        교실평가 실제 유형에 따른 중학생의 평가인식과 학업적 자기조절 및 피드백 추구 행동 간의 구조적 관계 분석

        본 연구의 주요 목적은 교실평가 실제의 유형에 따른 중학생의 학습을 위한 평가(Assessment for Learning:AFL) 인식이 학업적 자기조절과 피드백 추구 행동에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 교실평가 장면에서 중학생이 인식하는 평가 유형을 교사주도 평가와 상호작용적 형성평가로 구분하였다. 교실평가 실제의 유형과 AFL 인식, 학업적 자기조절, 피드백 추구 행동 간의 관계를 파악하기 위해 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실시하여 변인 간 직・간접 효과를 확인하였다. 연구대상은 D와 K지역에 소재한 4개 중학교에 재학 중인 2, 3학년 학생 450명이다. 분석 결과, 성적 산출이나 등급부여를 목적으로 하는 교사주도 평가는 AFL 인식에 영향을 미치지 못한 반면, 학습 상태를 관찰하고 의견을 나누는 교사-학생 간 상호작용적 형성평가는 AFL 인식에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로 교실평가 실제가 AFL 인식과 학업적 자기조절을 매개하여 피드백 추구 행동에 미치는 영향에 대한 간접효과를 분석한 결과, 상호작용적 형성평가는 AFL 인식을 매개하여 학업적 자기조절과 피드백 추구 행동에 통계적으로 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 교사주도 평가는 AFL 인식과 학업적 자기조절을 매개하여 피드백 추구 행동에 미치는 간접효과가 유의하지 않았다. 마지막으로 학생이 인식하는 교실평가 실제와 AFL 인식의 중요성 및 교실 평가 개선과 학습자의 성장과 발전을 돕기 위한 상호작용적 형성평가의 교육적 시사점에 대하여 논의하였다. The main purpose of this study was to analyze the structural relationships of classroom assessment practice with middle school students’ conceptions of assessment for learning (AFL), their academic self-regulation, and feedback seeking behavior. The instrument for Students' Conceptions of Assessment (SCoA-IV) was completed by 450 middle school students attending to four different schools in D or K region of Korea. A structural equation modeling analysis was used to identify the direct and indirect effects among the variables such as two types of classroom assessment practices, AFL conception, academic self-regulation, and feedback seeking behavior. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the effect of teacher controlled assessment on AFL conception was not significant, whereas the interactive formative assessment had a positive effect on AFL conception. In the analysis of indirect effects, the teacher controlled assessment had no significant indirect effects on students' academic self-regulation and feedback-seeking behavior, whereas the interactive formative assessment had significant indirect effects on feedback seeking behavior through the AFL conception and academic self-regulation. Lastly, the educational implications of interactive formative assessment for students’ learning and teachers’ instruction improvement, and the importance of students’ AFL conception were discussed.

      • Dual targeting of xylanase to chloroplasts and peroxisomes as a means to increase protein accumulation in plant cells

        <P>One of the limiting factors in the production of recombinant proteins in transgenic plants is the low level of protein accumulation. A strategy was investigated for a high level of protein accumulation in plant cells. A fungal xylanase encoded by <I>XYLII</I> of <I>Trichoderma reesei</I> was chosen as the model protein because xylanases have a high potential for applications in environment-related technologies. Xylanase was expressed in the cytosol or targeted either to chloroplasts or peroxisomes alone, or to both organelles simultaneously. When xylanase was targeted to both chloroplasts and peroxisomes simultaneously the amount of xylanase accumulated was 160% of that in chloroplasts alone and 240% of that in peroxisomes alone although the transcript levels were similar among these constructs. The growth stage of the transgenic plants also affected the total amount of xylanase; the highest level of accumulation occurred at the time of flowering. This study provides genetic and biochemical data demonstrating that a high level of protein accumulation in transgenic plants can be obtained by targeting a protein to both chloroplasts and peroxisomes at the same time.</P>

        Level-shifting Low-pass Filter Using DC-decoupled Capacitance Multiplication for Integrated Input Interface of Automotive MCUs

        A level-shifting low-pass filter is presented for integrated input interface of automotive microcontrollers. The level-shifting low-pass filter captures battery-level inputs and attenuates high-frequency noise. By using DC-decoupled capacitance multiplication, our level-shifting low-pass filter withstands large voltage spikes and improves a cut-off frequency from 3 MHz to 10.5 kHz regardless of the sensor output DCs, thus eliminating the expensive external components. The level-shifting low-pass filter occupies 0.016 mm2 per channel, which is only 0.45% of the size of the input interface. The input interface achieves 60.7 dB signal-to-noise-plus-distortion ratio. A prototype is fabricated in 0.18 μm BCDMOS technology.

