      • 전통문화와 아시아 국가의 "섬" 관광

        랴오, 쉰 제주대학교 동아시아연구소 1997 東아시아硏究論叢 Vol.8 No.-

        본문의 내용은 주로 중국 전통문화와 현대 관광업과의 상호관계에 한정하고 언급하고 있다. 그 내용 가운데에는 적극적인 면과 소극적인 면이 내재되어 있는데, 두가지 모두 해남성 관광 정책 및 그에 수반된 여러가지 정책을 수립·결정하는데 많은 영향력을 행사하고 있다. 해남성의 관광 정책은 전통문화를 유지하고 이를 널리 홍보하기 위한 적극적인 점에 기초하여 실시하고 있는데, 이 방면에 있어서는 제주나 오키나와, 발리의 관광정책을 참고할 필요가 있다고 생각된다. 아울러 이들 지역 관광사업의 발전을 위해서는 관광객의 상호 교류, 관광상품의 공동 판촉도 중요하지만 기생관광이나 카지노 등에 한정되어 있는 현재의 관광 추세을 극복하려면 4개국이 자주 한 자리에 모여 심각한 연구 토론 및 공동의 협력 발전을 위한 계기가 우선 마련되어야 함을 주장 하고 싶다. 먼저 이처럼 우리들에게 아시아 "섬"들의 공동 협력을 통한 발전의 계기를 마련해 주시고, 특히 관광업과 문화교류와의 관계에 대해 전문적인 토론의 장까지 베풀어 주신 한국 제주도 각계 각층의 인사들에게 고마운 말씀부터 드리고 싶다. 한국의 제주도, 일본의 오키나와 중국의 해남도, 그 리고 인도네시아의 발리 4개의 “섬”은 모두 자국의 최남단 혹은 남부에 위치해 있는 "섬" 관광지이다. 북온대성 기후대에 위치해 있는 한국·일본·중국 3개국 사람들은 겨울철 제주나 오키나와·해남도에서 혹한을 피할 수 있으며, 열대 기후대에 속하는 인도네시아 주민들은 발리에서 여름철 피서를 즐길 수 있습니다. 따라서 자국의 입장에서 말한다면 이 4개의 "섬"들은 겨울철의 기후가 그 나라 사람들에게 가장 알맞고, 풍광마저 수려하여 관광객들에게 매력있는 곳으로 꼽히고 있다. 우리 아시아 4개국은 문화나 역사전통 등 여러방면에 있어 서방 국가들과는 상이한 수많은 특징을 보유하고 있기 때문에 이처럼 이들 지역에 대한 관광업 관광정책 및 전통문화와 가치관과의 관계에 대해 연구 토론의 기회를 마련하는 것은 상호간의 협력을 촉진시키는데에 유익할 뿐만 아니라, 나아가 우리들 자신이 보유하고 있는 공통 혹은 고유의 관광문화를 새로 발견하고, 발전시키는데에도 않은 도움이 될 것입니다. 이슬람 문명에 대해서는 본인의 지식이 일천하기 때문에 본문에서 언급하는 "전통문화"는 주로 유교문화를 중심으로 한 중국의 전통문화에 근거하여 언급하고 있음을 미리 양해해 주기 바란다.

        Magnetic Properties and Microstructure of DyAlCu-diffusion Sintered Nd-Fe-B Magnets

        The ability to improve the coercivity of sintered Nd-Fe-B diffused by Dy-Al-Cu alloy derived from electrolysis in a fluoride salt-oxide system was evaluated. The results show that with the increase in heat treatment time, the coercivity of the magnet firstly increased and then decreased. Holding at 900 ℃ for 4 h, tempering at low temperature for 3 h at 550 ℃, the coercivity of GBDPed magnet increased by 44.34 %, the remanence decreased by 1.26 %, the Dy-rich shell phase was recognizable, and the Nd-rich phase evenly distributed. Electron microscope analysis showed that when the GBDP time was longer than 4h, the diffusion of Dy from the shell phase to the matrix phase dominated, decreasing the coercivity with the increase in the diffusion time. The increase of Fe content in the grain boundary phase enhanced the exchange coupling between grains, which also reduced the coercivity of the GBDPed magnet. The infiltration of the matrix phase by excessive Dy and deterioration of (00L) texture of Nd-Fe-B resulted in the reduction of the remanence and the maximum energy product.

