This study was conducted to investigate on the influence of the passing percent of No. 200 sieve on the compaction effect of adjusted soil sample, compared with the effect of natural soil sample, decreasing the passing percent of No. 200 sieve of natural soil sample. The results obtained were as follows ; 1.In the case of the passing percent of No. 200 sieve was much too small (A soil sample : 23%) or too large (B soil sample), though the passing percent of No. 200 sieve was decreased, the influence affecting the change of maximum dry density did not appear, but the optimum moisture content was decreased. 2.There Was a tendeney that the optimum moisture content was increased conversely, whereas the maximum dry density of adjusted soil sample was decreased.

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of soil compaction, the changes of optimum soil moisture content and maximum dry density in accordance with each weight of 3 rammers and soil types. The results obtained were as follows; 1.According to a change in soil consistency, the increasing ratio of maximum dry density to the change of optimum soil moisture content by rammer weight was appeared in the following order: Rammer II> Rammer III> Rammer I in A and B samples, but in C and D samples: Rammer III> Rammer II> Hammer I. 2.In accordance with rammer weight, the lighter the rammer weight in A and B samples and the heavier the rammer weight in C and D samples, the larger was the increasing ratio of maximum dry density in each sample. That is, it was desirable to compact with lighter equipment in purely cohesive soil, whereas compacting with heavier equipment was good in cohesionless soil. 3.By rammer weight, the larger soil moisture content, the larger was the decreasing ratio of optimum soil moisture content. 4.In the relationship between compacting energy and optimum soil moisture content and maximum dry density, the lighter the rammer weight, the larger was the increasing ratio of maximum dry density and the decreasing ratio of optimum soil moisture content. The lighter the rammer weight, the larger was the effect of soil compaction and the less was optimum soil moisture content in case of over certain compacting energy, but in case of below the compacting energy, the heavier the rammer weight, the larger was the effect of soil compaction and the less was optimum soil moisture content. 5.In case of standard compacting energy, the heavier the rammer weight, the larger was maximum dry density and the less was optimum soil moisture content.

시각장애인을 위한 촉각정보전달 장치 기반의 그래픽 자동점역 프로그램 구현

본 논문에서는 촉각전달장치를 기반으로 수식에 대한 그래프와 도형과 같은 시각교육정보들을 촉각 정보로 자동 변환하여 제공하는 프로그램을 구현하였다. 구현한 프로그램으로는 입력된 그래픽 정보를 촉각정보전달 장치의 해상도에 적합하게 다운샘플링(downsampling)을 수행한 후, 이진화(binarization) 를 통해 촉각신호를 생성한다. 그리고 이를 촉각정보전달 장치에 전달하여 출력함으로써, 시각장애인들에게 그래픽 정보를 촉각정보로 변환하여 제공할 수 있다. 결과적으로 본 프로그램을 통해 수학 및 과학과 같은 이공계열의 교육정보를 편리하고 빠르게 촉각정보로 변환하여 시각장애인들에게 제공할 수 있었다.

퇴행성 반월상 연골판 파열 환자의 한의학적 치료 효과와 Kellgren-Lawrence-grade, Body Mass Index의 상관성

Objectives The aim of this study is to observe the effectiveness of complex Korean medicine treatment applied to the patients with degenerative meniscal tear and the correlation among clinical effectiveness, body mass index (BMI) and Kellgren-Lawrence grade (KL-grade). Methods The study participants were 38 patients who had been diagnosed with degenerative meniscal tear. Participants were classified by BMI, KL-grade and treated with acupuncture, electroacupuncture and pharmacopuncture. Clinical outcomes were assessed using Numeric Rating Scale (NRS), Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Arthritis Index (WOMAC Index) and EuroQol-5 Dimension Index (EQ-5D Index). Results Both NRS and WOMAC scores were significantly reduced after treatment (p <0.001). The EQ-5D for assessing quality of life showed further improvement (p<0.05). A statistically significant correlation was observed between the BMI and NRS, EQ-5D. KL-grade was correlated with WOMAC. Conclusions These results show that complex Korean medicine treatment to the patient with degenerative meniscal tear may be effective as a conservative therapy. Further research is required to confirm the effectiveness of Korean medicine treatment. (J Korean Med Rehabil 2018;28(4):71-79)
실리콘 기반 타원편광계식 바이오센서를 이용한 심근경색 생체표지자의 실시간 초고감도 진단 농도 측정

2° 기울어진 산화막 코팅 실리콘 기판의 바이오칩과 프리즘으로 제작한 바이오센서와 검광자 회전 타원편광계를 이용하여 심근경색 생체표지자인 미오글로빈과 cTnI의 진단 농도를 수백 초 내에 실시간 초고감도로 측정하는데 성공하였다. 러닝 버퍼로는 순수한 phosphate buffered saline (PBS) 또는 PBS에 10% 인간 혈청을 섞은 러닝 버퍼를 사용하였다. PBS 조건에서는 미오글로빈과 cTnI가 각각 1 ng/mL와 5 pg/mL로 측정되었으며, PBS에 인간 혈청을 10% 섞은 조건에서는 미오글로빈과 cTnI는 각각 1 ng/mL과 1 pg/mL로 측정되었다. 이러한 심근경색 생체표지자의 진단 농도는 현재 제시된 세계보건기구의 심근경색 진단 기준 농도보다 미오글로빈은 1/15배 낮고, cTnI는 1/80배 낮다. We report highly sensitive detection of myocardial infarction biomarkers, such as myoglobin and cTnI, within several hundred seconds using a rotating-analyzer ellipsometer and a biosensor with biochips fabricated on a SiO₂-coated tilted silicon substrate. We choose the running buffer to be pure phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) or 10% mixed human serum. When we choose the running buffer to be pure PBS, we obtain diagnostic densities of pure myocardial infarction biomarkers of up to 1 ng/ml and 5 pg/ml respectively. Meanwhile, when we use PBS with 10% human serum, the measured densities of myoglobin and cTnI were up to 1 ng/mL and 1 pg/mL respectively. The measured diagnostic densities are less than 1/15 and 1/80 (in cases of myoglobin and cTnI respectively) of those referenced by the World Health Organization.
강물에서 분리한 Pseudomonas rhodesiae 의 아닐린 분해

Two Bacterial strains 1-C and 51-C capable of utilizing aniline as a sole source of carbon and energy were isolated from river waters. Both strains were identified as Pseudomonas rhodesiae based on their physiological and biochemical characteristics and 16S rRNA gene sequence. The strains were able to grow on the mineral salt media containing aniline at concentrations up to 6,000 ㎍/mL. Pseudomonas rhodesiae 51-C completely degraded aniline in a mineral salt medium containing 300 ㎍/mL of aniline as a sole carbon and energy source within 16 hours. The optimum pH and temperature for its growth and aniline degradation were 7.0 and 30℃∼35℃, respectively. This is the first report of aniline degradation by P. rhodesiae strains.
