Thoracic surgery may be greatly facilitated by causing selective atelectasis of the lung being operated on (one-lung ventilation anesthesia). But the tube used for one-lung ventilation is greater outer diameter than conventional endotracheal tube when compare to each other with same inner diameter, so in some young children it is impossible to one-lung ventilation using double lumen tube or bronchial blocker tube because of narrow vocal cord. We performed one lung ventilation anesthesia using conventional endotracheal tube and Fogarty catheter as a bronchial blocker in 11-year old women who received lung biopsy surgery and left lower lobectomy.

Generally, the still image magnification uses image growing, interpolation and restoration in order to get magnificated image. Still image Magnification does not get high-resolution image because, amount of information is not sufficient. In this thesis, we proposed the hybrid method of high resolution image magnification. that is, to get high resolution image, the image processed by both lowpass filtering and highboost filtering. Result of apply proposed method to Lena image, we gained result of enhancement more better than formerly simple technique.

Many studies revealed the neuroprotective, cardioprotective, and chemopreventive actions of dietary flavonoids. The plausible mechanistic interpretation of the various effects of flavonoids was concentrated on the anti-oxidant or free radical-scavenging properties of these phytochernicals, both in model systems and under in vivo conditions. While there has been a major focus on the anti-oxidant properties. there is an emerging view that flavonoids and their in vivo metabolites. do not act as conventional hydrogen-donating anti-oxidants. but they may exert regulatory functions in cells through actions at protein kinase or lipid kinase signaling pathways. Flavonoids and more recently their metabolites. have been reported to act at phosphoinositide 3-kinase(PI 3-kinase). Akt/protein kinase B(Akt/PKB), protein kinase C (PKC), mitogen activated protein kinase(MAP kinase), and various tyrosine kinases signaling cascades. Inhibitory or stimulatory actions at these pathways are likely to affect cellular function profoundly by altering the phosphorylation state of target molecules and by modulating gene expression. A clear understanding of the mechanisms of action of flavonoids, either as anti-oxidants or modulators of cellular signaling pathways, and the influence of their metabolism on these properties are key to the evaluation of these potent biomolecules as anti-cancer agents, cardio-protectants, and inhibitors of neurodegeneration.

The aim of this study was to evaluate influence of grafting effect. We used ‘Spider’ (Takii seed, Japan) rootstock and ‘High Q’, ‘TY Sispen’ and ‘Apple orange’ scion varieties at the four season house in South Korea. All tomato cultivars seedlings were transplanted with distance 25 cm of plants, on 4 March of 2021 to greenhouse, where day and night temperatures were maintained at 18/32°C, and relatively humidity was within D/N 40 ‒ 90%. Grafted (GF) and non-grafted (control, CT) tomato seedlings were transplanted on substrate perlite (mixture of perlite no.1 and no.3), fertilization - EC 3.0ds/m, pH 6.0, 6 to12 times per day, cooling system-forced ventilation (open above 25°C), cooling through fog system (on above 28°C). Drip irrigation systems are used (200 ‒ 250 mL per plant in each time). Plant height (PH), leaf length and width (LL and LW), days to flowering (DF), fruit weight (FW) and yield (FY) parameters were measured. Effect of rootstock on vegetative and reproductive parameters of tomato was differed among cultivars. There is no significant difference in measurement of the PH between GF and CT treatments among cv. ‘High Q’ and ‘Sispen’ for 120 days after transplanting (DAT), except cv. ‘Apple orange’ which was identified incompatible with rootstock. The rootstock inhibited growth rate of plants cv. ‘Apple orange’ in the early growth stage on 60 DAT practically in all plants observed lethal outcome. ‘High Q’ plants no identified significant difference starting of the flowering between GF and CT treatments for all growth period, except in 10th truss. However, in GF plants cv. ‘Sispen’ and ‘Apple orange’ were observed significantly delaying of the blossom until 5th and 10th truss, respectively, then showed no difference in cv. ‘Sispen’, while GF plants of cv. ‘Apple orange’ were died. There were identified decreasing of the leaf parameters (LL and LW) with aging of plants during growth period, but among cultivars were persist difference between GF and CT conditions. As mentioned above, with aging of plants were identified significantly decreasing of FW among all cultivars regardless of the treatments, but there was persist the difference in values among cultivars and treatments. And, among all cultivars no found significant difference in FW between GF and CT plants. The significant high yield per truss and plant among cultivars were pickup from GF plants of cv. ‘ Sispen’, however there no found significant difference between GF and CT plants inside of each cultivar. It means GF no significantly affect on FW and FY parameters among all cherry type cultivars.
