Purpose: This study aims to test if the age of pregnant women affects the perception, experience, and attitude towards complementary alternative therapy (CAT), by investigating the perception, experience, and attitude of pregnant women under the age of 35, and above 35 (Advanced Maternal Age). The study will 1) find the general characteristics of pregnant women under and over the age of 35 2) compare the perception, behavior, and experience of pregnant women under and over the age of 35, and 3) find the comparison of the perception, behavior, and experience according to the general characteristics of pregnant women under and over the age of 35. Method: The subjects of this study are composed of 44 women under the age of 35 and 44 women above the age of 35, totaling 88 pregnant women visiting midwiferies, obstetrics and gynecology, and baby fairs in Seoul and Gyeong-Gi area. Data for this study was collected from November 28, 2015 to January 6, 2016 for 40 days. The collected data analyzed mean, standard deviation, t test, ANOVA, and chi-square by using SPSS 23.0. Result Results show that there is a significant difference in the perception, attitude, and experience of the two-sample groups in the use of CAT. The question of “what is most necessary when applying CAT in a hospital clinical environment” for the perception criteria came out with the results of t=9.980, p<.05. For the attitude, results showed that the answers of pregnant women under the age of 35 displayed a more positive attitude towards CAT. (t=2.421, p<.05) Lastly, in the experience section, pregnant women under the age of 35 showed more CAT use than the other sample group. Conclusion Results have shown that there is a difference in the perception, behavior, and experience between the two sample groups. Therefore further research on the efficacy and the adverse effects of CAT needs to be done.
cDNA Library Construction of Aphis gossypii Using Gateway Cloning System

Aphis gossypii was widely distributed throughout the tropical, subtropical and temperate zone. The chemical control of A. gossypii is becoming problem because it was rapidly appeared resistance expression to chemicals. We will attempt to resolve the this problem using RNAi technique. Besides, RNAi technology can be helpful to study the target genes of A. gossypii. In this study we produce cDNA library construction using gateway cloning system for selecting target gene in order to control of A. gossypii using RNAi. As a result, the 100-400bp of insert size, which is appropriate for RNAi was confirmed. Most of insert gene is associated with A. gossypii, after that insert sequence was compared with DNA databases and EST databases using NCBI blast search. Consequentially, A. gossypii of cDNA library with the titer of 3.15x105 clones were completed. And we will perform the LR recombination to transfer cDNA library into TRV2 (tobacco rattle virus) vector with att site. Then, after performing transformation using Agrobacterium tumefaciens (GV 2260), we inoculated to cucumber with A. tumefaciens. An insecticidal effect or a repellent activity against A. gossypii by changing behavior in transgenic cucumber plants were conformed. Also, the selecting target gene in order to control A. gossypii using RNAi may be provided.

<P>Hybrid lead halide perovskite possesses attractive properties and outstanding performance. The electronic structure of hybrid lead halide perovskite single crystal can be used to comprehend its intrinsic properties. In this study, the crystal structure of CH3NH3PbBr3 perovskite crystal was elucidated by transmission electron microscopy. Phonon modes and CH3NH3+ rocking modes were analyzed. Band gaps of the crystal were obtained by temperature-dependent Raman scattering spectroscopy and photoluminescence measurement. Surface potential measurement for a (001) plane exhibited a work function of the material and other phases of PbBr2 and CH3NH3Br. From experimentally determined values, an electronic structure of CH3NH3PbBr3 was built. It showed a p-type characteristic.</P>

