        Authorst ried retrospective analysis to find out general characteristics of the patients undergoing disability evaluation at the department of psychiatry Chungnam National University Hospital from 1986 to 1990. The subjects, who were suffered from psychiatric complications due to head trauma by traffic accident, were 66 patients and they were classified depending on the demographic status, situations of traffic accident, evalaution periods, whether or not perform operation, and rates of evaluated disability and diagnosis. The results were summarized as follows. 1. General background of the subjects were as follows. 1) The frequency order of request were court(59 %) and insurance company(19.7%). 2) The place of accident was more common in large city, common accident vehicle were bus, truck, and cabs. 3) The season of accident were more common in Spring and Autumn. 2. Male(71.2%) was more common than in female and more common in the age group of 5-19 years old(37.9%). The most frequent job of the patients was labour, and the education level was more common in the graduates of elementary school(47.9% ). 3. The interval between accident and evaluation was most frequent in 12-23 months(47.5%), and duration of evaluation was mostly 14 to 21 days. Performed brain operation was 31.8% and non-operated patients was 50.0%. The rates of disability according to the McBride's disability evaluation were mostly belonged to the group of beow 40%(74.1%). 4. The final diagnosis after evaluation were organic personality disorder(45.5%) and dementia(31.8%).

      • Bi₂Sr₂Ca₂.₂O_(X)계에서 초전도상의 핵생성과 성장

        Using Bi₂Sr₂Ca₂.₂Cu₃0x powders prepared by solid state reaction and spray drying method, the nucleation and growth behaviors of superconducting and second phases were investigated during isothermal heat treatment. When the spray drying power was used in contrast with solid state reaction powder. Bi₂Sr₂Ca₂Cu₃0x (2223) phase could be formed at the relatively short time and second phases were much bigger. Quantitative analysis showed that as the heat-treatment time increased, more Bi₂Sr₂Ca₁Cu₂0x (2212) changed to 2223 and the major second phase was changed from (Sr,Ca)₁₄Cu₂₄0x (14:24) to (Sr,Ca)₂Cu₁ (2:1). The superconducting phase formed at the relatively short time of 20 h around the Bi-free phase of 14:24 phase, but long time was needed in places far from the 14:24 phase. Following the formation of the 2212 phase near the 14:24 phase, the 2223 phase nucleated preferentially at the interface between the 2212 and 14:24 phases. The preferential nucleation of 2223 was explained by its structural similarity and low interfacial energy with both the Bi-free and 2212 phases.

        This study investigated the phase transformation of the REBa₂Cu₃O_(7-x) (RE=Nd, Gd, Dy) superconductor, and CCT (Continuous-Cooling-Transformation) along with the TTT (Time-Temperature-Transformation) diagrams are suggested according to the isothermal and continuous cooling heat-treatments. According to result of fabricated single crystal of RE-123 superconductor through TSMG method based on phase transformation neted among heat-treatment process, which the ionic radius elements was decreased, RE-211 phase was well-distributed. The highest Jc intensity was obtained in the RE-211 supercondoctors heat-treated used seed of high miscut angle and heat-treatment in O₂ atmosphere.

        In this paper, we relay experiment which recognize automatically the information of the plandt by heuristic kmowledge. And we kesign the auto-tuning PID controller using this experment in the choice of controller structure and the decision of controller parameter. Heuristic konwledge is used as an eldment of the feedback loop in an also-tuning PID controller. The PID algorithm are coded in 4 form by controller structure, and the auto-tuning parameter decision method uses Ziegler-Nichols method and Astuom-Hagglund method. This paper designs the comtroller which is fit for control goal and is used the configuration of an expert contoller on the microcom-puter-based system.

        다중지능 프로그램이 유아영재의 엉어, 수, 사회성에 미치는 효과

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of a multiple intelligence program on the language, mathematics, and social behaviors of the gifted. The subjects were 20 gifted children who attended the Education Center in Seoul. They were 3-5 years old and their intelligence quotients were ranged between 125 and 140 measured by the K-WPPSI. Three tests were used in the study. First, the language ability test constructed by Young-Ae Jang (1981) was used for 4-6 years old children. Second, the test for the concept of numbers was designed to find out the achievement level of the number concept developed by Young-Hee Yeo (1995). Third, for the social behavior test questions that correspond to children aged between 3 and 5 were used. The results of this study were as followings: First, the multiple intelligence program positively affected the development of linguistic ability of the gifted children, with a significant difference in the development of linguistic expression. Second, the program based on multiple intelligence positively influenced the development of number concept of the gifted children. And third, multiple intelligence program has positively influenced the development of socialization of the gifted children, especiallv in terms of communication abilities.

