인터넷상에서 통신 지연 임계값을 보장하는 웹 프락시의 최적 개수와 위치 : 양방향 트리 구조

인터넷 사용자의 증가와 그에 따른 WWW(World Wide Web)상에서 발생하는 통신지연의 해결책의 한 방법으로 웹 캐싱 방법이 고려되어 왔다. 이와 같은 웹 프락시는 인터넷 상에서의 위치에 따라 그 효용이 달라지게 되는데, 이와 관련하여 [5]에서는 인터넷상에서 프락시가 될 수 있는 잠재노드들이 트리 구조를 이룰 때 전체적인 접근 시간을 줄이기 위해 미리 정해진 개수(M)의 프락시의 위치를 구하는 방법에 대해 설명하고 있다. 하지만 서버 관리자의 측면에서는 서버를 구축하고 유지하는데 드는 비용과 직결되는 요소인 프락시의 개수를 정하는 것도 중요한 문제이다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷상에서 프락시가 될 수 있는 잠재노드들이 양방향 트리 구조를 이룰 때 서비스 노드들 각각이 정해진 임계값을 보장하기 위해 필요한 최소한 프락시의 개수와 그의 위치를 동시에 찾아내는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이 때 프락시의 위치는 서비스 그룹 내에서 아무런 제약 없이 임의의 위치에 올 수 있는 경우를 고려한다.

e-사이언스 환경에서 공학 교육을 위한 통합 수치 해석 프레임워

유동 수치 해석 분야의 실험들은 복잡한 수학 방정식의 계산 과정으로 이루어져 있고, 이러한 실험을 수행할 수 있는 거대한 계산 자원과 그 자원을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 환경을 요구한다. 현재 수치해석을 위한 특정 목적의 실험을 수행할 수 있는 e-사이언스 환경에 대한 연구는 많이 진행되고 있으나 다양한 공학 교육 분야의 유동 해석을 위한 통합 수치해석 연구 프레임워크를 개발한 사례는 거의 없는 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 그리드 자원을 효율적으로 이용할 수 있는 UNICORE를 기반으로 다양한 유동 해석을 위한 기본 프레임워크를 설계하고, 이에 대한 프로토타입으로 세 가지 유동 응용들에 대한 수치해석 연구를 통합 환경에서 수행할 수 있는 e-사이언스 프레임워크를 개발하였다. The analytical experiments for fluid dynamics lead a sequence of complex scientific computations composing of numerical equations and require enormous computing resources with appropriate management tools. Currently most studies on e-Science environment for numerical studies focus on solving specific problems to drag out the best performance of matters and have less interest in providing a common framework to apply for diverse numerical domains in engineering education, especially for fluid dynamics. This paper presents an integrated e-Science experiment tool which could be easily applicable to solve various numerical analyses in fluid dynamics. As a proof-of-concept, an integrated e-Science framework with three numerical analyses has been designed and implemented over UNICORE that runs over grid computing environment.

근대문학과 카페

This study is aimed to investigate into what cafe means in the korean modem literature including poems and novels. In the early modem society. cafe was a private place but it did have urban, artistic. and social nature. In korea, cafe emerged immediately after the march first independence movement. Cafe run by japanese people were frist developed in Myeong-dong and Jingogae, and later, a cafe called 'Ccacca-due' appeared and was run by a korean movie director named Gyeong-son, Lee. At that time, in korea, cafes were developed with a focus on men of culture and art and on intelligent men having studied abroad. So, cafe were not set up for the commercial purposes. They were an urban, exotic and special place for contemporary intelligent men and aritists who were isolated from the society at that time. To them, a cafe was a space where both aesthetic modernity and frustration could be experienced and the gloomy inside of intelligent people revealed. Such an inclination can be easily attested modem poems. The works of Ji-yong, jeong, Pal-bong, kim and Hwa-san, kim describe in detail the atmosphere of cafes and the appearances and internal life of the customers of cafes. Moreover, a cafe was a place where a modem life was developed and speakers in poems could reflect the inside of them. Subsequently, it is natural that their internal truth was expressed in poems. Poems describe the agonies of intelligent people who could not take more active actions and measures. Day dreams unique to poets were imagined in a cafe where they could contemplate on anything without being disturbed by anyone else while listening to music and drinking coffee, which was small consolation for them. Stories of novels graphically describe the daily miserable life of the waitresses who could not help making a living in a space of cafe. In particular, novels written by Tae-won, Park present the tired and prostitute like life of cafe maids who did not have any alternatives to living on cafe customers. they are also a dark self-portrait of modern society and capitalism. Furthermore, the novels written by Jin-o, Yu and sang, Lee portray the modes of life of spiritless intellectuals, who were customers of cafe. They just drank wine in a cafe while idling away their time and doing nothing for their society, made love with cafe maids who adored intelligent men, or just wandered about in the street. At last, they ended up their life in an eccentric manner.

