        경험적 법률가 연구의 발전을 위하여 - 이호선의 「법과 정책연구」 글에 대한 검토와 제언

        이 글은 이호선 교수가 < 법과 정책연구 > 제15집 제4호에 게재한 "한국 로스쿨 체제, 과연 사법시험의 대안인가?"라는 글을 비판적으로 검토한다. 첫째, 이호선의 글은 연구목적이 불분명하며, 연구문제가 부재하며, 결론을 정당화하기 위한 방법과 결과가 충분하지 않은 등 경험적 학술논문으로서의 기본요건을 갖추지 못하고 있다. 특히 이호선의 글을 선의로 해석해서 이재협 등의 연구에 대한 재현연구를 시도한 것으로 보더라도 연구의 재현성 여부를 평가할 수 있는 필수적인 방법론을 제시하지 않고 있으며, 재현연구가 갖추어야 할 최소한의 방법론적 기초를 구비하지 않고 있다. 둘째, 이호선의 글은 표집이론, 모집단, 표집틀 등 사회과학적 표본조사 연구에 사용되는 기본적인 개념을 혼동하고 있으며, 모집단과 표본 간의 상위성에 대해 오해를 보인다. 셋째, 이호선의 글에는 이재협 등의 연구에 대한 해석적 오해를 담고 있다. 특히 사법연수원 출신 법률가와 로스쿨 졸업 법률가 간 가구소득의 차이를 비교함에 있어서 비교시점을 상이하게 설정하는 등 오류를 범한다. 결론적으로 이 글은 법학교육제도와 법률직역의 구조가 급격히 변화하고 있는 상황에서 경험적 자료축적을 통한 실증연구가 필요함을 주장하며, 향후 법학과 인접학문이 공동연구를 활성화해야 함을 제안한다. This article critically reviews the paper written by Professor Lee Ho-Sun, "Korean Law School System, Is it really an alternative to Judicial Exam?", which was published in the Law and Policy Review, Vol. 15, Nov. 4. First, Lee Ho-Sun``s paper lacks basic requirements for an empirical scholarly article: (1) the research purpose is unclear, (2) the research questions are not provided, and (3) the methods and outcomes do not sufficiently support conclusions. Even if Lee Ho-Sun``s paper can be regarded as a replication study of Jae-Hyup Lee et. al.``s research, it does not provide necessary methods to assess its replicability. In addition, the paper is not equipped with minimum methodological foundations. Second, Lee Ho-Sun``s paper confuses basic concepts in social scientific sampling studies (e.g., sampling theory, population, sampling frame), and does not correctly interpret the difference between parameters and statistics. Third, Lee Ho-Sun``s paper contains many interpretive misunderstandings of Jae-Hyup Lee et. al.``s research. For example, in interpreting the household income differences between the graduates of the Judicial Research and Training Institute and the graduates of law schools, Lee Ho-Sun sets a different time frame than that used in Jae-Hyup Lee``s research. This article advocates that more empirical studies are needed to adequately assess the rapid changes in the legal educational system and the structure of the legal profession in Korea, and to that end, that more interdisciplinary research collaboration is necessary.

        A. 高校 科學 (生物·地球科學) 및 數學科 探究學習의 評價模型 定立과 評價紙 開發

        Currently the evaluation of high school science and mathematics learning has been too much knowledge-centered without concerning the inquiring ability or scientific attitude. This study, therefore, was made for the purpose of establishing of evaluation model for high school science (biology and earth science) and mathematics learning and its evaluation items. In this paper, the research was done about three fields, biology, earth science and mathematics. 1. For the biology, the evaluation methods of inquiry learning were studied with the foreign references, and proper evaluation items were suggested. 2. For the earth science, after analizing 5 kinds of earth science textbook of current using in high school, essential 19 items were selected. 5 of them were tested in test group and control group, then, the results were analized. 3. For the mathematice, the teaching elements of「Set」and「Flow chart」in mathematics (Ⅰ) were selected and structured. Detailed teaching objects were established and evaluation items were introduced.

      • 二重 Silicon Gate NMOS 工程을 利用한 2K EPROM 製作 및 測定

        2K bit EPROM array and test patterns were fabricated by double poly silicon-gate NMOS technicue. The channel length and width of the EPROM cell were 6㎛ and 12㎛, respectively. The operation of peripheral circuits was simulated by SPICE and the expected results were compared with experimental results. The optimal conditions of cell for programming were the drain voltage of 15-17V, gate voltage of 19-21V and the width of programming pulse of 30-35㎳, respectively. At that time, the threshold voltage was shifted from 1.6V(in erased state) to 9.4V (in programmed state).

