This research fulfilled the program of aerobic exercise for living during 6 months with seven men and women who are disabled people with visual impairment, The program consists or gym, swimming, aerobic and running, During 6 months, all exercises were executed 1 hours, twice a week for 6 weeks. Each exercise had self-servant and was carried out 60 minutes with teaching method of special directors in every weep Physique by height, weight, condition of exercise ability by the capacity of the lungs of the heart and lung endurance and intake of the maximum oxygen, muscular strength of stomach, grasping power, pliability by forward bending with the upper part of the body, instantaneous force of muscle in a sudden jump, muscular endurance by put-up and sit-up, agility by side-step and response of the whole body, and balance by one leg standing while closing eyes as using Helmas (sewoo systems korea) were measured. The Results, 1.There is a significant difference for both men and women in the capacity of the lungs and the heart and lung endurance, However only women have a significant difference in intake of the maximum oxygen. 2. Both men and women have a significant difference in muscular strength of stomach and grasping power to measure muscular strength. 3. Both men and women have a significant difference in forward bending with the upper part or the body to measure flexibility. 4. Sudden jump to measure instantaneous force of muscle, sit-up, and push-up to measure muscular endurance show that both men and women have a significant difference.(p<.01) 5. Side-step and response of the whole body to measure agility show that both men and women have a significant difference. 6. One leg standing with closing eyes to measure balance show that both men and women have a significant difference.
Regulatory Effect of Matcha Green Tea on Fine Dust-Exposed Cytotoxicity in Respiratory System

This study was performed to evaluate the protective effect of matcha green tea on particulate matter (PM)2.5-indued nasal and pulmonary cytotoxicity. The matcha green tea increased the cell viability and inhibited the ROS production in PM2.5-induced cytotoxicity in nasal RPMI2650 and pulmonary A549 cells. The matcha green tea regulated the expression of apoptosis, such as p-Akt, BCl-2, caspase-3, caspase-1 and HO-1, and inflammation, such as TLR4, TLR4 and Nrf2, in PM2.5-indued RPMI2650 cells. In addition, the matcha green tea showed regulatory effect of the apoptosis and inflammatory effect by increasing the BCl-2 and suppressing the caspase-3, TLR4, TNF-α and COX-2 in A549 cells. In addition, the matcha green tea suppressed antioxidant deficits by regulating the reduced GSH contents, SOD activities and MDA levels, and ameliorated the mitochondrial dysfunction by regulating the mitochondrial ROS production, mitochondrial membrane potential and ATP contents in pulmonary tissue. Ultimately, consumption of matcha green tea down-regulated the inflammatory proteins such as TNF-α, p-JNK, p-IκB-α, p-NF-κB and COX-2 in lung tissue.

Strongyloides stercoralis is a soil transmitted intestinal nematode that is endemic in the tropical and subtropical regions. In most individuals who are infected, chronic, usually asymptomatic, gastrointestinal infection persists. But, in immunocompromized hosts or in patients receiving immunosuppressive therapy, autoinfection of S. stercoralis may result in the dissemination of larvae, leading to fatal hyperinfection and increased rate of complications. We report a case of hyperinfective strongyloidiasis with bacterial meningitis in a patient receiving steroid therapy. Strongyloidiasis was diagnosed by the presence of filariform larvae of S. stercoralis in the bronchoalveolar lavage cytology and upper gastrointestinal endoscopic biopsy specimen. Her clinical symptoms had progressively aggravated and developed bacterial meningitis during treatment. She died despite aggressive antibiotic and antihelminthic therapy. Objectives:The study was performed to evaluate the effects of ElectroMagnetic Therapy treatment for patients suffering from cervicogenic headaches.Methods:After receiving medical examination at the Department of Oriental Rehabilitation Medicine, College of Oriental Medicine, Dong-Guk University from November 1, 2006 to June 5, 2007, 34 patients with cervicogenic headache were devided into two groups(experimental vs control).Experimental group(n=18) was treated with both Pulsed ElectroMagnetic therapy(PEMT) and acupuncture, control group(n=16) was treated with acupuncture only. Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) was measured as a primary outcome measure, and was statistically analyzed using t-test.Results:Experimental group was effective than control group in pain intensity using VAS, because PEMT plus acupuncture was more effective than acupuncture only(p<0.05).Conclusions:The results indicate that the pulsed electromagnetic therapy is effective on treating cervicogenic headaches.
도축처리 단계별 도체 및 환경재료에 대한 미생물학적 분석

To get the information of sanitary develoment of beef and pork, we get the result of environmental specimens(slaughter house floors, sewage, etc) in laboratory. 1. After examination of bacterial infection on after-bleeding, after-dismemberment and final products at each stage of cattle slaughter process, we got log 3.80~7.48cfu/cm2 of aerobic plate counts and log 2.60~5.23cfu/cm2 of coliform counts or so from the carcasses after bleeding, but these count levels went down little bit after dismemberment but as we continued study to the final products, the count levels kept sililar in mumbers. 2. At the slaughter process of pigs, the aerobic plate counts and the coliform counts reached such high levels of log 5.59~8.80cfu/cm2 and log 3.31~5.67cfu/cm2, respectively, after bleeding, in general, these count diminished in a big way after scalding, but they increased just little bit from dismemberment to final products. And there were few differences in the contamination levels on the final products no matter what seasonal contaminations after bleeding. 3. Test revealed very low levels of cell counts both on the aerobic plate counts of washing water and in the coliform counts, the former was log 1.00~2.69cfu/cm2 and the later was log 3.30~5.67cfu/cm2, but the contamination levels on the beds of transfering vehicles for carcasses were very high as followes: the aerobic counts was log 4.23~7.20cfu/cm2 and coliform counts was log 2.86~5.20cfu/cm2 4. Study showed the aeroboc plate counts and the coliform counts get to the highest levels in summer, the second highest one is in fall, the third in spring, lowest in winter. Resulting from the test results proven above we reached this kind of conclusion the bacterial contaminations on eatable carcasses were upto hygienic treatment of carcasses and cleaniness of transferring vehicles at the final stop of slaughter processes rather than upto at any stage of slaughter processes. Therefore we have got to establish alternatives immediately to develo sanitary quality of meat and Pork.
