DOB-based piezoelectric vibration control for stiffened plate considering accelerometer measurement noise

        Li, Shengquan,Zhao, Rong,Li, Juan,Mo, Yueping,Sun, Zhenyu Techno-Press 2014 Smart Structures and Systems, An International Jou Vol.14 No.3

This paper presents a composite control strategy for the active suppression of vibration due to the unknown disturbances, such as external excitation, harmonic effects and control spillover, as well as high-frequency accelerometer measurement noise in the all-clamped stiffened plate. The proposed composite control action based on the modal approach, consists of two contributions including feedback part and feedforward part. The feedback part is the well-known PID controller, which is widely used to increase the structure damping and improve its dynamic performance close to the resonance frequencies. In order to get better performance for vibration suppression, the weight matrixes is optimized by chaos sequence. Then an improved disturbance observer (IDOB) as the feedforward compensation part is developed to enhance the vibration suppression performance of PID under various disturbances and uncertainties. The proposed IDOB can simultaneously estimate the various disturbances dynamically as well as measurement noise acting on the system and suppress them by feedforward compensation design. A rigorous analysis is also given to show why the IDOB can effectively suppress the unknown disturbances and measurement noise. In order to verify the proposed composite control algorithm (IDOB-PID), the dSPACE real-time simulation platform is used and an experimental platform for the all-clamped stiffened plate active vibration control system is set up. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness, practicality and strong anti-disturbances ability of the proposed control strategy.

Screening of Recurrence Related MicroRNA in Ductal Carcinoma In Situ and Functional Study of MicroRNA-654-5p

        Shi Li,Tianjie Pu,Lin Xiao,Hongwei Gao,Li Li,Feng Ye,Yueping Liu,Hong Bu 한국유방암학회 2019 Journal of breast cancer Vol.22 No.1

Purpose: Ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) contributes to 20%–30% of newly diagnosed cases of breast cancer in China. Although the breast cancer-specific mortality of DCIS is extremely low, a small proportion of DCIS patients still show relapse or metastasis, leading to poor prognosis. Little is known about the molecular mechanism for DCIS metastasis, partly due to the limited number of poor prognosis patients. This study analyzed the clinicopathological features and screened key microRNAs (miRNAs) contributing to local or distant recurrence. Methods: The clinicopathological features of DCIS were evaluated and survival analysis were performed to clarify risk factors associated with poor prognosis. Using miRNA arrays and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) on DCIS formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded samples with or without microinvasion with different clinical outcomes, potential DCIS metastasis-related miRNAs were screened out and further validated. The influence of one identified miRNA, miRNA-654-5p, on DCIS progression was analyzed. Results: Poor prognosis was significantly associated with larger tumor size and higher lymph node metastasis rate (both p < 0.05). Both were independent prognostic factors for DCIS. According to RT-qPCR results, distinct miRNA expression profiles were identified between DCIS and DCIS with microinvasion (DCIS-Mi) patients. In the DCIS panel, miRNA-654-5p was significantly upregulated in the patients with poor prognosis. In vitro, miRNA-654-5p promoted MDA-MB-231 cell mobility in healing tests and metastasis in the Transwell study. Conclusion: The panel of high-risk miRNAs in DCIS and DCIS-Mi differs markedly. miRNA-654-5p is significantly upregulated DCIS patients having poor prognosis and may be essential for local and distant recurrence in DCIS.

In silico discovery of genes encoding insecticide targets and detoxifying enzymes in Brevicoryne brassicae and Lipaphis erysimi

        Wenhong Li,Yu-Cheng Zhu,Fengliang Li,Yueping He 한국응용곤충학회 2020 Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology Vol.23 No.1

The aphid complex (Brevicoryne brassicae, Lipaphis erysimi and Myzus persicae) in cruciferous crops are extremely similar in appearance but they however showed differences in their levels of susceptibilities to various insecticides. The lacking of genomic and transcriptomic information on B. brassicae and L. erysimi limits our understanding of resistance status among aphid species at the molecular level. Based on the mining of the public transcriptome data, we identified a number of genes encoding three detoxifying enzymes, carboxylesterases (containing acetylcholinesterases), cytochrome P450s, and glutathione S-transferases. Several insecticide targets were also identified, such as acetylcholinesterase, nicotinic acetylcholine receptor, γ-aminobutyric acid gated ion channel, glutamate receptor, the voltage-gated sodium channel, ryanodine receptor, transient receptor potential vanilloid channel, and inward-rectifier potassium channel. Our study provides genetic information for understanding the diversity of insecticide resistance occurring among cruciferous aphids, which could meaningfully contribute towards complementing future related studies.

      • A Fast Multi-level Layout for Social Network Visualization

Xiaolin Du,Yunming Ye,Yueping Li,Ge Song 보안공학연구지원센터 2014 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.9 No.12

We describe a fast multi-level layout for visualizing social networks, which can visualize social networks high quality and rapidly. There are two innovations in our fast multi-level layout. Firstly, we proposed a new graph multi-layered compression method based on random walk. The multi-layered compression process groups vertices to form “planet” systems and then abstract these “planet” systems as new vertices to define a new graph and is repeated until the graph size falls below some threshold. And we also proposed a new single level force-directed layout based on sampling. The multi-level layout process can be accelerated based on these two innovations. Finally, we have evaluated our layout on several well-known data sets. The experimental results show that our layout outperforms the state-of-the-art method.

