      • ‘문재인케어’와 영국의 치과의료제도

        The public and the organizations related with medical and dental care payed high attention for the Moon Jae-in Care announced at August 9th 2017. The Moon Jae-in Government presented that they will cover all the necessary medical expense by National Health Insurance(NHI). The first step is to get rid of the non-covered items, such as listed in NHI as necessary but non-covered and limited number of permission even though they are essential. In dental care, the percentage of out-of-pocket payment for dentures and implants decreased from 50 to 30. The resin for children and adolescent will be covered by NHI since 2018. This study aims to deal with the critical issues, for example three ‘low’s of payment-fees-coverage, proper health care delivery system, and possibility to extend the coverage by selected or preliminary lists. Also the change of National Health Service(NHS) in U.K. during recent decades will be researched. In conclusion, it is necessary to extend the coverage with patient-centered delivery system. Primary preventive approach needs to apply based on the clinical leadership by the professionals.health insurance coverage.

      • 폴리메타크릴레이트를 이용한 케토로락 트로메타민 서방성 정제의 제조와 용출평가

        To improve administration of ketolorac tromethamine, we prepared matrix tablets with Eudragit (RS 100 or 30D), diluents (avicel:lactose=l:l or Ca phosphate) and Mg stearate using wet-granulation method. Sustained release matrix tablets using Eudragit® RS 100 7 and 10% decreased dissolution rate at pH 1.2 and 68 Ca. phosphate as diluents showed more decreased dissolution rate than that of avicel:lactose (1:l). Sustained release matrix tablets using Eudragit® RS 30D also showed very effective sustained release of KT.

      • 사군자탕이 L1210 세포를 이식한 마우스의 면역세포에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this research was to investigate effects of Sa-Kunja-Tang(SKT) on immune cells of L1210 cell-transplanted mice. The apoptosis and T lymphocytes subopoulation were tested using a flow cytometry, and the proliferation was tested using a MTT assay. Nitric oxide production from mouse peritoneal macrophage was tested using a Griess reagents, and the phagocytic activity of mouse peritoneal macrophage was tested using a lucigenin chemiluminescence. SKT suppressed apoptosis of T-lymphocytes induced by L1210 transplantation. SKT decreased nitric oxide production from mice peritoneal macrophages increased by L1210 transplantation, and the phagocytic activity decreased by L1210 transplantation. These results suggest that SKT suppresses T lymphocyte apoptosis and macrophage activity in L1210 transplanted mice.

      • 甘草엑스의 抗炎 및 抗潰瘍作用에 대한 機轉

        Glycyrrhizae radix, commonly called licorice, has been used as anti-ulcerous and anti-inflammatory agents. It's main component, glycyrrhizin, is known to be effective as an anti-allergenic, anti-hepatic, and anti-viral agent, and shows steroid-like action. Histamine mediates and modulates inflammation through a variety of immuno-regulatory actions and stress-induced secretion of glucocorticoids(GC) is generally mediated by release of ACTH from the pituitary gland. This study was to investigate the mechanism of Glycyrrhizae Radix Ext. on anti-inflammatory and anti-ulcerous action. 1. The serum histamine contents was the most increased at the dose of 25㎍/㎏ LPS. injected rats(i.p), and the serum corticosterone was not significant. 2. Pretreatment of Glycyrrhizae radix Ext. (150㎎/㎏) was markedly decreasing the levels of serum histamine and corticosterone. 3. The serum histamine content was significantly increased in 120 minutes after LPS. injection. 4. The serum histamine content was decreased by pretreatment of cimetidine (H^2- receptor antagonist) 5㎎/㎏. These results were suggested that the effects of Glycyrrhizae Radix Ext, on anti-inflammatory and anti-ulcerous action was induced by its glucocorticoid-like action and inhibition of the histamine realese via H_2-receptor.

      • L1210 세포증식에 대한 Glycyrrhizin의 억제작용 기전

        The purpose of this research was to investigate the mechanism of inhibitory action of Glycyrrhizin(GZ) on the proliferation of mouse leukemia cell-line, L1210 cells. The cytotoxic activity was tested using a colorimetric tertrazolium assay(MTT assay), the apoptosis was tested using flow cytometry. Nitric oxide(NO) production form mouse peritoneal macrophage was tested using a Griess method and the phagocytosis of human polymorphonuclear cells was tested using a lucigenin chemiluminescence. GZ ingibited the proliferation of L1210, BALB/c 3T3 cells and mouse thymocytes at 50 ug/ml/ GZ did not affect nitric oxide production from mouse peritoneal macrophages in vitro, but ingibited nitric oxide production from lipopolysaccharide and y-interferon treated macrophages. Macrophages of GZ-administered mice accelerated NO production. The proliferation of L1210 cells apoptosis of L1210 cells were induced by co-culture with macrophage of GZ-administered mice. The apoptosis of L1210 cells were induced by co-culture with macrophage of GZ-administered mice. GZ increased the phagocytosis of human polymorphonuclear cells. These results suggest that GZ inhibit the proliferation of L1210 cells not only as a direct cytotoxic agent o tumor cells, but also by the enhancement of NO production and phagocytic activity.

