Streptomyces coelicolor의 phosphinothricin acetyltransferase (pat)유전자는 phosphinothricin(PPT) 저항성 유전자들로부터 고안된 primer를 사용하여 클로닝되었다. Southern blot 분석결과 S. coelicolor에서 얻어진 2.1-kb DNA 절편은 S. hygroscopicus의 bar유전자를 DNA-DNA hybridization 하였다. 본 논문은 S. coelicolor의 pat 유전자의 5'-flanking region의 염기서열을 분석하였다. The pat gene of Streptomyces coelicolor strain was cloned by using primers designed from the PPT resistant genes. Southern blot analysis was revealed a DNA-DNA hybridization between the obtained 2.1-kb DNA fragment from S. coelicolor and bar gene from S. hygroscopicus. This paper was analyzed for the nucleotide sequence about the 5'-flanking region of pat gene from S. coelicolor.

Effect of sulfur segregation on tertiary recrystallization and magnetic induction during final annealing was investigated in a 3% Si-Fe electrical strip containing 6 ppm (LS) and 15 ppm (HS) sulfur. During final annealing, Auger peak height of segregated sulfur on the surface of the strips reached a maximum, and then decreased to low level with increasing annealing time, which is attributed to sulfur segregation and evaporation. The magnetic induction of the thin-gauged 3% Si strip was inversely proportional to the Auger peak height of segregated sulfur on the surface. The overall profile for surface segregation of sulfur and B_(10) was observed, irrespective of sulfur content in Si-Fe strips, but the peaks of LS strips appeared earlier than those of HS strips. The grain growth rate of the LS strips during final annealing was faster than that of the HS strips, which may be attributed to the pinning effects of segregated sulfur. With increasing final annealing temperature, B_(10) value increased rapidly and the saturation level in B_(10) increased.

Scanning Electron Microscopy with Polarization Analysis (SEMPA) was used to image the surface magnetic domain structure of the 100 ㎛ thick 3% Si-Fe sheet. The thin-gauged 3% Si-Fe strips with magnetic induction (B_(10)) from 1.98 to 1.57 Tesla were prepared via conventional metallurgical processes including melting, hot- and cold-rolling, intermediate annealing and final annealing. Using SEMPA, it was observed that the B_(10) (1.98 T) Tesla sample was almost composed of 180° stripe domains which are parallel to rolling direction. On the other hand the 3% Si-Fe sheet with B_(10) (1.57 T) Tesla was composed of large 180° stripe domains that are slanted about 30° to the rolling direction and complex magnetic domain structures like tree and zigzag pattern. The 180° stripe domains, which covered a major part of the sample, had (110)<001> Goss texture parallel to the rolling direction. The domain walls between 180° stripe domains were the conventional Bloch type walls. On the other hand, the 90° domains, which covered minor part on edge of the sample, were observed in (200) grains. The domain walls between 90° domains were the Neel type walls. In high magnification, the elliptical singularity at the Neel walls was clearly observed.

This paper proposes a sound quality index to evaluate the vehicle interior noise. The index was developed using a correlation analysis of an objective measurement and a subjective evaluation data. First, the objective set of measurements was obtained at two specified driving conditions. One is from a wide-open test condition and the other is from a constant-speed test condition. At the same time, subjective evaluation was carried out using a score of ten scale where 17 test engineers participated in the experiment. The correlation analysis between the psycho-acoustic parameters derived from the objective measurement and the subjective evaluation was performed. The most critical factors at both test conditions were determined, and the corresponding equations for the sound quality were obtained from the multiple factor regression method. Finally, a comparative work between previous index and present index was performed to validate the effectiveness of the proposed index.
