정보통신기술의 발달에 따라 IT 인력 채용 방식에도 많은 변화가 생겼다. 채용 담당자들은 이력서나 면접과 같은 전통적인 정보 이외에도 웹에서 구직자 정보를 검색할 수 있다. 오픈소스 소프트웨어 개발(OSSD) 플랫폼은 개발자들이 자연스럽게 IT 역량을 발휘할 수 있는 곳이자, 채용 담당자들이 적합한 후보를 찾을 수 있는 장소가 되었다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구는 취업시 OSSD 플랫폼의 개발자 정보(구직 활동 여부, 개인정보 게시 정도, 학습 활동 정도, 지식공헌 활동 정도)가 취업에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 실증분석을 위해 웹 크롤러를 개발하여 대표적인 OSSD 플랫폼인 깃허브의 개발자 4,005명을 대상으로 데이터를 수집했다. 구직 기간이 짧다는 것은 취업의 성공적인 결과를 의미하기 때문에 구직 기간에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보기 위해 생존분석법을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과에 따르면, 구직 현황을 명시적으로 게시한 개발자가 그렇지 않은 개발자보다 구직 기간이 짧은 것으로 나타났다. 개인정보 게시 정도, 학습 활동 및 지식공헌 활동 정도 또한 구직기간 단축과 긍정적으로 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 향후 채용 담당자의 성공적인 구인뿐만 아니라 개발자의 효과적인 구직을 위한 OSSD 플랫폼의 전략적인 활용 방안에 시사점을 제시해줄 것이다. With the advancement of information and communications technology, a means to recruit IT professional has fundamentally changed. Nowadays recruiters search for candidate information from the Web as well as traditional information sources such as résumés or interviews. Particularly, open-source software development (OSSD) platforms have become an opportunity for developers to demonstrate their IT capabilities, making it a way for recruiters to find the right candidates, whom they need. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the impact developers’ profiles in an OSSD platform on their finding a job. This study examined four antecedents of developer information that can accelerate their job search: job- seeking status, personal-information posting, learning activities and knowledge contribution activities. For the empirical analysis, we developed a Web crawler and gathered a dataset on 4,005 developers from GitHub, which is a well-known OSSD platform. Proportional hazards regression was used for data analysis because shorter job-seeking period implies more successful result of job change. Our results indicate that developers, who explicitly posted their job-seeking status, had shorter job-seeking periods than those who did not. The other antecedents (i.e., personal-information posting, learning, and knowledge contribution activities) also contributed in reducing the job-seeking period. These findings imply values of OSSD platforms for recruiters to find proper candidates and for developers to successfully find a job.
An Empirical Analysis of Player Behavior in Blockchain-based Game : Is It A Game or Speculation?

Blockchain technology has been adopted to various fields. Gaming industry is one of prominent industries which apply Blockchain technology. Still, people are worried about speculative aspect of Blockchain-based games. This paper examines the effects of speculative and enjoyable aspects on users’ playing behavior in Blockchain-based games. For this, we developed a web crawler and collected data from Cryptokitties, one of very first and successful Blockchainbased games. Fixed panel regression was conducted to test our hypothesis. The result shows that the external aspects of the game are negatively related to item selling, and the internal aspects of the game are positively related to item selling in the Blockchain-based game. This result implies that playing Blockchain-based games is mixed behavior with enjoyable and speculative aspects. Therefore, it is hard to say users play Blockchain-based games is just for fun or a speculation.
토픽 모델링을 활용한 게이미피케이션 국내연구 동향 분석

The present study aims to scrutinize the trajectory of gamification research in Korea. We analyzed the abstracts of 329 Korean articles from January 2012 to August 2023 using LDA-based topic modeling. The results show increased academic discussions in various non-gaming fields, with the majority of papers published in interdisciplinary studies. The result presented six main topics: education, virtual reality, online content, troubleshooting, UI design, and business strategy. Based on these findings, we propose future research directions.
OTT 플랫폼에서 연예인 관여도가 국가 이미지와 방문의도에 미치는 영향: 원격 현장감과 준사회적 관계의 매개 역할을 중심으로

Purpose With the rapid evolution of the OTT platform, this study addresses a notable gap in the existing literature by examining the impact of celebrity involvement in OTT contents on the intention to visit the country. We explore the intricate mechanisms through which the audience's sense of telepresence, facilitated by OTT technology, and parasocial relationships with celebirities contribute to the formation of the national image and, consequently, influence the intention to visit the country. Design/methodology/approach This study applied Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using survey data from 222 participants. Findings Our findings reveal a positive effect of celebrity involvement on both telepresence and parasocial relationship. Additionally, we observe a positive relationship between telepresence and parasocial relationship. The study further highlights the impact of these factors on the cognitive and affective national images. The cognitive and affective national images, in turn, positively influence the overall national image, ultimately impacting the intention to visit the country. This research contributes to the understanding of the interplay between psychological factors related to viewer-celebrity relationships and the technical characteristics of OTT contents in shaping national images and travel intentions.

While youth unemployment has recorded the lowest level since the global COVID-19 pandemic, SMEs(small and medium sized enterprises) are still struggling to fill vacancies. It is difficult for SMEs to find good candidates as well as for job seekers to find appropriate job offers due to information mismatch. To overcome information mismatch, this study proposes the fine-turning model for bidirectional HR matching based on a pre-learning language model called BERT(Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers). The proposed model is capable to recommend job openings suitable for the applicant, or applicants appropriate for the job through sufficient pre-learning of terms including technical jargons. The results of the experiment demonstrate the superior performance of our model in terms of precision, recall, and f1-score compared to the existing content-based metric learning model. This study provides insights for developing practical models for job recommendations and offers suggestions for future research.

The purpose of this study is to develop an academic listening curriculum based on core competency. Traditionally, since learning involved obtaining static and absolute knowledge and skills, the structure of knowledge played a major role in the curriculum. However, a rapidly changing society requires efficient problem-solving abilities regardless of circumstances. Therefore, attention has now shifted to core competencies in developing curricula. First, in order to develop a Korean academic listening curriculum, the concept and traits of core competencies will be revisited. Second, we will identify implications from the cases of curricula based on core competencies and establish the direction of developing our curriculum. Third, we will show how the Korean academic listening curriculum of Sungkyunkwan university is developed based on the core competency approach.
