‘간호와 보건연구’ 게재논문의 연구동향 분석(1996∼2018년)

Purpose: This study aimed to identify trends in research papers published in the Nursing and Health Issues Journal from 1996 to 2018. Methods: In total, 228 studies were reviewed. Data was collected using a structured format which involved an analysis of the research methodology and keywords. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze data. Results: 77.2% of the studies involved quantitative research. The most frequently used study designs for experimental research and non-experimental research were quasi-experimental (23.9%) and survey (68.8%), respectively. Study participants were mainly patients (49.2%) and were mostly selected through convenience sampling (35.1%). Questionnaires were used for data collection in 56.8% of the research papers. Descriptive statistics (51.9%) and t-test (12.0%) were the most frequently used data analysis methods. Only 4.2% of these papers obtained an Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval. 53.6%, or over half, of the keywords were not matched with the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) terms. While the majority of keywords related to the health domain (48.1%), the most frequently used keyword was “nursing students” in the human domain. Conclusion: To improve the quality of Nursing and Health Issues, future studies need to include various research methods. Furthermore, IRB approval should be required for human subjects research. Researchers are encouraged to use the MeSH terms for keywords.
Myelin basic protein as a binding partner and calmodulin adaptor for the BK<sub>Ca</sub> channel

<P>The activity and localization of large-conductance Ca<SUP>2+</SUP>-activated K<SUP>+</SUP> (BK<SUB>Ca</SUB>) channels are known to be modulated by several different proteins. Although many binding partners have been identified via yeast two-hybrid screening, this method may not detect certain classes of interacting proteins such as low affinity binding proteins or multi-component protein complexes. In this study, we employed mass spectrometry to identify proteins that interact with BK<SUB>Ca </SUB>channels. We expressed and purified the ‘tail domain’ of the rat BK<SUB>Ca </SUB>channel α-subunit, a 54-kDa region that is crucial for expression and functional activity of the channel. Using rat brain lysate and purified ‘tail domain’, we identified several novel proteins that interact with the BK<SUB>Ca </SUB>channel. These included the myelin basic protein (MBP), upon which we performed subsequent biochemical and electrophysiological studies. Interaction between the BK<SUB>Ca </SUB>channel and MBP was confirmed in vivo and in vitro. MBP co-expression affected the Ca<SUP>2+</SUP>-dependent activation of the BK<SUB>Ca</SUB> channel by increasing its Ca<SUP>2+</SUP> sensitivity. Moreover, we showed that calmodulin (CaM) interacts with the BK<SUB>Ca</SUB> channel via MBP. Since CaM is a key regulator of many Ca<SUP>2+</SUP>-dependent processes, it may be recruited by MBP to the vicinity of the BK<SUB>Ca</SUB> channel, modulating its functional activity.</P>
허약노인의 복합운동프로그램 참여가 체력, 일상생활수행능력 및 인지상태에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 허약 노인을 대상으로 복합운동프로그램 실시에 따른 체력, 일상생활수행능력과 인지상태의 변화를 알아보는데그 목적이 있다. 연구 대상은 21명의 허약노인을 대상으로 하였으며, 복합운동프로그램 운동그룹 12명, 통제그룹 9명으로 구성하였다. 복합운동프로그램은 유산소 운동 중심의 노인건강체조와 인지상태향상과 체력 향상을 위한 4색 래더 운동으로 구성되어 있으며 주2회, 1회 60분 운동을 10주간 실시하였다. 운동 프로그램 적용 전·후에 근력(상지, 하지), 유연성(앉아서 윗몸 앞으로 굽히기), 민첩성(전신반응시간), 보행능력, 협응성(Timed Up and Go test), 일상생활수행능력, 인지상태를 측정하였다. 허약 노인에 복합운동프로그램의실시 유무에 따른 집단 간의 차이를 연구한 결과 운동그룹은 상지근력(악력)에서 통제 그룹과 비교하여 유의한 향상이 있었고, 일상생활수행능력(ADL) 역시 유의한 향상을 나타냈다. 본 연구의 결과를 종합하면 허약 노인의 복합운동프로그램 참여는 근력(악력) 향상에효과가 있으며, 다양한 신체 기능 및 인지상태 저하를 위한 예방 차원에서 효과가 있었다. The purpose of this research was to examine changes in the physical fitness, activities of daily living performance, and cognitive status of the frail elderly by combined exercise programs. The combined exercise program consisted of an aerobic exercise for the elderly and a four-color ladder exercise for improving of cognitive ability and physical fitness. Twenty-one frail elderly participated in this study, they were divided into 12 exercise groups and nine control groups. The exercise group conducted the combined exercise program of 60 minutes, twice a week, for10 weeks, while the control group maintained their normal lives. Strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, ADL and MMSE-K were measured. Exercise group showed significant improvement in grip strength compared to control group. In addition, ADL showed significant improvement only in the exercise group. The results of this study showed that participation in the combined exercise program of the e l derl y was effective in improving the grip strength, and in preventing various physical functions and cognitive conditions decline.
국내 사회정서학습(SEL) 프로그램 효과에 관한 메타분석

본 연구는 사회정서학습(SEL) 프로그램이 국내에서 어떠한 효과를 보이고 있는지(전체 평균 효과, 조절변인, 종속변인) 메타분석을 통해 검증하였다. 연구의 목적을 위해 2011년부터 2020년까지 국내에서 출간된 20편의 논문에서 43개의 효과 크기를 선정하고 R 프로그램을 활용하여 메타분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 국내 사회정서학습(SEL) 프로그램의 전체 평균 효과 크기는 0.79로 Cohen(1988)의 기준에 의하면 중간 효과 크기를 나타낸다. 둘째, 국내 사회정서학습(SEL) 프로그램 조절변인의 효과 크기는 아동을 대상으로 16회기 이상, 주 3회 이상 20~40분의 프로그램을 실시할 때 가장 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 국내 사회정서학습(SEL) 프로그램 종속변인의 효과 크기는 사회정서학습 역량의 효과 크기가 1.04로 가장 컸으며, 큰 효과 크기를 나타냈다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 프로그램 개발 및 실행에 있어서 프로그램의 질을 높일 수 있는 기준을 마련하고, 다양한 인성교육 프로그램을 필요에 따라 선택하고 비교해볼 수 있는 종합적 관리 시스템을 마련하는 것이 필요함을 시사한다. This study verifies the effect (overall average, moderator variables, and dependent variables) of the social-emotional learning (SEL) programs performed in South Korea through meta-analysis. For the purpose of the study, 43 effect sizes were selected from 20 papers published in South Korea from 2011 to 2020. We conducted meta-analysis using the R program. Result of the study are as follows. First, the overall average effect size of the SEL programs was 0.79, indicating a median effect according to Cohen’s criteria. Second, the effect size of moderator variables was found to be most effective when the SEL programs were conducted for children, for 20-40 minutes, at 16 or more sessions, and three or more times per week. Third, as for the dependent variables, the effect size of social-emotional learning competency was the largest at 1.04, indicating a large effect size. This study suggests that it is necessary to improve the quality of programs in future program development and to prepare a management system that can select and compare various education of humanism programs.
