        중소도시 지역사회 거주 노인의 치매예방을 위한 Information & Communication Technology 프로그램 기반 인지향상 프로토콜 적용

        목적 : 본 연구는 예비연구로 65세 이상 노인을 대상으로 Information & Communication Technology (ICT) 홈 기반 프로그램을 적용하여 인지향상 프로그램의 효과를 확인하고, 원격재활 전달모델로서 가능성을 찾고자 한다. 연구방법 : 2022년 8월부터 10월까지 대상자 3인을 선정하여 약 2개월에 걸쳐 ICT 홈 기반 인지향상 프로그램 중재를 실시하였다. 본 중재는 프로그램 전⋅후 인지향상을 평가하기 위해 한국판 간이 정신 상태 검사, 한국판 몬트리올 인지평가, 노인용 전산화 인지평가도구, Two shorter form of the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression scale을 사용하여 진행하였다. 치료사는 원격으로 대상자의 수준에 맞는 인지훈련의 난이도 조절을 매주 피드백을 통해 설정하고 프로그램 진행 시에는 매일 정해진 시간에 치료사의 도움 없이 진행하였다. 인지향상 프로그램에 대한 추가 의견을 위해 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 결과 : 중재 후, 사전 사후에 진행한 한국판 몬트리올 인지평가 대부분의 항목에서 모든 대상자가 향상된 점수를 보였다. 또한 Cotras-pro의 항목 중 상위인지, 언어능력, 주의집중, 시지각, 기억력이 향상되었다. 결론 : ICT 홈 기반 프로그램을 사용한 인지재활훈련은 치매를 예방할 뿐 아니라 원격재활에 대한 내적동기 또한 가질 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 노인을 대상으로 한 원격재활이 가능할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. Objective : This study, as a preliminary study, applied an Information & Communication Technology (ICT) home-based program to elderly people aged 65 years or older to confirm the effect of the cognitive enhancement program and to find the possibility of remote rehabilitation. Methods : This study from August to October 2022, three subjects were selected and the intervention was conducted for about 2 months. This intervention was conducted using Korean version of Mini-Mental State Examination, Korean version of Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA-K), Computer Cognitive Senior Assessment System, and the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression scale to evaluate cognitive improvement before and after the program. The therapist remotely set the level of cognitive training according to the subject's level through weekly feedback. Results : After the intervention, all subjects showed improved scores in most items of the MoCA-K conducted before and after the intervention. In addition, among the items of Cotras-pro, upper cognition, language ability, attention, visual perception, and memory were improved. Conclusion : Cognitive rehabilitation training using an ICT home-based program not only prevented dementia but also made it habitual. Through this study, it was confirmed that remote rehabilitation for the elderly could be possible.

        개별화교육에 관한 유아교사들의 인식: 작업치료사의 역할 중심으로

        목적: 본 연구에서는 유아교사들의 개별화교육 수립 운영에 관한 인식과 각 학급에서의 대처하기 어려운 도전적 행동에 대한 현황을 파악함으로써 이를 통해 팀 협력적 접근 속 전문가로서 작업치료사의 중요성 및 필요성을 알아보고자 한다. 연구방법: 2023년 5월 8일부터 2023년 5월 21일까지 전국 어린이집과 유치원에 근무하고 있는 원장⋅원감, 부장교사, 일반교사(1정 정교사, 2정 정교사), 특수교사, 수석⋅보직교사를 대상으로 온라인 설문지를 SNS (카카오톡)로 발송하고 회수한 203부를 분석에 사용하였다. 결과: 각 학급을 담당하는 교사들의 70.9%가 장애유아(53.9%)뿐 아니라 비장애유아(46.1%) 또한 도전적 행동을 보인다고 응답하였고, 타 전문가들과의 협력을 필요로 하였다. 개별화교육을 알고 있다고 답하였지만 개별화교육의 수립 및 시행 방법 및 방향성에 관한 자세한 사항에 대한 세미나⋅보수⋅연수⋅직무교육이 필요할 것으로 나타났다. 또한 작업치료의 직무를 잘 모르지만 개별화교육에 작업치료사가 포함되어야 한다는 응답률은 높게 나타났다. 결론: 유아교사들은 학급에서 도전적 행동을 보이는 유아를 지도할 때 타 영역 전문가와의 협력을 원하고 있으며 이와 관련된 개별화교육 협력적 팀 접근 중재를 적용하는 연구들이 다양하게 진행되어야 할 것이다. 더하여 작업치료의 중요성과 필요성에 관한 관련 세미나⋅보수⋅연수⋅직무교육이 제공되어야 함을 시사하는 바이다. Objective: This study aimed to understand preschool teachers' perceptions of the establishment and operation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and identify the difficulties they face in managing challenging behaviors in the classroom. This study also explored the significance and necessity of occupational therapists as professionals using a team approach. Methods: A nationwide online survey was conducted from May 8, 2023 to May 21, 2023. Participants included principals, teachers (both general and special education), and staff from kindergartens and nurseries across the country. A total of 203 responses were analyzed. Results: Overall, 70.9% of respondents, responsible for their respective schools, reported that not only children with disabilities (53.9%) but also those without disabilities (46.1%) exhibited challenging behaviors. Although they were aware of IEPs, the respondents indicated the need for professional development regarding the specifics of IEP expansion and implementation. Conclusion: Preschool teachers desire collaborations with other specialists when handling children who show challenging behaviors in their classrooms. These findings suggest the necessity for more research focused on applying a collaborative team approach in individualized education. This also highlights the need for professional seminars and training related to the importance and role of occupational therapy.

