which are designate only fine artic hair art to hair art, are must be revised.

        소나무를 모티브로 한 헤어아트 연구

        Nature can be a great contribution in Art. This creates an emotional impact and peace in spirit to human being. 'Hair Art' is a follow-up study based on the various artistic point of view. There has been various works of 'Hair Art' with nature materials. However, it is rare to see a work of 'Hair Art' with the pine. That's why I've decided to study more about this. It is a new experiment in 'Hair Art' against a conventional idea " Hair Art values practicability." Therefore, the primary goal of this study is to do much for the cause of learning in 'Hair Art' and encourage some development of 'Hair Art' industry. I've researched an image of a pine tree in art of Joseon Dynasty and contemporary art. Then I've tried to apply it to a work of 'Hair Art'. First of all, to express the Oriental thought of 'integrity and fidelity' symbolically, the artists in Joseon Dynasty used to draw a picture of a pine tree with a paintbrush but the modem artists make a new attempt from the thought of Modernism. We can find it in some photos. Next, to express traditional Oriental idea such as 'unconventional and elegance', contemporary artist's choose a pine tree as an object of their works like pen and ink sketches, from the thought of Modernism. Thirdly, in a fusion style picture which contains features of both Oriental paintings and Western paintings and in a sexualism style picture that depicts a harmony of a male and a female as a shape of a pine, we can find colorful images of a pine tree and it's figurative beauty in art. In conclusion, the implication of the pine tree still hasn't changed even there are differences of drawings of pine tree in the past and the present. I've tried to combine this idea with 'Hair Art' and made 5 hair styles. Throughout the process of researching this topic 'The Study of Hair Art Using The Pine', I've realized that pine trees make it possible to express intrinsic tough spirit of human being, abundance in color and figurative beauty in art. I hope that this can be a contribution to the field of 'Hair Art' and would become an important educational resource for further study.

The research which sees leads and Korean modem sculpture of a creates the hair art which applies the post modernism fine arts with motive as in ‘hair art’ today the sculpture of a image, substituted and expressed with the formative arts. Like this image today produced 4 kind hair arts with the motive which is a reappearance of the sculpture work to get the motive from the sculptor work. This is various the hair in piece construction and as the work where today again with hair art theory scholastically about hair art and with background likens features of sculpture of a construction re-is born gain and loss receiving in artistic form of new form, was an effort for. The research which sees leads and expresses a hair art with motive as in one field of new art to establish the location, the possibility of being sufficient the side which is not will provide the chance which extends the scope of creation about under re-illuminating from utility beauty care and there being a possibility the hair art the place catching one day quickly in one field of art expects the sculpture work.

        현대 아트헤어에 관한 연구

          This study is on the new trend, art hair in the hair art. The new concepts such as unwearable hair, hair sculpture, hair decoration, studio hair design, session style represent that new trend, different from traditional hair art, is generalized at the present day. Traditional hair art as a field of formative art has several limitations in expression of artist"s idea, choice of material, operation time, secondary art. Art hair is free from such limitations, and not affected directly by the change of fashion and commercial need. Art hair can be defined as a field of original art which choose hair as a raw material for the expression of artist"s philosophy and mental image, and fits for Tatarkiewicz"s point of view for art. Art hair has several expression style, a style employing traditional expression technique, a style employing obzee, a style employing brading and extension etc. The history of art hair begins in the late 20th century by artists working with celebrities and super models. As a conclusion, art hair, a new field of 20th hair art, can be characterized like this, pure art having independent artistic value, an art free from commercial need and change of fashion, art free from special limitation of traditional hiar art, art making unwearable works different from traditional making wearable works.

        아르데코 양식을 응용한 헤어스타일 연구 - 1920~30년 유럽과 미국의 여성 헤어스타일 중심으로 -

        Art Deco was born in 1925. The name was derived from the 1925 Exposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifs Industriels et Modernes, held in Paris, which celebrated living in the modern world. Art Deco is essentially a style of decoration which was applied to fashion as well as architecture, general art and hair style. Most share the hallmarks of geometry and simplicity, often combined with vibrant colors and simple shapes that celebrated the rise of commerce and technology. Fundamental characteristics of Art Deco are using of vivid color and stark, geometric shapes which influenced every aspects of life worldwide. Everything was geometric and cubic. Clean shapes and straight lines are emphasized. No practical function are left out to allow for the sleek lines and streamlined geometric shapes. The Art Deco style infused the everyday world with an elegant style of cool sophistication. The role of women changed during World War I. Most women wore very short hair called bob hair style. The bob was created, not so much by a stylist, but by a frenzy of political change. Women worked during WWI to help with the war effort. With this new lifestyle, it became desirable to simplify. They needed simpler, practical short hair. The original style was worn straight and flat on top The purpose of this study is to understand the characteristics of Art Deco applied to women's hair style and rediscover the value of Art Deco as well as reorganize it in the taste of 21 century.         장식을 이용한 헤어아트 연구

