A. 1. Herzen is an intelligentsia of a noble family. He had begun his intellectual activity on the esternism. After later forty, though prserving his earlier westernism he began to swing into the populism. Presumably, the circumstances which affected his transformation of thought are the modernization of Russia, the emancipation of serf, the failure in adapting for the culture of West, and the shock from experience in 1848, and etc.. In 60's, toward the time of his transformation to populism, he was attacked by the young radical men for 'superfluous men' whom they regarded as one of the gentry liberals of 40's. He was surely a westernizer. But it is able to see something in P.V. Annenkov's words that Herzen had begun to comprehend slavophilism through his early controversing with slavophilists in Moscow. He struck to his aristocratic tasters during his exilic life in the West, and exposed his feel a repulsion toward secular civil culture of bourgeoisie. Therefore, although he envied the western culture preserving the aroma as like a 'рейнвейна(Rhenish wine)' he had a gloomy and pessimistic view for the future of the West. In the chaos of this thought, for the hope of future society, it came up to him that Russian peasant were not dyed in the western secular culture. For him, therefore communal life of peasants is the hope of future society and the spring of the new socialist culture. In the his ideal transformation, some scholars trace out a seed of the intense russian nationalism, though Herzen plaied up the critical pose to the nationalism. Herzen had regarded the nationalism as harmfulness in the early controversy with slavophilists, and he had gave expression to his stubborn rejection toward russian nationalism facing with the Polish question in early 60's. And yet, he regarded the peasant commune of Russia as the 'samobytnost', contrasting it with the western society, and would search out the hope of the future society in the russian peasants and the peasant commune. Then, this position is the original nationalistic feeling of the third world that E. Gellner made an analysis.

신경망을 이용한 공정 오차 보정

패턴의 미세화에 따른 정확하고 신속한 결과 예측은 Iithography simulation tool 의 높은 공정 변수 의존을 요구한다. 이로 인해 simulation tool 은 공정 변수 사이의 보정이 더욱 복잡해져 광 근접 효과 등으로 나타나는 다양한 패턴들의 크기 결과를 예측하는데 많은 어려움을 겪게된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 simulation 결과 값과 실측값의 차이를 신경망 알고리즘에 적용하여 공정 변수를 최적함으로서 simulation tool의 예측 정확성을 향상시키는 방법을 제시하였다. It is required to make an accurate and quick prediction of critical dimension (CD)for higher integrated devices. Because simulation tools consist of many process parameters and models, it is difficult that process parameters are calibrated to match the CD results for various patterns. This paper presents a method of improving the accuracy of predicting CD results by applying △ (the difference between simulation and experimental data) value to neural network algorithm (NNA) in order to reduce the CD difference caused by optical proximity effects.

DSP칩을 이용한 고속 스펙트럼 분석 장치개발에 관한 연구

Signal analysis in frequency domain attracts many electrical engineers in sense that a viewpoint of the problem is puted to other direction. So, spectrum analyzer has become essential equipment as a measurement device. Because the FFT theory which becomes base of the digital spectrum analyzer, has to process many calculation, the real time processing is very difficult, and so the engineers of this field has continued to research reduction of calculation or fast processing in the FFT operation. In this paper, DSP(Digital Signal Processor) chip by development of novel semiconductor technology applys in general FFT theory, and is processed in real time. For these, this paper proposed an algorithm of the software and a configuration of hardware. In conclusion, this proved that 128 point FFT operation was able to process in real time(4,257ms).

Lenin said as follow; "In memory of Herzen's centennial we, all liberalist, pay our respects to him … but his socialism was one of petit-bourgeois' socialism in 1848." Though Lenin defined himself as a liberalist, petit-bourgeois' socialism was one of 'three reactionary socialism 'that t Marx had classified. So it Is clear that Lenin's presentation did not mean for the ideological studying. But Lenin said to his Bolsheviks as follows; "You would learn something from Herzen."Then, what is 'the something'? So, Lenin's thanks for that 'October revolution owe Herzen a debt' might be the thanks for Herzen's role to unite all anti-tsarist groups. Though A. 1. Herzen criticized Slavophiles and cleared the difference between him and Slavophiles, he hope keeping on union with some of them. Though it was a vain efforts, he was attached to union with them. Generally, Russian nationalists had an intense hatred against Poles and the problem of Poland. Herzen showed anti-Western attitude during his older ages and mentioned about all Slavic federation to be guided by 'new Russia'. But he confined this federation should be constructed on the reciprocal relation. To be sure, his 'new Russia' was 'people's Russia' with socialism. And he refused hegemonism. We can't think that Herzen who holded his own political view was convinced of the possibility which the union between him and Slavophiles might be lasted long. It seems that the only one possible point of union was the cause of 'anti-tsarists'. So, it is clear that Herzen wanted and tried to unite all anti-tsarists.

