        增量材 種類中 옥수수피區·미강區·牛糞區順으로 收量이 높았다. 增量材 無處理區 및 톱밥 단용區·계분區·탈지강區는 유의차가 없었다. Attudy was conducted to understand the influence of some filler on yield and quality of pleorutus osteatus Quel. The results obtained were as follows: The yield was significantly increased by addition of corn, rice bran and ox manure, and not significantly increased by sawdust, fowl dropping and defatted rice bran.

        딸기의 몇가지 육묘방법이 화아분화시기에 미치는 영향을 구명코져 본 실험을 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. "정보"의 경우 평지 무가식 육묘는 9월 22일, 평지가식 육묘는 9월 18일, 평지 Pot 육묘는 9월 15일, 준고냉지 (400m) Pot 가식육묘는 9월 10일, 고냉지(800m) Pot 육묘는 9월 6일 전후해서 화아분화가 시작되었다. 2. "정보"의 평지육묘, 가식, Pot 이식, 차광(70%) 단일(8시간) 냉수막 처리를 한 경우 9월 6일 즉 고냉지 Pot 육묘와 같은 시기에 화아분화가 시작되었으며 처리기간은 32±2일 전후가 가장 양호한 결과를 나타내었다. 3. "정보"의 화아분화 기간은 9∼9월의 기상조건, 묘의 소질, 육묘조건에 따라 차이는 있으나 대개 11±4일 정도였다. The experiment was conducted to find out the floral differentiation time of Strawberry on growing treatments during seedling. The results are as follows ; 1. The begining of floral differentiation of "JUNG BO" Showed on September 22 in 20m sea level, without transplanting September 18 in Flat transplauting, September 15 in pot seedling, September 10 in 400m sea level transplanting, September 6 in 800m level seedling. 2. The floral differentiation time of "JUNG BO" Seedling treated in 20m sea level, transplanting to the field, pot transplanting, shading 70% for 8 hrs a day, and water spray curtain started the same day and the length of treatment for 32±2 days showed the best result. 3. The floral differentiation time of "JUNG BO" Seedling varied deend on the climate condition, seedlings strength or weakeness and seedling method, but it took about 11±4 days.

        This experiment was Cried out to investigate the influence of fruiting habit of Various rnnner and pollinating time on fruitiny of Water mellon at the field, located at well lighted and Well Ventilated, Slugish Sloped mountain. The results obtained in this experiment were as follows. 1. Female flower were mainly Set at from sixth to twentyfith node of main runer, but any fruit was not beared at from the sixth to tenth node and then from twenysith to thirtieth node, fruits were beared well. 2. Female flowers were almost beared at from eleventh to fiftenth node of sun runer and grandson runer, and many fruits were beard at them. 3. At the number of fruit per plant to the total female flower, main runer. Son runer. grandson runer was 17%, 5%, 25%, respectively. 4. Main runer, Son runer, grandson runer 4.4㎏, 26.8㎏, 9㎏ in the yields, respectively. 5. Latenal sterns were set at third to fourth node were vigorous and had many yields. 6. When the pollinaion was imidiathely done floweriug, from nine to ten O'clock, fertility rate was good. 7. When the pollination was done at five to six O'clock and after twelve O'clock, fertility rate was bad, 8. Pollination time was delayed at the Cloudy days.

      • 양파栽培 現況 調査 : 1984年 義昌郡 天加面(加德島)

        The Status of the Onion Production was Surveyed in the area of Chun Ga Myeon (Ga Duk Do island) located in between Jin Hae and Busan Cit, and near the enterence of Nak Dong River, where its area in 296.4㏊ and the percentase of the number of farmer's house is more than 95 of all, percentase of Onion Culture farm was 37. The results obtained were summarized as follows: 1) The total number of house was decreased up to 1980 with 967 house and then increased afterward(1082 houses in 1984) 2) In the Case of paddy field, the area of Onion Culture in 1984(paddy field : 35㏊) was increased with 16㏊ than that of 1970. 3) The yield of Onion in 1984 was the located with 1,645M/T per house of Onion farm but the total income was the highest with 493.500Won. The bad weather condition in 1984 brought the production decreased and the price increased. 4) Lack of rain Continued till the late of April, the Critical period for the growth of Onion, too cold weather brought the growth defect and finally It Is Considered the product decreased.