Nuciferine modulates the gut microbiota and prevents obesity in high-fat diet-fed rats

        Wang Yueping,Yao Weifan,Li Bo,Qian Shiyun,Wei Binbin,Gong Shiqiang,Wang Jing,Liu Mingyan,Wei Minjie 생화학분자생물학회 2020 Experimental and molecular medicine Vol.52 No.-

Gut microbiota dysbiosis has a significant role in the pathogenesis of metabolic diseases, including obesity. Nuciferine (NUC) is a main bioactive component in the lotus leaf that has been used as food in China since ancient times. Here, we examined whether the anti-obesity effects of NUC are related to modulations in the gut microbiota. Using an obese rat model fed a HFD for 8 weeks, we show that NUC supplementation of HFD rats prevents weight gain, reduces fat accumulation, and ameliorates lipid metabolic disorders. Furthermore, 16S rRNA gene sequencing of the fecal microbiota suggested that NUC changed the diversity and composition of the gut microbiota in HFD-fed rats. In particular, NUC decreased the ratio of the phyla Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes, the relative abundance of the LPS-producing genus Desulfovibrio and bacteria involved in lipid metabolism, whereas it increased the relative abundance of SCFA-producing bacteria in HFD-fed rats. Predicted functional analysis of microbial communities showed that NUC modified genes involved in LPS biosynthesis and lipid metabolism. In addition, serum metabolomics analysis revealed that NUC effectively improved HFD-induced disorders of endogenous metabolism, especially lipid metabolism. Notably, NUC promoted SCFA production and enhanced intestinal integrity, leading to lower blood endotoxemia to reduce inflammation in HFD-fed rats. Together, the anti-obesity effects of NUC may be related to modulations in the composition and potential function of gut microbiota, improvement in intestinal barrier integrity and prevention of chronic low-grade inflammation. This research may provide support for the application of NUC in the prevention and treatment of obesity.

      • Quality Evaluation and Automatic Classification in Resistance Spot Welding by Analyzing the Weld Image on Metal Bands by Computer Vision

Yang ou,Li yueping 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Signal Processing, Image Vol.8 No.5

This paper introduces a novel method for the quality evaluation of resistance spot welds. The evaluation is based on computer vision methods, which allow nondestructive on-line real-time processing. The input of the system is the image of a weld imprint on a metal band which covers the electrodes against wear and soiling. In order to find the position of the resistance spot welds, we describe an image registration method based on geometric pattern matching for alignment system in metal parts. Further we extract features describing the shape of localized objects in segmented images .Using these shape descriptors (geometric feature) we classify the defects by Artificial Neural Network.

Immunohistochemical Localization of Endogenous IAA in Peach (Prunus persica L.) Fruit during Development

        Zhang, Wei,Li, Yang,Shi, Mengya,Hu, Hao,Hua, Baoguang,Yang, Aizhen,Liu, Yueping Korean Society of Horticultural Science 2015 원예과학기술지 Vol.33 No.3

Peach (Prunus persica L.) is a model species for stone fruit studies within the Rosaceae family. Auxin plays an important role in the development of peach fruit. To reveal the distribution of auxin in the tissues of peach fruit, immunohistochemical localization of IAA was carried out in the seed, mesocarp, and endocarp in developing peach fruit using an anti-indole-3-acetic acid (anti-IAA) monoclonal antibody. A strong IAA signal was observed throughout the outer and inner integument during peach fruit development, and the distribution was zonal. The IAA signal was mainly focused in mucilage layers in the outer integument. The outer integument may function to produce or store IAA in the seed; a strong IAA signal was detected in the cells around the vascular tissue, whereas a weak IAA signal was located in the vascular tissues. In the mesocarp, the cells around the vascular bundle tissue gave rise to an IAA signal that increased in the late phase of fruit growth, which coincided with a significant increase in fruit growth. The distribution of IAA, however, was changed when fruit was treated with auxin transport inhibitors NPA (1-N-naphthylphthalamic acid) or TIBA (2, 3, 5-triiodobenzoic acid); in mesocarp tissues, an IAA signal was detected mainly in vessels of the treated fruit. During the critical period of endocarp lignification, the vessel lignification process was negatively correlated with IAA signal. The present results confirmed that the distribution of IAA was different in various tissues of peach fruit according to the developmental stage. This research provides cytological data for further study of the regulatory mechanism of auxin in peach fruit.

        Size Wu,Ruixia Nan,Yueping Li,Xiaojing Cui,Xian Liang,Yanan Zhao 대한초음파의학회 2016 ULTRASONOGRAPHY Vol.35 No.3

Purpose: The aim of this study was to measure the elasticity of normal placentas using the VirtualTouch quantification (VTQ) technique. Methods: This study was approved by the Institutional Ethics Committee. Fifty randomly selected, healthy pregnant women in their second trimester and 50 randomly selected, healthy pregnantwomen in their third trimester with a single fetus were included, and their placentas underwentVTQ through shear wave velocity (SWV) measurements. The measurements were performed atdifferent locations to sample different areas of the placenta. Measurements were performed 3-4times in each location, the mean shear wave velocities were calculated without the highest andlowest values of measurements in each region, and the results were compared. Results: The SWV of the placenta was 0.983±0.260 m/sec, and the minimal and maximal speedwas 0.63 m/sec and 1.84 m/sec, respectively. There was no significant difference between thesecond and third trimester of VTQ of the placenta in terms of SWV (0.978±0.255 m/sec vs. 0.987±0.266 m/sec, P=0.711). The maternal age between second and third trimester was27.9±4.3 years and 29.2±4.4 years, respectively; there was no significant difference betweenthem (P=0.159). Conclusion: The results of this study show that the SWV of normal placenta tissue is 0.983±0.260m/sec, it has little variation between the second and third trimesters, and the VTQ technique maypotentially play an additional role in placenta evaluation.
