The uniformity of tire/wheel assembly, such as radial force variation and balance, causes the vehicle vibration which is called shake or shimmy.Especially the assembly uniformity depends on the tire/wheel match mounting method. Therefore, in order to reduce the vehicle vibration, a various method can be considered. Currently the matching method based on tire radial force variation is popularly used in car makers because dynamic balance can be corrected with balance weights.But nowadays users are concerned in looking also, so car makers require low unbalance of tire/wheel assembly.<br/> In this study a new method was proposed to improve the tire/wheel assembly's unbalance through theoretical & experimental approach. First of all,characteristics of tire and wheel which can affect assembly unbalance were studied. And new quantities related to wheel run out was defined. Based on simpe theoretical formulation, simulation study by Monte Carlo'smethod was performed in order to reduce the assembly unbalance and the results were comparcd to that or experiments.<br/> The results may imply some problem such as shake which is related to the mismatching of force variation. But, due to the improvement of quality control for tire and wheel property, the suggested new method can attribute good quality to vehicle.<br/>
한국 임산부 및 신생아에서 B형간염 바이러스 감염에 관한 역학적 고찰

The datas presented in this paper are based on 116 cases of HBs Ag positive mothers and their babies among total 3164 cases who delivered at Dept. of Obstet. & Gynecol in Soon Chun Hyang University Hospital, Seoul, from June, 1986 to May, 1988. 1. The percent of HBsAg positive mothers was 116 cases(3.7%) among total 3.164 cases. 2. The presence of HBsAg in various body fluids was as follows : HBsAg was found in 83% of vaginal fluid samples from mothers, 80% of gastric aspirate from newborns, 68% of breast milk samples, 33% of amniotic fluid samples, and 28.4% of cord blood samples. 3.Of the 116 pregnant HBs Ag-positive women, 28cases(24.1%) were HBe Ag positive and 5 cases(11.9%)were Anti-HBe Ab positive. 4. Of the 116 babies born to HBsAg-positive mothers,16(26.6%)were HBsAg-positive in HBs Ag follow-up tests at 3 months. Of the 16, 12were HBsAg-positive in the cord blood at birth, Thus there is a significant correlation between the presence of HBsAg in cord blood and in the serum of babies at three months (p〈0.001) 5. In follow-up studies at 3months, 15 of 23 infants of HBs Ag-positive mothers were HBe Ag-positive in the serum, of which 13 were HBsAg-positive in gastric content also. There is a statistical significance in the correlation of HBsAg-positive gastric content and HBsAg in infant blood at 3 months(p〈0.05) 6. Of the 60 subjects on whom follow-up tests were carried out at 3 months, 16 tested HBsAg-positive in the blood, of which 15 were HBeAg-positive in the maternal serum. There is a significant correlation between the presence of HBsAg in the serum of babies at 3 months and HBeAg in maternal serum(p〈0.001) 7. Among 11 babies born to HBsAg-positive mothers before advent of HBIG or HB vaccine, 7(63.6%) became HBsAg positive. 8. Of 6 babies born to HBsAg-positive mothers who were treated with HBIG at 0.3and 6 months of age and HB vaccine at 3,4 and 9 months of age, all cases(100%) became HBsAb-positive without HBs antige nemia 9. Of 7 babies born to HBsAg-positive mothers who received one dose HBIG at birth and HB vaccine at 0.1 and 6 months of age, 2 cases(28.6%) became HBsAb-positive and none of these revealed HBsAg-positive.
일본 뇌염의 개선군과 비 개선군간의 임상적 및 임상 병리검사의 차이에 관하여

We analyzed 43 children who were admitted and diagnosed as Japanese B Encephalitis at Soon Chun Hyang University Hospital during the periods of 3 months from August to October, 1982 and classified them into improvement group(32 cases) and non improvement group(11 cases) according to clinical and clinicopathological laboratory differences. The results were as follows: 1. Male was frequently affected than female in the improvement group, in the ratio of 2:1, but there was no sex difference in the non improvement group. 12 to 13 year old group was most commonly affected in the improvement group and under 3 year old group in the non improvement group. There was no difference of monthly occurrence between improvement and non improvement group. 2. On admission, most common chief complaints were fever, headache, vomiting, anorexia, orderly in the improvement group, and fever, convulsion, headache, vomiting orderly in the non improvement group. Changes of mentality occurred in 27 cases(84%) among the improvement group and all cases among the non improvement group. The Babinski sign was noted in 7 cases(22%) among the improvement group and 2 cases(18%) among the non improvement group. Fever, convulsion, light coma and Babinski sign were more prolonged in the non improvement group than improvement group. 3. On admission, peripheral blood examinations showed leukocytosis, prominent neutrophils and increased ESR like an acute bacterial infection, and there were no difference between improvement group and non improvement group. Leukocytosis was more prolonged in the non improvement group. 4. Cerebrospinal findings showed no difference between improvement group and non improvement group, except that increased protein level was prolonged in the non improvement group. 5. There was no difference in positive rate of H.I. test(65%) between improvement group and non improvement group. 6. Japanese B Encephalitis vaccination was done in 6 cases (19%) among the improvement group and was not done in all of non improvement group. 7. S.G.P.T. was increased in half (50%) of improvement group and non improvement group. 8. Improvement rate of the gamma-globulin and intrferon administration group was 83%, and improvement rate of the group that the gamma-globulin and intrferon was not used was 57%. 9. The motality was 7 percent. Key words: Japanese B Encephalitis.
