        은희경의 「내가 살았던 집」에 나타나는 영화적 기법

        The strategy of the narrative in the novel of Eun Hi-Kyoung is verified. First, in her text whose character has “the cynical smile” and “the feigned wickedness”, which has the peculiarity that a “focalizer” and “voice” in the text is divided and overlaped. When a focalizer and voice is certainly divided, a focalizer secures the distance with the objectivity and just get a view of the world and the object as well as a character in the text with a view of “the cynical smile” and “the feigned wickedness”. But in the story about the past which is located in the interval of the present time, a focalizer and voice is unjustly divided, or overlaped almost. And throughout this story about the past, A event of the precent which looks meaningless acquires the meaning. At this time, we can realize that the writer is hiding away a restrained desire and thought behind the “the cynical smile”.<br/> Second, the Hard-cut of Montage which appears in the 「The House that I had been」 shows the transformed space made in the memory which looks the object. The arrangement that the past and the present, or difficult stories, or the object and the space stand in a line gives a reader the construable space. At the same time, the meaningless event that happens now has the meaning throughout the memory about the past and a reader can see and feel the space closer than others. Those peculiarities are the modern novel's and film-art's. Eun Hi-Kyoung makes the effect throughout the strategy of the narrative which evokes “the cynical smile” and "the feigned wickedness" that it is made in that a focalizer and voice is divided and overlaped, or situations and shots stand in a line.

        A Damage Constitutive Model of Q345B Steel in Circular Tubes Based on Cyclic Experiments and Its Application on Structure

        Q235B and Q345B are two structural steel grades widely used in China. In previous studies, more precisely in 2012, Nie defi ned a normalized constitutive model using material damage accumulation to describe damage behavior of Q235B steel in circular tubes. This paper focuses on the hysteretic damage behavior of Q345B steel in a circular steel tube under cyclic loads and describes the damage mechanism through a damage constitutive model based on experimental results. Three equations are implemented in the constitutive model, which includes a damage index to accurately describe the plastic and damage behavior of the material. Experiments were conducted in which a cyclic loading is applied in three directions on a circular steel tube. The constitutive model was implemented in the ABAQUS FEA software through a user-defi ned subroutine. Some parameters in the constitutive model were calibrated based on the experimental and numerical results. The performance behavior of a single-layer reticulated dome under seismic motion record was investigated through the increment dynamic analysis method. The results indicate that the constitutive model is suitable for analyses and quantifying seismic damage accumulation and progressive failure and it is also benefi cial for investigating the nonlinear dynamic behavior of structures under seismic loads. The eff ect of accumulated material damage can describe large-scale structural deformation and obvious reduction in the failure limit load.

        Scholarly Periodicals and World Literature Research and Exchange

        The early appearance of periodicals in China is largely under the influence of Western scholarship. The first Chinese language magazine Chinese Monthly Magazine (Cha Shi Su MeiYue TongJi Zhuan), for instance, was jointly issued by two Christian Protestant missionaries in 1865 in Malacca. The earliest literary periodicals appeared in the late Qing Dynasty, of which the four representative popular fiction magazines were New Fiction (Xin Xiaoshuo), Illustrated Fictions (Xiuxiang Xiaoshuo), The All-Story Monthly (Yue yue Xiao Shuo) and Forest of Fiction (Xiaoshuo Lin). As periodicals serve as the principal medium for publishing research, they have a great impact upon the process of scholarly dissemination and communication. Ever since the New Culture Movement, scholarly journals, through introducing foreign literature into China, have been playing a vital part in literary research on world literature. In order for Chinese scholarly journals to be recognized worldwide, it is of great necessity to promote academic quality and realize the professionalization and internationalization of journals.

      • Impact of sugarcane bagasse-derived biochar on heavy metal availability and microbial activity: A field study

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>In the current study, we conducted a field experiment using the test plant, <I>Brassica chinesis</I> L. (pak choi), to investigate the effect of sugarcane bagasse-derived biochar on the bioavailability of cadmium (Cd), copper (Cu) and lead (Pb), and the health of soil microbiota in a contaminated soil. Biochar application significantly (<I>P</I> < 0.05) increased pak choi yield. Bioavailability of heavy metals to plant shoots and roots decreased with increasing biochar application rates (at 0, 1.5, 2.25 and 3.0 t ha<SUP>−1</SUP>). Sequential extraction of the biochar-treated and -untreated soil revealed that exchangeable Cd reduced whereas organically-bound fraction increased with increasing biochar rate. The labile fractions of Cu and Pb decreased, but the residual fraction increased in biochar-treated soils compared to the control. Urease, catalase and invertase activities, and the populations of bacteria and actinomycetes were significantly enhanced, whereas fungi population declined in biochar-treated soils. This study highlights that sugarcane bagasse biochar has the potential to support the remediation of soils contaminated with heavy metals, and as such can improve the yield and quality of agricultural crops.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Sugarcane bagasse biochar amendment reduced availability of Cd, Cu and Pb in soils. </LI> <LI> Heavy metals were less labile in the biochar-treated soils. </LI> <LI> Biochar amendment induced an increase in soil enzyme and microbial activity. </LI> <LI> Edible part of pak choi was safer for human consumption after biochar amendment. </LI> </UL> </P>

