Hydroxyapatite and strontium-substituted hydroxyapatite nanoparticles (n-HA and Sr-HA) were prepared by microwave-assisted solution synthesis with aqueous solutions of various Sr/(Sr+Ca) molar ratios ranging from 0% to 15%. The structural properties of the hydroxyapatite powders were investigated by X-ray powder diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and Raman spectra, field emission scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry and transmission electron microscopy. The results confirmed that strontium ions had been incorporated into the hydroxyapatite lattice. The synthetic n-HA and Sr-HA nanocrystalline consisted of hydroxyapatite crystalline phase with hexagonal structure, and the particle size was 30–40 x 60–70 nm and 40–50 x 70–80 nm, respectively. The calcined HA particle size ranged from about 120 nm to 150 nm, the calcined Sr-HA products were composed of spherical aggregates with a size of about 70–100 nm. The incorporation of Sr ions lead to the formation of vacancies in the crystal structure of the HA. The results indicated that the strontium substitution did not change the crystal structures. More Sr resulted in less calcined crystallites and formed agglomerates owing to the size effect.

Jianguo Lv,Changlong Liu,Feng Wang,Zhitao Zhou,Zhenfa Zi,Yuan Feng,Xiaoshuang Chen,Feng Liu,Gang He,Shiwei Shi,Xueping Song,Zhaoqi Sun 대한금속·재료학회 2013 ELECTRONIC MATERIALS LETTERS Vol.9 No.2
ZnO thin films were grown on silicon substrates using a hydrothermal method. The XRD patterns show that all of the peaks can be attributed to the wurtzite structures of ZnO. The TC value of (002) plane and average crystal size increase first and then decrease with the increase of solution concentration. SEM and AFM results show that many dense hexagonal cylinder particles have been observed on the surface of the thin films, which grown at 0.08 and 0.10 mol/L. The surface roughness of the thin films deposited at 0.06,0.08, 0.10, and 0.12 mol/L are 24.5, 38.3, 32.0, and 39.4 nm, respectively. Surface wettability results show that the preferential orientation along c-axis and surface roughness contribute significantly to the hydrophobicity. The reversible switching between hydrophobicity and hydrophilicity is related to the synergy of the transition of wetting model, surface crystal structure, and surface roughness.

Jianguo Cai,Ya Zhou,Xinyu Wang,Yixiang Xu,Jian Feng 국제구조공학회 2018 Steel and Composite Structures, An International J Vol.28 No.5
The dynamic behavior of the deployment and folding process of a foldable boom based on the Miura origami pattern is investigated in this paper. Firstly, mechanical behavior of a single storey during the motion is studied numerically. Then the deployment and folding of a multi-storey boom is discussed. Moreover, the influence of the geometry parameters and the number of Miura-ori elements n on the dynamic behavior of the boom is also studied. Finally, the influence of the imperfection on the dynamic behavior is investigated. The results show that the angles between the diagonal folds and horizontal folds will have great effect on the strains during the motion. A bistable configuration can be obtained by choosing proper fold angles for a given multi-storey boom. The influence of the imperfection on the folding behavior of the foldable mast is significant.

In this paper, the kinematic characteristic of the radially retractable roof structure was firstly discussed and the motion boundary of the system was also studied. The results show that the diameter of the outer boundary of the system increases firstly and then decreases when the roof is open. Moreover, the numerical study of the structural behavior of the retractable roof with radial foldable bars and circumferential foldable bars was carried out, respectively. It can be found the latter one has a better structural behavior. Then the mechanical behaivor of the system during the motion was also investigated. Finally, a loop linkage based on a special scissor-like element was proposed to support the retractable roof.
Non-linear stability analysis of a hybrid barrel vault roof
Jianguo Cai,Ya Zhou,Yixiang Xu,Jian Feng 국제구조공학회 2013 Steel and Composite Structures, An International J Vol.14 No.6
This paper focuses on the buckling capacity of a hybrid grid shell. The eigenvalue buckling, geometrical non-linear elastic buckling and elasto-plastic buckling analyses of the hybrid structure were carried out. Then the influences of the shape and scale of imperfections on the elasto-plastic buckling loads were discussed. Also, the effects of different structural parameters, such as the rise-to-span ratio, beam section, area and pre-stress of cables and boundary conditions, on the failure load were investigated. Based on the comparison between elastic and elasto-plastic buckling loads, the effect of material non-linearity on the stability of the hybrid barrel vault is found significant. Furthermore, the stability of a hybrid barrel vault is sensitive to the anti-symmetrical distribution of loads. It is also shown that the structures are highly imperfection sensitive which can greatly reduce their failure loads. The results also show that the support conditions pose significant effect on the elasto-plastic buckling load of a perfect hybrid structure.
A new method for regression analysis of interval-censored data with the additive hazards model
Wang Peijie,Zhou Yong,Sun Jianguo 한국통계학회 2020 Journal of the Korean Statistical Society Vol.49 No.4
The additive hazards model is one of the most popular regression models for analyzing failure time data, especially when one is interested in the excess risk or risk diference. Although a couple of methods have been developed in the literature for regression analysis of interval-censored data, a general type of failure time data, they may be complicated or inefcient. Corresponding to this, we present a new maximum likelihood estimation procedure based on the sieve approach and in particular, develop an EM algorithm that involves a two-stage data augmentation with the use of Poisson latent variables. The method can be easily implemented and the asymptotic properties of the proposed estimators are established. A simulation study is conducted to assess the performance of the proposed method and indicates that it works well for practical situations. Also the method is applied to a set of intervalcensored data from an AIDS cohort study.