        Neonicotinoid insecticide resistance in the field populations of Sogatella furcifera (Horváth) in Central China from 2011 to 2015

        The whitebacked planthopper Sogatella furcifera (Horváth) is an important pest of rice throughout Asia. Application of chemical insecticide is the main approach to suppress the field populations of S. furcifera. In this study, neonicotinoid insecticide resistance in field populations of S. furcifera were evaluated. The results showed that some field populations of S. furcifera had developed moderate level of resistance to imidacloprid (RR =1.1–16.4), thiamethoxam (RR=0.8–14.9), dinotefuran (RR =1.2–16.6) and acetamiprid (RR =3.3–12.2), low level of resistance to nitenpyram (RR=1.1–9.5) and clothianidin (RR =1.3–8.7) in Central China. Moreover, there were an increasing trend in neonicotinoid insecticide resistance in the period 2011–2015. The results of current study may form the basis to identify and evaluate the resistance tendency of S. furcifera against neonicotinoid insecticides, which could make effective management recommendations to avoid further development of insecticide resistance in S. furcifera.

        Influence of the Electrolytic Dy-Cu alloy on the Coercivity of Sintered Nd-Fe-B Magnet

        The fluorine salt oxide molten-salt electrolytic Dy-Cu alloy was used as a grain boundary diffusion source instead of the doped Dy-Cu alloy. The microstructure and coercivity of the GBDPed magnets with the different diffusion times were studied. The results show that the coercivity increased with the increase in the GBDP time. The ability of the electrolytic Dy-Cu alloy to improve the coercivity of Nd-Fe-B is more advantageous than that of the doped Dy-Cu alloy. Microstructure analysis shows that the segregation and metal inclusion, a small amount of Dy2O3, and the poor synergy diffusion between Dy and Cu lead to the unsatisfactory performance of the doped Dy-Cu alloy to improve the coercivity. The diffusion rate and depth of the GBD source improved by replacing the doped alloy with an electrolytic alloy.

        The Epitope Recognized by Monoclonal Antibody 2B6 in the B/C Domains of Classical Swine Fever Virus Glycoprotein E2 Affects Viral Binding to Hyperimmune Sera and Replication

        Classical swine fever (CSF) is a highly contagious disease of pigs caused by CSF virus (CSFV). E2 is the major viral envelope protein of immune dominance that induces neutralizing antibodies and confers protection against CSFV infection. The B/C domains of E2 are variable among CSFV isolates, which could affect immunogenicity and binding to antibodies. We attempted to characterize the epitope recognized by a monoclonal antibody 2B6 (mAb-2B6) raised against the E2 B/C domains of the vaccine C-strain and to examine if mutations in the epitope region would affect antibody binding and viral neutralization. The epitope specific for mAb-2B6 recognition is linear, spanning five residues 774DGXNP778 in the B/C domains. The residue N777 is indispensable for the specificity. The epitope exists only in group 1 strains, but not in those of group 2. The recombinant viruses containing individual mutations on the epitope region lost the reactivity to mAb-2B6. The mutant virus RecC-N777S had low replication potential, about 10-fold decrease in the yield of progeny virus particles, whereas the mutant virus RecC-P778A reverted to proline upon continuous passaging. The mutations on the mAb-2B6 epitope region did not affect neutralization by anti-C-strain polyclonal sera from pigs. Deletion from aa774 covering the mAb-2B6 epitope, but not that from aa781, also affected binding with the polyclonal antibodies from vaccinated pigs, although the major binding region for the vaccinated antibodies is aa690-773.

        Comparison of the Fatty Acid Composition and Small Molecular Metabolites between Yanjin Blackbone Chicken and Piao Chicken Meat

        The fatty acid composition and small molecular metabolites in breast and leg meat of Yanjin blackbone chickens (YBC) and Piao chickens (PC) were detected by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and liquid chromatography-quadrupole static field orbital trap mass spectrometry. Thirty-two fatty acids were detected, and the total fatty acid content of PC was significantly higher than that of YBC (p<0.05). Oleic acid, linoleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, and arachidonic acid were the main fatty acids in the two chicken varieties, and the composition of fatty acids in the two varieties were mainly unsaturated fatty acids, being more than 61.10% of the total fatty acids. Meanwhile, 12 and 16 compounds were screened out from chicken legs and chicken breasts of YBC and PC, respectively, which had important contributions to the differences between groups.