      • Progress in Improvement of Safety Information Transmission System

        In response to a regulatory mandate, all nuclear licensees are obligated to establish an information system that can provide essential information in the event of a radiation emergency by connecting the monitoring data of the Safety Parameter Display System (SPDS) or equivalent system to the Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety (KINS). Responding to this responsibility, the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) has established the Safety Information Transmission System (SITS), which enables the collection and real-time monitoring of safety information. The KAERI monitors and collects safety information, which includes data from the HANARO Operation Work Station (OWS) and the HANARO & HANARO Fuel Fabrication Plant (HFFP) Radioactivity Monitoring System (RMS), and the Environmental Radiation Monitoring System (ERMS) & meteorological data. Currently, the transmission of this safety information to the AtomCARE server of the KINS takes place via the SITS server located in the Emergency Operations Facility (EOF). However, the multi-path of transmission through SITS has caused problems such as an increase in data transmission interruptions and errors, as well as delays in identifying the cause and implementing system recovery measures. To address these issues, a new VPN is currently being constructed on the servers of nuclear facilities that generate and manage safety information to establish a direct transmission system of safety information from each nuclear facility to the AtomCARE server. The establishment of a direct transmission system that eliminates unnecessary transit steps is expected to result in stable information transmission and minimize the frequency of data transmission interruptions. As of the improvement progress, a security review was conducted in the second and third quarters of 2022 to evaluate the security of newly introduced VPNs to the nuclear facility server, and based on the results of the review, security measures were strengthened. In the fourth quarter of 2022, the development of a direct transmission system for safety information began, and it is scheduled to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2023. The project includes the construction of the transmission system, system inspection, and comprehensive data stability testing. Afterward, the existing SITS located in the EOF will be renamed as the Safety Information Display System (SIDS), and there are plans to remove any unused servers and VPNs.

      • High efficiency green TADF emitters of acridine donor and triazine acceptor D-A-D structures

        <P>Two thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) emitters with high synthetic yields were designed and synthesized. Both emitters, 10,10′-(5-(4,6-diphenyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)-1,3-phenylene)bis(9,9-dimethyl-9,10-dihydroacridine) (TRZ-DDMAc) and 10,10′-(5-(4,6-diphenyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)-1,3-phenylene)bis(9,9-diphenyl-9,10-dihydroacridine) (TRZ-DDPAc), showed excellent photophysical properties. Interestingly, both of the materials had a small energy difference between singlet and triplet levels, which confirmed that donor-acceptor based molecular design brought effective reverse intersystem crossing (RISC) to enable the TADF mechanism. The TADF characteristic was confirmed by a delay time of 10.32 and 10.37 μs for TRZ-DDMAc and TRZ-DDPAc, respectively. TRZ-DDPAc revealed a photoluminescence quantum yield of 79.7% in a doped film state. Moreover, several green OLED devices were fabricated by using different host materials along with various doping concentrations to ensure the optimal performance of each TADF material. The device with TRZ-DDPAc as an emitter (30%: DBFPO) exhibited excellent current and maximum external quantum efficiencies of 62.8 cd A<SUP>−1</SUP> and 27.3%, respectively. Green colour emission was observed from all devices, which originated through the TADF mechanism.</P>