        People keep applying for variety of ornament and object to express sensuous and originality with remix object to the hair. On this research give a molding ability of art to hair then highlight the HAIR ART as new part of study. there is a lot of examples to make object to artistic exclude character of natural like painting, construction and dressing. According to this research, define the concept of HAIR ART, and there is a goal to extension of creating along with re-highlight the area, and make it more useful. Also, create the piece of work with the big meaning which is useful, the way of expression and meaning of ornament using. The way of this research is studying date with the piece of work in exhibitant for studying of define general idea and creating step of HAIR ART. and I found pictures of magazine, relation books, earlier research, and collection out for changing image of outside because of ornaments that using HAIR ART like feather ornaments on ART WEAR. Like this contents, will create three originality piece of work to express variety of feather ornaments. This research is HAIR ART work research which gives molding ability in arts side. This is new challenge to get out of limited prejudice of utility beauty culture. The art side of research is really lively in painting, construction, and dressing areas but the HAIR ART is not really lively so it is very needful to studying in HAIR ART area. There is big goal to check aesthetic value ,extension area of creation and define ART HAIR as HAIR ART. According to this, the result of three works are like below. 1. 'Fragrance' represents various kinds of fragrances of modern people in their busy lives using purple, yellow, orange and green feather. 2. 'Love' symbolize the national flag and flower of Korea (Taegeukgi and Mugeounghwa). It is made up of the royal count style so that it represents a unique taste. 3. 'Journey' represents that every single action of life is a long journey while it can be an opportunity for an another refreshment using a black-white feather. Through out the this research, we find out the location of new art area relation with ART WEAR and HAIR ART with feather ornaments. Also, now the feather ornament is defined one of beauty are as HAIR ART. and give a direction of new education way of HAIR ART area, that was not enough in utility beauty area.