Four novel Gram-negative, mesophilic, aerobic, motile, and cocci-shaped strains were isolated from tick samples (strains 546T and 573) and respiratory tracts of marmots (strains 1318T and 1311). The 16S rRNA gene sequencing revealed that strains 546T and 573 were 97.8% identical to Roseomonas wenyumeiae Z23T, whereas strains 1311 and 1318T were 98.3% identical to Roseomonas ludipueritiae DSM 14915T. In addition, a 98.0% identity was observed between strains 546T and 1318T. Phylogenetic and phylogenomic analyses revealed that strains 546T and 573 clustered with R. wenyumeiae Z23T, whereas strains 1311 and 1318T grouped with R. ludipueritiae DSM 14915T. The average nucleotide identity between our isolates and members of the genus Roseomonas was below 95%. The genomic G+C content of strains 546T and 1318T was 70.9% and 69.3%, respectively. Diphosphatidylglycerol (DPG) and phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) were the major polar lipids, with Q-10 as the predominant respiratory quinone. According to all genotypic, phenotypic, phylogenetic, and phylogenomic analyses, the four strains represent two novel species of the genus Roseomonas, for which the names Roseomonas haemaphysalidis sp. nov. and Roseomonas marmotae sp. nov. are proposed, with 546T (= GDMCC 1.1780T = JCM 34187T) and 1318T (= GDMCC 1.1781T = JCM 34188T) as type strains, respectively.

Pneumonia is one of the major diseases of forest musk deer (FMD) that affects the survival of musk deer breeding farms. Lung pathogenic Escherichia coli (LPEC) strains were found to be one of the principal bacterial pathogens, and O78 was found to be the dominant serotype and the most poisonous, thus it was selected as further study. Here we have finished the LPEC O78 genome sequence, genomic comparative analysis and genome annotation. In the genome of LPEC O78, genes encoded major virulence factors (VFs) of urinary tract infection (UTI) and neonatal meningitis-causing E. coli (NMEC) were detected. The phylogenetic analysis indicated that LPEC O78 belongs to the D group of E. coli and clustered with human uropathogenic E. coli (UPEC) UMNO26. Orthologous analysis showed that LPEC O78 was close to UMNO26 in evolutionary relationships, the results were consistent with phylogenetic analysis. Additionally, analysis of the specific genes using COG, GO and Swiss-Prot databases revealed specific functions in the LPEC O78, some of these differences might reflect the pathogenicity of LPEC O78. It was the first time that LPEC from FMD was sequenced, through the virulence gene analysis, an example of a genome of chimeric pathogenic properties was found. The results were in favor of the possibility that strain of animal origin LPEC O78 was dangerous for public health and consequently constitute a zoonotic risk. Moreover, the functions study of specific genes will facilitate understand the pathogenicity of LPEC O78, and aid in the development of control measures.

Jialei Ye,Jiahao Zhang,Liqian Gao,Yang Zhou,Zi Yang Liu,Jianguo Han 한국인터넷정보학회 2022 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.16 No.8
Lately, neo-Chinese style furniture has been frequently noticed by product design professionals for the big part it played in promoting traditional Chinese culture. This article is an attempt to use big data semantic analysis method to provide effective design research method for neo-Chinese furniture design. By using big data mining program TEXTOM for big data collection and analysis, the data obtained from typical websites in a set time period will be sorted and analyzed. On the basis of "neo-Chinese furniture" samples, key data will be compared, classification analysis of overall data, and horizontal analysis of typical data will be performed by the methods of word frequency analysis, connection centrality analysis, and TF-IDF analysis. And we tried to summarize according to the related views and theories of the design. The research results show that the results of data analysis are close to the relevant definitions of design. The core high-frequency vocabulary obtained under data analysis, such as popular, furniture, modern, etc., can provide a reasonable and effective focus of attention for the designs. The result obtained through the systematic sorting and summary of the data can be a reliable guidance in the direction of our design. This research attempted to introduce related big data mining semantic analysis methods into the product design industry, to supply scientific and objective data and channels for studies on design, and to provide a case on the practical application of big data analysis in the industry.