      • 단삼이 마우스 T-lymphocyte 및 Macrophage에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this research was to investigate the regulative action of water extract of Salviae miltiorrhizae Radix(SE) on thymocyte and macrophage in mice. The proliferation in thymocyte was tested using a colorimetric tetrazolium assay(MTT assay), The apoptosis and subpopulation in thymocyte were tested using a flow cytometry. Nitric oxide(No) production from mouse peritoneal macrophage was tested using a Griess reagents and the phagocytic activity was tested using a lucigenin chemiluminescence. SE did not affect the proliferation, apoptosis and subpopulation(CD4^+/CD8^+) in thymocyte in vivo, but enhanced the proliferation in thymocyte in vitro. The n-BuOH fraction and water fraction of SE suppressed the nitric oxide production and results suggest the SE does not affect the activity of thymocyte, but suppressed the activity of macrophage.

        병원 근로자들의 고용형태에 따른 직무 스트레스와 삶의 질의 관계

        목적 본 연구는 병원에 종사하는 정규직 비정규직 근로자의 직무스트레스와 삶의 질 수준을 파악하고 직무스트레스와 삶의 질과의 관련성 및 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하기위해 수행되었다 방법 자기기입형 설문조사를 실시하였으며 정규직 172명 비정규직 189명이 최종 분석하였다 일반적 특성과 한국인 직무스트레스 측정도구-단축형 (Korean occupational stress scale short form) 삶의 질 측정을 위한 도구 WHOQOL-BREF를 사용하였다 결과 정규직에 비해 비정규직에서 직무스트레스 수준이 높았다 정규직은 직무요구도와 직장문화의 항목에서 비정규직은 직무자율성 직무불안정성 보상부적절의 항목에서 직무스트레스 요인이 유의하게 많았다 삶의 질수준은 정규직 근로자에서 유의하게 높았으며 심리적 영역 사회적 영역 생활환경 영역에서 비정규직보다 유의하게 높은 수준을 보였다 결론 정규직과 비정규직 근로자의 직무스트레스 요인과 삶의 질 수준은 달랐다 고용형태를 막론하고 직무스트레스는 삶의 질에 부정적인 영향을 미치고 있었으며 비정규직은 직장문화로 인한 스트레스 요인이 많을수록 삶의 질이 낮았다 따라서 병원근로자의 삶의 질 향상을 위하여 적절한 관리 혹은 프로그램이 제공되어야 할 것이며 특히 비정규직 근로자의 직무스트레스를 일으키는 요인들에 대한 적절한 관리가 필요할 것이다 Objective This study was conducted to evaluate the relationship between job stress and quality of life for hospital workers by type of employment Methods Data were obtained for 361 workers in a large hospital 172 of whom were categorized as typical workers defined by permanent employee and 189 of whom were categorized as atypical workers defined by fixed term contraction Job stress was assessed using the Korean Occupational Stress Scale Short Form and the World Health Organization Quality of Life-BREF Questionnaire Results Atypical workers had significantly higher scores for job related stress in the domains Of insufficient control over work job insecurity and lack of reward in the workplace compared with typical workers who had higher scores for stress in the domains of job demands and occupational climate Test scores also indicated that typical workers had a significantly better quality of life than atypical workers especially in terms of mental health social relationships and environment Conclusion These findings suggested that factors contributing to job-related stress were different between typical and atypical hospital and typical workers are likely to have a better quality of life

        四物湯이 腹腔 Macrophage 의 貪食能에 미치는 影響

        Samultang(SMT) consists of Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, Paeoniae Radix Alba, Cnidii Rhizoma and Angelicae Gigantis Radix. SMT enhanced the lucigenin chemiluminescence and the engulfment of fluorescein-conjugated E. coli particles and did not affect the production of nitric oxide in murine peritoneal macrophage. SMT enhanced the production of γ-interferon, interleukin-2 and the cell viability in murine thymocyte, but did not affect the production of interleukin-4. These results indicate that SMT enhances the phagocytosis of macrophage via the stimulation of γ-interferon production in T_H1 cells.

        The cytotoxicity of cantharidine(CTD), the main component of Cantharis, and the combined effect of CTD and anti-tumor drugs on HeLa. Hep G2,SK-OV3. KOHS-NP, BALB/c 3T3 cells, mouse splenocytes and human lymphocytes were estiated by MTT colorimetry assay. CTD inhibited the proliferation of anti-tumor cells, BALB/C 3T3, mouse spleen cells and human lymphocytes. CTD increased the cytotoxicity of mitomycin C, cisplatin or mercaptopurine on tumor cells and BALB/c 3T3 cells. These results indicate that cantharidine has the cytotoxicity of tumor cells, fibroblast cells and immunocytes.

        The purpose of this research was to investigate effects of Sa-Kunja-Tang(SKT) on immune cells of antitumor drugs administered mice. The apoptosis and T lymphocytes subpopulation were tested using a flow cytometry, and the proliferation was tested using a MTT assay. The administration of etoposide. vincristine or doxorubicin increased the apoptosis of T-lymphocytes, but the action of doxorubicin was decreased by the administration of SKT. The administration of etoposide or vincristine decreased helper T and cytotoxic T cells population of T lymphocytes, but the action of vincristine was recovered by the administration of SCT. The administration of etoposide, vincristine or doxorubicin decreased the proliferation of T-lymphocytes, but the action of doxorubicin was increased by the administration of SKT. These results suggest that SKT has a regulative function of T-lymphocytes in anti-tumor drugs administered mice.