저소득 독거노인의 생활만족도 관련요인

Background : To access the influential factors of life satisfaction in low-income and living alone old people for solving the problem of the estranged elderly. Method : We conducted a questionnaire survey during the period from June 2007 till September 2007. Investigation subjects were 152 elderly people registered in two welfare centers in Busan. We measured life satisfaction of low-income and living alone old people and analyzed with descriptive analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA and dummy variable regression analysis using SPSS Win(ver 12.0k) program. Result : The mean score of life satisfaction in low-income and living alone old people was 2.52 ± 0.56. Life satisfaction in low-income and living alone old people was relatively high in groups of 65-69 years old, elementary school graduates, subjectively healthy, exercise, hobby or leasure activity, regular repast, 3 times repast per day and income satisfaction. Life satisfaction in low-income and living alone old people was influenced by age, religion, satisfaction of income, subjective health conditions and regular repast. Conclusion : From the result, we can concluded that life satisfaction in low-income and living alone old people was low and influenced by various social and economic factors. Therefore, methods for improving life satisfaction level of low income and living alone old people are required for discerning our society's equality and healthiness.

정신분열병 환자에서 세가지 청각 자극 "Oddball" 모형에 의한 사건관련전위 P3a와 P3b

Objectives : Using 3-stimulus auditory "oddball" paradigm reflecting fronto/central and temporo/parietal functions Simultaneously, we examined patients with schizophrenia. Methods : fifteen patients with schizophrenia from outpatient clinic and fifteen normal controls from hospital staffs were recruited for the study. To elicit P3a and P3b, 3-stimulus auditory oddball paradigm was employed. The 3-stimulus auditory oddball paradigm was composed of standard tone (1,000 Hz, 75 dB, 80%), target tone (2,000 Hz, 75 dB, 10%) and distracter (White noise, 95 dB, 10%). Results : P3a and P3b were prominent in fronto/central and temporo/parietal areas, respectively, in both schizophrenics and normal controls. The P300 amplitude in patients with schizophrenia was reduced across P3a and P3b (p<0.01). The P300latency in patients with schizophrenia was delayed across P3a and P3b (p<0.01). Conclusion : These results were consistent with frontal and temporo-parietal lobe dysfunctions in schizophrenics. The 3-stimulus auditory paradigm could be applied for patients with schizophrenia and useful for further exploration the disorder.

성인학습원리 기반 웍샵에 의한 사회의학 교육평가의 시도

Background: For effective education of social medicine, new and more efficient means of education are needed because social medicine consist of diverse background academics . Metohods: Workshop based lecture was carried out twice in social medicine class for medical students and was assessed with questionnaires survey. Results: Half of the students were satisfied with workshop-based learning and required more discussion time and pre-information. Conclusions: With some improvements, workshop-based adult learning method is expected to bring effectiveness in social medicine education.

