        張仲景辯治小便不利學術思想的發展演變硏究

        Dysuria has been mentioned several times in “Treatise on cold” and “Golden Chamber” of Zhang Zhong-jing in Han Dynasty. This article makes a detailed discussion of etiology, pathogenesis, treatment and prescription of Dysuria from three periods that is Han and Tang Dynasty, Song and Yuan Dynasty, Ming and Qing Dynasty. It has demonstrated the inheritance, development and innovation of academe ideas of later physicians from Zhang Zhong-jing, which enriched and developed the theory of Zhong-jing.

      • Anti-melanogenesis effect of CA in B16F10 murine melanoma cells and UVB induced skin hyperpigmented mice model

        As a medicinal herb, CA contains lots of active components and possesses various pharmacological activities. Recently l CA has been frequently applied in cosmetics for skin whitening. However, there are still many issues to be figured out, like consistent effects and unknown mechanisms. This study aimed to demonstrate the anti-melanogenesis activity of hexane fraction of CA (HCA) on UVB-induced skin hyperpigmentation. C57BL/6j mice were irradiated by UVB (100 mJ/cm², 5 times/week) for 4 weeks. HCA was applied to the left ear after irradiation for 8 weeks, and the right ear was used as an inter control. According to the gray value and Mexameter melanin index, HCA reduced melanin in ear skin compared to all controls. HCA notably declined melanin generation in αMSH-triggered B16/F10 melanocyte in a concentration-dependent manner. HCA treatment also markedly diminished the tyrosinase activity, gene expression, and protein level in B16/F10. Cellular cAMP and MITF were noticeably down-regulated by HCA. Consequently, we suggested that CA exerts an effect of anti-melanogenesis via reduction of tyrosinase that might be mainly mediated by regulating cAMP cascade and MITF pathway.

      • A Novel Intelligent Fault Diagnosis Method and Its Application

        In order to improve fault diagnosis precision and decrease misinformation diagnosis, rough set theory(RST) and RBF neural network (RBFNN) are introduced to overcome respective deficiency in order to propose a novel intelligence fault diagnosis(NCIRRFD) model and method in this paper. In this NCIRRFD method, the RST as a new mathematical tool is used to process inexact and uncertain knowledge in order to reduce decision tables for obtaining the minimum fault characteristic subset. At the same time, RST is used to serve for pretreatment data so that RBFNN structure is simplified and learning efficiency is improved in order to get an optimized NCIRRFD model for solving the inference complexity. An actual application case is selected to test and verify the proposed NCIRRFD method. The applied results show that the proposed NCIRRFD method can effectively eliminate false and improve the diagnostic accuracy.

      • Vibration characteristics of functionally graded carbon nanotube-reinforced composite double-beams in thermal environments

        This paper presents an investigation on the free vibration characteristics of functionally graded nanocomposite double-beams reinforced by single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs). The double-beams coupled by an interlayer spring, resting on the elastic foundation with a linear layer and shear layer, and is simply supported in thermal environments. The SWCNTs gradient distributed in the thickness direction of the beam forms different reinforcement patterns. The materials properties of the functionally graded carbon nanotube-reinforced composites (FG-CNTRC) are estimated by rule of mixture. The first order shear deformation theory and Euler-Lagrange variational principle are employed to derive the motion equations incorporating the thermal effects. The vibration characteristics under several patterns of reinforcement are presented and discussed. We conducted a series of studies aimed at revealing the effects of the spring stiffness, environment temperature, thickness ratios and carbon nanotube volume fraction on the nature frequency.