        Coexisting Spine Lesions on Whole Spine T2 Sagittal MRI in Evaluating Spinal Degenerative Disease

        Background: Studies have reported on the usefulness of whole spine magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in evaluating specific diseases such as spinal tuberculosis, spinal trauma, spondyloarthropathies, and multiple myeloma. In studies concerning degenerative spinal disease, sample sizes were small and some did not provide information on how symptomatic coexisting lesions were treated. We evaluated the types and prevalence of coexisting spine lesions found on whole spine T2 sagittal screening performed at the time of routine cervical and lumbar spine MRI and evaluated the efficacy of such screening in degenerative diseases of the cervical and lumbar spine. Methods: We reviewed 1,757 and 2,266 consecutive cases where whole spine T2 sagittal screening had been performed with routine cervical and lumbar spine MRI, respectively, in patients with cervical and lumbar spinal degenerative diseases. Coexisting spine lesions were documented and statistical analysis was performed to investigate significant differences according to sex, age, and initial diagnosis. Electronic medical records were reviewed to determine whether additional interventions were necessary following such findings. Results: We reviewed 1,252 and 1,689 consecutive cases of routine cervical and lumbar spine MRI respectively, with whole spine T2 sagittal screening. Of the 1,252, 419 (33.5%) patients with cervical spinal degenerative disease had coexisting lesions in the thoracolumbar spine. Patients with ligament ossification disease of the cervical spine showed a higher prevalence of coexisting spine lesions. Sixty of the 419 (14.3%) patients with coexisting spine lesions warranted additional intervention or surgical treatment. Four hundred and eighty-one of 1,689 (28.5%) patients with lumbar degenerative disease had coexisting spine lesions in the cervicothoracic spine. Forty-eight of the 481 (10.0%) patients with coexisting spine lesions warranted additional intervention. In both patient groups, older patients showed a significantly higher prevalence of coexisting spine lesions than younger patients. Conclusion: Considering the minimal extra time and cost in performing whole spine screening, its application to routine spine MRI can be considered in evaluating cervical and lumbar spinal degenerative diseases.

      • The Cardiovascular Effect of Single Injection and Toxicologic Effects of Repetitive 2-Week Intravenous Administration of Activin A/BMP-2 Chimera in Beagle Dog

        <P>This study was performed for the purpose to evaluate the effect of activin A/BMP-2 chimera (AB204) on cardiovascular system and toxicological effect in beagle dogs. When administered AB204 at the dose of 0.32 mg/kg via intravenous injection in beagle dogs, there were no changes in systolic, diastolic and mean blood pressure as well as in pulse rate, in addition that there were no differences in ORS complex, PR interval, R-R interval, QT interval and QTcV interval on the electrocardiography. Also, when administered AB204 at the doses of 0.25 and 0.5 mg/kg/day via repetitive intravenous injection for 2 weeks, it did not cause any significant changes in general symptoms, weight, food intake, ophthalmologic abnormality, urine, hematology, serum biochemistry, organ weight and autopsy values. Therefore, AB204 did not affect cardiovascular functions including blood pressure, pulse rate and ECG, when administered at the dose of <= 0.32 mg/kg via single intravenous injection in male beagle dogs. When it was administered at the dose of 0.5 mg/kg repetitive intravenous injection for 2 weeks, it did not show any toxicity.</P>

        Analysis of Recent Improvement of Survival Outcomes in Patients with Pancreatic Cancer Who Underwent Upfront Surgery

        Background/Aims: Recently, patients with pancreatic cancer (PC) who underwent resection have exhibited improved survival outcomes, but comprehensive analysis is limited. We analyzed the trends of contributing factors. Methods: Data of patients with resected PC were retrospectively collected from the Korean Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRA) database and separately at our institution. Cox regression analysis was conducted with the data from our institution a survival prediction score was calculated using the β coefficients. Results: Comparison between the periods 2013-2015 (n=3,255) and 2016-2018 (n=3,698) revealed a difference in the median overall survival (25.9 months vs not reached, p< 0.001) when analyzed with the HIRA database which was similar to our single-center data (2013-2015 [n=119] vs 2016-2018 [n=148], 20.9 months vs 32.2 months, p=0.003). Multivariable analyses revealed six factors significantly associated with better OS, and the scores were as follows: age >70 years, 1; elevated carbohydrate antigen 19-9 at diagnosis, 1; R1 resection, 1; stage N1 and N2, 1 and 3, respectively; no adjuvant treatment, 2; FOLFIRINOX or gemcitabine plus nab-paclitaxel after recurrence, 4; and other chemotherapy or supportive care only after recurrence, 5. The rate of R0 resection (69.7% vs 80.4%), use of adjuvant treatment (63.0% vs 74.3%), and utilization of FOLFIRINOX or gemcitabine plus nab-paclitaxel (25.2% vs 47.3%) as palliative chemotherapeutic regimen, all increased between the two time periods, resulting in decreased total survival prediction score (mean: 7.32 vs 6.18, p=0.004). Conclusions: Strict selection of surgical candidates, more use of adjuvant treatment, and adoption of the latest combination regimens for palliative chemotherapy after recurrence were identified as factors of recent improvement.       • A new fabrication method for IPMC actuators and application to artificial fingers

        <P>IPMC (ionic polymer metal composite), a kind of ionic electroactive polymer (EAP), has been used for various applications because it has light weight and can make large bending deformation under low driving voltage. In the present work, thick IPMC films were fabricated by hot-pressing several thin IPMC films and the actuating performance was evaluated. Displacement and maximum load with applied voltage were measured using a displacement measuring system, a load cell and a multimeter. Several cycles of Pt electroless-plating were performed on the IPMC films to improve the actuating performance. Then, SEM (scanning electron microscopy) micrographs and EDS (energy dispersive spectrometer) profiles of the IPMC specimen were examined. To demonstrate the feasibility of IPMC films for medical or robotic applications, the developed IPMC actuators were applied to artificial fingers and tested. </P>
