본 해석적 사례 연구(interpretative case study)의 목적은 기본 학습 능력이 부족한 학생들을 대상으로 사회과 교실 수업을 진행하면서 교사들이 겪는 수업 딜레마(teaching dilemmas)가 무엇인지 이해하는 데 있다. 연구자는 이를 위해 한 초등 학교 두 학급을 대상으로 하여 사회과 교실 수업에서 교사들은 수업 딜레마를 해결하기 위해 어떤 대응 전략을 사용하며 그들이 왜 일정한 수업 형태를 유지해 가는지 심층적으로 기술하였다. 교사들의 수업 갈등과 대응 전략은 학생들의 기본 학습 능력, 과제 해결 여부, 교과 진도 및 수업 시간, 학생들의 방법적 지식의 부족등 교실 수업을 둘러싼 상황적 맥락과 교사의 신념에 따라 다르게 나타났다. 본 연구는 교사들의 수업 딜레마 극복을 위해서는 교육 당국의 재정적, 행정적 지원뿐만 아니라 대학 교육 및 현장 연수의 개선이 필요하며 교육 과정 논의시 교사에 대한 고려가 필요함을 제안하고 있다. The purpose of this study is to understand the teaching dilemmas of teachers in developing higher order thinking in students of low ability of learning. I conducted a interpretative case study of teaching dilemmas. The primary participants included the two teachers who were observed during the fifth grade first term social studies classes and interviewed after their instructions. I specifically observed how teachers attempted to solve a series of teaching dilemmas and understood why each of them maintained an instruction pattern. The findings suggest it is needed not only more financial aids but also provision with training opportunities for teachers that gives teaching skills for solving teaching dilemmas from the authorities in education.

This study was to establish the floristic composition of resources vascular plants of the southern slope area at Mt. Wangbang(736.3 m; 127˚ 08' 11" -127˚ 12' 19" E, 3 7˚ 51' 29" ~37˚ 55' 32" N). This work was investigated during the period of 1996 & 2002. Resources vascular plants were composed of 100 families, 301 genera, 409 species, 47 varieties and 9 formae, Totaling 465 taxa. Among the investigated resources plants, 7 taxa(l.2%) were Korean endemic species. The special plants based on floral region by Ministry of Environment(1999) were 27 taxa; Ⅳ rank species 2 taxa, Ⅲ rank species 4 taxa, Ⅱ rank species 4 taxa, Ⅰrank species 17 taxa. A naturalized plants were 44 species, correspond to 20.2% of totaling 218 species appeared in South Korea. Life form spectra was H-D₄-R_(5)-e type and, useful resources plants are as follows; edible source(45.2%), pasture source (41.9%), medicinal source(34.0%) and ornamental source(l6.1%) in the investigated region.
Impact Damage Resistance of Glass/Epoxy Laminates with Embedded Shape Memory Alloy

<P>This paper deals with the damage resistance of glass/epoxy laminates with embedded shape memory alloy (SMA) subjected to low-velocity impact at various temperatures. For this goal, the impact tests were performed by using an instrumented impact-testing machine at three temperatures: +20°C, -10°C and -40°C. And the resultant damages were inspected through the scanning acoustic microscope (SAM). Also, based on the impact force history and the damage configuration, the impact resistance parameters were employed to evaluate damage resistance of laminates with embedded SMA wires. As results, it was found that the damage resistance of glass/epoxy laminates with embedded SMA wires is dependent on the service temperature.</P>
A Study on Fatigue Behavior of SM490A Steel under Low Temperature

<P>This paper deals with the fatigue behavior and its statistical properties of SM490A steel at various temperatures, which is utilized in the railway vehicle. For these goals, the tensile ad fatigue tests were performed by using a servo-hydraulic fatigue testing machine at three temperatures: +20°C, -10°C and -40°C. The static strength and fatigue limits of SM490A steel were increased with decreasing of test temperature. The probabilistic properties of fatigue behavior are investigated by means of probabilistic stress-life (P-S-N) curve and they are well in conformance with the experimental results regardless of temperature. Also, based on P-S-N curves, the variation of fatigue life is investigated and as the temperature decreases, the variation of fatigue life increases moderately.</P>
Impact Damage Behavior in Filament Wound Composite Pressure Vessel

The goals of the paper are to understand the impact damage behavior and identify the effect of surface protective materials on impact resistance in filament wound composite pressure vessels. For these, a series of low velocity impact tests was performed on specimens cutting from the full scale pressure vessel by the instrumented impact testing machine. The specimens are classified into two types, which are with and without surface protective material. The visualization for impact damage by two different impactors is made by metallurgical microscope. Based on the impact force history and damage, the impact resistance parameters were employed,rod its validity in identifying the damage resistance of filament wound composite pressure vessel was reviewed. As the results, the impact resistance of the filament wound composites and its dependency on the surface protective material were evaluated quantitatively
학교체육시설물-철봉의 강도규정 및 이의 평가방법 개발에 관한 연구

학교체육시설물의 안전성 및 효율성을 향상시키기 위해서는 이의 구체적인 요건을 정하는 표준규격의 제정이 요구된다. 이러한 표준 규격은 품질규정, 형상규정 및 강도규정 등으로 세분화될 수 있으며 이 중 표준 규격의 핵심요소인 강도규정은 학교체육시설물이 보유하여야 하는 기준강도에 대한 내용을 포함하므로 이의 적합한 설정은 매우 중요하다. 또한 이와 같이 설정된 강도규정의 타당성 및 적합성을 검증하기 위해서는 강도규정에 대한 시험방법의 선정 역시 매우 중요하다. 그러나 철봉으로 대표되는 학교체육시설물은 대부분 운동장과 같은 야외에 설치·운영되고 또한 이의 운동형태가 매우 다양하므로 기존의 시험방법으로는 이에 대한 시험평가가 매우 어려운 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 대표적인 학교체육시설물인 야외용 철봉의 강도규정 및 이의 평가를 위한 시험방법을 제정하고 이들의 적합성 및 타당성 검증에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. The present study is aiming at developing the strength specification and evaluation methodology in horizontal bars intended for permanent installation for use at elementary, middle and high schools. For these purpose, the strength specification is, firstly, established through the structural analysis considering the environmental, service and loading conditions of horizontal bars. Additionally, an evaluation methodology is developed to identify the usefulness and conformity of the strength specification. And then this study ends with the tests for prototype of horizontal bars according to the strength specification and evaluation methodology through a portable universal testing machine, which is designed to be able to adjust the loading direction and operate outdoors.