        Numerical estimation on applying air-trapping mechanism to suppress sloshing loads in a prismatic tank

        The performance of the air-trapping mechanism to suppress sloshing impact pressure in a prismatic tank was numerically evaluated. In order to implement the air-trapping mechanism, a short horizontal baffle array was installed on either side of the tank to collect air by the sloshing flow. The impact pressure change was analyzed by setting the ratio of the baffle length to the tank width as a parameter, and the pressure distribution on the wall was observed through eight calculation points (CPs) set between the baffles in the direction of tank height. The suppression performance of impact pressure was evaluated using Eulerian- Eulerian multiphase model to consider the water-air two-phase flow. The visualization results show the generation of sloshing impact pressure and the effects of the air-trapping mechanism. Quantitative comparisons of time series results of pressure were performed using peak pressure comparison and fast Fourier transform (FFT) analysis. The overall sloshing impact pressure reduction was 58.2 % in the FFT analysis and the maximum reduction rate was 70.4 %.

        Review of two immunosuppressants: tacrolimus and cyclosporine

        Immunosuppressants are vital in organ transplantation including facial transplantation (FT) but are associated with persistent side effects. This review article was prepared to compare the two most used immunosuppressants, cyclosporine and tacrolimus, in terms of mechanism of action, efficacy, and safety and to assess recent trials to mitigate their side effects. PubMed and Google Scholar queries were conducted using combinations of the following search terms: “transplantation immunosuppressant,” “cyclosporine,” “tacrolimus,” “calcineurin inhibitor (CNI),” “efficacy,” “safety,” “induction therapy,” “maintenance therapy,” and “conversion therapy.” Both immunosuppressants inhibit calcineurin and effectively down-regulate cytokines. Tacrolimus may be more advantageous since it lowers the likelihood of acute rejection, has the ability to reverse allograft rejection following cyclosporine treatment, and has the potential to reinnervate nerves. Meanwhile, graft survival rates seem to be comparable for the CNIs. To avoid nephrotoxicity, various immunosuppressants other than CNIs have been studied. Despite averting nephrotoxicity, these medications show increases in acute rejection or other types of adverse effects compared to CNIs. FT has been a topic of interest for oral and maxillofacial surgeons, and the postoperative usage of immunosuppressants is crucial for the long-term prognosis of FT. As contemporary transplantation regimens incorporate novel medications along with CNIs, further research is required.

        Various terphenyl and quaterphenyl derivatives were prepared by the Ni-NHC catalyzed cross coupling of the corresponding biphenyl- and terphenyl-sulfonates with arylmagnesium bromides.         A Comparative Welfare-state-theoretic Analysis of the Social Service Delivery System - Focusing on a Comparison of Five Welfare Regimes on the Social Care Services -

        In this research, the delivery systems of social services as lower regimes of the liberal, conservative, social democratic, Southern European, and East Asian welfare regimes were compared and analyzed. It was found in this research that they have different characteristics as social service delivery systems due to the differences in the welfare regimes` historical and institutional features. While the liberal welfare regime, which emphasizes the role of the market, also emphasizes the social service consumers, the social democratic welfare regime puts a larger emphasis on the role of the state. It was also found in this research that although welfare reforms based on neoliberalism have been carried out since the 1980s in the direction in which the choice of the consumers is stressed, it is not easy to see such reforms as a new trend that will completely change the basic nature of the existing welfare regime. The social service delivery system in South Korea is not free from limitations in pursuing the marketization of social service with a public character as it is insufficient because the country positively accepted the neoliberal reforms in an environment where the welfare delivery system was underprepared as a result of the limitations of the existing productive development welfare regime. As a policy proposal for upgrading the social service delivery system in South Korea, the following were suggested in this research: (1) that reforms in public administration and finance be implemented, particularly in the cooperative relationship between neutral and rational experts and the political leadership, as a strategy for a virtuous cycle of welfare and growth; (2) that the relationship between the central management agencies and the social ministries be transformed into a cooperative one that can be coordinated by the political leadership rather than a subordinate one; and (3) that an organizational system be set up in which the responsibility for welfare delivery would be transferred to the local governments along with the substantial handover of finance and authority, and where after social care is separated from the social welfare payment connected with employment, the local autonomous governments would be fully in charge of the former and the national special public administration agency would be fully in charge of the latter.