        천경자화백의 작품을 모티브로 한 헤어아트 연구

        21세기는 예술문화가 상호보완적 관계로 다윈주의 현상이 일어나 장르의 경계가 해체되는 새로운 문화가 형성되고 있다. 부용예술인 헤어미용은 모발이라는 소재의 제한적 한계에 부딪히고 있으며 이를 극복하기 위해 새로운 디자인 개발과 창의성을 필요로 하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 폐 모발을 소재로 한 헤어아트에 대한 선행연구, 관련서적, 문헌자료, 인터넷을 바탕으로 이론적 고찰을 실시하였고 사진을 통하여 천경자 화백 작품의 이미지 특성을 분석하여 다양하고 창의적인 헤어아트 특성을 감각적으로 조합하여 버려진 폐 모발을 소재로 미술적 측면에서 천경자화백의 작품을 모티브로 조형성을 부여하고 시각화하여 예술 가치로서의 가치를 추구하고 새로운 가치를 창출하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 더 나아가 사회, 문화로서 대중들에게 작품의 다양성과 특수성을 미용인뿐만 아니라 누구나 쉽게 이해하고 실용화 할 수 있도록 전시회 및 교육 자료로 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 실증적 연구에서는 폐 모발을 소재로 한 헤어아트를 기반으로 천 경자 화백 작품을 분석하여 총 4작품을 제작하였다. 작품 Ⅰ ‘황금의 비’ 에서는 여인의 머리카락이 바람에 날리는 듯 머리카락을 붙이고 그 위에 금색과 레몬색, 흰색 칼라의 머리카락 가루를 뿌려 차가운 느낌을 표현하였다. 꽃의 여인, 대자연의 여왕 같은 위엄을 표현한 작품이다. 작품 Ⅱ ‘길례언니’ 에서는 여인의 머리위에 다양한 칼라의 꽃을 만들어 장식하였다. 화면 전체에 노란색 머리카락 가루를 뿌려 부드러운 여인상으로 청순하고 맑은 이미지를 표현한 작품이다. 작품 Ⅲ ‘막은 내리고’ 에서는 하와이 원주민 무용수들을 표현하기 위해 여인의 머리에 머리카락을 붙이고 다양한 칼라의 꽃을 만들어 여인의 머리와 손에 장식하였다. 노란색과 녹색칼라의 머리카락 가루를 고루 뿌려 여성얼굴의 강렬한 분위기와 화려함을 강조한 작품이다. 작품 Ⅳ ‘아열대’ 에서는 여성의 상징을 지니고 있는 다양한 칼라의 꽃을 만들어 화병위에 장식하고 화병속의 여인의 머리에는 머리카락을 붙였다. 초록색과 노란색 칼라의 머리카락 가루를 뿌려 아름다운 색체의 향연을 벌이고 있는 화병속의 여인을 표현한 작품이다. 이상과 같이 천 경자 화백 작품을 모티브로 한 헤어아트 작품을 연구하였다. 본 연구의 제한점은 천경자화백의 일부 작품을 모티브로 작품을 제작한 것이다. 앞으로 더 많은 작품을 모티브로 다른 미술작가들의 작품을 모티브로 한 작품이 요구되며 소재 및 새롭고 다양한 헤어아트 작품 연구가 이루어진다면 미용인뿐만 아니라 누구나 쉽게 이해하고 실용화 할 수 있으므로 헤어아트가 예술의 한 부분으로 자리매김 하는데 도움이 될 것이라 사료된다. Owing to the pluralism in the complementary relation between art and culture in the 21st century, there is a new culture breaking the boundary of genre. As customized-art, hair art is facing the material limitation of hair, and in order to overcome it, it would be necessary to have new design development and creativity. The objective of this study is to conduct a theoretical consideration based on preceding researches, relevant books, literary data, and internet about hair art using paemobal, and also to pursue the artistic value and to create new values by analyzing the image characteristics of Cheongyungja's works though photos, sensuously combining the diverse and creative characteristics of hair art, and giving formativeness and visualizing with the motif of Cheongyungja's works in the artistic aspect using paemobal. Moreover, it aims to provide the diversity and specialties of works to the public as society and culture for commercialization as exhibition/educational materials. In the empirical research, analyzing Cheongyungja's works based on hair art using paemobal, total four works were produced, and the results are like below. < WorkⅠ > Among Cheongyungja's works, in ‘Rain of Yellow Gold', a cold feeling was expressed by attaching hair just like wind blows hair and then sprinkling hair powder in gold, lemon, and white colors on it. It is the work expressing the dignity just like the queen of mother nature and a woman of flower. < WorkⅡ > Among Cheongyungja's works, in ‘Sister Gille’, the woman's hair was decorated with flowers in rainbow colors. It is the work expressing the pure and clean image of a woman by sprinkling yellow hair powder on the whole screen. < WorkⅢ > Among Cheongyungja's works, in ‘Dropping the Curtain’, to express Hawaiian native dancers, hair was attached to women's heads and then their heads and hands were decorated with flowers in red, yellow, orange, and purple colors. It is the work emphasizing the glamorousness and strong mood of women's face by evenly sprinkling yellow and green hair powder. < WorkⅣ > Among Cheongyungja's works, in ‘the Subtropics’, the vase was decorated with various colored flowers symbolizing woman and the woman's head in the vase was attached with hair. It is the work expressing a woman in the vase with the feast of beautiful colors by sprinkling green and yellow hair powder. Just like the results above, hair art works with the motif of Cheongyungja's works were researched. The limitation of this study is to produce works with the motif of some works by Cheongyungja. If more works are used for the motif, better results would be drawn in the future. On top of Cheongyungja's works, it would be necessary to have works with the motif of other artists' works. More researches on new and diverse hair art works would be helpful to the settlement of hair art as an art as it could be easily understood and commercialized by everyone including hair designers.