        지역사회 노인의 사회적 관계망의 구조적, 기능적 측면과 관련된 다면적 건강요인에 대한 체계적 고찰

        We aimed to find out the effect of the social networks on the multifaceted health domains in the community-dwelling older adults. Studies that evaluated both structural and functional aspects of social networks were systematically reviewed. Through databases RISS, NDSL, PubMed, and Embase, articles from 2013 to 2023 were searched, and the final 16 studies were selected. Overall, non-standardized tools were used for evaluation, and various version of Lubben Social Network Scales were most commonly used. 28 factors derived from 16 studies were classified into four health domains: physical, mental, social, and subjective health. Factors such as physical frailty, depression, social role disability, quality of life were studied by domain. This study highlights the influence of the social networks on the multifaceted health of the elderly, and efforts are needed to develop multifaceted health intervention contents by utilizing social network in the future.

        The Mediating Role of Social Participation in Motoric Cognitive Risk and its Relation to Depression and Loneliness in Older Adults

        Background: Motoric cognitive risk syndrome (MCR) reduces the quality of life, independence, and social interaction in older adults. Social participation is a potentially modifiable factor that benefits cognitive and mental health. This study explored the mediating roles of social participation between MCR and depression and between MCR and loneliness. Methods: We performed a secondary analysis of data from the 2015–2016 National Social Life, Health, and Aging Project. Slow gait speed and cognitive decline were used to assess MCR. Mediation analysis was applied to two models, both of which used MCR as an exposure and social participation as a mediator. The outcomes were depression and loneliness for each model, respectively. Results: Among 1,697 older adults, 196 (11.6%) had MCR. The mediating role of social participation was statistically significant in both models. The indirect effect (β=0.267, p=0.001) of MCR on depression through social participation comprised 11.97% of the total effect (β=2.231, p<0.001). The indirect effect (β=0.098, p=0.001) of MCR on loneliness through social participation was 19.48% of the total effect (β=0.503, p<0.001). Conclusion: Interventions to increase social participation may reduce depression and loneliness of older adults with MCR.

      • Highly Efficient Thin-Film Transistor <i>via</i> Cross-Linking of 1T Edge Functional 2H Molybdenum Disulfides

        <P>Thin-film transistors (TFTs) have received great attention for their use in lightweight, large area, and wearable devices. However, low crystalline materials and inhomogeneous film formation limit the realization of high-quality electrical properties for channels in commercial TFTs, especially for flexible electronics. Here, we report a field-effect TFT fabricated <I>via</I> cross-linking of edge-1T basal-2H MoS<SUB>2</SUB> sheets that are prepared by edge functional exfoliation of bulk MoS<SUB>2</SUB> with soft organic exfoliation reagents. For edge functional exfoliation, the electrophilic 4-carboxy-benzenediazonium used as the soft organic reagent attacks the nucleophilic thiolates exposed at the edge of the bulk MoS<SUB>2</SUB> with the help of an amine catalyst, resulting in 1T edge-functional HOOC-benzene-2H basal MoS<SUB>2</SUB> nanosheets (e-MoS<SUB>2</SUB>). The cross-linking <I>via</I> hydrogen bonding of the negatively charged HOOC of the e-MoS<SUB>2</SUB> sheets with the help of a cationic polymer, polydiallyldimethylammonium chloride, results in a good film formation for a channel of the solution processing TFT. The TFT exhibits an extremely high mobility of 170 cm<SUP>2</SUP>/(V s) at 1 V (on/off ratio of 10<SUP>6</SUP>) on SiO<SUB>2</SUB>/Si substrate and also a high mobility of 36.34 cm<SUP>2</SUP>/(V s) (on/off ratio of 10<SUP>3</SUP>) on PDMS/PET substrate.</P><P><B>Graphic Abstract</B> <IMG SRC='http://pubs.acs.org/appl/literatum/publisher/achs/journals/content/ancac3/2017/ancac3.2017.11.issue-12/acsnano.7b07776/production/images/medium/nn-2017-07776m_0005.gif'></P><P><A href='http://pubs.acs.org/doi/suppl/10.1021/nn7b07776'>ACS Electronic Supporting Info</A></P>
