        Non-Contrast Cine Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Derived-Radiomics for the Prediction of Left Ventricular Adverse Remodeling in Patients With ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction

        Objective: To investigate the predictive value of radiomics features based on cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) cine images for left ventricular adverse remodeling (LVAR) after acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). Materials and Methods: We conducted a retrospective, single-center, cohort study involving 244 patients (random-split into 170 and 74 for training and testing, respectively) having an acute STEMI (88.5% males, 57.0 ± 10.3 years of age) who underwent CMR examination at one week and six months after percutaneous coronary intervention. LVAR was defined as a 20% increase in left ventricular end-diastolic volume 6 months after acute STEMI. Radiomics features were extracted from the oneweek CMR cine images using the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator regression (LASSO) analysis. The predictive performance of the selected features was evaluated using receiver operating characteristic curve analysis and the area under the curve (AUC). Results: Nine radiomics features with non-zero coefficients were included in the LASSO regression of the radiomics score (RAD score). Infarct size (odds ratio [OR]: 1.04 (1.00–1.07); P = 0.031) and RAD score (OR: 3.43 (2.34–5.28); P < 0.001) were independent predictors of LVAR. The RAD score predicted LVAR, with an AUC (95% confidence interval [CI]) of 0.82 (0.75–0.89) in the training set and 0.75 (0.62–0.89) in the testing set. Combining the RAD score with infarct size yielded favorable performance in predicting LVAR, with an AUC of 0.84 (0.72–0.95). Moreover, the addition of the RAD score to the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) significantly increased the AUC from 0.68 (0.52–0.84) to 0.82 (0.70–0.93) (P = 0.018), which was also comparable to the prediction provided by the combined microvascular obstruction, infarct size, and LVEF with an AUC of 0.79 (0.65–0.94) (P = 0.727). Conclusion: Radiomics analysis using non-contrast cine CMR can predict LVAR after STEMI independently and incrementally to LVEF and may provide an alternative to traditional CMR parameters.

      • Predicting the concrete compressive strength through MLP network hybridized with three evolutionary algorithms

        In this research, we synthesized an artificial neural network (ANN) with three metaheuristic algorithms, namely particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm, imperialist competition algorithm (ICA), and genetic algorithm (GA) to achieve a more accurate prediction of 28-day compressive strength of concrete. Seven input parameters (including cement, water, slag, fly ash, superplasticizer (SP), coarse aggregate (CA), and fine aggregate (FA)) were considered for this work. 80% of data (82 samples) were used to feed ANN, PSO-ANN, ICA-ANN, and GA-ANN models, and their performance was evaluated using the remaining 20% (21 samples). Referring to the executed sensitivity analysis, the best complexities for the PSO and GA were indicated by the population size = 450 and for the ICA by the population size = 400. Also, to assess the accuracy of the used predictors, the accuracy criteria of root mean square error (RMSE), coefficient of determination (R<sup>2</sup>), and mean absolute error (MAE) were defined. Based on the results, applying the PSO, ICA, and GA algorithms led to increasing R,<sup>2</sup> in the training and testing phase. Also, the MAE and RMSE of the conventional MLP experienced significant decrease after the hybridization process. Overall, the efficiency of metaheuristic science for the mentioned objective was deduced in this research. However, the combination of ANN and ICA enjoys the highest accuracy and could be a robust alternative to destructive and time-consuming tests.