        영문 : 산동반도 블루 이코노미 지역의 산업구조 최적화

        중국 해양경제 개발의 첫 시범지역인 산동반도 블루 이코노미 지역은 2011년 1월중국의 국가 경제개발 전략의 일환으로 수립된 미래지향적인 시도이다. 同 블루 이코노미 지역의 개발계획과 관련하여 어떻게 이 지역의 산업구조를 최적화하여 구성할 것인가, 그리고 어떻게 주도산업들을 선정할 것인가 하는 문제가 블루 이코노미 성공의 가장 중요한 요소라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) 기법을 적용하여 이 문제의 해결을 돕기 위한 모델을 제시하고 있다. 분석 결과 同 지역의 개발을 가속화하고 역내 여타 산업들의 개발을 촉진시키기 위해서 어업, 조선업, 운송업, 관광업 등을 주도산업으로 육성하여야 한다고 제시한다. 또한 산동반도 블루 이코노미 지역의 산업구조 최적화를 추진함에 있어서 중국의 관련분야 전문가들이 지속가능한 경제성장과 효율적인 자원의 활용을 환경보호나 사회적 조화의 추구보다 우선시하고 있음을 밝혀준다. 이는 향후 同 지역의 발전경로에 지대한 영향을 미치는 결과로서 중국 시장의 중요성을 고려할 때 우리나라 기업들의 진출에 많은 시사점을 제공한다. Establishment of the Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone, the first pilot region for marine economy development in China, is a global and forward-looking proposal and has been made part of China`s national economic development strategy in January, 2011. In terms of planning the development of this Blue Economic Zone, how to optimize the industrial layout in this region and how to select the leading industries could be the critical components to the success of the blue economy. This study applies the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and introduces a model to help solve this problem. The analysis results indicate that fishery, shipbuilding, transportation and tourism should be cultivated as the leading industries so as to accelerate development and promote other industries to upgrade as well within this region. It also indicates that economic sustainability and efficient resource utilization seems to be more important to the Chinese experts than environmental protection and the pursuit of social harmony. This will undoubtedly have significant influence and implications for the future development path of the Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone and for Korean firms operating in the area as well as for potential investors.

        Impairment of AMPK-α2 augments detrusor contractions in bladder ischemia

        Purpose: Ischemia disrupts cellular energy homeostasis. Adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase alpha-2 (AMPK-α2) is a subunit of AMPK that senses cellular energy deprivation and signals metabolic stress. Our goal was to examine the expression levels and functional role of AMPK-α2 in bladder ischemia. Materials and Methods: Iliac artery atherosclerosis and bladder ischemia were engendered in apolipoprotein E knockout rats by partial arterial endothelial denudation using a balloon catheter. After eight weeks, total and phosphorylated AMPK-α2 expression was analyzed by western blotting. Structural integrity of AMPK-α2 protein was assessed by Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). Functional role of AMPK-α2 was examined by treating animals with the AMPK activator 5-aminoimidazole-4-carboxamide-1-beta-D ribofuranoside (AICAR). Tissue contractility was measured in the organ bath and bladder nerve density was examined by immunostaining. Results: Total AMPK-α2 expression increased in bladder ischemia, while phosphorylated AMPK-α2 was significantly downregulated. LC-MS/MS suggested post-translational modification of AMPK-α2 functional domains including phosphorylation sites, suggesting accumulation of catalytically inactive AMPK-α2 in bladder ischemia. Treatment of rats with AICAR diminished the force of overactive detrusor contractions and increased bladder capacity but did not have a significant effect on the frequency of bladder contractions. AICAR diminished contractile reactivity of ischemic tissues in the organ bath and prevented loss of nerve fibers in bladder ischemia. Conclusions: Ischemia induces post-translational modification of AMPK-α2 protein. Impairment of AMPK-α2 may contribute to overactive detrusor contractions and loss of nerve fibers in bladder ischemia. AMPK activators may have therapeutic potential against detrusor overactivity and neurodegeneration in bladder conditions involving ischemia.

        Assessment of the Cytotoxic and Apoptotic Effects of Chaetominine in a Human Leukemia Cell Line

        Chaetominine is a quinazoline alkaloid originating from the endophytic fungus Aspergillus fumigatus CY018. In this study, we showed evidence that chaetominine has cytotoxic and apoptotic effects on human leukemia K562 cells and investigated the pathway involved in chaetominine-induced apoptosis in detail. Chaetominine inhibited K562 cell growth, with an IC50 value of 35 nM, but showed little inhibitory effect on the growth of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells. The high apoptosis rates, morphological apoptotic features, and DNA fragmentation caused by chaetominine indicated that the cytotoxicity was partially caused by its pro-apoptotic effect. Under chaetominine treatment, the Bax/Bcl-2 ratio was upregulated (from 0.3 to 8), which was followed by a decrease in mitochondrial membrane potential, release of cytochrome c from mitochondria into the cytosol, and stimulation of Apaf-1. Furthermore, activation of caspase-9 and caspase-3, which are the main executers of the apoptotic process, was observed. These results demonstrated that chaetominine induced cell apoptosis via the mitochondrial pathway. Chaetominine inhibited K562 cell growth and induced apoptotic cell death through the intrinsic pathway, which suggests that chaetominine might be a promising therapeutic for leukemia.