자동화학 분석기 ISP-1000의 평가 Ⅱ

검사방법의 평가로서 자동화기기에 대한 적절한 평가는 특히 수입에 전적으로 의존하는 국내여건을 생각할때 중요한 과제이다. ISP-1000은 대용량, 다항목의 선택적 생화학 자동 분석기로 국내에서는 거의 채택된 경험이 없는 기기로서 효율적인 선정을 하기위하여 4가지 화학검사에 대한 평가를 하였다. 시판되는 대조물질 Level Ⅰ,Ⅱ로 검사내 정밀도, 검사일간 정밀도, 직선성을 구하였으며 100명의 환자검체로는 Cobas Mira와의 상관성을 구하였다. 검사내 정밀도는 Level Ⅰ대조물질에서는 변이계수가 4.31-8.73%, Level Ⅱ 대조물질에서의 변이계수는 1.32-8.22%이었으며, 검사일간 정밀도는 Level Ⅰ 대조물질로 얻은 변이계수는 6.29-8.974%, Level Ⅱ 대조물질로 검사한 경우는 5.78-8.22%이었다. 직선성의 평가에서는 0.9917-0.9998의 우수한 직선성을 보여주었고(P<0.01), Cobas Mira에 대한 상관관계는 0.8427-0.9857의 범위에 있었다(P<0.01). 결론적으로 ISP-1000에 대한 4가지 화학검사의 평가에 있어서 검사중 정밀도, 검사일간 정밀도, 직선성은 우수하였으며, 상관관계는 만족할만하였으나 더 좋은 결과를 얻기위하여 parameter등에 대한 재검토가 필요한 것으로 생각되었다. It is an important task to evaluate autochemical analyzers as one of the labortory method evaluations, especially considering of the domestic environments almost depending on the import. By analyzing 4 chemical tests, we evaluated the high throughoutput, multichannel, selective and rarely adopted chemical autoanalyzer ISP-1000. We analyzed within run precision, between day precision, lineality with the commercial control materials, and correlation with 100 patients samples. In within run precision, CVs were ranged from 4.31~8.73% in Level I control material, l.32-8.22% in Level Ⅱ control material. In between day precision, CVs were ranged from 6.29-8.974% in Level I control material, 5.78-8.22% in Level Ⅱ control material. The lineality was excellent(r²>O,9917, p<O.Ol). The correlation coefficients between ISP-l000 and Cobas Mira were ranged from 0.8247∼0.9857%(P<O.0l). In conclusion, 4 chemical tests of ISP-l000 were acceptable in within run precision, between day precision and lineality, and correlation with Cobas Mira was good but adjusting the parameters would be necessary for the better results.

Modified dynamic risk stratification for predicting recurrence using the response to initial therapy in patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma

<P><B>Objective</B></P><P>A new risk stratification system was proposed to estimate the risk of recurrence in patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC) using the response to initial therapy. Here, we describe the modified dynamic risk stratification system, which takes into consideration the status of serum anti-Tg antibody (TgAb), and validate this system for assessing the risk of recurrence in patients with DTC.</P><P><B>Patients and methods</B></P><P>Patients who underwent total thyroidectomy with radioiodine remnant ablation due to DTC between 2000 and 2005 were included. We classified patients into four groups based on the response to the initial therapy (‘excellent’, ‘acceptable’, ‘biochemical incomplete’, and ‘structural incomplete’ response).</P><P><B>Results</B></P><P>The median follow-up period of 715 patients with DTC was 8 years. The response to initial therapy was an important risk predictor for recurrent/persistent DTC. The relative risks (95% CI) of recurrence were 16.5 (6.3–43.0) in the ‘acceptable response’ group, 41.3 (15.4–110.8) in the ‘biochemical incomplete response’ group, and 281.2 (112.9–700.5) in the ‘structural incomplete response’ group compared with the ‘excellent response’ group (<I>P</I><0.001, <I>P</I><0.001, and <I>P</I><0.001 respectively). The disease-free survival rate of the ‘excellent response’ group to initial therapy was 98.3% whereas that of the ‘structural incomplete response’ group was only 6.8%.</P><P><B>Conclusions</B></P><P>Our study validates the usefulness of the modified dynamic risk stratification system including the status of serum TgAb for predicting recurrent/persistent disease in patients with DTC. Personalized risk assessment using the response to initial therapy could be useful for the follow-up and management of patients with DTC.</P>

Fecal Transplantation using a Nasoenteric Tube during an Initial Episode of Severe <i>Clostridium difficile</i> Infection

<P>The incidence of <I>Clostridium difficile</I> infection is increasing worldwide, and its severity and resulting mortality are also on the rise. Metronidazole and oral vancomycin remain the treatments of choice, but there are concerns about treatment failure and the appearance of resistant strains. Furthermore, antibiotic therapy results in recurrence rates of at least 20%. Fecal transplantation may be a feasible treatment option for recurrent <I>C. difficile</I> infection; moreover, it may be an early treatment option for severe <I>C. difficile</I> infection. We report a case of severe <I>C. difficile</I> infection treated with fecal transplantation using a nasoenteric tube during an initial episode. This is the first reported case of fecal transplantation using a nasoenteric tube during an initial episode of <I>C. difficile</I> infection in Korea.</P>
