In this paper, we propose an attitude controller for an unstructured object using CMG(Control Moment of Gyro) subsystem, which has a stabilizer function. The CMG subsystem consists of one motor for spinning the wheel and the other motor for turning the outer gimbal. While the wheel of CMG subsystem is spinning at high speed, applying force to the spin axis of the wheel leads the torque about the vertical axis. We utilize the torque to control the attitude of object in this study. For the stabilizer function, in additiion, holding the load at the current position, the power applied to the gimbal motor of CMG will be cut, which result in the braking force to stop the load by gyro effect. However, due to the gear reduction connected to outer gimbal, slow load motion cannot generate the braking force. Thus, in this study, we are willing to make a holding force by applying control power to the gimbal motor from the signal of piezoelectric gyroscopic sensor that detected the angular velocity of the load. These two features are demonstrated in experiment, carrying a beam with crane. As a result, load was started to rotate by controlling gimbal positiion and was stopped by turning off the gimbal power. Moreover, slow movement of the load was also rejected by additional control with gyroscopic sensor.
외상 후 슬관절 강직에 대한 복합 한의치료의 경과: 증례보고

The purpose of this study is to illustrate the potential for clinical improvement in treating a patient with a case of Posttraumatic Knee Stiffness with a combination of Korean medicine therapy. We treated the patient with acupuncture, electroacupuncture, CHUNA manual therapy and Interferential Current Therapy from 5<sup>th</sup> December 2016 to 13<sup>th</sup> January 2017 (total 29 times) by evaluating knee function with VAS score. After six weeks of treatment, this patient achieved effective outcome following the technique, showing that clinical symptom as able to walked and pain was relieved, VAS changed from 10 to 2 and the knee flexion ROM (active/passive) changed from 30/60 degrees to 120/140 degrees. This result shows that Korean Medicine therapy may be an effective option for Posttraumatic Knee Stiffness. Further clinical studies are needed to clarify the effect of Korean Medicine therapy on Posttraumatic Knee Stiffness. (J Korean Med Rehabil 2017;27(2):109-115)
Whiplash Disability Questionnaire의 한국어 번역 및 문화적 개작: 예비 연구

Objectives The purpose of this study is to provide more whiplash injury-specific measurement tools for Korean patients by measuring the validity and reliability of Korean version of Whiplash Disability Questionnaire (WDQ). Methods Bilingual clinicians translated the original WDQ into Korean. After consensus conference between researchers, it was back-translated into English. The pre-final version was completed and administered to 71 hospitalized patients diagnosed with whiplash injury. Validity was evaluated by concurrent validity. Reliability was assessed using Cronbach’s α and intraclass correlation coefficient. Results The Korean WDQ showed good reliability with high internal consistency and intraclass correlation coefficient (Cronbach's α=0.96, intraclass correlation coefficient [ICC]=0.82). Concurrent validity demonstrated positive correlations between Neck Disability Index, 36-Item Short Form Health Survey and WDQ. Conclusions The Korean version of WDQ is a valid and reliable tool for use as a measurement of whiplash injury in Korean patients, and it will be a very useful evaluation tool for both clinicians and researchers. 퇴행성 반월상 연골판 파열 환자의 한의학적 치료 효과와 Kellgren-Lawrence-grade, Body Mass Index의 상관성

Objectives The aim of this study is to observe the effectiveness of complex Korean medicine treatment applied to the patients with degenerative meniscal tear and the correlation among clinical effectiveness, body mass index (BMI) and Kellgren-Lawrence grade (KL-grade). Methods The study participants were 38 patients who had been diagnosed with degenerative meniscal tear. Participants were classified by BMI, KL-grade and treated with acupuncture, electroacupuncture and pharmacopuncture. Clinical outcomes were assessed using Numeric Rating Scale (NRS), Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Arthritis Index (WOMAC Index) and EuroQol-5 Dimension Index (EQ-5D Index). Results Both NRS and WOMAC scores were significantly reduced after treatment (p <0.001). The EQ-5D for assessing quality of life showed further improvement (p<0.05). A statistically significant correlation was observed between the BMI and NRS, EQ-5D. KL-grade was correlated with WOMAC. Conclusions These results show that complex Korean medicine treatment to the patient with degenerative meniscal tear may be effective as a conservative therapy. Further research is required to confirm the effectiveness of Korean medicine treatment. (J Korean Med Rehabil 2018;28(4):71-79)

Eight monitoring stations in the Yeosu National Industrial Complex will determine the concentration of air pollutants measured every hour in 2019, analyze what factors affect them, and how they correlate with the air pollutant measurements. Six air pollutants (SO2, NO2, O3, CO, PM-10 and PM-2.5) measured at eight monitoring stations around Yeosu National Industrial Complex (Seogang-dong, Wolnae-dong, Munsu-dong, Yeocheon-dong, Deokchung-dong, Hwayang-myeon, Yulchon-myeon, Samil-dong) the measurement data for each hour of the year were downloaded to analyze the concentration by weather condition, time zone, season, separation distance from Yeosu Industrial Complex, and separation distance from Gwangyang Industrial Complex. SO2, NO2, and CO concentrations were significantly higher in winter, significantly lower in summer, and O3, PM-10, and PM-2.5 concentrations were significantly higher in spring. SO2, CO, PM-10, and PM-2.5 concentrations were significantly higher between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., NO2 concentrations were significantly higher between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., and O3 concentrations were significantly higher between 13 p.m. and 15 p.m.(p<0.001). The concentration of air pollutants (SO2, NO2, CO, PM-10, PM-2.5) excluding O3 was found to have a negative (-) correlation with weather condition, and in the case of O3, it was found to have a positive (+) correlation with PM-10, PM-2.5, temperature and wind speed. It was confirmed that the concentration of air pollutants emitted from the Yeosu National Industrial Complex differs depending on the season, time and distance to the industrial complex. This study aims to establish measures to minimize health damage to residents living relatively close to the industrial complex and contribute to the establishment of management and response measures according to the properties of substances to reduce the concentration of air pollutants in the future.