        로이 리히텐슈타인의 회화 모티브 특성을 응용한 헤어아트 연구

        연구배경 조형예술의 한 부분인 헤어아트로서의 창작의 범위를 넓혀서 미술의 회화적인 측면에서 조형성을 부여하고자 한다. 또한 로이 리히텐슈타인의 팝아트 작품에서 이미지를 차용해 디자인하고 헤어피스를 이용한 창의적 헤어아트 작품을 제작하였다. 이러한 작품제작을 통해 앞으로의 헤어아트 디자인에 있어서 예술의 새로운 표현의 한 부분으로 받아들여지는데 도움을 주고자 한다. 연구방법 로이 리히텐슈타인의 회화작품 특징과 표현기법과 헤어아트의 개념 및 특성, 헤어아트의 분류에 대해서 고찰하고, 로이 리히텐슈타인 회화 작품을 응용하여 총 4개의 다양한 헤어아트 작품을 제작하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 로이 리히텐슈타인의 작품의 특징은 만화 광고의 이미지를 차용하여 작품들을 주로 제작하였으며 벤 데이 망점과 환등기 사용, 윤곽선, 만화적인 이미지와 대화풍선으로 세가지로 나눌 수 있다. 둘째, 헤어아트의 분류는 헤어장식 헤어아트, 회화적 헤어아트, 조형적 헤어아트로 분류할 수 있다. 셋째, 로이 리히텐슈타인의 회화를 차용하여 그림을 재분할하여서 일러스트를 그린 후 아크릴 물감으로 채색하고, 그 위에 매니큐어로 색을 입힌 헤어피스를 사용하여 다양한 콜라주 기법, 뿌리기, 땋기, 붙이기 방법을 이용하여서 총 4작품을 제작하였다. 결론 로이 리히텐슈타인의 팝아트 회화 작품이 화려하고 단순한 형태의 헤어아트 작품 개발을 위한 새로운 모티브로 제공될 수 있었음을 알 수가 있었다. Background This study aims to assign formativeness from the painterly aspects of art by establishing the concept and classification of Hair Art, producing works and widening the range of creation as Hair Art which is a part of formative art. Also, a creative Hair Art work was produced with hair pieces after making a design by borrowing images from Roy Lichtenstein`s pop art works. Further, this work production is meant to offer assistance to Hair Art design in its acceptance as a new part of expression of art. Methods The characteristics and work expression method of Roy`s pop art works and his concept, characteristic and classification of Hair Art were considered and studied. Applying his pop art works, a total of four various Hair Art works were produced. Result First, the characteristic of Roy Lichtenstein`s works is that he produced works mostly by borrowing the image of comic-style advertising as a means of properly expressing the US mass society in the 1960s. In addition, Roy Lichtenstein`s expressive techniques can be roughly divided into the three sorts, i.e. Ben-day dot & use of a slide projector, outlines, and cartoony image & narrative balloon. Second, Hair Art can be classified into headdress Hair Art, painterly Hair Art, and formative Hair Art. Third, this study drew illustrations through the subdivision of a picture by borrowing Roy Lichtenstein`s paintings, and then did coloring with acrylic paint, and created a hair piece colored by menikyueo on illustrations, finally producing a total of 4 works using various collage techniques, sprinkling method, braiding method and putting method, etc. Conclusion Roy Lichtenstein`s pop art paintings played a role as a new motif for the development of a colorful but simple form of Hair Art works.

        팅가팅가를 모티브로 한 회화적 헤어아트 교구 개발

        팅가팅가는 아프리카 현대 미술을 대표하는 그림 장르로서 아프리카인들의 세계관과 삶에 대한 철학을 담고 있다. 팅가팅가 그림의 단순한 구성과 간결한 형태, 원색에 가까운 다채로운 색감은 헤어아트 디자인 교육 시 학습자 감성 배양에 효과적일 매체로 사료되어, 이에 본 연구는 팅가팅가를 활용한 회화적 헤어아트 교구를 개발하고자 하였다. 총 4점의 헤어아트 교구는 표범, 얼룩말, 사자, 바오밥 나무와 새 등을 모티브로 하였으며 4점의 작품 간에는 순서적 연계성을 두어 후반으로 갈수록 난이도를 높게 구성하였다. 스텐실 기법을 활용하여 도안을 제작하고 헤어아트의 주된 기법인 가루뿌리기와 입체형태 만들기 방법을 사용하여 제작하였다. 연구 결과 헤어아트를 배우고자 하는 학습자들에게 표준화된 회화적 헤어아트 교구로 활용될 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 교수자와 학습자의 응용력에 따라 다양한 구성으로 변형되어 활용될 수 있는 가능성도 발견할 수 있었다. 팅가팅가는 장르를 개척한 창시자를 넘어서 그의 계승자들에 의해 무한히 확장 중에 있으며 창시자의 정신은 가지되 형태적 다양성을 지닌 그림들을 그려내고 있다. 이러한 팅가팅가 그림들은 회화적 헤어아트의 디자인 교육 매체로서 앞으로도 지속적으로 활용될 수 있는 가치가 있으리라 사료된다. 헤어아트 디자인 교육은 무형의 기술을 전수하여 유형의 형태를 만들어내는 과정이기 때문에 흥미롭고 표준화된 교육매체를 활용한다면 한정된 시간에 교육의 효율성을 더 높일 수 있다고 생각한다. 그렇기에 회화적 헤어아트 외에도 공예나 조형적 헤어아트 분야에서도 교구 개발에 대한 후속 연구가 활발히 이루어지길 바란다. Tingatinga is a painting genre that represents contemporary African art, and contains the philosophy of the world and life of Africans. As it is thought that the simple composition, and concise form of Tingatinga paintings and their variegated colors close to primary colors are considered as effective media for cultivating learners’ emotions during hair art design education, thus, this study attempted to develop pictorial hair art teaching tools using Tingatinga. A total of four hair art teaching tools (works) were motives such as leopards, zebras, lions, baobab trees and birds, and there is a sequential connection between the four works, and the difficulty of the composition increases toward the second half. The design was made using the stencil technique, and it was made using the main techniques of hair art, dusting powder and three-dimensional shape making.