      • 중국의 도시고형폐기물매립지의 침출수 관리 현황 및 문제점

        경제발달, 도시화와 생활수준 향상에 따라 중국의 일반폐기물이 계속적으로 증가하고 있다. 일반 폐기물은 1980년에 3,132만톤에서 1996년 10,825만톤으로 증가하였고, 2000년이 되어서는 12~14 억톤으로 연평균 8.1%의 증가율을 보였다. 일반폐기물의 낮은 재활용율과 발열량으로 인해서, 매립이 중국의 상황에 있어 가장 적절한 처리기술이다. 최근 10년간, 많은 일반폐기물 매립지가 건설되었다. 이로서 일반폐기물의 불법투기와 단순매립은 점차적으로 사라지고 있다. 매립지 설계, 건설, 관리는 위생매립지 수준을 만족시키기 위해서 끊임 없이 개선되었다. 침출수 발생에 의한 환경오염이 매립지에 있어서 주요한 환경문제로, 침출수 발생 제어가 매립지의 설계, 건설, 운영에 있어서 우선적으로 고려되어야 한다. 일반폐기물매립지 침출수는 많은 물질을 함유한 일종의 고농도의 폐수이다. 침출수 발생과 그 성분의 강한 변동은 매립지 침출수 처리를 여전 히 풀지 못한 숙제로 남게 하였다. 심지어 침줄수가 생물학적 호기-혐기 기술에 의해서 처리된다고 하여도 방류기준을 충족시키지 못한다. 수질에 관심을 가지는 한, 경제적이고 실행 가능한 기술인 침 출수 재순환도 작은 양의 침출수가 발생하는 매립지에 있어서만 효과적이다. 다량의 침출수 발생은 중국에서 매립지 설계, 건설, 운영에 있어서 고려되어야만 하는 중요한 문 제이다. 침출수 처리시설의 건설, 운영에 필요한 재정의 부족으로 많은 매립지는 적절한 침출수 처리 시스템을 갖추지 못하고 있다. 게다가 고농도의 침출수는 처리하기 어렵기 때문에, 처리시설을 거친 침출수 역시 국가 혹은 지역의 기준을 거의 충족시키지 못한다. 효과적인 배수시스템을 갖추지 못한 몇몇 매립지는, 단지 작은 양의 침출수만을 수집한다. 따라서 많은 양의 침출수가 토양에 침투된다. 기술적, 경제적, 환경적인 면을 고려한다면, 침출수 제어는 오염원 감량 측면에서 이루어져야 한다. 이들을 만족시키기 위한 경제적이고 효과적인 기술들, 예로 침출수 재순환에 대해서 연구하였다.

        GPU-based Stereo Matching Algorithm with the Strategy of Population-based Incremental Learning

        To solve the general problems surrounding the application of genetic algorithms in stereo matching, two measures are proposed. Firstly, the strategy of simplified population-based incremental learning (PBIL) is adopted to reduce the problems with memory consumption and search inefficiency, and a scheme for controlling the distance of neighbors for disparity smoothness is inserted to obtain a wide-area consistency of disparities. In addition, an alternative version of the proposed algorithm, without the use of a probability vector, is also presented for simpler set-ups. Secondly, programmable graphics-hardware (GPU) consists of multiple multi-processors and has a powerful parallelism which can perform operations in parallel at low cost. Therefore, in order to decrease the running time further, a model of the proposed algorithm, which can be run on programmable graphics-hardware (GPU), is presented for the first time. The algorithms are implemented on the CPU as well as on the GPU and are evaluated by experiments. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm offers better performance than traditional BMA methods with a deliberate relaxation and its modified version in terms of both running speed and stability. The comparison of computation times for the algorithm both on the GPU and the CPU shows that the former has more speed-up than the latter, the bigger the image size is.

      • A Design of the Evaluation and Prediction of Power Energy Consumption of Office Buildings based on Multivariate Linear Regression

        In recent years, with the rapid increase of office buildings and the requirements to improve the office environment, office building energy consumption has increased significantly. That has brought great pressure to the user, environment and city power supply and demand. The electric energy consumption of office building conservation is the most important way to reduce the energy consumption. Simulation is a major method to understand about office building power consumption. At present domestic and foreign computer software simulation technology cannot work without a lot of professional parameters. And the obtained results is so professional that cannot give the management decision auxiliary. This paper presents a holistic statistical distribution instead of complex thermodynamic iterative computation model, and the analysis method. Using the mode "facing to the whole" for analysis of power energy consumption of office buildings, without more intricate parameters, and can be iterative adjusted according to the difference between measured data and the prediction.

        Enhanced Performance of La<sub>0.6</sub>Sr<sub>0.4</sub>Co<sub>0.2</sub>Fe<sub>0.8</sub>O<sub>3-\delta</sub> (LSCF) Cathodes with Graded Microstructure Fabricated by Tape Casting

        $La_{0.6}Sr_{0.4}Co_{0.2}Fe_{0.8}O_{3-\delta}$ (LSCF) powders with different particle sizes, synthesized through a citrate complexation method and a gel-casting technique, are used to fabricate porous LSCF cathodes with graded microstructures via tape casting. To create porous electrodes with desired porosity and pore structures, graphite and starch are used as pore former for different layers of the graded cathode. Examination of the microstructures of the as-prepared LSCF cathode using an SEM revealed that both grain size and porosity changed gradually from the catalytically active layer (near the electrodeelectrolyte interface) to the current collection layer (near the electrode-interconnect interface). Impedance analysis showed that a 3-layer LSCF cathode with graded microstructures exhibited much-improved performance compared to that of a single-layer LSCF cathode, corresponding to interfacial resistance of 0.053, 0.11, and 0.27 $\Omega{\cdot}cm^2$ at 800, 750, and $700^{\circ}C$ respectively.
