NCC기법을 이용한 무인항공기용 차종 식별 알고리즘 개발

본 논문은 무인 항공기에서 지상의 차량을 촬영하여 차종을 인식하기 위한 알고리즘의 개발에 대해 논하고 있다. NCC(Normalized Cross-Correlation) 방법을 이용하여 영상에서 목표물의 기하학적인 정보를 정합하도록 하였고, 실제 비행영상을 통해 획득한 템플릿 이미지와 위성 지도를 통해 획득한 템플릿 이미지를 이용하여 영상의 정합을 수행하였다. 실내 기반 실험을 통해 정합 가능성을 평가하였으며, 위성 지도를 이용한 모의실험을 통해 NCC 알고리즘을 이용하여 차량의 종류를 식별할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 실제 비행 실험을 통해 획득한 영상을 통해 동일한 차량을 전체 영상에서 정합하는 실험을 수행하였다. 비행 실험 결과 승용차의 위치가 정확하게 탐지되었으며, 정합 결과 0.6점 이상의 유사도가 나타남을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 유사한 색상을 지닌 트럭은 정합하지 않음으로서 이종 차량의 구분이 가능함을 확인하였다. This paper describes the algorithm recognizing car type from the image received from UAV and the recognition results between three types of car images. Using the NCC(Normalized Cross-Correlation) algorithm, geometric information is matched from template images. Template images are obtained from UAV and satellite map and indoor experiment is performed using satellite map. After verification of the possibility, experiment for verification of same car type recognition is performed using small UAV. In the experiment, same type cars are matched with 0.6 point similarity and truck with similar color distribution is not matched with template image of a sedan.

Objective: Pain assessment usually involves the use of subjective pain scales; as their use may be associated with inter-/intra-observer bias, objective pain measurements, such as assessment of cortisol response to pain, are needed. This study aimed to compare the efficacy of oral dextrose and a pacifier in neonatal pain control using an objective measurement of salivary cortisol level and subjective pain scoring. Methods: This prospective, randomized, partially blinded clinical trial included healthy newborns from a nursery (n=142). Blood was sampled using a lancet and newborns were randomly assigned to four groups by drawing lots: control (n=33), sterile water (n=35), 25% dextrose (n=35), and pacifier group (n=39). For all groups, neonatal infant pain scale, neonatal facial coding system, and premature infant pain profile scores were evaluated before, during, and 2 minutes after newborn screening test by two independent observers who watched recorded videos. Moreover, samples of saliva were collected before and 30 minutes after the pain procedure, and salivary cortisol level was measured using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results: Subjective pain scores were not statistically different among the four groups before, during, and after blood sampling using a lancet. However, the salivary cortisol level in the 25% dextrose group was significantly lower than that in the other groups (P=0.045). Conclusion: Oral administration of 25% dextrose solution for pain control during the newborn screening test led to a significantly lower salivary cortisol level than the use of sterile water or a pacifier. However, no difference in pain scores was found among groups.

An attempt has been performed to separate Co(II) and Ni(II) in the sulfate solution by supported liquid membrane containing 2-ethylhexyl phosphoric acid mono-2-ethylhexyl ester(HEH(EHP)) as a carrier. The mathematical model for the supported liquid membrane(SLM) of flat type was developed to predict the permeations of metal ions in terms of diffusion at the aqueous boundary layer and organic membrane phase, and the reaction at the aqueous-organic interface. The mathematical model developed for flat SLM showed good agreement with the experimental results.

Polymyositis (PM) is a chronic inflammatory disease that predominantly affects muscles. Systemic organ involvement, including the respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts, is frequently observed in PM, but renal involvement is rare. Herein, we report the case of a 56-year-old woman presenting with weight gain, edema, and generalized myalgia. Laboratory tests revealed elevated creatinine kinase level, hypoalbuminemia, and proteinuria. Histopathological examination of muscle biopsy revealed inflammatory myositis, and a renal biopsy confirmed immunoglobulin A (IgA) nephropathy. Based on the clinico-pathological results, the patient was diagnosed with PM with IgA nephropathy. This is a report of a rare occurrence of IgA nephropathy in a patient with PM presenting with chronic glomerulonephritis. (J Rheum Dis 2017;24:241-245)

The 700-MHz and 1-MW klystron was designed and constructed by the Korea Accelerator and Plasma Research Association (KAPRA). A pulse power supply was used to manipulate the negative high voltage in the primary performance test for the klystron. After reinforcing the protection circuit, the test went on better than before. If a baking furnace is added to the klystron under fabrication, the ultra-high vacuum might be stabilized better than it is without the furnace. Various infrastructures, including the baking furnace, are under construction to develop the klystron
An Efficient Backtracking Strategy for Frontier Method in Sensor-based Random Tree

This paper presents an efficient backtracking strategy for frontier-based exploration in Sensor-based Random Tree (SRT). An existing backtracking of Frontier-Based SRT (FB-SRT) exploration is to just move back to the previous position which a robot already passed by. But in some cases, the robot generates a long detour to move to the position that has frontier areas. The proposed algorithm aims to make the previous FB-SRT strategy more efficient by modifying its backtracking algorithm. We show comparative simulations of the proposed algorithm and existing FB-SRT algorithm to identify the merits of the proposed strategy. The simulation results confirm that the robot can save exploration time and energy while it backtracks using the algorithm presented in this paper.