      • CdS:In 單結晶의 基本特性과 photosensor로의 應用

        The opto-electrical properties of the CdS : In single crystals were studied by these means of the scanning electron microscope, X-ray diffraction, optical transmission & photoconductivity, resitivity variation v.s. impurites, and resitivity v.s. photon flux change. By X-ray diffraction measurement, the structure was found to be hexagonal and the lattice constant was calculated to be a_o=4.13Å and c_o=6.75Å The band gap was estimated to be about 2,419eV (300K). By the transmission measure ments a donor impurity level of In or Al was 0.024eV below the conduction level edge. For the application on the photosensor, the resistivity(ρ) variation of the CdS : In was measured with respect to photon flux(P_o) change and to wavelength, the resistivity was found to be ρ=8.75×10^6P_o^-125 (Ω―㎝/Lux) and the photoconductivity showed its highest response peak between 5,000Å and 5,400Å ranges.

        Various cytokines including IL-1β, IL-2, IL-4, IL-10, IL-12p40, IFN-r, and TNF-α have been recently reported to play important roles in both host and donor cell activations during xenotransplantation. Interleukin (IL)-18, a proinflammatory cytokine, can induce IL-4 and IL-13 production in T cells, NK cells, B cells, mast cells, and basophils. IL-18 has the capacity to stimulate innate immunity and both Th1-and Th2- mediated responses, but little is known to involve in the xenograft rejection. In order to investigate the role of IL-18 in xenograft rejection, we transplanted the pig kidney (PK15) cells to C57BL/6 mouse with or without intraperitoneal injection of mouse recombinatant IL-18, It was analyzed the population of T cell, B cell and NK cell in the mice transplanted with PK 15 cells and recombinant IL-18 by flow cytometry. We found that splenic CD3+ T cells were increased in mice injected PKl5 cells with recombinant IL-18. These results suggest that recombinant IL-18 is critical in the xenograft rejection by increasing T cell population of the recipients.

        <P>The dopamine precursor <SMALL>l</SMALL>-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (<SMALL>l</SMALL>-DOPA) is widely used as a therapeutic choice for the treatment of patients with Parkinson's disease. However, the long-term use of <SMALL>l</SMALL>-DOPA leads to the development of debilitating involuntary movements, called <SMALL>l</SMALL>-DOPA-induced dyskinesia (LID). The cAMP/protein kinase A (PKA) signaling in the striatum is known to play a role in LID. However, from among the nine known adenylyl cyclases (ACs) present in the striatum, the AC that mediates LID remains unknown. To address this issue, we prepared an animal model with unilateral 6-hydroxydopamine lesions in the substantia nigra in wild-type and AC5-knock-out (KO) mice, and examined behavioral responses to short-term or long-term treatment with <SMALL>l</SMALL>-DOPA. Compared with the behavioral responses of wild-type mice, LID was profoundly reduced in AC5-KO mice. The behavioral protection of long-term treatment with <SMALL>l</SMALL>-DOPA in AC5-KO mice was preceded by a decrease in the phosphorylation levels of PKA substrates ERK (extracellular signal-regulated kinase) 1/2, MSK1 (mitogen- and stress-activated protein kinase 1), and histone H3, levels of which were all increased in the lesioned striatum of wild-type mice. Consistently, FosB/ΔFosB expression, which was induced by long-term <SMALL>l</SMALL>-DOPA treatment in the lesioned striatum, was also decreased in AC5-KO mice. Moreover, suppression of AC5 in the dorsal striatum with lentivirus-shRNA-AC5 was sufficient to attenuate LID, suggesting that the AC5-regulated signaling cascade in the striatum mediates LID. These results identify the AC5/cAMP system in the dorsal striatum as a therapeutic target for the treatment of LID in patients with Parkinson's disease.</P>

        Ultrasound-Assisted Mental Nerve Block and Pulsed Radiofrequency Treatment for Intractable Postherpetic Neuralgia: Three Case Studies

        Postherpetic neuralgia (PHN) is one of the most difficult pain syndromes to treat. Invasive treatments may be considered when patients fail to obtain adequate pain relief from noninvasive treatment approaches. Here, we present three cases of PHN in the mandibular branch treated with ultrasound-assisted mental nerve block and pulsed radiofrequency treatment. None of the patients had adequate pain relief from the medical therapy, so we performed the mental nerve block on the affected side under ultrasound assistance. Two patients showed satisfactory pain relief continuously over 12 months without any further interventions, whereas one patient only had short-term pain relief. For the patient had short-term pain relief we performed pulsed radiofrequency treatment (PRFT) on the left mental nerve under ultrasound assistance. After PRFT, the patient had adequate pain relief for 6 months and there was no need for further management.