        公司捐贈中的中小股東權益保護問題硏究 -從捐贈決策環節探尋解決路徑

        本文結合公司捐贈中中小股東的權益易受侵害的現實,從分析中小股東自身的弱勢地位以及公司捐贈行爲的特殊性出發,探討了現象成因幷采用實證分析的方法進行擧例說明;隨后本文以對公司捐贈合法化的歷史追溯爲進路,得出公司捐贈需以不違背股東權益爲前提的結論,進而采用博奕論中的“말累托改進”原理爲公司捐贈中的中小股東權益之特殊保護提供了理論支持;在論證對捐贈決策還節進行制度安排對于保護中小股東權益之有效性和可行性的基礎上,根据前述權益易受侵害的成因確定了“嚴格限定決策條件”以及“增强中小股東決策力”的制度設計理念,幷進行了具體的制度構建。通過以上論述,本文嘗試在決策環節爲公司捐贈中的中小股東權益保護提出制度建議。 Based on the fact that the rights and interests of minority shareholders are always encroached on when companies make donations,this paper, by analyzing the vulnerable position of minority shareholders and the particularity of corporate donations, explores the causations of this phenomenon and gives explanation using the technique of practical analysis. Then the paper takes into account the legalization of corporate donations from a historical perspective,and reaches a conclusion that corporate donations are allowed only when shareholders`interests are not sacrificed. On the basis of this conclusion, the theory of Pareto Improvement is employed to lay a theoretical foundation for the special protection of minority shareholders. After demonstration of the effectiveness and feasibility of protection of minority shareholders by improving the decision-making mechanism, two concepts, derived from the causations mentioned above, are put forward"restricting the conditions of decision-making strictly"and "enhancing the influence of minority shareholders on decision-making",and concrete systems are proposed to implement these two concepts. Through the preceding discussion, the paper attempts to recommend improvements in the decision-making stage for the purpose of protecting the rights and interests of minority shareholders in corporate donations.

        중한법학국제연토회(中韓法學國際硏討會) : 사외이사의 효용과 격려

        2001년에 중국에서 정식으로 사외이사를 도입하였다. 도입의 취지는 회사지배주주들의 약탈행위를 방지함으로써 소수주주들의 이익을 수호하는데 있다. 상하이 또는 썬쩐에서 반포한 사외이사 직무이행보고, 사외이사들의 소감 및 언론보도등은 모두 사외이사 효용면의 문제들을 지적하였다. 본문에서는 사외이사의 적극성 미비, 직무집행의 저효율성 문제 및 이를 초래한 원인들을 분석할 것이고, 상장회사로 하여금 적극적으로 사외이사 격려시스템을 수립하고 개선할 것에 관하여 호소하겠다. Abstract: The independent directors, formally introduced to China in 2001, are designed to prevent the controlling shareholders` usurpations, so as to protect small and medium shareholders` interests. However, the independent directors` report on their performance of duties issued by Shanghai and Shenzhen and the independent directors` own feelings, as well as the media reports all point to the utility problems of independent directors. This paper makes an analysis of the problems that the independent directors` enthusiasm is not high and that the utility of their exercise of authorities is not good. Besides, this paper advocates that the listed companies actively establish and perfect the incentive mechanism of independent directors to improve the existing problems of the system of independent directors.

        Mechanical Properties and Microstructure of PVA Fiber Reinforced Cemented Soil

        In this work, the experimental study of unconfined compressive strength tests, direct tensile strength tests and three point bending tests were carried out to evaluate the effect of PVA fiber reinforcement on the mechanical behaviour of cemented silty soil. In general, the addition of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fiber lead to an increase in compressive strength, and it was observed more significant improvement in tensile strength and flexural strength, moreover, the inclusion of fibers effectively altered the brittle failure pattern of unreinforced cemented soil and improve the toughness and ductility. In addition, the microstructural of interaction between fibers and cemented soil was investigated. The proposal of regression model was utilized for predicting compressive strength, tensile strength and flexural strength.

        Research on the Attenuation of Blast Wave by Groups of Filled Cracks in Surrounding Rock of Cavern

        This study introduces an approach for constructing groups of filled cracks in the surroundingrock to achieve anti-blasting and wave elimination protection for underground caverns. Toverify the attenuation effect of the explosion wave by the filled cracks, two models, a no-crackmodel, and a filled-crack model, were constructed using a certain proportion of analoguematerials based on the similarity theory. With the implementation of small equivalentexplosion conditions, the peak pressure of the surrounding rock of the cavern and thevibration acceleration of the cavern wall under different explosion conditions were measured. To accurately judge the attenuation efficiency of the filled cracks, the peak pressure attenuationpercentages between different measuring points were calculated. Furthermore, thecorresponding numerical simulation analysis process was performed according to the testconditions. The results show that not only the peak pressure attenuation percentages, but alsothe value of vibration acceleration, were significantly reduced due to the existence of filledcracks in the model. This indicates that filled cracks in the surrounding rock of the cavern caneffectively attenuate the peak pressure and vibration acceleration caused by the explosionwave, thereby achieving the protection engineering goal of anti-explosion and wave elimination.
