<P>Tin dioxide (SnO2) nanosheets/graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) composite was prepared by a hydrothermal method using mercapto acetic acid as the morphology directing agent in an acidic medium. The as obtained composite was characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscope, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy; the results of this study show that in the composite, SnO2 nanosheets with a thickness in the range similar to 20-25 nm dispersed well on the g-C3N4. The lithium storage capability of the composite was investigated. The cycling performance of the composite was improved and is believed to be attributed by the presence of g-C3N4 support. Poly(methacrylic acid)-functionalized SBA-15 silicas (denoted as P-x-PMA/SBA-15 where x is molar ratio of TSPM/(TEOS+TSPM) in percentage in the initial mixture) were synthesized by co-condensation of tetraethoxysilane and varying contents of 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate in acidic medium with the block copolymer Pluronic 123 as a structure directing agent and then polymerization by methacrylic acid in the presence of ammonium persulfate as an initiator. The functionalized materials were characterized by PXRD, TEM, SEM, IR, and N2 adsorption-desorption at 77 K. The investigation of phenol adsorption in aqueous solution on the materials showed that the poly(methacrylic acid)-functionalized mesoporous silicas possess strong adsorption ability for phenol with interaction of various kinds of hydrogen bonds. The adsorption data were fitted to Langmuir isotherms and the maximum adsorption capacity of the three functionalized materials P-5-PMA/SBA-15, P-10-PMA/SBA-15, and P-15-PMA/SBA-15 to be 129.37 mg/g, 187.97 mg/g, and 78.43 mg/g, respectively, were obtained. The effect of the pH on phenol adsorption was studied.

The orange plate-like crystals of 1 and 4 were obtained by slow concentration of their solutions and their crystal structures determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. In the structure, the rhenium clusters form layers with a pseudo-hexagonal arrangement, and these inorganic layers are separated by a bilayer of interdigitated surfactant cations. Compounds 1–5 were characterized using powder X-ray diffraction, TEM, IR, Raman, FL, UV/Vis spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis.(© Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. Robust Precoding and Postcoding for Multicell Multiuser Transmission using Imperfect CSI
Hung Nguyen-Le,Vien Nguyen-Duy-Nhat,Chien Tang-Tan,Vo Nguyen Quoc Bao 한국통신학회 2016 Journal of communications and networks Vol.18 No.5
This paper studies the problem of precoding and post-coding design for multicellmultiuser downlink transmissions in theabsence of perfect channel state information (CSI). Using statisti-cal information of imperfect CSI, an iterative multiuser multicelltransceiver design is formulated by minimizing the mean squarederror (MSE) cost function of signal and leakage interference underper-base station power constraint (PBPC). The convergence of theiterative precoding and postcoding algorithm is verified by analyt-ical and empirical results. The proposed precoding and postcodingalgorithm offers a low computational complexity and robustnessagainst CSI imperfection.

<B>Graphic Abstract</B> <P>The octahedral [Re6Se8(CN)6]4− ions with various bridging metal ions form well-defined cubic and hexagonal mesostructures (see image) in the presence of liquid-crystal template in formamide. The interaction between the positively charged micellar head groups of the template and the [Re6Se8(CN)6]4− ions is a pure noncovalent electrostatic interaction. These materials are coordination polymers with exceptionally large 1D or 3D potential pores because of the dimension of mesoscale liquid-crystal template. <img src='wiley_img/16136810-2009-5-10-SMLL200801677-content.gif' alt='wiley_img/16136810-2009-5-10-SMLL200801677-content'> </P>