        Continuous Passaging of a Recombinant C-Strain Virus in PK-15 Cells Selects Culture-Adapted Variants that Showed Enhanced Replication but Failed to Induce Fever in Rabbits

        Classical swine fever virus (CSFV) is the etiologic agent of classical swine fever, a highly contagious disease that causes significant economic losses to the swine industry. The lapinized C-strain, a widely used vaccine strain against CSFV, has low growth efficiency in cell culture, which limits the productivity in the vaccine industry. In this study, a recombinant virus derived from C-strain was constructed and subjected to continuous passaging in PK-15 cells with the goal of acquiring a high progeny virus yield. A cell-adapted virus variant, RecCpp80, had nearly 1,000-fold higher titer than its parent C-strain but lost the ability to induce fever in rabbits. Sequence analysis of cell-adapted RecC variants indicated that at least six nucleotide changes were fixed in RecCpp80. Further adaption of RecCpp80 variant in swine testicle cells led to a higher virus yield without additional mutations. Introduction of each of these residues into the wild-type RecC backbone showed that one mutation, M979R (T3310G), located in the C-terminal region of E2 might be closely related to the cell-adapted phenotype. Rabbit inoculation revealed that RecCpp80+10 failed to induce fever in rabbits, whereas RecCpp40<sub>+10</sub> caused a fever response similar to the commercial C-strain vaccine. In conclusion, the C-strain can be adapted to cell culture by introducing specific mutations in its E2 protein. The mutations in RecCpp80 that led to the loss of fever response in rabbits require further investigation. Continuous passaging of the C-strain-based recombinant viruses in PK-15 cells could enhance its in vitro adaption. The non-synonymous mutations at 3310 and 3531 might play major roles in the enhanced capacity of general virus reproduction. Such findings may help design a modified C-strain for improved productivity of commercial vaccines at reduced production cost.

        Associations among Genetic Variants and Intracranial Aneurysm in a Chinese Population

        Purpose: Genome-wide association studies (GWAS) have revealed that common variants on or near EDNRA, HDAC9, SOX17,RP1, CDKN2B-AS1, and RBBP8 genes are associated with intracranial aneurysm (IA) in European or Japanese populations. However,due to population heterogeneity, whether these loci are associated with IA pathogenesis in Chinese individuals is still unknown. The purpose of this study was to investigate associations among GWAS-identified loci and risk of IA in a Chinese population. Materials and Methods: A total of 765 individuals (including 230 IA patients and 535 controls) were involved in this study. Twelvesingle nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of candidate loci were genotyped using the Sequenom MassARRAY platform. Associationswere analyzed using univariate or multivariate logistic regression analysis. Results: SNPs in CDKN2B-AS1 (especially rs10757272) showed significant associations with IA in dominant and additive models[odds ratio (OR), 2.99 and 1.43; 95% confidence interval (CI), 1.44–6.24 and 1.10–1.86, respectively]. A SNP near HDAC9 (rs10230207)was associated with IA in the dominant model (OR, 1.42; 95% CI, 1.01–1.99). One SNP near RP1 (rs1072737) showed a protectiveeffect on IA in the dominant model (OR, 0.66; 95% CI, 0.46–0.95), while another SNP in RP1 (rs9298506) showed a risk effect onIA in a recessive model (OR, 3.82; 95% CI, 1.84–7.91). No associations were observed among common variants near EDNRA,SOX17, or RBBP8 and IA. Conclusion: These data partially confirmed earlier results and showed that variants in CDKN2B-AS1, RP1, and HDAC9 could begenetic susceptibility factors for IA in a Chinese population.

        Hierarchical porous ECM scaffolds incorporating GDF-5 fabricated by cryogenic 3D printing to promote articular cartilage regeneration

        In recent years, there has been significant research progress on in situ articular cartilage (AC) tissue engineering with endogenous stem cells, which uses biological materials or bioactive factors to improve the regeneration microenvironment and recruit more endogenous stem cells from the joint cavity to the defect area to promote cartilage regeneration.In this study, we used ECM alone as a bioink in low-temperature deposition manufacturing (LDM) 3D printing and then successfully fabricated a hierarchical porous ECM scaffold incorporating GDF-5.Comparative in vitro experiments showed that the 7% ECM scaffolds had the best biocompatibility. After the addition of GDF-5 protein, the ECM scaffolds significantly improved bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell (BMSC) migration and chondrogenic differentiation. Most importantly, the in vivo results showed that the ECM/GDF-5 scaffold significantly enhanced in situ cartilage repair.In conclusion, this study reports the construction of a new scaffold based on the concept of in situ regeneration, and we believe that our findings will provide a new treatment strategy for AC defect repair.