Aims: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the one of the most common cancers and lethal diseases in the world. Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome Protein Family Member 2 (WAVE2) overexpression overexpression is reported in HCC. However, the regulation mechanism of WAVE2 and its effect on HCC progression is not well-known. We aimed to explore WAVE2 regulation mechanism through methylation study and WAVE2 role on HCC progression through in vitro study. Methods: Methylation status of WAVE2 was determined through profiling of promoter-region DNA methylation in HCC from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) data. Validation was performed with bisulfite-specific PCR sequencing and methylation-specific PCR analysis in 20 pairs HCC tissues with corresponding non-cancerous tissues. Targeted inactivation of WAVE2 using siRNA was performed in HCC cell lines and cell growth and proliferation were examined. Results: WAVE2 was significantly overexpressed in HCCs compared to non-tumor tissues and associated with poor prognosis in overall survival and disease-free survival of patients in TCGA data. Also, we found inverse correlation between DNA methylation and gene expression of WAVE2, and WAVE2 was significantly hypomethylated in human HCC compared to non-tumor. Targeted inactivation of WAVE2 suppressed cell growth and proliferation of HCC cells, and reduced the metastatic potential of HCC cells by selectively modulating epithelial mesenchymal transition regulatory proteins. Conclusions: We observed that WAVE2 is significantly overexpressed and hypomethylated in HCC. Also, WAVE2 up regulation is associated with poor prognosis in HCC patients. WAVE2 activation might be one of the key mechanisms during liver tumorigenesis and can be a candidate of therapeutic target for HCC.
기상 레이다의 지형 클러터 제거를 위한 지형적응 클러터 맵 알고리듬 성능분석

기상 레이다 시스템은 지상, 해상, 상공 등의 넓은 입체 공간에 분포하는 기상정보를 실시간으로 제공한다. 그러나 산악지역과 같이 강수 신호 주변에 지형 클러터가 존재하는 경우, 큰 지형 클러터 신호를 강수 신호로 오인하여 잘못된 기상 정보를 제공할 수 있다. 우리나라 국토는 산지가 많아서 지형 클러터의 영향으로 인한 기상 오류를 줄이기 위해서는, 국내 지형 환경에 적합한 클러터 제거 기법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 지형 특성을 반영한 클러터 맵을 만들어, 지형 클러터를 제거하는 C-Map 기법을 제안한다. 클러터 맵은 맑은 날의 원시 신호(I/Q) 자료를 이용하여 획득되고, 지형 클러터 제거는 클러터 맵과 수신 신호의 도플러 차이를 이용하여 수행된다. 제안된 알고리듬의 성능 분석은 소백산 강우 레이다 데이터를 이용하여 수행되었으며, 임계상수에 따른 지형 클러터 제거율은 91.17 %로 나타났다. Weather radar systems can provide weather information of the ground, sea, and air in extensive spatial coverage in near real time. However, it becomes problematic when ground clutter signal exists around precipitation because strong signals of ground can cause a false precipitation report. A large percentage of land coverage of Korea consists of mountainous regions where ground clutter needs to be mitigated for more accurate prediction. Thus, it is considered necessary to introduce a new suitable ground clutter removal technique specifically adequate for Korea. In this paper, the C-Map(Clutter Map) method using raw radar signals is proposed for removing ground clutter using a terrain-adaptive clutter map. A clutter map is generated using raw radar signals(I/Q) of clear days, then it is subtracted from received radar signals in frequency domain. The proposed method is applied to the radar data acquired from Sobaeksan rain radar and the result shows that the clutter rejection ratio is about 91.17 %.

This study compares the expected values of appearance management for the suit buying behavior of men in two age groups: (20s-30s and 40s-50s) to investigate the effect of male consumers` expected values in regards to appearance management on the purchase behavior of men`s suits between two generations. A survey was carried out with male consumers between the ages of 20 and 50; a total of 135 responses were analyzed by descriptive analysis, factor analysis, a reliability test, an independent samples t-test, MANOVA, ANOVA, and regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows: 1) From a result of the factor analysis on male consumers` expected value of appearance management and the information sources and purchase evaluative criteria for buying men`s suits, each of three variance assessments clearly showed factorial structures. 2) There were significant differences between those in their 20s-30s and those in their 40s-50s in terms of male consumers` expected values of appearance management, their information sources, and their purchase evaluative criteria when buying men`s suits. 3) As a result of looking at the differences in the effects of expected values of appearance management on men`s suit buying behavior according to age (generation), the younger generation in this study showed that men`s suit purchasing tendency was affected by the managing appearance factor for internal reasons such as enjoyment and self-satisfaction. On the other hand, the assessment of the older generation revealed that appearance management for external reasons such as showing social power, good human relationships, and conformity influenced their suit purchase behaviors.
