This Paper describes a nonlinear adaptive noise canceller using neural network for machine tools controller system. Back-Propagation Learning Algorithm based MLP(Multi Layer Perceptron) is used an adaptive filters. In this paper, it assume that the noise of primary input in the adaptive noise canceller is not the same characteristic as that of the reference input. Experimental results show that the neural network base noise canceller outperforms the linear noise canceller. Especially to make noise cancel close to realtime, Primary Input is divided by Unit and each divided part is processed for very short time than all the processed data are unified to whole data.
인플레이션率과 株式收益率 사이의 關係에 관한 實證的 硏究

The purpose of this study is to investigate empirically the relationship between inflation rate and stock market return in Korean stock market. After the literature was reviewed, two regression models were tested for two periods, 1976-1980 and 1981-1986. The results show that there exists strong negative relation between two variables in the higher inflation period, on the contrary unsignificant positive relation in the lower inflation period. The major feature of this study is the use of Box-Jenkins' ARIMA fitted values as measures of expected inflation rates. But this study has many limitations and weaknesses from the view of theory building and research methodology, thus some directions of study are suggested.

Background : To exatnine the problems intolved in writing practice of death certificates, we cotnpated the determination of underlying cause of death for wital statistics using recorded underlying cause of death in issued death statistics. Methods : We collected 688 rnortality certificates issue in year of 2,000 from 3 university hospitals. And we also collected vital statistics from ministry of statistics. The causes of death were coded by experienced medical record wpecialists. And causes of death determined at ministry of statistics for national vita statistics were mapped to causes of death recorded at each death certificates. The rate that underlying causes of death for vital statistics were derived from underlying causes of death recorded at issued death certificaties sere analysed. Results : 64.5% of underlying cause of death for could be derived from underlying cause of death recorded at issued death certificates, 8.6% derived from intermediate cause of death, and 3.9% derived from direct cause of death. In 23% of cases, underlying cause of death could not be derived using issued death certificates. The rate that underlying cause of death for vital statistics could be derived from underlying cause of death recorded at death certificates was different between 3 university hospitals. Ane the rate was also different between death certificates and postmortem certificates. We classified the causes of death using 21 major categories. The rate was different between diseases or conditions tha caused death too. Conclusion : When we examined the correctness of death certificate writing practice using abpve methods, cortectness of writing could not be told as satisfactory. There was difference in correctness of writing between hospotals, between death certificates and postmortem certificates, and between diseases and conditions that caused death. With this results, we suggested some strategy to improve the correctness of death certificate writing practice.

Deutzia paniculata Nakai, a rare and endemic plant, has limited distribution throughout the North and South Gyeongsang provinces of South Korea. The D. paniculata community grows mostly on the stony slopes of forests, valley edges, and rock layers at 250-960 m in altitude, where deciduous trees are dominant and high humidity is maintained. Correlation analysis of vegetation and environmental factors found that the Walter's dogwood-mulberry community was correlated with soil acidity (pH). Whilst the queritron community had correlations with distance from the valley, rock rate and slope. The natural habitat of the Palgongsan Mountain in Daegu is known to have high genetic diversity, had eight D. paniculata individuals recorded from 2014 to 2018, and 12 individuals recorded in 2020 (new individuals due to a newly created space within the herbaceous layer caused by grass mowing works), it is therefore unlikely that the community would perish unless there was an artificial disturbance. To conserve the natural habitats of D. paniculata, oppression by Sasa borealis, damage, increase in crown density of the upper layer, overexploitation, and absence of seedlings should be carefully investigated. In addition, response measures should also be established and the impact on seed fullness and the reproductive characteristics of D. paniculata recorded. To restore declined genetic diversity, individuals from high genetic diversity regions, such as Palgongsan Mountain, should be artificially transplanted.

Purpose: A previous study has demonstrated that colchicine abrogated intercellular adhesion molecule (ICAM)-1 and fibronectin expression in renal cells exposed to high glucose media, but the underlying mechanism was not clarified. This study was undertaken to elucidate whether it was attributed to the inhibitory effect of colchicine on locally-produced angiotensin II (AII) under diabetic conditions Methods: Rat mesangial cells and NRK-52E cells were cultured in media containing 5.6 mM glucose (NG), NG+10-7 M AII (NG+AII), or 30 mM glucose (HG) with or without 10-8 M colchicine (Col) and/or 10-6 M L-158,809, an AII type 1 receptor blocker (ARB). ICAM-1 and fibronectin mRNA and protein expressions were determined by real-time PCR (RT-PCR) and Western blot, respectively. AII levels in conditioned media were determined by ELISA. Results: AII levels in conditioned media were significantly higher in HG-stimulated mesangial cells and NRK-52E cells compared to NG cells (p<0.05). ICAM-1 and fibronectin mRNA and protein expression were significantly increased in renal cells exposed to HG media (p<0.05 or p<0.01), and these increases were significantly ameliorated by colchicine or ARB treatment (p<0.05). Colchicine and ARB also significantly attenuated AII-induced ICAM-1 and fibronectin expression (p<0.05). However, there was no additive inhibitory effect of colchicine and ARB on the increases in ICAM-1 and fibronectin expression. Conclusion: Colchicine abrogated increased ICAM-1 and fibronectin expression in renal cells under diabetic conditions, which is partly mediated by inhibiting HG-induced locally-produced AII. These findings provide a new renoprotective mechanism of colchicine in diabetic nephropathy in addition to its impact on leukocyte functions.
The Flora of Jukbyeon-Bong (Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do) in DMZ Area in South Korea

Jukbyeon-Bong is located in Goseong city of Gangwon province in DMZ area in South Korea. The survey was performed from March to August in 2018. The flora of the Jukbyeon-Bong were classified as a total of 283 taxa, 74 families, 183 genera, 245 species, 3 subspecies, 30 varieties and 5 forms. The rare plant designated by Korea Forest Service was found to be 1 taxa; Patrinia saniculaefolia Hemsl. Among the plants collected in this surveyed area, a total of 5 taxa were found to be endemic plants of Korea; Asperula lasiantha Nakai, Patrinia saniculaefolia Hemsl., Hemerocallis hakuunensis Nakai, Populus tomentiglandulosa T.B.Lee, Hosta minor (Baker) Nakai. Distribution of floristic special plants were found to be divided into five classes (I~V). The floristic regional indicator plants found in this area were 27 taxa of grade IV, 6 taxa of grade III, 7 taxa of grade II and 10 taxa of grade I. 17 taxa of naturalized plants were identified, which included Rumex acetosella L., Phytolacca americana L., Cerastium glomeratum Thuill.