        비행청소년들의 충동성과 뇌기능에 대한 연구

        Objectives : Recently, the number of adolescent criminals hospitalized for evaluation or treatment of mental illness is increasing. The aim of this study was to provide basic information for the evaluation and treatment of adolescent misconducts, based on their impulsivity. Methods : Barrat's impulsivity test was done to 64 adolescent criminals under age of 18 who were admitted to a Juvenile School between Oct. 1, 2003 and June 30, 2004. According to their recognizing impulsivity scores, the upper 30% group (high impulsivity group : HIG) and the lower 30% group (low impulsivity group : LIG) were selected. The two groups were compared on socio-demographic data, crime characteristics, psychiatric diagnoses, Evoked Potential Latency and Amplitude, Cognitron and IQ. Results : 1) The high impulsivity group had lower IQ than the low impulsivity group (p<0.01). 2) No difference was found in the seriousness of committed crimes, number of crimes and the age of first committed crimes. However, the high impulsivity group fended acting alone in committing crimes (p<0.05), and more frequently upeated same crimes (p<0.01). 3) Evoked potential latency was prolonged on FzN100 (p<0.05), CzN100 (p<0.05), PzN100 (p<0.01) and amplitude was increased on FzN100 (p<0.05), CzN100 (p<0.05), PzNl100 (p<0.05) in high impulsivity group. 4) High impulsivity group showed lower scores on NOCR (p<0.01), NOCYR (p<0.01), NOCNR (p<0.01) in Cognitron. PzN100 (p<0.05) latency prolongation. CzN100 latency prolongation had positive correlation with PzN100 latency prolongation (p<0.05). 5) While the misconduct was most common problem in both groups, more ADHD diagnosis was identified in the high impulsivity group. The most frequent medical problem in low impulsivity group was with diseases of internal medicine (p<0.01) and anxiety disorders (p<0.01). Conclusion : The adolescent cnminals with high impulsivity tend to have lower intelligence and commit crimes repeatedly. They are frequently diagnosed to have ADHD. When they are compared to low impulsivity group, big differences are found in prolonged evoked potential latency and increased amplitude on N100. Hence, in the treatment and rehabilitative programs for them, considering these characteristics may be helpful.

        Standards for Endovascular Neurosurgical Training and Certification of the Society of Korean Endovascular Neurosurgeons 2013

        The need for standard endovascular neurosurgical (ENS) training programs and certification in Korea cannot be overlooked due to the increasing number of ENS specialists and the expanding ENS field. The Society of Korean Endovascular Neurosurgeons (SKEN) Certification Committee has prepared training programs and certification since 2010, and the first certificates were issued in 2013. A task force team (TFT) was organized in August 2010 to develop training programs and certification. TFT members researched programs and systems in other countries to develop a program that best suited Korea. After 2 years, a rough draft of the ENS training and certification regulations were prepared, and the standard training program title was decided. The SKEN Certification Committee made an official announcement about the certification program in March 2013. The final certification regulations comprised three major parts: certified endovascular neurosurgeons (EN), certified ENS institutions, and certified ENS training institutions. Applications have been evaluated and the results were announced in June 2013 as follows: 126 members received EN certification and 55 hospitals became ENS-certified institutions. The SKEN has established standard ENS training programs together with a certification system, and it is expected that they will advance the field of ENS to enhance public health and safety in Korea.

      • REBa₂Cu₃O_(7-X) (RE=Nd, Gd, Dy) 초전도체의 열처리에 따른 상변태와 미세구조

        This study investigated the phase transformation of the REBa₂Cu₃O_(7-x) (RE = Nd, Gd, Dy) superconductor, and CCT (Continuous-Cooling-Transformation) along with the TTT (Time- Temperature-Transformation) diagrams are suggested according to the isothermal and continuous cooling heat-treatments. The peritectic temperature of the RE-123 phases approximately decreased to 30℃ when the ionic radius of the rare-earth elements was reduced. The optimum cooling rate, where BC and Cu-free phases do not exist, was 0.001℃/s. At this cooling rate, the RE-123 phase grew with a c-axis perpendicular to the surface and had a well-distributed RE-211 phase. When the oxygen partial pressure was reduced during isothermal heat-treatment. the formation temperature of the RE-211 phase decreased. In addition, the formation temperature of the RE-123 phases decreased from l000℃ (Nd-123) to 925℃ (Gd-123), and finally 875℃ (Dy-123) according to the decrease in the ionic radius of the rare-earth elements. Compared to Nd-123, Gd- and Dy-123 had a better texture with a well-distributed RE-211 phase.

        암모늄 알루미늄 탄산염(hhCH)의 열분해에 의한 α-알루미나 나노분말 제조

        [ ${\alpha}-Al_2O_3$ ] nanopowders were fabricated by the thermal decomposition and synthetic of Ammonium Aluminum Carbonate Hydroxide (AACH). Crystallite size of 5 to 8 nm were fabricated when reaction temperature of AACH was low, $8^{\circ}C$, and the highest $[NH_4{^+}][AlO(OH)_n{(SO_4){^-}}_{3-n/2}][HCO_3]$ ionic concentration to pH of the Ammonium Hydrogen Carbonate (AHC) aqueous solution was 10. The phase transformation fem $NH_4Al(SO_4)_2$, rhombohedral $(Al_2(SO_4)_3)$, amorphous-, ${\theta}-,\;{\alpha}-Al_2O_3$ was examined at each temperature according to the AACH. A Time-Temperature-Transformation (TTT) diagram for thermal decomposition in air was determined. Homogeneous, spherical nanopowders with a particle size of 70 nm were obtained by firing the 5 to 8 m crystallites, which had been synthesized from AACH at pH 10 and $8^{\circ}C,\;at\;1150^{\circ}C$ for 3 h in air.