조각의 받침대에 대한 새로운 접근

The sculpture IS an art traditionally appreciated by a 3-dimentional object resting on a pedestal. However, there was a big change in the 20th century sculpture, which is a disappearance of the pedestal. Now, the sculpture comes out from an aesthetic space on a pedestal and move into the ontological space. Reconsideration on the traditional pedestal began since Rodin at the end of the 19th century continues to the Brancusi and Giacometti in 20th century. They made a new approach toward the pedestal by possessing it in the sculpture itself. They treated it not as a means of supporting object rather as much as the sculpture itself, moreover as a key visual element which consist the sculpture. Rodin escaped from the traditional pedestal of a monument which made people to view in certain height and distance. Instead, he presented an environmental pedestal which enable to realize the monumental portrait within the relationship between people and the environment. Through an operating pedestal, Brancusi showed not only the relationship between the sculpture and the pedestal but also destroyed the conceptual division between them just like the case that the pedestal became the sculpture itself, or using daily object as a pedestal. In order to express the figure as an existential human in relation to the space, Giacometti presented it with a least amount of volume yet with the maximized pedestal. His pedestal has no division with the figure at the same time it is not dividing it with the space. Therefore, his pedestal is a part of a figure as well as a place where an object is resting on. From the traditional pedestal to argues on the reasonableness of its existence, this new approach toward the pedestal contributed to the future generation artist by presenting the chance to reconsider about the issue on the pedestal in various points of view.

샤갈의 그림에 나타난 종교적 이미지의 이중성

Chagall who was a believer of Hasidism in Judaism drew many pictures inspired by the Bible. His religious image includes dualism. He duplicated the image of Judaism with the image of Christianity within one picture. For example, presenting Jesus who is not accepted as a savior in Judaism story of Old Testament, construction of images such as a relationship between Jesus and Adam by the interpretation of the New Testament or showing a relationship between Isaac and Jesus. In other cases, he presented Jesus as a symbol of salvation for oppressed Jewish people or he covered the body of Jesus with a tallith creating ambiguous identity. These kinds of images are the expression based on the connection between the Old Testament and the New Testament according to the interpretation of the Christianity rather than treating Jesus as an offspring of Jewish or one of the historical characters in the Bible. This dualism of the religious image is originated from the detailed images of Judaism and Christianity, the unique fantasy and tradition of Jewish and individual's daily life as well as from the unseen world that the intrinsic life of the artist. Therefore, his religious image is not trying to communicate the exact meaning of the Bible of an accurate theological interpretation to viewers rather it offers an opportunity to create one's own interpretation by the viewer's poetic imagination. Chagall's religious images became private intrinsic and psychological image which have unlimited access toward new meanings by one's imagination and the private experience to both the artist and the viewer.

통합에 대한 장애유아부모와 유아통합기관 전문가들의 요구에 대한 질적연구

This study collected fundamental data to develop a model for an inclusive early childhood education center in Cheonan. Eight parents of young children with disabilities were interviewed to understand their needs, and directors, early childhood teachers, and early childhood special teachers in three inclusive early childhood education centers were interviewed for their opinions. An analysis of the results revealed that parents with young children with disabilities and professionals in inclusive early education centers perceived that inclusive early education is necessary. To establish desirable inclusive education, a systematic standard for the physical setting should be established. It is also suggested that the inclusive teachers should have diverse talents, and the inclusive early child education centers should integrate education and therapy. It is necessary that the early childhood education curriculum be varied.

무선 Ad-hoc 네트워크에서 시스템 활동시간 증가를 위한 Coordinator 선출 방법

무선 Ad-hoc 네트워크에서는 기존의 유선 네트워크에서와는 달리 휴대용 기기들만으로 네트워크 망이 형성 되어있고 이때 휴대용 기기 들은 대부분 배터리를 에너지원으로 사용한다. 그러므로 무한의 에너지를 갖고 있다고 볼 수 있었던 종전의 유선 네트워크에서와는 달리 배터리를 에너지원으로 사용하는 무선 Ad-hoc 네트워크에서는 효율적인 에너지 자원 관리가 중요한 이슈가 된다. 이러한 특성을 고려한 연구 중 전체 휴대용 단말기에서 일부를 선출하고 이렇게 선출된 coordinator들만 데이터의 전송에 참여하게 하고 나머지 단말기들은 수면 모드로 전환시킴으로 인해 시스템의 전력소비를 줄이는 방법에 대한 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 선행 연구에서는 수면 모드의 노드를 최대화함으로써 전체 네트워크의 전력소비를 최소화하려는 노력을 하고 있으나, 선출되는 coordinator 수의 최소화가 항상 시스템 활동시간의 증가를 보장하지는 않는다. 본 논문에서는 각 단말기에서 데이터 전송에 필요한 에너지와 노드들의 연결성을 함께 고려해서 coordinator를 선출함으로써 네트워크의 시스템 활동시간을 기존의 방법 보다 더 증가시키는 알고리즘을 제안한다. Wireless ad-hoc networks are only composed with mobile devices. Unlike the traditional wired networks, those devices are mostly operated with battery power. Since the battery-operated power is limited, the efficient energy resource managements becomes an important issue in wireless ad-hoc networks and various studies that considered these characteristics are progressed. One of those studies is an energy efficient routing using coordinators. In this method, only devices elected as coordinator participate in data transmissions in ad-hoc networks, while other devices remain in sleep node. The overall energy consumption of a system can be reduced. In order to minimize energy consumption of a total network, previous results try to maximize the number of nodes in sleep mode. However, minimizing the number of coordinators does not ensure to increase the system lifetime. In this thesis, we propose an algorithm that can elect coordinators with considering the amount of necessary energy to transmit assigned data and a connectivity of nodes in the networks. The result of proposed coordinator election algorithm can increase the system lifetime of an Ad-hoc network from the results of existing coordinator election algorithms.
